I had been eyeing this machine for years after seeing it on social media. I couldn’t pull the trigger because it is expensive and the reviews were a bit mixed. When I saw it for sale with a steep discount during Prime day, I finally committed and I am so glad I did. I am a busy mom of 4 who just doesn’t have time to mop everyday (or week unfortunately). We have tile in the kitchen and hardwood floors where we eat. The kitchen tiles were NEVER clean. I sometimes steamed them twice in a row and then used a regular mop and the floors still didn’t pass the “paper towel” test. Enter Tineco. As soon as I charged it for the first time I did my tiled floors. I did 2 rounds just because I wanted to give the machine a fair shot on floors that never seemed to get clean. Oh my gosh, for the first time EVER there was no residue on a paper towel when I wiped the floor. None whatsoever. I’ve seen complaints about the battery but I have a 3600 sq ft house. I bought the combo (more in that later) which I think has a shorter battery life than the regular Tineco — I can still do my whole first floor before the battery even gets to 30%. I did my entire kitchen, eat in area, living room, dining room, and the first floor bathroom tonight and it was at 40%. I did have to clean the dirty water tank once and add fresh water but I don’t mind. I bought the combo — I wish I would have bought just the regular one. I have yet to use the hand vac and I honestly don’t think I ever will. I can just use our regular vacuum if I need to get into tight crevices. That is my only regret with this machine. Cleaning is a breeze. I had an issue the first time running the self clean — it kept telling me to clean the dirty water tank even though it was clean. I ended up just manually starting the self clean function and it worked like a charm. This machine saves me so much time and now my floors are clean. It takes not even 5 minutes to clean the machine when I’m done (wash the dirty water tank, the roller, wipe down the machine, etc) and that’s because I really want to take care of the machine. You probably don’t need to be as diligent as I am. I did notice it leaves slight streaking on my darker hardwood floors (nothing on my light hardwood). It is minimal and doesnt bother me whatsoever. All in all, I love this machine and so far I don’t regret this purchase whatsoever. I hope this review helps someone who may be contemplating!
I bought the machine three months ago. It is not working correctly. You have to put it on the charger to start the machine. I called the company they had me ship the machine back for repair receive the machine back with the same issue now they want to send me a refurbished machine! After spending almost $500 on a new machine, I have to except a refurbished machine. And they threaten you if you put a negative review.

Love this vacuum! Super easy to clean your floors and clean the machine. The tank is on the smaller size so if you are deep cleaning, dump and charge the vacuum while doing other things! Does charge pretty quickly! Great on hardwoods and tile!

I’ve had this for a few months to do an honest review. First off, it’s a major time saver when it comes to cleaning floors. It has a self cleaning feature but what I have learned is even when you self clean and empty the dirty container, it still gets stinky. This needs to be thoroughly cleaned (all parts including mop head) after every use otherwise your whole floor smells the next time you use it. I highly recommend getting the whole package, you will use the extra mop head and brush/cleaning solution. This is perfect if you have kids. I’d imagine it would be good if you had a pet as well. We use this about once a week and we bought this about 6 months ago and we still haven’t quite gone through a whole bottle of solution. I was worried about the battery not lasting but by the time I’m done with kitchen, dining room, and living room I have about 70% left. My one complaint is I wish it took more water. This makes my life so much easier as a mom!

I decided to purchase this unit due to the glorified reviews and the fact that it was Amazon’s choice. I’ve had the unit less than 2 months and it already crapped out. Customer service for Tineco was available when called. I just finished shipping it back via Fedex for repair. I’ve probably used the unit a total of 10 times since purchase. I will update my review once it comes back from repair. Fun note Fedex employee mentioned he’s seen a couple of these being shipped to manufacturer. Shows my unit prob isn’t the only defected unit. Overall Use: it gets the job done but you’ll need to constantly empty the water tank. It is a wet mop/vac combo but you don’t have the option to just vaccuum. As for the hand held portion, the only attachment that gets good suction is the skinny tube without the brush at the end. Good for small areas but takes forever if you’re cleaning your car. If i could still return to Amazon for a full refund I would in a heart beat.

