Best vacuum I’ve ever had!
This is my third shark vacuum. I am impressed by the suction power of this vacuum. However, it is very difficult to push on my longer carpet. I have adjusted the suction power to the lowest setting and still struggle. It also pushes around object that’s aren’t imbedded into the carpet. It won’t pick up cheerios, Barbie shoes, raisins or items of similar size. Because of that I would not recommend it to anyone with children.

You could find a better Vaccum
I find myself going over a spot then turning around and it’s still dirty every time I use it so I just get mad when I’m vacuuming. For $200 I would expect more out of a vacuum but it does ok and I can’t box everything back up and send it back so it’s staying. It is sturdy, not too heavy, the suction is too much majority of the time so it can be hard to vacuum carpet but you can change the suction on the side. The lowest suction can still be too much sometimes so it won’t even really Vaccum majority of the carpets in my house.

Not My Favorite
By far, it is NOT my favorite. I thought I was ordering NEW (I’m sure I did) in which this one may be a refurbished one. The accessory holder seems to have NO area to attach it to. One place looks like the area but it looks broken. It’s not as user friendly as other vacuums I have owned and I’m pretty disappointed in the overall functionality of it. Too bad it’s a lot of trouble to send it back or it would be in the mail tomorrow.

Don’t waste your money – Worst vacuum I have ever purchased
If I could give the Shark Navigator zero stars, I definitely would!!! I purchased the Shark Navigator for my son’s 550 sq. ft. apartment in February 2024. I have owned Shark Rotator vacuums for several years, and they have been great for our family home. I very mistakenly thought that Shark’s less expensive Navigator would do the job for my son’s small apartment. Boy was I wrong!! The only positive thing I have to say about it is that it arrived on time. It needn’t have bothered. The suction is terrible on hard surfaces and non-existent on carpeted surfaces. There is no point to the larger capacity canister, as the vacuum picks up nothing. We have thrown the Shark Navigator away, and begrudgingly bought a Shark Rotator. I strongly urge buyers to beware on this one!!!

The reviews for this said that the suction was nice and strong on this vacuum, but I had the opposite experience. It struggled with picking up any dust or dog hair on hard wood floors as well as low pile rugs. On top of the fact that it’s extremely cheaply made, like a children’s toy, I plan to return this vacuum ASAP.

Does not work on shag carpet
We have a shag area rug in our living and we cannot push the Shark Vacuum on the carpet even on the less suction setting. Our cleaning lady requested it, she can only use it in certain directions, I do not feel it gets the carpet clean. She likes it in the kitchen and hardwood floor. I use our older vacuum.

This thing sucks, LITERALLY. Such a great buy. Had a cordless vacuum that did ok. After getting annoyed that it wouldn’t pick up random fibers very well, I purchased this. And man does it work.

Not good for someone with back issues.
It is not very user friendly for someone who has back issues. You have to bend down to turn it on and the switch from hard surface to carpet which interrupts the flow of vacuuming. You have to bend even further to release the handle to use the long hose and you need to use two hands to do so. And you have to use two hands to remove the tank to empty it and two hands to reattach it. It would be nice if it had a light. Our last Shark had a light not only on the main head but also on the attachment hose as well. It would make things easier if the on/off and floor/carpet switch was on the handle like our last Shark.

A little heavy
Vacuumed yesterday with a year old Bissell. Vacuumed today with a new Shark Navigator. Pic is what’s left in my carpet from the Bissell that the Shark picked up. Spent alittle more on this than I normally would but glad I did. The only con is it’s a bit heavy.

Works for me tile floors!
I have a Chihuahua and a cat. Both leave a hair trail. I am recently widowed, and the chores are all mine to do, so I was needing something easier than a broom. Received yesterday, assembly today,band tried out…it worked beautifully! Hopefully my days of pet “glitter” are over! Thank you, and as a teacher, I appreciated the sale price!

Holy cow!!
We have 3 cats, hardwood floors and carpet. I use a Dyson cordless most of the time because it’s just hardwood and rugs downstairs but carpet everywhere else. I also have a corded vacuum for my deep cleans, which i did the day before I got my Shark. I am not exaggerating when I say that I turned it on, and it jet propelled forward about 8′, AND ALREADY HAD A HUGE HAIRBALL IN THE CANISTER. I literally just…turned it on. Insane. Couldn’t wait to do the whole house and it was very satisfying and disgusting. It is heavier than my other vacuums, but it’s worth it if you have pets. The fact that it’s powerful enough to propel itself forward makes it a lot easier to maneuver. It’s got a nice long cord so I could actually do the whole staircase in one go. I usually have to plug in to two diff outlets. I’m loving it!!!

Well built
I like the weight of the vacuum which helps in bringing the nap of the carpet up,so you know its pulling out the debris. It’s very easy to maneuver around obstacles, you can feel the beater bar brush pulling the vacuum as it moves forward. The dust is captured in the bin and is quite visual so you know when it’s getting full. Dust cup has to hinged latches that make its removal a snap. The attachments snap on the vacuum cleaner. The crevice tool is short which defeats the idea to clean deep areas and the upholstery attachment was not to my liking. All in all though I am very pleased with my new vacuum cleaner.

Lasted 6 weeks
This vacuum was awesome for about a month. After the return window, of course, it has stopped having good suction. If I have to use a Swiffer after I vacuum now, what’s the point. I would’ve given it 1 star but for the month it was the best vacuum I’ve had, just wish it worked.

