We replaced a five-year-old shark that is identical to this one. I wouldn’t use this as your main vacuum as the suction is not quite like a corded vacuum. But we use this one for quick cleanups around the birdcage and the occasional spills. Shark discontinued, the headlight on the front of the unit which is said because a greatly helped you locate and ensure that you were getting up any debris on the floor. I bought it aftermarket light but it’s not the same.

Pros and cons
Great little vacuum! I use it multiple times a day on wood floors, rugs, carpet and even my couch. I really only use it on the first setting “carpet” because I think it’s sucks things up better. It really does a good job on pet hair on my couch. I don’t like the hard plastic wheels, I wish they were covered with something softer. I’m always a little worried they will scratch my wood floors. It hasn’t but it does worry me a bit. My only other complaint is the battery life. Fully charged it only lasts like 15 min. That’s crazy to me! It’s 2023 can’t you make a battery that lasts longer? I’ve had other cordless vacs that do. Anyways, it’s a good buy and I’ll keep it until it goes to vacuum heaven but I may pick something different then.

Don’t waste your money
This is one of the worst vacuums I’ve ever used. The suction is great but It has an extremely bulky head which is not ideal for corners or underneath things, and the battery dies FAST like can’t event clean my house in one sitting fast. I also hate that it turns off after you switch through from carpet to floor rather than back to carpet.

I love this cordless, bagless, and lightweight vacuum. I’ve had it over three years, and it’s still working great. As someone with a physical disability, vacuuming always used to be the most exhausting house chore. It’s still exhausting (’cause everything is), but the design of this vac definitely makes it much easier to clean my floors.

We have only hardwood floors, but we do have two cats and I have long hair. This vacuum could not handle those things. Even with us cleaning the brush and emptying daily. We got this August 30th and it’s suction and the brush don’t work anymore on Dec 1st. Would not recommend.

I forgot when I had bought this, but it’s still working!! Normally, vacuums don’t last long, but I knew a Sharky would!! I just didn’t have enough money to buy one, so I substituted. Loud and ineffective
I knew going in that cordless vacs are notorious for having poor working batteries. I just wanted it for quick clean ups and basically that is all this vac is good for. Area rugs or flooring the vac does a pretty good job but it loses battery and power within minutes on wall to wall carpeting. And it is extremely loud. The peircing noise that is emitted from a product that is not working very hard is astounding. But again this was also in other reviews so I was forewarned. Keeping it because it was purchased with a gift card but don’t waste your cash on this product. Even for small jobs I am sure there are better choices. Also the battery light never stops flashing while plugged in so one never knows when the battery is fully charged. To sum up; the suction is okay on floors and area rugs, battery life is minimal, weight is average, but the noise level is terrible. Wear ear plugs!

My most used vacuum for everyday
I have had a Shark cordless in my home for the past 10+ years and I couldn’t do without it for everyday cleanups. I am very pleased with this latest version. Easy to clean and I bought the extra filters. I use my heavier Shark, corded, for deeper vacuuming. Stairs are awkward only because you have to do one side and turn vac to do the other. Only reason I gave it 4 stars. It does do a good job though and is easier than using attachments on my heavier vacuum.

Charge doesn’t last very long
We like this vacuum because it’s lite weight and manages both rugs and bare floors very well. The problem is the charge doesn’t last long enough to do a medium sized house. We have to charge it again half way through the cleaning. We wouldn’t buy it again.

Great vacuum
After years of dragging around a heavy canister vacuum, long unwieldy hose, and even longer cord, I found this perfect vacuum for me – lightweight, cordless, and great suction! I was worried about how much of an area I could vacuum on one charge. It turns out I can do the living room, kitchen, and all 3 bedrooms. Our house is not very large and it’s all on one floor so this is exactly what I needed. Great performance from a small lightweight vacuum! So glad I bought it!

Don’t recommend it
Thought Shark was supposed to be the best but this proves to be wrong. This vacuum is not great. The return window closed after a month and I’ve had it for 2 which is unfortunate cus I would return this in a heartbeat. Tried to give it an honest chance. Suction isn’t great, it doesn’t push or move easily, things get stuck on the roller extremely easily. It’s not even sucking things up after 2 months light use. It’s just pushing everything back out. Roller has been cleaned. I don’t know what the deal is but I won’t be purchasing another Shark.

I have owned this product for 10 months and used it multiple times a week to vacuum my small townhome. It works great and gets the job done but in that time span it has broken twice now. I was able to replace the belt piece the first time since it was a fairly new vacuum (5months old) but I am sad that it broke again and don’t find the hassle of taking it apart and reassembling it to be a value to my household.

Easy to use and powerful
I have used many vacuums over my years. I needed a new rechargeable, cordless to replace my 20 year old one. I did my whole main floor (1500 sf.) without running out of battery! I had to empty it (easy to do) midway because of all of the cat hair that it picked up. It does great on bare floors and carpet; too much suction for throw rugs.

Works quite well for a battery powered vacuum. Light and picks up good. Easy to use. Very happy with purchase. This is wonderful for when you need a quick vacuum and dont want to drag out the corded one. I have always been pleased with Shark products.
