This is my third shark vacuum. I am impressed by the suction power of this vacuum. However, it is very difficult to push on my longer carpet. I have adjusted the suction power to the lowest setting and still struggle. It also pushes around object that’s aren’t imbedded into the carpet. It won’t pick up cheerios, Barbie shoes, raisins or items of similar size. Because of that I would not recommend it to anyone with children.

Disappointed. The vacuum stopped working after one use. Emptied filter, took all apart to make sure no clogs, and it is spitting out dust (when it wants to turn on).

I’m really disappointed with this vacuum. Normally Shark products are terrific, but this one is flawed all the way through, especially considering what I paid for it. It cannot handle vacuuming my rugs, and the cord is very short. The brush head gets stuck on everything and jams constantly. I wouldn’t recommend purchasing it.

Low pile carpet ONLY
In general I love Shark vacuums. I have had many over the years. This particular version can only be used on very low pile carpets or hard floors. It’s impossible to vacuum regular carpet with it. The nap gets sucked in and you can’t when move the vacuum back and forth without significant strength… going back to my old shark vacuum…

I called Shark to ask why it was so HARD to push on very low inexpensive carpet? She watched me via video try to use it and told me “use on hard wood floor setting “. This was got because I have 4 cats and need deep vacuuming that doesn’t let hair get caught on roller. So I got no satisfaction. But the vacuum sits in the corner used only once, I hurt my back the first time I used it. Unable to use. So I wasted my Christmas money that year. Funny all my vacuums have been Shark. Any suggestions will help. Since I didn’t buy this year. I believe it was Christmas 2022.

READ IF you have multiple pets or everyday messes
I would say if you have multiple pets and mostly hardwood floors spend your money on a different vacuum or get the pet vacuum that shark makes. At first I loved this vacuum and thought it did a great job till I realized that any crumbs or small items were getting shot out instead of going through the vacuum. Also When going from flat surface mode to carpet mode it spits out anything you had just vacuumed up onto the carpet. Leaving a huge pile of hair and dirt on the carpet and having to constantly go over areas or use the hose to pick up whatever it spit out. If you have longer hair or a dog with long hair the hair wraps around the bottom as well. If you have mostly carpet or short rugs I would say this vacuum would be great for you since it does good on my carpeted room and that’s it.

I have two dogs and two cats and my son recommended this vacuum as he has animals as well. I noticed my Eureka wasn’t picking up as well as it used to so I ordered this Shark. My son promised me it would pick up pet hair and he was right! I used my old vacuum first on my living room rug and then used the Shark vacuum afterwards and could not believe how much more pet hair it picked up. I vacuum every day and this vacuum makes it a pleasure as it’s lightweight, quiet, easy to push, and easy to keep clean. Highly recommend!

First impressions are very good
I just replaced my Dyson24 with this Shark NV360 Navigator Lift-Away. It’s my first day of use but so far, so good. It was very easy to put together. Items I like: The length of the cord!! The lift-away is great for stairs and vacuuming out the couch. Suction is strong and can be reduced if desired. It’s much more maneuverable than I at first thought it would be. The body can lay flat to get under coffee tables while keeping the head flat on the floor. Things I wish were different or that it had: A light in the front. The curve of the handle makes vacuuming a couch awkward. The “wand” that’s part of the handle has pieces attached to it making it too clunky to get into small spaces. I guess I’ll have to purchase some accessories.

Great home vacuum
This is my third Shark home vacuum. All have been good, but this is the best of all. Lift away feature is improved, suction great as in all Shark vacs, and pet hair pick up efficiency is the best feature m, that we depend on the most.

Stops working after about a year
I’ve purchased this vacuum twice because I loved the suction and how well it initially picked up dog hair. I used it almost daily. However after both purchases the sweepers lost their suction after almost an exact year to date and is no longer functional. Our current one overheats as well. I wish they’d hold up a bit longer than a year.

