I had been eyeing this machine for years after seeing it on social media. I couldn’t pull the trigger because it is expensive and the reviews were a bit mixed. When I saw it for sale with a steep discount during Prime day, I finally committed and I am so glad I did. I am a busy mom of 4 who just doesn’t have time to mop everyday (or week unfortunately). We have tile in the kitchen and hardwood floors where we eat. The kitchen tiles were NEVER clean. I sometimes steamed them twice in a row and then used a regular mop and the floors still didn’t pass the “paper towel” test. Enter Tineco. As soon as I charged it for the first time I did my tiled floors. I did 2 rounds just because I wanted to give the machine a fair shot on floors that never seemed to get clean. Oh my gosh, for the first time EVER there was no residue on a paper towel when I wiped the floor. None whatsoever. I’ve seen complaints about the battery but I have a 3600 sq ft house. I bought the combo (more in that later) which I think has a shorter battery life than the regular Tineco — I can still do my whole first floor before the battery even gets to 30%. I did my entire kitchen, eat in area, living room, dining room, and the first floor bathroom tonight and it was at 40%. I did have to clean the dirty water tank once and add fresh water but I don’t mind. I bought the combo — I wish I would have bought just the regular one. I have yet to use the hand vac and I honestly don’t think I ever will. I can just use our regular vacuum if I need to get into tight crevices. That is my only regret with this machine. Cleaning is a breeze. I had an issue the first time running the self clean — it kept telling me to clean the dirty water tank even though it was clean. I ended up just manually starting the self clean function and it worked like a charm. This machine saves me so much time and now my floors are clean. It takes not even 5 minutes to clean the machine when I’m done (wash the dirty water tank, the roller, wipe down the machine, etc) and that’s because I really want to take care of the machine. You probably don’t need to be as diligent as I am. I did notice it leaves slight streaking on my darker hardwood floors (nothing on my light hardwood). It is minimal and doesnt bother me whatsoever. All in all, I love this machine and so far I don’t regret this purchase whatsoever. I hope this review helps someone who may be contemplating!
I bought the machine three months ago. It is not working correctly. You have to put it on the charger to start the machine. I called the company they had me ship the machine back for repair receive the machine back with the same issue now they want to send me a refurbished machine! After spending almost $500 on a new machine, I have to except a refurbished machine. And they threaten you if you put a negative review.

It took my husband and over an hour to set this stupid vacuum up. The instructions and description didn’t match. We cannot find a way to get it to dry vacuum and we have a big area rug. I have to stop every few minutes to clean it. Battery is very short lived. Not happy with this vacuum at all😡

Best investment
I have 2 young kids and it is very helpful cleaning up behind their messes. It will clean up anything. Make sure you keep the maintenance up on it as far as wiping it off and cleaning the part where the roller is so it’s still useful. Clean the tank out everyday or it can build up and if food is in it you could get mold in there because of the water and the filter would go bad.

Doesn’t last more then a year
We got this vacuum and loved it….used it weekly sometimes a few times in a week…..then just a couple months after the 1 year mark the battery started holding power long enough, now will not charge past 23%….I’ve cleaned the base and the connection spots for charging and moved plugs but still it will not charge…..not happy with how much these cost that it doesn’t last for at least a couple years…now just limping it along until we find something better…..very disappointed

The BEST machine ever – only regret is not buying sooner
My advice is to wait for a sale – they happen often – and then BUY!!! You will not regret it. I have about 1400sqft of tile and can clean the entire area on one charge. Over 2 decades, I have bought and tried just about every available contraption to help me clean my floors. With 3 kids and 1 dog, I finally resolved to not ever having a clean floor. But this was complete game changer. So easy to setup, charge, use and clean, I don’t mind hitting the high traffic areas daily. My only regret is not buying earlier. Even at full price it’s a steal!

I have 1940s wood floors and two small pups. I’m constantly cleaning and feel like my floors are never truly clean. I had a biased crosswave but after two years it burned itself out. 18 Month Update
I purchased this product almost 2 years ago and loved it. We have almost 3000 sq ft of hardwood floors. A few months ago I started having problems with the battery not charging. I contacted the company and they were prompt in getting back to me. There were some reviews negative about the company’s customer service. This was not the case for me. They sent out a box to pack up the cleaner and a mailing label. When they received it they emailed and emailed updates when it was completed and sent back. Its working great again. Pleased with the cleaner and the customer service.

