Bought this back in summer 2021 and it worked great. And then about 2 1/2 years later, it wouldn’t charge any longer. Tried troubleshooting by cleaning the contacts on the base and mop with isopropyl alcohol, nope, tried abrasive brush, nope, replaced the plug, nope. It’s dead. Maybe replace the battery is left? Probably rated it a 4 after purchase and a 1 since this didn’t last very long and apparently inability to charge is not uncommon. More uncommon is it is unrecoverable. My second bad Tineco product (top ranked vacuum based on CR did not vacuum well at all) and I’m done with them. They look good, though.

If I had written this review when we received the wet vac, it would have been five stars, but they do not hold up and customer service is a joke. We received this for Christmas two years ago, but it was purchased for us by my parents the end of that November. We started having issues with it the beginning of this November. We thought it was just having issues charging or there was something stuck, but then it would only turn on for a few seconds before shutting off. We tried contacting customer service, and they kept saying the same thing of try a different outlet, turn off and on, etc. It then started turning itself on and off by itself. By that time, customer service said we were past our two-year warranty. When looking for solutions online, multiple people reported similar issues. We are convinced they are made to last for exactly two years and than give out as soon their warranty is up. They should last for more than two years for their cost.

Totally Unreliable
Before you even consider buying this product you should read and believe the public complaints about how the unit barely survives the warranty period. In my case, 2 months after the warranty expiration, the unit suction motors failed. After spending hours online trying to find a resolution, A ran across several dozens of people with the exact same failure. If you plan to buy a new one of these every year or two, then it’s a pretty decent machine. In my case, though, I cannot justify spending $250 per year to buy a new floor cleaner.

Tineco does not stand behind products
Product worked fine until it stopped charging consistently. Customer support was notified of the issue well within the warranty period but because the problem was not resolved and continued beyond the warranty, they no longer offered any solution that did not involve paying for repairs or a discount on a new device. Way too much money to spend on a vacuum that did not last despite extremely light use. Do not recommend.

I am in love. I bought this on black Friday for an amazing deal, and I am still in love with this machine. I have 3 dogs and 1 cat, with hardwood floors. And they love to play, shed, bring in dirt and water-every.day. I most likely use this every two days, and yes, the battery life isn’t the best, but that’s not what’s important to me, efficiency and cleaniness is.

Just unboxed my new wet vac only to find that it was used and had someone else’s nasty hair and dirt inside. The roll was clearly packed up wet because it smells like mildew. Not a great unboxing for how much it costs. Not cool.

Failed product and customer support run around!
1. Been on the phone and sending picture and emails and copies of receipts for over three weeks. 2. After sending in my nonworking S3 (broken hose, see picture) and waiting almost two weeks for it to be repaired, my S3 came back without any work done and without any explanation. 3. After I send in a, “what the heck email,” Tineco is now asking for my broken S3 to be sent in again and that they will only provide a refurbished machine as the model S3 is no longer available. All that said, the machine worked well when it worked. But to have a hose break like that is a manufacturing defect and is probably why the S3 is no longer in production.

Love this mop vac!
I was skeptical at first, I had seen the reviews all over social media and was still hesitant to get it. I was able to watch it and grabbed it on sale before Christmas. I’ve never been so pleased with a purchase in my life! We took it on our RV camping trip over the holiday and it was a life saver! First cleaning out of the box it managed to cleanup the floor after an 18 pack of eggs fell out of the fridge on the drive over to the park. Then we had to fight the red clay that was consistently being tracked in by kiddos and pups. Finally it made pack up and clean day soooooo much better! My sister even borrowed it for her 5th wheel and it literally changed the color of her floors (she didn’t realize that it had gotten that dirty, bc her mop was just moving the dirt around!). So if you have LVP, linoleum or any kid of hard surface floor and need something to help you stay on top of the mess from dogs, kids and significant others then this is the tool for you! Even at full price it’s WELL worth the purchase!

Just got this out of the box today and couldn’t wait to test this on floors that have been mopped twice in the last 2 days. Wow! I couldn’t believe how dirty the water was! This just goes to show the usual (spin) mop and bucket doesn’t really get the floors clean (and I changed the water frequently). The liquid cleaning solution that comes with this smells decent. Not overpowering. Makes me excited to clean the rest of the floors in the house lol Let’s see how this holds up!

Lasted less than a year. Customer support will not understand English and will not respond. I sent it back to get repaired and it came back missing parts and broken. Too much technology for this piece of junk. Save your money and buy a better known brand.

Easy to use
We have three kids and two dogs. Our floors constantly have a layer of mud and dust. No amount of mopping will help unless you stub on your hands and knees, which takes time that is already stretched for us. This was so easy to use and clean most of the floor with just one pass, for the areas that are extra dirty it took two or three slow passes and it was clean as new! So happy with this, very easy to clean the parts when done using as well! Highly recommend.

We installed LVP and were looking for a way to keep it clean. Not only does this product clean the floor it gets up loose pieces of food or dirt! It’s a great purchase! The Tineco ironically breaks RIGHT AFTER the 2 year warranty. I Called Tineco and they told me I have to pay over 100$ for me to send in and get it fixed. That’s a quarter of the price! Everything is made cheaply nowadays! Stay away from this brand!!