Major disappointment / scam??
It looked compact and had positive reviews, so I bought with confidence. As I used it, I was frustrated because it kept falling over! No matter how I tried to work with it— different positions, pulling gently on the hose, it kept falling over! Now— after struggling with it 3 times (only!), it has just stopped. Ok, maybe something is stuck, but I feel like sticking it somewhere!

This is my second shark vacuum cleaner. the old one was about 10 years old and works great, but one of the attachments broke and the manufacturer does not make this model any more. Bought this model from Amazon, after reviewing comments in other retailers. The assembly was very easy. the vacuum works great. Suction is amazing.

Great suction
The suction is so powerful that at first the cleaning head wouldn’t move on my carpet. Then I realized (by actually reading the manual) that there’s an easy way to decrease the suction for high pile carpets. Seems like 5 stars but gave 4 only because I haven’t had it for long, need to see it stand the test of time.

Overall 3 STARS – BUT THERE ARE ISSUES!!
This vacuum had many great reviews, so I had great expectations. Sadly I ended up returning this vacuum. Here are MY PRO’s and CON’S. PRO’s….Beautiful color, GREAT SUCTION, LONG Cord and Vac Hose, Easy to LIFT-OFF, Nice SWIVEL. Does a good job on bare floors. CONS…Large Dust Cup is NOT LARGE CAPACITY. There is an inner plastic cup that takes up most of the room – this creates a problem with PET HAIR. The suction is fantastic for picking up the hair- BUT the hair gets trapped around the inner and outer cup and is a PAIN to empty. I had to manually pull out the hair. I also had to empty more often than my previous Vac. UGH! It’s truly a terrible design flaw- especially if you have pets. THERE IS NO CARPET HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT and NO SELF PROPULSION. You can pick Carpet or Bare Floor. My carpet is not a deep pile, but this vacuum was hard to push around and it made the swivel head a bit difficult to control. The vacuum is not unreasonably heavy, but the tremndous suction and lack of carpet height selection and/or self propulsion was a problem for me. My house is on the small side, but it was a workout to vacuum my floors. NO HEADLIGHT….not a huge problem, but prefer to have one. Not crazy about the TOOL HOLDER- it’s a bit awkard in its location- though not sure where else it could be placed. (see image of the full vacuum) The vacuum has a SMALL VACUUM HEAD. This means I had to make double the passes on my carpet in order to vacuum the entire area. BOTTOM LINE: For the price, I expected much better. MAIN ISSUES were the DUST CUP CAPACITY combined with the PET HAIR ISSUE…and the lack of a CARPET HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT which made it difficult to push. Other issues would have been sufferable, if the main issues did not exist. Though it did not workout for me, it might be a great vac for those with small apartments or smaller homes with NO PETS.

Best vacuum ever!
This is the best vacuum I’ve ever used. Easy to maneuver, not very heavy, isn’t terribly loud, excellent suction. I first bought this vacuum back in 2015 and got nearly 9 great years out of it until it was inevitably time to replace it (nothing lasts forever…), and it was a no-brained to go with the same for the value and quality. Highly recommend!

Too sucky, it’s just turns off on all rugs.
I’m sure it would be great on hard floor, it is super sucky but it literally does not work on carpet it just immediately turns off cuz it tries to vacuum the whole carpet up. I’m sure it would be a great vacuum if they could figure out how to keep it on instead of just automatically shutting down and trying to suck the whole rug into it.

Buy an expensive shark or a cheap Walmart vacuum
The gasket on the dust cup is cheap foam instead of the rubber used on the higher end models. So much dust sticks to it that I have to wipe it down every time I vacuum or it blows dust out. The foam gasket is already deformed after less than six months. The cord is short, you can’t remove the brush roll without disassembly, and the power cord is short. The only thing this shark model has over a random cheap vacuum from Walmart is suction. All sharks have great suction. My recommendation is to either buy a $50 Walmart vacuum that would have a higher quality dust cup, or a higher end shark. My old shark was high quality all around and worth every penny.