This machine is high in price, but low in function
The media could not be loaded. I found the Tineco floor machine to have its strengths and weaknesses. On the positive side, it effectively cleans light and loose dirt, is lightweight, and operates quietly. However, it falls short when dealing with heavier or sticky dirt, as the brush roll lacks sufficient firmness for thorough cleaning. The unidirectional spinning of the brush roll poses challenges in achieving optimal friction for cleaning floor and the brush roll itself. The self-clean mode, while a good concept, doesn’t effectively remove trapped dirt and the water capacity is limited. The absence of a corded option impacts performance, especially considering the quick battery drain. The machine primarily operates effectively in max mode and at a slow pace, only in a forward motion, and its design limitations hinder reaching small spaces and areas around toilets. For professional cleaners, it may not be the most suitable choice due to portability issues. The dirty floor sensor appears more as a marketing feature than a functional tool, often providing inconsistent readings (shown in above video)The frequent replacement requirement for the brush roll feels overly wasteful. I usually mop my house three times every day. When I received my Tineco iFloor 5 Breeze, I immediately charged it. I used it, thinking I was not going to get much dirt off the floor since I had just mopped three times. I was wrong – the amount of dirt the machine got off my floors amazed me. Take a look at the picture – my jaw dropped when I saw it. Run to buy this – it’s amazing!

I can’t even describe how amazing this thing is on my floors. I have a lot of square footage and all the floors throughout are laminate wood. Ive struggled so much to keep them clean with my steam mop, which is corded, and never seemed to get them actually clean. This mop being cordless is a game changer. Its SO EASY. As long as you make sure to always keep it on the charging doc when not using it, you’ll never not have it when you need it. Easy to clean, easy to use, cleans so well. I like to be able to see the dirty water it collects because it gives me confirmation that the dirt was removed and I don’t have to guess. Its not loud, but there is sort of a change in pitch and a different noise that happens at Max and Ultra, I will be contacting CS about it just to make sure I did’nt get a damaged unit. But the noise level itself is not bad at all. I have a child that is upset by loud noises such as a vacuum, she was initially sus about this one but did not get upset, im able to use it around her because its not too loud which is a huge plus. I love that its cordless as I am not limited to wear I can use this. The water tank and dirty water tank does need to be refilled and emptied during use, which isnt the biggest deal. I have very large rooms and getting through 1 i needed to refill and empty the water tank twice. Would be great if both tanks could hold more liquid, but its not a deal breaker. I also love the scent of the cleaning product and can feel how nice it makes my floors. All in all, i 100% recommend this. Also, take advantage of customer service if you ever need, it sounds like they are very accommodating if you have any issues, and there is also a 24 month warranty on this item.

It works, cleans tiles an grout really well
I thought a combo vacuum and floor washing machine wouldn’t work very well but my wife wanted it. Got it charged it up, filled it with water and the provided cleaning solution and it really cleaned the floor tiles and the grout lines. We’re in Florida and the entire condo is tile and it cleaned all the rooms about 1650 sq ft easily and the rechargeable battery lasted on one charge. Emptied the dirty water container twice. It was easy to setup and use. Only drawback was the Tineco website when we tried to register the product. Really bad, you’re forced to give them your email for marketing to even be able to register the product then they didn’t even have this product listed, tried contacting them but you had to provide all your product info or you couldn’t email them and nobody answered their chat line. The product is great, but don’t expect to be able to contact Tineco for anything.

As I stated in the video, this is a very handy machine for your weekly cleaning routine, however, don’t think that you can go a couple of months without mopping, then come in and have this thing clean your floor for you. As you can see in the video, something that was stuck to the floor that could have been scrubbed up fairly easily, this soft brush cannot move. If you know this before you buy, and you don’t anticipate being disappointed by it, you’re golden. It’s great for quick messes. I, however, have huge buyers remorse ($$$) based on my expectations from when I made my purchase.

Received this product brand new and complete broke after 2 months of light use. I used and clean as directed and very careful not to hit furnitures or over use it. So frustrating that it’s completely dead after spending so much $$ on it!!!

The disadvantage of this product is that they battery runs low super quickly, so it take you forever to clean the house! It does the work though. I recommend buying the one that you connect to the electricity and not the portable one.

