This is my third shark vacuum. I am impressed by the suction power of this vacuum. However, it is very difficult to push on my longer carpet. I have adjusted the suction power to the lowest setting and still struggle. It also pushes around object that’s aren’t imbedded into the carpet. It won’t pick up cheerios, Barbie shoes, raisins or items of similar size. Because of that I would not recommend it to anyone with children.

The media could not be loaded. Love the color, love how well it works, love that it isn’t super loud, I mean it’s a vacuum has to be semi loud. Anyways, works fantastic on carpet and it will definitely suck up your rugs or anything in it’s way so be careful with small area rugs or backpack straps! Filter cleans easily and my problem with this is that there’s no light on the front like my previous shark vacuum and the cord is on the opposite side of the vacuum of my last one, so I constantly have to hold the cord with my right hand because otherwise the vacuum constantly runs the cord over, kinda annoying. Also the cord is noticablely shorter than my previous shark vacuum…

Roller is not that great.
Roller wont work on thick carpeting.it is not self cleaning. Hair wraps around roller as any vacuum. Price went down $60 2 weeks after i bought it

Its a vacuum. Terribly difficult to use. Suction is good, but does not work on throw rugs as my old Shark vacuum did. Do not like this vacuum.

This thing is a pain! Although it’s light weight and gets around good, it’s not user friendly. At all. The tool carrier is in the way and they fall off. The handle is difficult to remove because it’s tight. I absolutely hate it.

This vacuum is not in the normal Shark line, but is one made especially for retailers specials. Way overpriced, but the worst thing is no replacement parts except for filters. I needed a new hose (It split) after 4 months. Shark doesn’t make a replacement hose or brush roller, the two parts that most need replacement! Amazon does not disclose this, nor do they disclose that you have to send the entire vacuum back., even if you just need a hose!! Shipping is half the cost of vacuum!! So now I have a $229 vacuum held together by tape. Please don’t buy. You will regret it!

So very hard to push on carpet
I wish I had not bought this vacuum! My old Shark was much easier to push on my carpet. I would like to return it but dont have the box anymore.

Can’t find source for attachments
Love this vacuum. Have had it for years and it never disappoints. However during a move the attachments were lost and I can’t find a source to replace them. Anyone know where I can find them?

Best pet vac ever
This is the best vacuum I have ever owned. I have a husky and it makes the carpet look brand new and gets that deep down dirt. the roller doesn’t get tangled with hair which I always had a problem with on other vacs. Definitely worth the money

Amazing auction!
I’ve only had this vacuum for 2 weeks. But I’m in love with it! I had just vacuumed the day before I received this one and used it as soon as it got here. The canister was completely full with all it sucked up!! I was shocked!! It was very easy to put together and the instructions were very clear! And I love the attachments. It is a little heavy to carry around the canister while using the attachments but not so much that it begins to hurt my arms. The only small complaint I have is it’s a little difficult to empty the canister. The dirt gets stuck on the sides and you have to pull it out with your hands which is gross. But it’s not a deal breaker for me. It’s still 100% better than my old bissell!!!

Repeat buy
I’ve purchased this twice. The first one died after 5 years. The most recent no longer comes with the same hardwood attachment, but the old attachments fit. The new one also feels slightly less sturdy, and slightly louder, but I’ve only had good experience with Sharks, so I assume I’ll have this one for 5 years also.

Light vacuum
I was surprised at the weight of this vacuum. I had an older brand, and it was much heavier. This one is light and maneuvers easily. I tried using the rotary attachment on my stairs. I prefer just using the regular vacuum without the attachment. The head of the vacuum is smaller than my previous one, but works just the same. It glides easily on my wood floors, and there is a lot of suction on my carpets.

