Best vacuum I’ve ever had!
This is my third shark vacuum. I am impressed by the suction power of this vacuum. However, it is very difficult to push on my longer carpet. I have adjusted the suction power to the lowest setting and still struggle. It also pushes around object that’s aren’t imbedded into the carpet. It won’t pick up cheerios, Barbie shoes, raisins or items of similar size. Because of that I would not recommend it to anyone with children.

I’ve tried to like this for 3 years and it’s just not the best. It works fine for everyday use but when attempting to use the wand or attachments, it’s awful, the hose is so short you can’t reach anything and it tips over if you try to do anything. Bought this vacuum 8mos ago and it’s been excellent. It’s sucks up dirt very powerfully, especially when using the attachment or hose in corners and hard to reach places. I’ve been rather impressed and I hope it’ll last for years to come. We’ll see! Quick note: It has mainly been used on hardwood floors, area rugs and seats/floors in my car. If you have a carpeted home, you could possibly have a different experience, over time.

This is my first Shark vacuum. I previously had a cheap Bissell that just never did the job quite right. I always wanted to invest in a good non expensive vacuum and decided to purchase this one as it was on sale. I’m very happy. It was easy to assemble it took me less than 5 min and I didn’t need to read instructions. The vacuum does feel bulky if you lift it but once I used it the swiveling was nice and it picked up suction so much better than my old vacuum. I am very pleased with it

I loved the shark when I tried it at my nieces house. I have been vacuum shopping for a while, as my current one attachments broke. This vacuum was easy to assemble and works great. The suction is perfect and the attachment piece to clean my couch from dog hair worked great! Very pleased with that as we own a German shepherd. The one thing I don’t like is the cord holder is on the opposite side I’m used to and it felt awkward to me. I love that it can be cleaned out after every use easily and rinsed out.

Way too strong on suction!
Good grief! The suction! No matter the setting, the suction is so strong, I can hardly push or pull it and it literally lifts the carpet up, sometimes not even picking up the intended stuff just because there’s such a deal with the carpet! I really hate that, too because it’s a nice design (though the cord being on the right side is awkward) and love the handheld component. But I just can’t see working this hard anytime I want to vacuum. It took all my strength to push and pull, push and pull…. and I only got through one bedroom. I have no doubt I can’t even use it on my loose rug. Too strong. Way too strong. Needs a cool your engines setting.

This is the worst vacuum i’ve ever had! Yes it’s good on hardwood floors. When vacuuming any size carpet Whether it be tall or short It stops stocking and gives a red light. There’s no way to There’s no option to raise a vacuum for the carpet. I absolutely Hate this vacuum don’t waste your money!!!

Broken handle less then six months of use
I decided to upgrade to a Shark from the standard Bissel vacuums I had previously owned. After six months of use (average twice a week) I would have difficulty justifying buying again if not on sale. Today sealed the deal when the handle broke!

Well, well, well, move over Dyson, there’s a new sheriff in town! Our trusty Dyson finally bit the dust after several years of loyal service, so we decided to upgrade to this vacuum wonder. Let me tell you, it’s like our carpets have been hiding secret dirt parties for years, and this vacuum crashed it like the coolest uninvited guest ever! My wife and I are so amazed by the dirt it’s uncovering; we’re considering inviting friends over just to vacuum together. Seriously, if you want your carpets to spill the beans on their dirty secrets, buy this vacuum pronto! It’s a dirt-devouring, carpet-cleaning marvel!

Strong Suction
I should have bought this vacuum cleaner sooner! I primarily have hardwood floors, but also have area rugs. This vacuum cleaner works well on both types of flooring, with a simple switch of the power button. It has powerful suction either way. Assembly was simple. See photo #2 for instructions on the box flap. Complete instructions also in the provided manual. Using it is also easy and disposing of dirt is simple. I used my old vaccum on my rugs and then directly used this new Shark NV360 Navigator. Photo #3 shows how much more dirt and debris was pulled out of carpets. Amazing! I really like that it has a HEPA filter too. It would be nice if it came with a long extension wand, to clean base boards without having to bend over.

This is a great, easy to use vacuum. The hose is tight, I’m hoping with continued use it will loosen up and stretch a little further, but it does a good job! I’ve had a Kirby for years, great suction but heavy and clunky to use. I’m happy with this purchase!

