I had been eyeing this machine for years after seeing it on social media. I couldn’t pull the trigger because it is expensive and the reviews were a bit mixed. When I saw it for sale with a steep discount during Prime day, I finally committed and I am so glad I did. I am a busy mom of 4 who just doesn’t have time to mop everyday (or week unfortunately). We have tile in the kitchen and hardwood floors where we eat. The kitchen tiles were NEVER clean. I sometimes steamed them twice in a row and then used a regular mop and the floors still didn’t pass the “paper towel” test. Enter Tineco. As soon as I charged it for the first time I did my tiled floors. I did 2 rounds just because I wanted to give the machine a fair shot on floors that never seemed to get clean. Oh my gosh, for the first time EVER there was no residue on a paper towel when I wiped the floor. None whatsoever. I’ve seen complaints about the battery but I have a 3600 sq ft house. I bought the combo (more in that later) which I think has a shorter battery life than the regular Tineco — I can still do my whole first floor before the battery even gets to 30%. I did my entire kitchen, eat in area, living room, dining room, and the first floor bathroom tonight and it was at 40%. I did have to clean the dirty water tank once and add fresh water but I don’t mind. I bought the combo — I wish I would have bought just the regular one. I have yet to use the hand vac and I honestly don’t think I ever will. I can just use our regular vacuum if I need to get into tight crevices. That is my only regret with this machine. Cleaning is a breeze. I had an issue the first time running the self clean — it kept telling me to clean the dirty water tank even though it was clean. I ended up just manually starting the self clean function and it worked like a charm. This machine saves me so much time and now my floors are clean. It takes not even 5 minutes to clean the machine when I’m done (wash the dirty water tank, the roller, wipe down the machine, etc) and that’s because I really want to take care of the machine. You probably don’t need to be as diligent as I am. I did notice it leaves slight streaking on my darker hardwood floors (nothing on my light hardwood). It is minimal and doesnt bother me whatsoever. All in all, I love this machine and so far I don’t regret this purchase whatsoever. I hope this review helps someone who may be contemplating!
I bought the machine three months ago. It is not working correctly. You have to put it on the charger to start the machine. I called the company they had me ship the machine back for repair receive the machine back with the same issue now they want to send me a refurbished machine! After spending almost $500 on a new machine, I have to except a refurbished machine. And they threaten you if you put a negative review.

Love my mop!
I had bought a different version of this mop and I absolutely loved it. But after a couple weeks I knew I would prefer a mop with bigger tanks due to my home being a bigger size with lots of floor to clean up. I gave the other mop to a friend that has difficulty physically scrubbing her floor. She loved it. Her sister and mom are getting one as well now. I love I do not have to vacuum prior to mopping. This leaves no soapy residue on my floor. The self cleaner for the roller is a wonderful extra. I like the button you can push if you need a bit of extra water. The size of the mop head is great for getting under kitchen chairs or stools without moving them. I use my mop at least every other day. It is very easy to rinse out and clean. I cannot think of one negative thing to say about my mop. I wish I had found it sooner.

Not a charging base!
I wanted to like this as much as my original! I had that one for 4 years with daily use, it finally died on me. I was sad but excited to “upgrade”. This was not an upgrade!!! It does not charge on the base. You have to plug it in from the back and to get a base charging one…is $600!?!?!!? It’s a definite return for me!

Poorly designed “smart” sensors
When it worked, it worked great. However, after about 5 months of regular use it has become completely unusable. The machine continuously shuts down and throws “Dirty water tank full” errors when the tank is only 5-10% full. The splashes from sucked up liquid keep hitting the metal sensor that tells the machine that tank is full, even during self-cleaning cycles. So, midway through every single self-cleaning cycle, the machine will error out and I have to open it up and wipe down / dry all the sensors. I eventually covered the sensors with duct tape which solved the problem for about 10 min but the errors started coming back (I suspect moisture made its way through the tape). Seems like a fatal design flaw for something that is meant to suck up liquid.

1.5 yr update
I purchased mine in Jan 2023. I have 5 cats and love to be outdoors, and never take off my shoes on my tile. I make mine work. I’ve definitely got my money out of it. I love my Tineco. Two weeks ago, It gave me the error “restart your appliance.” I did all the trouble shooting, emailed the company, and they provided a shipping label to mail to a nearby technician. It was a week turn around. Works perfect again. I had trouble creating a box to fit the machine to mail it back, so PRO TIP! , KEEP YOUR BOX. I was within the 2 year warranty so it was covered. TINECO has a customer for life. I was really hating mopping without it while it was being fixed. I do wish they made more coarse brushes to switch out the standard Rollers.

