This is my third shark vacuum. I am impressed by the suction power of this vacuum. However, it is very difficult to push on my longer carpet. I have adjusted the suction power to the lowest setting and still struggle. It also pushes around object that’s aren’t imbedded into the carpet. It won’t pick up cheerios, Barbie shoes, raisins or items of similar size. Because of that I would not recommend it to anyone with children.

I read the description of this vacuum and did not see any mention of it being refurbished. When I received it a label on the box said it was great it was getting a Second chance. This should have been in the description. I am sending it back

Switched over from a nightmare experience using Hoover products. But the Shark vacuum is of the best vacuum’s I’ve ever owned. Purchased four of these for our family. After a year of use, they all seem to be working well as long as they’re properly cleaned and maintained once in a while. Overall great value for your money.

I purchased this model after doing extensive research and after owning multiple shark vacuums. This one was poorly made. While the suction is fine , it’s heavy and harder to navigate. The hose on the side often somehow gets pulled out and it’s frustrating realizing you’ve been vacuuming with it out. I used it for a while but ended up purchasing a Dyson.

We have a thick area rug that has long pile. There is no height adjustment to adjust the brush up, and the suction is very strong. The vacuum attached itself with suction to the rug and neither my husband or myself could get it to move. Also the red warning light comes on. This vacuum is only for low pile rugs and bare floors.

I clean my canister after every use because I have three cats. I guess the design is not stellar because cat hair got stuck in tube. I removed it and the vacuum still won’t turn on. It may have burned out the motor. Only three months and I have to buy a new one.

I bought the quantum vacuum, used it 1 time, cleaned it, packed it up and returned it. I’ve always had a shark… wandered away (crazy!)…. Went back to shark. Nothing works as well as this little blue vacuum. I tell friends it vacuums so good that it’s sucking up basement dirt

I needed a small vacuum and this meets my needs. The attachments are not very good and it doesn’t come with a brush. It has reasonable suction power and does an above average job of pulling up carpet nap.

I really like this vacuum cleaner
Over the years, I have had several vacuum cleaners, but this is the first one that I really like! It is easy to move, picks up a lot of dirt and dust, and the collection canister is easy to empty. I was actually surprised to see how much dirt can be collected from just one pass over the carpeting. The vacuum cleaner glides over my plush living room carpeting, but I have difficulty pushing it on a thinner area rug, and that is my only criticism. Users should know that there are two vacuum settings, one for carpeting, and one for hard surfaces. It is easy to switch between the settings with just one click.

Works pretty good.
I have 2 dogs and 2 cats and this vacuum does a decent job of cleaning up all the hair. I do need to cut the hairs out of the roller and clean the filters often. It’s worth it for me for the price was right(I got it on sale). It’s definitely better than other cheaper vacuums I’ve had in the past even though it has its flaws. Overall it’s seems to be fairly durable even though people say sharks break down quick I haven’t had any problems as of yet.

Heavy!
Seems to work ok for the price, my complaint is that it is so heavy! Even carrying it up the stairs puts you out of breath! Cleaning wise on tile it doesn’t work as well as other vacuums. I don’t know that I would buy this vacuum again.

Great vacuum!
Powerful suction. WAY suckier than my last pet hair vacuum. I can hardly tell a German Shepherd lives here. The vacuum is lightweight to use, easy to switch from carpet to bare floor with a button, and actually works on the bare (tile) floor. The canister is easy to empty and it seems to be a durable vacuum. The upholstery attachment removes most of the dog hair from my couch, and it is easy to switch from hose to vacuum. My only complaint is the attachment doesn’t stay in a locked mode and slips off while I’m cleaning my large sectional. Not a deal breaker, just an annoyance while cleaning. A crevice tool would be helpful, too. Great upgrade for me and I woundn’t hesitate to buy Shark products in this price range again.

What a great vacuum. I’ve needed one for like 3 weeks and just finally order this and was delivered in 2 days. Used it for the first time and it was insane how much dirt came out. You can feel the suction. Big difference. Pics are from my masters bedroom. Rest of my place has hard wood. I’m sure it works well on floors as well.

Piece of junk
Bought it recently – already broke after a few uses. If you have pets that shed this is NOT the vacuum for you. The container clogs and isn’t easy to dispose of as well.

its very hard to push.
im 76 years old this is the hardest vacuum I’ve ever used. my old shark glided over the floor, to bad the hoses broke because it was so old. this one has the rubber roller and i think thats why it is so hard to push. if there was a way to raise it up it mite work better. if i would have known it was like this i would not have got this vacume. i will check to see if i can trade this one for a different one.

Not my favorite Shark
I always buy Shark vacuums, but this is my least favorite. It does NOT easily glide like the others. It actually takes some effort to vacuum a rug. The wand is not as long as the other models and the dirt collection bin gets really dirty easily and debris gets stuck in hard to get to areas. The suction is great, but the non-ease of use makes me miss my old model.