Defective: Heart broken!! I LOVED it while it lasted
I LOVED this unit… I got mine during prime day. Used it carefully and by the book, really wanted this investment to last a long time. One month and it’s 3rd use later, my clean water tank started leaking, a little at first then a lot. This made the sensor act up so it wouldnt run a self clean or do really anything properly. I immediately reached out to the amazon customer service number on my order and was told ‘although the unit is defective’, he couldn’t issue a replacement part or replace my unit, like I expected, but would refund my purchase price after I returned my unit and I could just order a new one on the site. Not thinking much of it at the time, I agreed, started the return process and then realized, my refund (because of the prime day sale) wont cover the cost of a replacement unit now. I am genuinely heartbroken about my unit and super upset that this is being handled this way, especially when it proved faulty within the first 30 days…

It just stopped working. I push the button to turn it on but it just turns on and right back off. I haven’t used any other solution. It is cleaned and everything. It still does not work and I have only had it since March 2023. It is Aug 2023. Not worth the $500.

The mop portion of the vacuum doesn’t clean any of the dirt off my floors. I purchased the mop thinking it would make it easier on myself when it comes to cleaning… if anything it causes more hassle. I still have to mop my floors after using it, and yes I’m using it correct. I read the manual and I watch informational videos on how to use the product correctly. I would not recommend the vacuum to anyone!! I can provide pictures if anyone’s interested.

Good but not $450 good
There is nothing wrong with this vacuum except for the fact that it’s over priced. The water compartment is tiny, I have to refill clean water and dump out dirty water after every room👎🏽 the amount of water being dispensed does not feel like it’s enough for “mopping”. I will be returning this appliance but if the price tag were $100 I would contemplate on keeping it. With that being said, IT DOES NOT LIVE UP TO THE HYPE. I wanted to love it so bad!!!:(

This thing is great for keeping our hard floors clean. The roller head does get stinky if you leave it in there for extended periods of time. We always remove ours and place it outside in the sun to use the UV rays to kill the germs.

We upgraded from the Floor One S One to the S Five model. It’s easier to get the roller cover off to clean if necessary. I loved both models. It self cleans itself great, gives you audio directions on what’s needing to be done with it- add water, empty dirty water tank, run cleaning cycle…. It’s super easy to use bc it’s self propelled, this model goes longer bc the water tank is much bigger and it’s cordless. If you have hard floors you NEED one to make your life easier! Get rid of your broom and mop and only use this!

I’ve used this a few times now and I just smile when I use it. As a parent with young kids this is a floor game changer. I used to sweep daily and mop only occasionally but would scrub up messes on the daily. My floors have never been less sticky since I got this vacuum. It self cleans and talks to me and isn’t too gross to clean up after. I want everyone to have one of these. It’s the best.

Battery life is terrible for $499 machine.
Almost 6 hours charging and it is only at 78%. (Manual said 3-4 hours charge) The battery also drained so fast! 2 minutes into use it’s 3% down. I wonder if this is battery defect or the product built with bad battery. I’m not satisfied with the machine.

battery charge doesn’t hold
I needed a good vacuum with mop as I have 2 babies who always make a mess on the floor. This one was recommended by a friend to me, and it worked surprisingly well. Easy to use and clean up. However the issue is that the battery charge isn’t holding up. First run max time was probably like 10 mins, now it shuts off after 2 mins. Hopefully they can fix the battery issue.

This product is very useful when your a mom of three. Pros- it doesn’t struggle with my dogs course fur or my cats fluffy fur -it cleans well on hardwood laminent and tile floors. – self charging and cleaning is awesome. – the cleaning solution has a good smell and doesn’t leave residue. Cons- the clean tank is small and needs filled after every room. – self cleaning is a little louder then I thought it would be. – the charge does seem to go down pretty fast but I am able to get my 1300sq ft house done before the battery dies. All in all this was a great purchase and I would purchase again.

