Best vacuum I’ve ever had!
This is my third shark vacuum. I am impressed by the suction power of this vacuum. However, it is very difficult to push on my longer carpet. I have adjusted the suction power to the lowest setting and still struggle. It also pushes around object that’s aren’t imbedded into the carpet. It won’t pick up cheerios, Barbie shoes, raisins or items of similar size. Because of that I would not recommend it to anyone with children.

Let me start by saying I was very disappointed after first buying a very popular cordless vacuum and ended up returning it. I read reviews all over the place for a good vacuum that would have strong suction power and have a HEPA filter. Man, reviews for vacuums are all over the place, making it really hard to narrow it down! I really wanted a cordless for convenience, but my husband is an electrician told me no, I want a corded one for the strongest suction. Suction power was our #1 “must-have” after returning the other vacuum that lacked it (even on the higher “max” setting). He was right. I sacrificed the cordless feature and ended up very satisfied with this vacuum. My husband wanted a corded one also because the cordless one we originally bought didn’t last long while using it on the max setting (even using it on the “normal” setting, the battery wasn’t very good, either. And yes, we always charged it for the full length of time, that wasn’t the issue). Well, we don’t have that problem anymore because it’s plugged in. I kind of wanted a bagged vacuum (I know, I’m so old school, right?) because I wanted to contain all the micro particles and seal it shut when emptying it, but again, I compromised and ended up happy. I love that this canister is very large and super easy to empty – the whole vacuum is seamless in regards to taking it apart and using the “lift off” feature. If I can do it, you can. It’s a little heavy after holding it for a while but that’s not a big complaint. Tip: make sure you actually read the manual when you get it. There’s some things I didn’t know that I’m glad I do now like the settings it needs to be on while using the “lift away” and the way it needs to be and also how the head needs to be positioned for that, too. Just so you don’t think it’s not working correctly or something… at least skim it. This baby swerves and swivels around furniture pretty good – I’m impressed. The max setting is a little loud. That’s to be expected. My dogs freak out a little but you can hear it sucking up so much stuff that it’s weirdly satisfying. What could be changed to make it better? Well… – i wish it came with more attachments other than the 2 it did – but I do like the storage option for them on the machine itself. Very handy and they don’t fall off or anything. – i wish this model came with the Powerfins brush head instead of the bristles. Not a deal breaker but I like the idea of them. Maybe next time. Never going back to a Dyson/ cordless ever again
This vacuum has made me realize that my cordless Dyson was barely scraping the surface of my carpets. I have a dog that sheds a ton and this vacuum truly gets it all up. Super easy to put together and not super bulky / easy to store in a small closet. Cannot recommend this enough.

This item arrived without one of the attachments. Because I was in the process of registering it, I called SHARK directly. They will put the missing piece in the mail to me without charge. This saves me the time and trouble of reboxing it and returning it to Amazon. Sharks warrenty is 5 years.

Great Vacuum!!
I had an older pet vacuum and I could still see hairs on the rugs. I have a little one who will be crawling soon and wanted to make sure to get up as much hair and dander and I could. I vacuumed with the old one, then this right after. Let me tell you, the canister was half full! I love it so far!

I had to quickly replace my old navigator when I accidentally rolled over some cat poop and sucked it up inside the vacuum. I didn’t feel like spending a ton, this one seemed as a fair price, but the cord is shorter and I don’t feel like it has the same suction as my old gray one. Another customer mentioned that there’s only a holder for one of the attachments, but it comes with two. Maybe it will just take some getting used to. But it sure was good to have a vacuum back after a week

The media could not be loaded. I have had 2 hoover wind tunnel, 2 Dyson animals and 2 bissels. This by far does a better job on carpet. There is just one design flaw. The suction is so strong, even when you open the suction decrease value, the upholstery attachment will not stay on. Why did they not add the hook for the click lock to hold on. 6 stars if this was not the case. Unfortunate someone on the design team did not pick up on this small detail.

This is the best vacuum I’ve ever bought! The suction power is absolutely incredible! It picks up so much more dog hair and dirt out of my carpet that I didn’t know my old vacuum was leaving behind. This is the first vacuum I’ve bought where the pet attachment actually works, and the lift away feature is very convenient for the stairs. Highly recommend!

This whole vacuum comes apart in a good way.
I got a clog already in it the other day and I was able to take it apart pretty easily to unclog it and get it back to normal. So far I love this vacuum. Only little hang up is I’m not a huge fan of the hose/ attachment for hand held but that could just be my preference. Other than that I love this machine it definitely does the job and doesn’t stink. So far so good.

Bulky and awkward!
The description says it’s easy to use and powerful. It is indeed powerful, but it is not easy to use. It’s awkward, heavy and hard to push. It is also confusing to use. So many buttons and pieces. The hose is not long enough to reach the floor, you have to bend down anyway. Also, it’s too powerful to use on an area rug. It literally stretched mine out and sucked it in, even when anchoring it down. Returned and bought a lighter, less troublesome vacuum.

I don’t believe the people who designed this vacuum actually used it in the real world. Using the tools is ridiculous because the vacuum keeps tipping over because the hose is so short. Very aggravating! Think people!!! 😖

This vacuum will not vacuum my basement or my rug. It is extremely hard to push!!! I tried all the manufacturers trouble shooting with poor results!!! I tried calling shark customer services and after 30 minutes on hold it just hung up! Terrible buy.

Thiis vacuum cannot be taken apart
This thing is made so you can’t do simple repairs or even easily clean the brush. It had good suction at first, but that went downhill within 6 months. Now, 1.5 years later, it’s completely broken. I have bought cheaper ones that worked far better and lasted longer.

I have always owned Shark vacuums. The quality of this model has definitely gone down hill. The suction isn’t as powerful, the cord has become much shorter than my previous Sharks, and it also does not vacuum well over area rugs. If you bump or rub the vacuum against any hard surface, it leaves a blue mark. Don’t waste your money.

After all the hype about how great this vacuum, it didn’t meet expectations
I’ve been using Eureka vacuums for years, but when I needed a new vacuum, almost every review page talked about how great this Shark was. So I bought it. The suction is great, as advertsed, but it is not self-propelled – you really have to push it to get it to move. Plus, it is not very wide. I can’t even use it on my living room rug, which is low pile, because it takes too much effort. Glad I kept the old Eureka for that one room. On balance, this was a buyer’s remorse purchase.

This vacuum is literally the best vacuum I’ve ever owned. Best vacuum I’ve ever owned!
This vacuum is one powerful unit! The first time I used it, I vacuumed the living room, the hallway and our bedroom. I filled up the canister 2/3 of the way!! The amount of dirt this thing pulled up made it look like I hadn’t vacuumed for a year, it was actually kinda embarassing! Suction is adjustable too, so you can lessen it for small rugs and the like so they don’t get stuck. I’m so glad I bought this, and the lift-away feature is nice too. And yes, bagless means you have to empty the dirt into something and it’s a bit messy, but if you do it outside it’s no problem and it’s totally worth it for the cleaning power you get. I’m very happy with this vacuum!

I do actually like this vacuum I have one at work in my office, but I bought one for my apartment and it does not vacuum overthrow rugs. The red light indicator comes on when you try to do vacuum throw rugs. For this reason I have to return