I bought my Tineco in June 2022. It worked well for the first few times I used it. But very quickly noticed that I would receive messages to begin self cleaning, I’d self clean, rinse the dirty water container etc as instructed to do and then shortly after going to the next room to proceed with cleaning would receive the same messages repeatedly. I sat it to the side and thought I’d make time to look into it, and started using my spin mop again. Once I finally had the time this January to sit down and look at it, go through all the troubleshooting online and still I couldn’t get it to work correctly. I contacted customer service and was asked to attach a short video as a response to how it was performing. I emailed back stating that even a 3 second video would not send through email. Again, I waited and procrastinated as a busy stay at home mom running a small business and undergoing 3 surgeries. I finally spoke to someone at Tineco and they emailed me a shipment label. I sent my machine to them immediately. Now just outside the 2 year warranty I’m told that the machine is unable to be repaired, is being scrapped and I’m neither receiving a replacement or a refund. For the amount of money I spent on this machine after seeing it go viral online, I’m disgusted and angry. Do not waste your money with this company.

I too fell for the good ratings and the stat which says “10,000 purchased in last month”. This is an awful vacuum and all the recent bad reviews are concurrent with my experiences. 1) “dirty water tank full” when it’s not. This means you have to empty out the dirty water tank literally every 5 minutes. It’s only 1/4 full but the machine still asks you to clean it out. Tineco does not care about fixing it. 2) Leaves streaking on the ground. Leaves Patches of dirty water on the ground Considering the price, this is NOT worth it. Good luck and hope you don’t have the same experience as me.

Did not repair and did not replace after failing under 1 year
They asked me to send me unit in for repair as it stopped working before the 1 year mark. They later told me that the machine was deemed a total loss and that they couldn’t send it back to me either. This company basically took my property and didn’t return it to me. Will NEVER order from them. $500 for something that fails under one year that wasn’t used to often to have it be sent out and not returned in hopes that I could potentially find a local appliance repair shop has to be one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had. They basically took my property. The clean water spray on this machine was wonky from the get go but it still worked up until about 2 months ago. Under 1 year to fail is unacceptable.

Do not Buy save your money
I hope this review can help anyone that is thinking of buying this machine. I bought it 2 years ago for $500 and for the last several months the battery goes out after 5 min of run time. Called the company to see if I can purchase a battery and they said I can not they don’t sell it. And my $500 dollar machine is now out of warranty so my only option is to purchase a new one. Terrible terrible experience.

This thing constantly says that the tank is full but it’s not even a quarter filled and it will not let you do anything until you dump it out so you constantly have to stop dump it out start stop dump it out start and then to clean it you have to dump it out you get halfway through it will say please empty tank so you have to do it fast because if you take too long to do it it will make you do all over again and then you basically just have to stand there until it’s finished

When it works it’s amazing, but has issues
First off we are absolutely in love with the concept of this product. And when it works it’s absolutely incredible. But we do have issues with it constantly saying the dirty water tank is full. Even during it’s cleaning cycle. Customer service is nearly unreachable and we have been trying for months to try to get ahold of them and finally they replied. They’re sending a new tank to see if that helps the issues. Hopefully this works.

Don’t EVER let the battery fully drain
The media could not be loaded. I have had this vacuum mop for 19 months. It was great until today. I have used it multiple times a week and loved all of its features. Let me tell you why I no longer love this vacuum. The vacuum inadvertently got knocked off its charger and the battery went to zero. Now it will not charge. It charges to 5 and then quickly ticks up to 100. This is a problem because the device now thinks it is charged, so it stops charging. But it isn’t charged. It will run for a minute and then the battery will quickly tick down to 80 and then to 0. When I put it back on the charger, the same thing happens with the charging as describe previously. I have tried all the online tricks I can to get it to charge correctly, but nothing is working. This is very disconcerting considering the price of the vacuum and the fact that I’ve had it less than two years. Of course the battery is internal and not replaceable. If you choose to purchase this, just don’t ever let it die fully. I have read multiple people saying they have this same problem with their Tineco vacuum mops when the battery drains.

Don’t do it!
I really wish I would have considered all of the negative Amazon reviews but I know people are more likely to complain so I ignored them! I’m not happy that I spent the money on this thing, I will stick to my $30 Swiffer. It smells so bad after a while, even if you clean it out. The maintenance for after each use is not worth it and it’s honestly disgusting. Take all the stuff you normally vacuum up and add water to it…. That’s what you have to clean out every time. The videos that show it mopping up cereal and food are complete BS! It does not do that!! The self cleaning cycle is a gimmick. You still have to thoroughly clean the machine after every use, including the roller. Because of the language barrier, customer service can be very tricky. I wouldn’t do it ….