Never even turned it on…returning
Out of the box, could tell this was not the same quality as my Shart Navigator Deluxe I bought 8 years ago. That one is still going strong but wanted a second one for downstairs to prevent carrying up and down. This one is much flimsier material. Wands take two hands to separate for use instead of easy push button on old model. No dust brush included. Reason I sent back is electric cord is on the right side and down low by the floor rather than up high and on left on holder model. Majority of users are right handed. How is user to vacuum with right hand while simultaneously holding cord out of the way while vacuuming? If cord is carried in my left hand I’d be constantly tripping over cord. Poor design. And please make the hoses longer on these machines! Machine tips over every time trying to use hose for cleaning and is extremely inflexible. Older model has same issue. I’ve resorted to using dust mops to clean walls and baseboards.

Great suction. Remember to twist open suction vent for deeper rugs. Switch is a little inconvenient and power cord would be easier if it was connected at the top not the bottom. I’ve been hanging it over the top winding hook to keep it out of my way. But loses me a couple of feet of forward length.

wheels don’t support suction power over carpeting. bare floors this is excellent, but any type shag or bristle carpeting the wheels do not move easily and hard to push vacuum.

The suction power is INSANE! I was using a cordless because I liked the idea of it, but it always died so fast and the canister is so small. I decided to get this one and add an extension cord, it works great! This vacuum gets everything possible.

What performance!
This model has such cleaning power, I was over the top pleased overall. Careful with any throw rugs, they can easily get sucked up into the rotating head and jam the entire machine. Great edge cleaning, but wish the power cord was a few feet longer. Dust cup easy to empty and I rinse it with hot tap water every few uses just to keep the finer dust and dirt particles out of the way.

Overall, the vacuum is pretty good
I have had this vacuum for almost a year. It does very well in general vacuuming. Pluses…it sucks very good, easy cleaning, the cord length is ok. Aftermarket filters work well. Minuses…the hose could be longer; the attachments are a non-standard size (needs an adapter). The exhaust is in the front of the carpet head, on a smooth surface just blows debris away. Giving less stars due to the non-standard fittings.

Received the first vacuum, and the hose handle would not lock in like all the other pieces did. Received the second vacuum the next day after contacting customer service, and had the same issue. Amazon was very polite, but very disappointed to receive two vacuums with the same issue. Appears to be a manufacturing problem on this lot of vacuums. Certainly NOT going to give it a third try.

not noisy doesn’t make noises or grindings. filters easy to clean and dry fairly easy and fast to reassemble the unit for the next time. the reach for the hose is fairly good too. I would recommend this unit for any 16-year-old to do house chores.

Definitely a loud vacuum
In backwards motion it squeals. You can hear the air leaking through the hose and pieces that are attached. The plastic is cheaply made. Wouldn’t recommend. Was going to return item, but was informed I had to print off label… and drop it off at a UPS store. That’s 40 mins from my house. I’ll take a loss.

My family thinks I’m a little nuts with how excited I get using this vacuum. I’m blown away by the amount of dust, dirt, and pet hair it sucks up. We have used the (very expensive) Dyson Pet vacuum for several years. I will never go back! This vacuum’s quality and price point were beyond my expectations. The only “con” is the cord is a bit short. If you’re trying to vacuum a larger room, you’ll need to move around it to another plug. Not a big deal in my opinion 🙂

Build quality, could be better
We’ve owned two units of this vacuum model and generally find them to be satisfactory. However, a significant design flaw is their tendency to tip over. When they do, they often land on the section where the hose connects to the vacuum body. This is particularly problematic because the impact area is constructed from thin, fragile plastic. Despite treating the vacuum with care, as evident from the attached image, the plastic has sustained multiple breaks. These damages have progressed to the point where the vacuum is no longer functional, as the hose cannot securely attach to the unit. If you’re confident in your ability to prevent it from falling, this vacuum might still be a viable option. Otherwise, I’d advise considering alternative models

Replaced my old shark with this one. Choose this one because it advertised great for pet hair. It is strong, like all shark vacuums. But the cons are 1. the cord is much shorter 2. it only has hard surface or carpet options, it works great on my hard surfaces and my low pile carpet, but I have three area rugs that it feels like the brakes are on hard on either setting. I have to push incredibly hard to vacuum rugs. 3. it is the first vacuum I can recall without a headlight. That is a great feature this one does not have.

Worst Vacuum I’ve ever used
It’s almost too difficult to push on carpet. It doesn’t pick up dirt or crumbs. The only thing this vacuum is good for is if you need a good arm workout. I’m returning immediately.

Stopped working after 2 months
Acknowledging this was a refurbished item, nevertheless very unhappy with it. After about two months and four or five uses the suction dropped to almost zero. Past the return date and not feasible to get it fixed. Going to have to write this off and buy a new one.