I researched which wet dry floor cleaner I wanted. I Watched you tube reviews for days. Read all the reviews here on it. I couldn’t decide between this Tineco floor 5 breeze or the Bissell Crosswave Max, I have all real hardwood floors, not fake. I finally decided that I would get this Tineco even though it was more expensive. WHAT A MISTAKE! Fisrt off I ordered it and it didn’t come for5 days even with Amazon Prime. I couldn’t wait for it to arrive and was so excited to clean my floors with it. BUTTTTT. low and behold I take it out of the box, plug it in to charge it. Loved seeing the flashing blue circle, UNTIL 3 min later when it stopped flashing. I read the manual and it said after it was fully charged the blue circle light would be solid for 5 minutes. So I unplugged it replugged it and that beautiful flashing blue circle light was back, for 3 minutes. I unplugged it and replugged it 6 times, everytime it did the same thing. I thought maybe it was the outlet, so I moved it to another outlet. The same thing happened! At this point I was very frustrated. I had 2 other plugs that were exactly the same so I tried both of them . Same thing happened after3 minutes it stopped . I then took the Tineco plug and used it for another battery that needed charging, in the original outlet I tried the first time. 2hrs later my battery was charged, mind you this was not the Tineco battery but it was the Tineco plug, which told me it wasn’t the plug it was the Tineco unit itself! I remember reading another review in which the same thing happened. 🤔 I finally decided I’m not dealing with this. Thank God I got it on Amazon and it was returnable. But I had to box it back up and let me tell you that took over 2hrs. Mind you I love puzzles and do them daily, but getting it back in it’s box was such a hassle, it gave me a headache but I persevered! Now I have to take it to the UPS store which isn’t a big deal it’s 2miles away, Amazon did say that I may not get my refund for 30days as Tineco has to inspect it to make sure I didn’t destroy it, and I may not get all my money back! WT&??? Needless to say I ordered the Bissell Crosswave max and it will be here tomorrow! I’m glad this machine is working for others but it failed for me. I hope this review helps.

Dead machine less than year
Such an expensive piece of crud. I was not a frequent user in the first few months had it but then tried doing weekly cleanings and within. Few months machine started dying after about 10 minutes of light use and got worse from there. Tried all the fixes the company said to do and even ones other users suggested.

It’s okay, not great.
My main complaint with this product is that the dirty and clean water reservoir is too small and in order to get decent cleaning you have to run it on max mode so it only lasts maybe a few minutes before I have to empty the dirty water and add more clean water. Next issue is that this doesn’t clean the floor any better than my robot vacuum that has a built in mop. I got this for deep cleaning or extended cleaning jobs and really this has only benefited me for spot cleaning and I think a swiffer would be a lot more convenient for that. If they had a different brush that was more abrasive this might actually work well. Overall the hassle of using this thing outweighs the benefits in my opinion. I have a X10 pro Omni that I paid 680 for and it cleans my whole house autonomously every day aside from that just spot clean with a swiffer and call it a day.

This product was a great purchase because I tell the difference of cleaning from mops to this. You can definitely tell how clean the place can be. The only thing I wished for if the battery life lasted a little longer but besides that it is a great product.

Broken

Great vac and mop!!
I love my Tineco, especially with two dogs, one of which sheds a lot of hair. It’s incredibly easy to vacuum and mop simultaneously, and it’s so satisfying to rinse out the container and see all the dirt it picked up. It handles mopping and vacuuming effortlessly, adjusts its power when needed, and is simple to clean and recharge.

Terrible upgrade!
Went from the 2 series to this. Battery dead within 30 minutes. Told me the tank was full when there was no dirty water. Also told me to self clean and it didn’t even run for 5 minutes. Took me 3 times as long to do the floors as it kept shutting off. Returning it for something else 👎🏼

Dont waste your money
I have had the product for awhile now, I have always used their solution and I have changed out the rollers religiously. here is what you have to know, if something happens customer service will not be of much use. They will also tell you, you can send it in for repairs BUT and I quote “You might not get it back, we scrap them if we cannot fix it. I cannot believe I wasted all this money, save yourself the issue buy from a different company.