I waited 1 year to review this because I wanted to see how it lasted. I have a larger sized home, 2 dogs (one of which is 16 years old), 1 husband, and I’m a clutz so messes happen. I mop often (3+ times a week). After a year of use, this S5 Pro 2 is still amazing. It is by far the best vac/mop I’ve used (and I have used a lot of them). It cleans up ANYTHING! I got hurt and didn’t clean for 2 weeks and my hubby had to do the floors. One pass and my floors are spotless! I cook a lot and spills and messes happen, no worries. One pass and done! My parents wear their filthy shoes in my home when visiting, no worries. One pass and done! I have 2 long haired Havanese dogs – this thing picks up ALL their hair (and it’s a LOT) and I have long hair it picks that up too! I do have to refill it and empty the dirty water/hair half way through cleaning but that’s okay it’s so easy! I do have to do a “deep clean” after every use (my non-shedding 16 yr old dog has medical issues so she sheds A LOT). Do I wish I had dual edge cleaning that the S7 has, yup! Do I long for an extra 5 minutes of battery (well I can do my whole downstairs and bathrooms with 5% battery to spare so probably). As a side note: my hubby used it to mop for the first time (I”m injured) and now he is requesting a cordless vacuum for the carpeted areas of the house that works as well as this! LOL If you are debating “should I get it” GO FOR IT… or if you have some extra cash get the S7 …. This is the best purchase I made in the last year.

Great appliance but not sure if it’s the best! Cleaned the floors but after first use I noticed a few different spots that water got on the floor from it? Does get some tough spots, tells you how dirty your floor is, and tells you when to self clean! Basically how too!

Time saver, totally worth it!!!
I had been eyeing this machine for years after seeing it on social media. I couldn’t pull the trigger because it is expensive and the reviews were a bit mixed. When I saw it for sale with a steep discount during Prime day, I finally committed and I am so glad I did. I am a busy mom of 4 who just doesn’t have time to mop everyday (or week unfortunately). We have tile in the kitchen and hardwood floors where we eat. The kitchen tiles were NEVER clean. I sometimes steamed them twice in a row and then used a regular mop and the floors still didn’t pass the “paper towel” test. Enter Tineco. As soon as I charged it for the first time I did my tiled floors. I did 2 rounds just because I wanted to give the machine a fair shot on floors that never seemed to get clean. Oh my gosh, for the first time EVER there was no residue on a paper towel when I wiped the floor. None whatsoever. I’ve seen complaints about the battery but I have a 3600 sq ft house. I bought the combo (more in that later) which I think has a shorter battery life than the regular Tineco — I can still do my whole first floor before the battery even gets to 30%. I did my entire kitchen, eat in area, living room, dining room, and the first floor bathroom tonight and it was at 40%. I did have to clean the dirty water tank once and add fresh water but I don’t mind. I bought the combo — I wish I would have bought just the regular one. I have yet to use the hand vac and I honestly don’t think I ever will. I can just use our regular vacuum if I need to get into tight crevices. That is my only regret with this machine. Cleaning is a breeze. I had an issue the first time running the self clean — it kept telling me to clean the dirty water tank even though it was clean. I ended up just manually starting the self clean function and it worked like a charm. This machine saves me so much time and now my floors are clean. It takes not even 5 minutes to clean the machine when I’m done (wash the dirty water tank, the roller, wipe down the machine, etc) and that’s because I really want to take care of the machine. You probably don’t need to be as diligent as I am. I did notice it leaves slight streaking on my darker hardwood floors (nothing on my light hardwood). It is minimal and doesnt bother me whatsoever. All in all, I love this machine and so far I don’t regret this purchase whatsoever. I hope this review helps someone who may be contemplating!

Big improvement for floors but could use tinkering
There’s not much on the market for cleaning hard floors. Regular “mops” — cotton or sponge — dirty grout immediately which only gets worse. This electric mop suctions the fluid so dirty water is not pushed into the grout. I have white marble floors and white grout. I love the look. The only way to keep that appearance is to get the dirty water suctioned. The equipment is expensive for a “mop,” but a bargain relative to the price of getting grout cleaned professionally. My complaint is the need to empty the dirty water so frequently. I would like more capacity. But it really works! I haven’t had it long, so I am hoping its longevity is reasonable.

I bought the machine three months ago. It is not working correctly. You have to put it on the charger to start the machine. I called the company they had me ship the machine back for repair receive the machine back with the same issue now they want to send me a refurbished machine! After spending almost $500 on a new machine, I have to except a refurbished machine. And they threaten you if you put a negative review.