Motor stopped working
The motor stopped working just outside the 2 year warranty window. All they could offer me is what’s on sale already or 10% a full price. Oh. OR $106 return fee to have service look at it and ship it back, but there’s no guarantee they could repair it… especially with it being the motor. I’m super bummer and will not be repurchasing.

I bought 4 of these amazing little floor cleaners. Got one for myself loved it so much got all 3 of my kids one for Christmas. 1 of them didn’t work straight out of the box. Customer service was great & promptly replaced it. Then after a year my sons stopped working he didn’t realize it had 2 year warranty. Mine started putting out too much water right before my warranty expired. Once again customer service was great. Unfortunately right after warranty expired both of my daughters started putting out too much water as well. So apparently it’s a reoccurring problem . For a product to cost close to 500$ I expect it to last longer than a few months to a couple of years at most .

The media could not be loaded. One of the worst investment ever 😒 this thing is so awful and this review is after 1 year of using it. It won’t charge unless I’m standing there holding it up. It’s spewing out water and pick up anything good. This company should be ashamed of selling something so awful and customer service is horrible. I will never buy anything from them again.

Turn it on and it goes off after 3 seconds. Quick YouTube search will show you that this happens to all of them, then you get to become an engineer to try to fix it. There are better brands

I actually like mopping now
I’m a guy, and I hate cleaning. This machine has been a game-changer for me. It’s simple and easy to use, and it does a good job. We thought the vinyl floors in one part of our recently bought house would have to be replaced. I previously mopped them several times with a regular mop and one of those rotating electric ones, and they just always looked dingy. When I got this device I mopped it 3 times and it was still pulling up grime. Now the floors actually look and feel nice. I didn’t realize how dirty the floors were. Every time I use this thing I’m shocked at how dirty the water is after such a short time between mopping. Cons: The water tank is a little small on the model I got but not a big issue to be honest. FYI: Don’t lift it off the ground while it’s still on, it will fling dirty water around.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE AND WARRANTY SERVICE
The unit has 2 year warranty and Tinco has been unable to repair this, and they send it back each time unrepaired. What is the meaning of this? Shameful

Nice tool that can mop (not scrub) floors. It does not leave any residue even in the most difficult cleaning floors. I use it on wood and tile!

Piece of garbage
Absolute piece of garbage. Keeps failing every couple months with me manually repairing it over the phone with them, finally stopped working completely 3 months over the warranty period and they won’t take it in to repair unless I pay almost the price of a new one and shipping to send it in. There are other brands, don’t buy this one!

Poor Quality. Good while it lasts.
I have had 2 of these Tineco cordless vacuum and washers. Using the firdt one1-2 times per week over a year the battery life severly degraded and components had to be glued back on and replaced. I really liked this vacuum. Very effective and easy to use. Ended up getting a 2nd one. But in less than a year i had to start salvaging parts between them to keep them running. The charger stands have difficulty making contact, they need to be tilted backwards to the charger pins can connect well. Now both of the vaccume tubes that go from the roller into the catch tank have cracked. Making them totally unusable. I wasnt rough on this product or even used it heavily/often. I will definetly get another wet vaccume from another brand with bettering term quality.

Best vacuum mop!
I’ve purchased two of these now- one for myself and one for my parents because it has made life so much easier to mop the floor rather than using a traditional mop bucket and scrubbing. It makes the water management so much easier and you probably save a ton on water bill alone. TIPS: For people who have issues with mold you are supposed to empty the dirty water, rinse and let it air dry before placing the container back into the vacuum! Same with the brush! I’ve never had any weird smells or leaking. Don’t leave the charger plugged into the vacuum when it’s done charging to save your battery life (:

Easy and efficient
Busy family with 3 kids. Not living the influencer lifestyle. This vac/mop is great! Easy to use and truly gets our floors clean. It’s not a ‘deep’ clean, so a regular mop may be needed now and then, but this has been a great investment.

Do not buy – broke 1 month after warranty period
My machine quit performing the self clean cycle so I called customer service. They said it was a motor issue and I was 1 month past the warranty period (warranty period is 2yrs) so it would cost me $120 to fix. Looking online this is a common issue and it’s also common to break just over the 2 yr mark. Buyer beware!

Quite a pleasant surprise
I hardly ever write product reviews, but this deserves one. What a great little product! Our son and his wife ordered one of these awhile back, and he raved about it to us. So I ordered one. Before it arrived today, we had vacuumed and then dust-mopped our tile and hardwood downstairs. After the unit charged up, we ran it over our newly “cleaned” floors. Wow. Three changes of really dirty water, quite a bit of dog hair (we have two boys) picked up. We were amazed (and a little disgusted). If you have hard floors, it is definitely worth looking into this floor washer.

Stopped working
I bought this a few years ago. The product stopped working and I am non longer able to use it. I contacted the company who has horrible customer service and they asked me to give them my bank information and all my other personal information in order to get a partial refund. Not a good product or company.

First the clean water reservoir broke. After replacing, it just stopped working at 7 months after purchase. It’s too expensive for it to have such a short lifespan

I was so excited to get this! I used it no more than five times and it won’t work at all. It won’t hold a charge or stay on. Now I have to try and return it or figure out how to get it fixed. I am so bummed out! I would not buy this again!! I don’t want to even give it a single star.