Breaks within 1 year
I bought this item 2 times and within one year it broke down not for deep cleaning there is constant oder and even worms found within the machine which is disgusting, and the machine needs you to clean its self every 2 minutes where all the dirty water and gross bits of crumbs and dirt is found in the dirty water tank if you don’t clean then the machine automatically stops working and that’s when the Oder starts to break out EVERY ONE TO TWO MINUTES this happens when I first bought this I thought it was the particular machine so I returned it and bought another one however within a years and a half this time it’s broke again I need to constantly clean the machine my self and it doesn’t even mop the floor well!! Tentaco floor sweeper.
I bought this about a year ago. before that I always swept my floor with a bucket of water cleaning supply and a mop since I bought this, I have used a mop very little because after I had used a mop and I decided to use this right after a lot more dirt Came off from my floors. My floors are much much cleaner with using these vacuum cleaner, I would say if you have back pains after mopping your floor with a regular mop, you need to buy one of these things. I no longer have back pain after sweeping. And my floors are a lot cleaner. Every household lady should have one of these if there was 10 stars I would review 10 stars. And if you are wondering if you can use regular cleaning supplies in this machine you absolutely can just don’t put too much in there because it forms a lot a little cleaning supply goes along way. I like the smell of Pine-Sol or Fabuloso so I mix this cleaning with Pine-Sol or Fabuloso. Then my house is much cleaner and also smells really nice and clean😁

Trouble with contact point in dirty water tank.
I love this vacuum when it works for about one minute or less until it announces “dirty water tank full” when it isn’t. I end up spending more time trying to clean and dry the contact points of the dirty water tank than if I had washed the floors by hand. Because I’m as busy as we all are, I’m outside of the warranty or replacement despite the item never having worked properly.

By far the best thing I have bought for my girlfriend. She LOVES it! There isn’t anything it doesn’t clean and leave perfect and even those hard to reach areas are tackled by the hand held vaccuum. We use it constantly on our apartment floors since they are all vinyl.

Annoying product
This product does an okay job at cleaning but the dirty water tank and voice features annoy me to no end. Even after just emptying and rinsing the tank I still get “dirty water tank full” and the machine shuts down. It’s a neverending game of emptying an ounce of water from the tank and seeing if it’ll finally work. The voice feedback seems to have no rhyme or reason and always instructs to do a self clean after the machine has been fully cleaned and placed on charger. The edge clean is meh, suction is not as good as the earlier models and the voice and tank sensors make me want to yeet it from a very tall building.

Complete ripoff – be aware
Bought this machine in Feb. I’ve used it less than half a dozen times to clean my floors and it died. I used it ONLY to clean floors after they were vacuumed and cleaned with a mop – the machine only had to put out cleaner and then suck it back up. Nothing else. I will say it did a great job cleaning the floors. Better than any other method I’ve ever tried. So A+ for that. I reached out to customer service to see what was wrong. They responded quickly and offered to ship it back to them for repairs. I tried to reason with them that this shouldn’t happen in only 90 days. They were friendly about it but said there wasn’t anything they could do. Overall I’d say stay away from this thing and the brand. A $500 machine should work every time and last more than 90 days. There are other options out there that provide better return/replacement options. Too much of a hassle to deal with this.

We’ve had this one at our house for over a year and it works great. To test it we cleaned our floors and walked around with white socks and they stayed clean. It saves you a lot of time and it actually cleans unlike the disposable mop sheets.

Doesn’t clean floors
I have owned this product for over a year. I was super excited at first. But after using it a few times. I noticed it really doesn’t clean my floors. I have tile and Luxury vinyl plank floors throughout my house. I find myself reaching for my mop and bucket more often than not. I have to go over the same “dirty” spot on my floor 10-20 times just to get it clean. I also don’t like the fact that you aren’t supposed to use any other floor cleaner in it. The cleaner that comes with it doesn’t have a pleasant odor. For $500 I was expecting clean floors. I am going to look into returning it. I’m guessing I am way past return date though. Don’t waste your money!

Doesn’t work
I wish I just spent the extra money and got a Bissell. I need this to use like 2 days ago, got it shipped on time but it doesn’t work. I changed it for over 24 hours and it only turns on for a few seconds then turns off. It’s going to be so hard to exchange it and I can’t clean my floors when I needed too.

I love this mop
Can you love a mop? Yes. This mop is an indispensable member of my cleaning arsenal. I love how clean it gets my floors. It’s self propelled, self cleaning, it talks to me. It does a phenomenal job on my tile. The charge lasts plenty of time to do my tile areas. The tank does fill pretty quick but I think that’s the case with any stick mop style like this. Don’t hesitate if you’re on the fence. It’s amazing.

Many error messages about dirty water tank being full when it is not
When it works, it is great. Cordless allows free range of cleaning. Easy to use, fast, effecient, good suction power. Cleans up dry and wet messes great. However, it is constantly giving the error “Dirty water tank full”, which prevents you from using the machine to clean and from completing a self clean cycle. It will give me this error message when the tank is empty, right after emptying, and when there is barely any fluid in the container. It is very frustrating and hinders the cleaning process.