Perfect for time saving
I have a very large house and vacuuming before mopping is out of the question. This machine not only saves time, my sister steals it. In my house you can see all dirt, foot prints etc. this machine cleans and leaves no streaks or squeaky feeling. It has been exactly a year. I have used customer service chat for a part and approve.

Works better than anything I have tried yet
I have tried various floor cleaners, powered and non-powered. This is by far the best. It does a good job cleaning the floors and it is easy to use. It is pretty light weight, maneuvers easily, and is not difficult to take apart and reassemble for cleaning. I wish I had purchased this sooner.

The IFloor 5 Breeze works awesome on my hard wood floors. I get great results without breaking my back. Easy setup, can do a large amount of space without need to recharge or refill the water/ soap tank, or dump the dirty water tank. It’s scary how much dirt it picks up when I dump the dirty water tank. The floor looks and feels clean when finished. Fast delivery, and well packaged.

I have a kobkenz scrubber which only washes so you need to extract; my McCullough steamer is great too but a lengthy process. Bought this so as not to spend hours doing my one story 21/2 room tiled floor. After vacuuming thoroughly because I have 2 small dogs, I use this machine. My thought was to work less and I do BUT, the machine doesn’t put out enough water/cleaner in my opinion. Yes it extracts and yields dirty water and some dog hair as well, I just don’t see it as clean as expected. I now try to clean twice a week since it leaves a bit of residue and I’m not satisfied. If I used the higher more powerful mode then it doesn’t last as long. In the end it cleans with less effort but no WOW effect.

Works well, if you don’t have pets or hair
Overall, the vacuum/mop works good. If you have anything sticky on the floor you may have to go over it a few times to really remove it. Vacuum does what it’s supposed to. My issue with it is that if you have pets (I have cats that like to fling their litter everywhere) or long hair (I lose hair like crazy, so it’s all over my apartment) then I feel like it struggles a bit. Plus, it makes it really hard to clean out, there’s always still hair stuck in the base even when you remove the water basin that holds the dirt and dirty water. And the cat litter sticks pretty bad to everything. I would return it but I’ve used it a few times now so it’s gunked up with my dirt and debris. Long story short, if you don’t have cats or an issue with hair being all over your apartment, then I think this will work well for you. And make sure to clean it after every use because if you don’t, it’s gets so smelly.

Best affordable Mop/Vacuum
The media could not be loaded. I use my tineco to vacuum and mop my entire house which consists of old hard wood floors and tile. I had a cheaper model and it did the job but I decided to take a chance on a nicer one. It is such a game changer knowing how much battery I have left (battery seems to last an entire house worth of cleaning which for me includes 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, the kitchen and living room) and to know when there are extra dirty spots. It self cleans and is so easy to charge on its dock. It has amazing suction and is very powerful. I find the noise level is great considering the performance level this thing has! Also super lightweight and cordless which allows me to clean so much faster without the hassle of running over a cord and having to unplug to get to the entire house. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Dirty water tank leaking
I used this tineco every single day I replaced it with my O-cedar mop. Today I was using my tineco and the dirty water tank was leaking. I just noticed the issue today. I used it yesterday and it was working fine. Today was a different story. I’ve only had this for 4 months. So sad I spent so much money on this product for it to only last 4 months.

Terrible Warranty, Beware!
Machine works great, untl it doesn’t. Customer service is very polite, but unhelpful. I spent over $400 for a combo machine, and used it less than 10 times before it broke. I notified Tineco in less than one year from the purchase date, well within their 2-year warranty period. I was asked to send back my machine for repair, they determined it was not repairable. I was offered a 20% refund or a refurbished machine. I opted for the refurbished machine (which comes with no additional warranty or guarantees, btw) because I could not purchase another machine for the offered refund of $115. They then stated they didn’t have a refurbished machine. They made a “special” offer of a 40% refund, or 10% off of a new machine. I’m not crazy enough to buy another Tineco, so I’m left with a loss of $250. It is my experience that if a machine fails within the warranty period, Tineco will not repair it. They do not offer a full refund. They do not offer a replacement. You will only get a small portion of the purchase price back. They definitely do not stand behind their warranty, which makes me believe they have a lot of issues with their products and it is not cost effective to warranty them.

Very Frustrating to use
My hope when I purchased the Tenaco, that I could use it to mop and suction. It is very frustrating that every time I use it, I am forced to empty the water catch multiple even though there is less than a 1/8 of an inch liquid in it. I am about to put it out for the garbage.