This is a heavy vacuum and a bit unwieldy
We absolutely could not believe the amount of dirt & fuzz this vacuum picked up, this after just vacuuming with the old vacuum prior to the Shark arriving. Our wool rug is no longer giving off fuzzies so tile floor isn’t as dusty. Our dog does not shed, but the grit she can bring in is another story. The vacuum is heavy and not so easy to maneuver going from floor to area rug. But given how well it cleans and the price we are thrilled with it. Not sure how it would work with long human hair as that’s not an issue for us. If you have stairs this would not be a good choice, extension hose is way too short and machine way too heavy.

Always get a shark
I am a professional cleaner, and every good vacuum I use in people’s houses is a shark. This vacuum is very powerful. The only issue I have noticed is that it is kind of hard to push around on a rug because of the vacuum height, but also because of this, it was able to collect more dirt and hair than my other vacuum. Works on hardwood very well too.

Great Suction
It’s got great suction, but it’s heavy and a little awkward to maneuver- may be difficult for a frail person to manage. In my experience, cordless vacuums lack sufficient suction, but dealing with a cord is the sacrifice you need to make to get adequate power.

Works pretty good, falls over constantly since it’s so imbalanced. Hard to empty the dirt, even when you open both ends. Things get stuck and you have to touch it anyway. Would not recommend or repurchase on the future.

So I got this because I just got a silver lab puppy… He’s extremely hairy. All I can say is this thing will suck the nails out of your wood floor (if I could get that 10 stars I would, for suction & ease of movement. It is a bit heavier than I’d like… but because it’s so powerful I’m down with it ✌️

Don’t buy
I’m not sure if this was refurbished or just a giant piece of junk. New out of the box it didn’t work. Wouldn’t work on carpet or hardwood . It wouldn’t spin and would get stuck on carpet so easily, you had to push super hard for it to even move. We are shark fans so we’ll try and different one.

Got a used one twice
I ordered this vacuum as a new unit. As usual got an opened used one someone had sent back. I sure would’ve liked it if I got a new one like I was charged for. Had already returned one vacuum due to a similar issue. I don’t have the energy to go through all the return process again so I just kept this one. However, as far as the vacuum goes, it is a good vacuum cleaner. It has very strong suction and the attachments work well. My main complaint is if they were going to send out a used one they should’ve charged me less. I feel Amazon should refund some of my money back, but overall a good vacuum cleaner. I’m not sure about everybody else that uses Amazon frequently but I am getting a lot of pre-opened products and have started ordering stuff from other sources. I don’t mind paying for a refurbished items, but it would be nice to be told that you’re going to get a used one instead of a new one. I didn’t get some of the parts and I did not get the owners manual either. Not a major deal since the manual can be found online online but when you pay for a brand new product and they deliver you a used one to me that is poor business morals and it will bite Amazon in the butt eventually.

It’s ok
I have an older Shark which I barely use because it shorts out despite several attempts to have it repaired. I’ve been using an even older Shark a neighbor gave to me but the motor finally burned up on that. I read reviews and decided on this one. The design doesn’t work for me. The on/off switch is inconveniently low. The attachments hang close to the handle. It vacuums but for the price I expected a better design. I wouldn’t buy it again.

DO NOT BUY – DOES NOT WORK ON CARPETS
One of the basic things a vacuum should do is vacuum carpets. This unit does not. The little red light came on immediately and it was rendered useless. Complete waste. Gave it 5 stars so people will actually see this.

I have been using vacuum cleaner for the last month or more. It’s proven to work great good suction does a great job for the price. I’m pretty amazed. I do keep the filters cleaned to have optimum performance. It works great powerful suction couple tools that come with it is not all that fantastic but for the price and then a job it does vacuuming the carpet and hard floors is awesome

I was trying to replace a twenty year old dyson vacuum.so there is no comparison. But…..things are not made like they used to be. Everything is thin plastic that breaks easily. This vacuum has powerful suction but the attachments are tiny. Like a 5 inch crevice tool and a tiny 4 inch brush with felt,not bristles. Seriously? Worst feature,is that it easily tips over and now you have a hole in your wall or dent or scrape in your furniture .