Worst ever machine and worst customer service
So the machine start giving mold smell, I was cleaning it all the time, trying to fix myself, after talking to an agent they said they can only replace with used machine (!) excuse me $600 new for used. Then they said they will ship replacement only when they receive mine which will take another 1-2 weeks to delivery the used machine (like where you guys learned to grow business like this). Disgusting customer service and company policies.

Very poorly designed.
It’s nice that this machine has a larger clean water tank and that the battery lasts a bit longer. The edge cleaning though one sided is also nice however the dirty water tank fills up so quickly that it needs emptying far more frequently than on my older model and the dirty water and clean water tanks are not balanced so that I no sooner empty the dirty water tank and resume cleaning when just a few minutes later the clean water tank empties so I feel as though I’m spending more than half the cleaning time running back and forth filling and emptying the water tanks. This is a very poor design on Tineco’s part and I feel as though much as I want to love this machine I may have to return it. I do hope they address this situation in the future and get the tanks balanced because then I would love it. Edge cleaning on both sides would be nice too because the one sided edge cleaning gets awkward.

If you have dogs, you need this! I vacuum every day and mop. I now can do it all in 1 step and it’s amazing! I’ve told everyone about this product. I have plank flooring and it does a great job and I also go over throw rugs and it cleans them also!

Takes quite a bit to charge. From 40% (opening the box) to 100 it took around 4 hrs. I wanted to get a full charge before use. The run time is quite shorter than advertised and now have to wait for another full charge. Wouldn’t be able to clean the whole house on 1 charge. Also don’t like the act, they tell you to only use Tineco floor solution. From the price to being able to use, it’s isn’t the best option. A lot of other mops that does the same or better mopping for far less the price. Side notes: The delivery was late and no packing paper in the shipping box. Was bouncing around a big old box with the plastic cover being ripped. For the cost of the item, I thought it would be packed better

I bought this thinking it would be awesome for my hardwood floors and tile. It’s not. It takes so long to clean, I have to go over the same spots about 5 times before it’s even remotely clean. I get one room mopped and it’s dead. Not a huge fan.

I bought this for my wife and I to use on our new home’s laminate wood floors. The directions are not the clearest on using the product, I went to their website to watch some videos to get a better understanding. It cleans floors great and tells you when the floor is clean or dirty. I would recommend this for homes with laminate floors.

I can already say that my stress levels of getting nice clean floors is gone in a matter of days. This s5 combo is exactly what I’ve been needing to stay sane and get my floors clean with ease. It’s easy to use and easy to clean. I love all of the accessories that come with it and it was such a bonus for me to get a hand held vacuum that I desperately needed. Game changer!
The media could not be loaded. Okay! I’ve wanted a Tineco for a couple years. Ever since we put tile through a large part of our house. Recently we replaced more flooring in our house with luxury vinyl plank. Time for the Tineco and time for Prime Days!! I got a great discount but I’d pay full price for this machine! I charged the machine then filled the clean water tank with water and a capful of Tineco cleaner and set off! First of all, the self propulsion is amazing and quite strong. Makes cleaning easy. I used the machine on auto mode for the livery vinyl plank and my wood floor then moved it to max mode for my ceramic tile as this is in the kitchen and needs deeper cleaning. I did about 70% of my hard floors before the machine asked for me to dump the dirty water tank. Easy to do. I dumped it in the toilet and rinsed it out in the utility sink. I kept cleaning then decided to do some of the tile again so I refilled the clean water reservoir. When done, when there was still 30% battery left, I was done. Took about 20 minutes total to do 1000 sq ft. I plugged the machine into the charger and it said it was charging and assessing if a self cleaning was due. It was. I’ve attached a video of this cycle that only took 2 minutes. After the self clean I took everything apart and rinsed and wiped parts dry. The nice thing is they give you a second roller and filter that are clean and dry so as your recently used ones dry you can put the machine back together. The cleaning was quite simple and straightforward. I love the machine. I only wish I’d bought it 3 years ago!!

Great for sanitizing
I have 5 dogs. A husky, husky/shepard, German shepard, pomsky and a chihuahua. This can NOT keep up with the hair. It clogs it fast. I did sweep before I tried it. So most of it was cleaned. It is great for sanitizing after. My floors do look amazing now. It did leave streaks.