This thing is a beast!
I own two dogs, and I also have been a subscriber to the country’s leading consumer magazine for several decades. I purchased this vacuum because it was recently reviewed to do an excellent job of cleaning carpet, bare floors, and dealing with pet hair. But, it was given the lowest review in the category of “Handling”. They are not kidding. Let me tell you what I do for a living: I am a metal fabricator in a welding shop. I am being very serious when I tell you that the manual pallet jack at work it often easier to maneuver than this vacuum. I am going to keep this unit because I am a healthy grown adult who lifts/moves objects well over 100 lbs. every single day at my job, and my first priority is the best cleaning performance possible. But if you have any physical limitations, I do NOT recommend this unit! I am honestly amazed that there are not more reviews describing how much effort it takes to manhandle this thing! (BTW, I did read the manual, and adjusted the suction as instructed. That helped a little, but not that much.)

Great vacuum, but small container
A great vacuum and it sucks really well. I have six dogs and half of them shed like crazy. It is really good at getting up the dog hair however you have to dump the dust cup or whatever you call the part that collects all of your dirt and stuff from the floor ALOT! I don’t vacuum everyday but even vacuuming twice a week I have to go over everything more than once because I have to empty the cup so much I want to make sure I don’t miss anything. Overall it is a great vacuum it will stop the roller when it gets stuck so you don’t break your vacuum which is great. It is also not super heavy so taking it upstairs isn’t a battle. The only reason not giving five stars is due to having to dump the dust bucket so much because it’s kind of small.

I expected more of Shark
This vacuum is powerful and I love how it runs, but after a year and a few months the hose has broken. When I buy a good quality vacuum such as this, I would expect it to last. I called Shark customer service and they helped me purchase a new replacement hose, but I think it says a lot if the hose has already broken after one year of use. Things are not build to last anymore… I shouldn’t hVe to buy a new hose after 1 year of use.

Used the vacuum for 5 months and the head snapped off.
Used the vacuum for 5 months for standard household use and one day the “knuckle” that connects the head to the rest of the vacuum broke off. Called Shark and they said it was not covered under warranty as it is a consumable part. I bought the vacuum for roughly $200 and the power head is $71.98 with $15.99 shipping. Absolute piece of garbage. Horrible warranty. DON’T BUT IT!

Great power and suction, lackluster features.
Fantastic suction. The first time running it I was honestly appalled at the dust and dirt it was able to get out of a plush carpet. We had a Bissell before that looking back feels like it was only picking up the surface dog hair. Be warned thought it’s very difficult to see but the dust bin is not an easy one button release. It does come with two clamps that must be unlatched every time the bin is to be emptied. Also, you will notice if you read the entire description, but this vacuum does not come with a light. One final note the attachments are subpar and the vacuum does not have enough spots to store the attachments leaving you the awkwardness of keeping vacuum attachments in a cupboard or drawer.

Best arm workout I’ve had in awhile!
The suction is wonderful and nice cord length, you have to wind it on pole to keep it out of your way,but I like it much better than my Bissell xwave. This pic is just my frt room and doorway, and I had vacumned 2 days ago! I have 2 small short-haired indoor dogs too. I did have to sit a bit to rest, as I got winded from the arms workout I got from it, but I need it anyways! Lol…so I love it!! I had a Shark nitro for over 5yrs and it was great too, till hubby used it on a construction cleanup, lol. Thank you Shark!

Too hard to push
I have a variety of flooring. Works great and easy to push back and forth on hard wood and no pile carpet. EXTREMELY hard to maneuver on thick carpet. I have to use both hands to pull/push it over the carpet. It does NOT self propel on thick carpet. I would return but I used it. I will have to give it away to someone with no pile carpet. I will say it has great suction and cleaning ability. It takes way too much effort so I would not recommend to anyone