I’ve had a shark lift a way for a very long time and absolutely loved it. Got this one and it is not appear to be quality meaning it, to me, I don’t think it will last long. The attachments are horrible. At first I was not worried about the attachments because I had them from my old vacuum. These do not fit previous lift a ways. Do disappointed.

Great vacuum
Bought this vacuum as a first time home owner. It is great, great suction and cleaning power, it’s easy to empty, and it is so strong while suctioning that it basically moves across the carpet for you. I use it for carpet and hardwood floor with no problems. I have also used it to clean out my car!

“Self Cleaning” has limits
First off, this vacuum works better than any others I’ve tried. The power is impressive and leaves nothing behind. The only issue is that long hair still leads to the brush getting clogged, and will actually stop turning when there’s enough build up. Once I dissect the unit and remove the hair, it’s good to go again. I’ve only had to do it once in the year we’ve had it, but can see how it would be more frequent for those who may need to vacuum often.

Not as good as the red shark lift away
This vacume is clumsy and hard to use the attachments. Also if you want to vacume under the bed you can take the cannister off but then the brush roll doesn’t work. All in all it does have a good suction when only vacuming plain flat carpet. Otherwise it is hard to use.

This vacuum does not work well. It is leaving some kind of dust like particles as it picks up. I have always love shark & boast about it is the best. This one seems to be some rebuilt item, maybe not new. I have the warranty I hope that they can replace it.

Does NOT roll on carpet
This is the worst vacuum ever! I have several other Shark products that I love so I bought this one thinking it was going to be just as great. After we realized that this was not going to work we tried calling Shark themselves and they are unwilling to help at all. Bad experience all around. DO NOT buy this vacuum.

If you have pets, this is the vacuum you never knew you needed. This thing will pull up dust and hair from your house and your neighbors house all at the same time. It also provides you with cleaning ASMR. Be warned it can become an obsession because you won’t believe that all of that came from your rug. Just trust me on this

Great vacuum
I understand why there are so many high reviews. I was able to easily put the vacuum together. I was puzzled why it was so difficult to push but then realized it was because the suction was so good. Even after using my old vacuum, the amount of dirt and hair this machine pulled out of my area rug was shocking. I absolutely love this machine! It was easy to assemble, easy to use and easy to empty! Would give this vacuum 10 stars if I could!

Little disappointed
I “upgraded” from a different shark vacuum. This vacuum does have great suction, but my other vacuum has a no hair wrap bristle and l am disappointed this version does not have that.

Huge Disappointment
I was excited to get this vacuum because I had previously had a shark for 7 years, it was wonderful. This shark however has a huge let down and I will be having to replace it already. The major issue is that it doesn’t not move on carpet which is the main place I need to vacuum. It rolls fine on the hard wood. We’ve tried every setting, it just doesn’t want to roll on carpet and hand vacuuming the carpets is not practical or what I paid for.

Easy to put together out of the box. Great suction and maneuverability. The only thing that would make this purchase better would be to have a brush attachment included and for the nozzle not to have such a bulky handle otherwise I’m extremely happy with my purchase. This blows my other vacuum cleaner out of the water on the first time I vacuumed. I had a full canister in under five minutes. Amazing.

Motor Died Just Under a Year
Loved the design. Easy to use and lightweight. Cleaned the filters as recommended and despite this the vacuum motor burnt out after 11 months of use. We don’t even have a lot of carpet. Just a small patch in the living room.

Good suction but has flaws
The media could not be loaded. This vacuum is very loud! It was easy to put together. Seems to have very good suction and is easy to maneuver. Picked up alot of dust/debris. Lift away feature is nice. It’s lightweight. There is only one spot to hold the attachments tho so the other one you have to put on top or keep off. They fell off within a few minutes of vacuuming. The cord is not nearly as long as I thought it was and doesn’t even reach fully to my back bedrooms of my house. Even when adjusting the section it seemed to have a lot of trouble on my shag rug. The power button and canister are very lower to the ground which causes me to have to bend over to turn on or off or adjust for hard floor to carpet. Overall I think I expected more from this vacuum. I’ve been using sharks for many years. This one’s definitely not my favorite and I think I’ll be returning.

Does its job but hard to push
It works well, picks up anything in its path. As someone with fibromyalgia and arthritis, it is nearly unusable due to how difficult it is to push, and it’s very heavy. I literally dread having to vacuum with this beast. I wanted to send it back and get another oreck, but the box was destroyed. But it does what it’s meant to do.

Excellent Product
Without exception, this is the strongest vacuum I have ever owned and I highly recommend. I only have one area rug and it looked brand new after the first pass. And it is strong enough to pick up dust bunnies not directly under the nozzle. The only concern I have is that it is very heavy (I believe about 14 pounds) which makes it a little less easy to use for this senior citizen. It is a great vacuum, however.

Love Shark Vacuums
This is my third Shark vacuum cleaner and I got it to replace an older one that had broken hose part that could not be repaired, although the motor worked fine. I really like the suction power of Shark vacuums and the versatility that comes with them. My first Shark vacuum I gave to my mom since I wanted to upgrade to the next model. My second model worked well up until a few weeks ago when the hose attaches to the body of the container broke and I would need to replace the whole body unit to fix it, so I bought a new Shark since it could not be fixed. This new one works well and feels a little bit heavier than my older models. I like the lift away feature so I can use it to clean the carpet on my steps. I have a lot of the accessories and I save them from all three of my Shark vacuums and they fit all of the models. The only negative about the Shark is when I take the hose attachment off to vacuum under my bed, the vacuume sometimes tips over and that is what caused the broken hose part to break on my older one. I like the convienence of washing the filters and not having to buy new ones or have to buy bags.
