I read the reviews and decided to still get the product. Just like the other reviews said this product was noisy which i didn’t mind. It also was a problem connecting to the wifi. I called tech support and got it done. But the 1 problem i had that wasn’t expecting was with the charging. I set it to vacuum every other day but it died after 1 hour of cleaning although it was docked for almost 48 hours. I will pay attention to the charging and return it if that happens again.

Terrible product
Do not buy this! It stopped working for me before I even finished paying for it- after buying it with my credit card. The vacuum somehow stopped connecting to the charger and only ever did a semi-decent job cleaning. I contacted the manufacturer, but they were not much help. Used Like New Roomba Was a WINNER for Me!
I have a doxie mix who sheds like crazy. Black fur is always everywhere. I took a chance on a used like new Roomba, and it has been wonderful. It works great at keeping my floors more clean, and I love that it goes under my platform beds, desks, and other furniture that is hard to reach with a traditional vacuum.

A waste of money. I guess it would work if you had no furniture or obstructions for it to go around. Battery doesn’t last long enough to do a small area and it takes several hours to recharge. Not What They Once Were
I have had three of these Roombas since December. All three have stopped working. I exchanged one. I’ve waited for UPS to pickup the second for two weeks and since then the third one has stopped charging. I’ve owned 5 total. The two previous Roombas worked for years. Can’t get this Roomba set up on Wifi. Spent over an hour on the phone with a Roomba representative and he had me try everything he could think of and nothing worked. He then escalated the case and I was supposed to be contacted by someone within two days and now it’s been a couple weeks and no one has contacted me. I sent several emails and no response. Very disappointing. The Roomba works manual of course, but I have downloaded the app and it’s supposed to work with Wifi. So Roomba customer service gets 0 ⭐️. Still contemplating on returning it.

What a let down
This “mapped” showed a map in the app but it just didn’t clean as well as our old one. It has the brush rollers instead of the silicon rollers, which we hated for animal fur. It would dock and not empty itself. It did the same pattern of cleaning everytime and it just wasn’t as thorough as our old one that just runs around randomly. We hated it so much in comparison to our old one we returned it and got the old one fixed. I was so excited to not have to empty the bin after each cleaning but this was huge let down.

I’ve tried to keep an open mind on this machine. Don’t waste your $….it is stuck on something more than it’s not. I wanted it to just help with excess dog hair. Great vacuum for sold floors, but if you have thicker carpet it does not work very well at all.. Our older 600 series irobot works better on carpet then this newer model.. The newer model doesn’t even travel on our carpet… Would not recommend if you have carpet..

This product stopped functioning after three months. It leaves its base and then goes about 6 feet and starts spinning in a circle. Rebooting it does not solve the problem. In addition, it picks up very little material on carpet. It takes 3 to 4 passes for it to partially clean a kitchen floor rug. It does not even come close to cleaning as well as a regular vacuum I would not recommend it. In addition, it had to be returned within 30 days of purchase so it was a complete waste of $250.

Have had 2.5 years now, still works but seems to be performing rougher as time goes on. Bangs harder (knocked my plant stand over) and rocks a bit more. I should have heeded the negative reviews. This is not my first Roomba and the old one worked fine but the battery time was getting shorter after over 3 years of use so I thought I would get the same quality with this one. I have had it for less than 2 months and it has for most of that time refused to work with the app even though the app and all the other equipment in my house worked fine with the old one they seem to think it’s my fault when I call customer service

Buggy with Horrible Product Support
I’ve had 3 generations of Roombas and this one is very low performing and finicky. After just 3 months it started having issues. I did extensive troubleshooting with online and iRobot resources before reaching out to support where they claimed my product serial number wasn’t valid and that my Amazon invoice (sent proof of both) wasn’t valid because Amazon shows ‘other’ as the seller. I am now stuck with expensive garbage and will never purchase an iRobot product again because their support isn’t good (Erik A) and their products are unreliable. Extremely low value product for the money. Disappointed is an understatement.

I have grown to hate this machine as if its a sentient being. It stops working about every 10 minutes (being generous) saying it’s stuck (it’s not), saying the center brush needs cleaning (it doesn’t). It misses entire rooms. It has sat on the dock unused for DAYS then run for about 15 minutes before saying there was no more battery charge. It will spend its entire cycle in a small limited area, seeming to refuse to ever move on. And when you get frustrated and just send it home, it will claim it can’t find the dock because the sensors are dirty (they’re not). Save yourself the frustration.

We had a roomba that literally just wore out. It was great and when time came we went with another roomba based on our earlier experience. We were disappointed. This unit gets lost constantly, won’t dock itself and gets stuck more easily that the original (same house/terrain). If you’ve only got wood or tile this might be an okay purchase. The most annoying feature (or lack of) is that you can’t control where it goes. I knew this going in but I didn’t realize HOW bad it was. It misses huge spots of dirt, often by entryways where I want it to go. Because I can’t direct it I’ll occasionally try to pick it up to move it, but then it immediately sends itself home instead of continuing the job. It also doesn’t work well at all on my low pile rug. It rolls over it but it hardly removes any dirt or pet hair at all.

Do not purchase this vacuum!! Received “empty the bin” errors and vacuum shuts down. Unable to fix this error! We have had this for 3 months. It is a common error if you look on line. The bin is empty and contacts clean. Poor quality. Regret this purchase.

It was finicky in the beginning, but it went fine eventually the next use. If battery is down to 25 percent, better to press pause in your Ap then it will give you the option to ‘return home.’.It will ‘finish up’ and may take a little while, but it will eventually return, then empty itself. If you run the battery out, it will die and not make it back to its port. You can then proceed to vacuuming again after it recharges.. The port hole jarred once,. The Ap will tell you that too. So I had to clear up. It was a ball of hair but was easy to remove right at the mouth of the opening. If the vacuum gets stuck in a certain area, the Ap will tell it too. Great product so far. We’re enjoying it. My dog plays with it but I try to supervise and stop him. Now he just enjoys watches it at least I think.

Worked for a month
Not my first autovacbot, picked this one up refurbished/ used. No issues until the internet went down. Now it won’t charge. It’s bad enough that it needed an older network to run (not even 5G) but now nothing. The slow internet mopping robovac is so working, as is the new litter bot so it’s not a connectivity issue. This vacuum is just holding up a dog toy now. Not such a great bargain for a sculptural toy stand.

It’s the inexpensive one but works just fine. It runs around for awhile, then goes back to its charging station, ready to go for next time. Roomba brand is quality. Our second one, for upstairs so I don’t have to wag the other one around. Standard barrier work for all the Roombas.

The media could not be loaded. I have no idea why this one is so lame. It gets stuck on walls, chairs, and sometimes nothing at all. It usually circles around doing the same area multiple time and it never returns to base. I usually have to tap it to move on. My first one last 2 years before running into my dog’s… you know what. Three was no cleaning it, just throw it away and get a new one. I regret this purchase very much and don’t understand why this is so bad.

Been running this vacuum for about 3 months now. Overall, I’m very satisfied with this purchase, especially at the sale price that was offered. It’s a good vacuum to run daily for maintenance to keep down dust and pick up things that may have fell on the floor. Make sure you put away any cords like your phone chargers or they will get sucked up in the vacuum. Put away anything that could cause spillages like a dog water bowl that could get pushed by the vacuum. Pros: Easy to use. Does really well on bare floors. Cons: It’s a bit loud so you will have to speak loudly if you’re in the same area. The noise will be heard in the background if you’re on the phone. Doesn’t do that thorough a job on heavy duty rugs.
