I read the reviews and decided to still get the product. Just like the other reviews said this product was noisy which i didn’t mind. It also was a problem connecting to the wifi. I called tech support and got it done. But the 1 problem i had that wasn’t expecting was with the charging. I set it to vacuum every other day but it died after 1 hour of cleaning although it was docked for almost 48 hours. I will pay attention to the charging and return it if that happens again.

Faulty charging and a Horrible App
Summary: Wouldnt recomment at all for the price. The roomba stops being able to charge very often, and i have to unscrew the bottom and take out the battery and put it back in, sometime multiple times until it works again. The issue happens A LOT and sometimes takes up to 20 mins to solve each time. What happens is it stops charging and keeps beeping for you to charge it, but it doesnt work until you reboot the entire thing multiple times. The app is also hard to work with and generally doesnt work. While it looks nice it never properly connects to my roomba and i can never control or see the status of my roomba from my phone, even though that is promised. Ive reset it multiple times and even connecting the roomba to the app is a pain. Honestly such a big disappointment from whats supposed to be a great company with quality products.

The Roomba is unable to complete the cleaning cycle. It is constantly getting stuck on area rugs (sending messages that it has fallen off a cliff. This rug is not even a super plush rug, just a basic living area rug. The Roomba slams into walls and furniture leaving chip marks. Also, during the cleaning cycle the Roomba finds itself stuck under the sofa. I am constantly relocating and starting over. These issues occur every time I try to run a cycle. Very disappointed in product. Am upset I missed the return date by 7 days. Will not purchase again or recommend product.

The media could not be loaded. I Love my Roomba. First let me say that I did not have unrealistically high expectations. This is the cheaper basic roomba. She roams around freely and picks up a lot but obviously not every single grain of dirt. Roomba does not replace me sweeping and mopping weekly but she does help a lot throughout the week keeping the house tidy in between cleaning days. She doesn’t make it back home always and needs to be picked up/redirected but overall she is a great helper for the price and I don’t mind giving her a hand when she needs it.

It’s cool but…
It’s more of a pain than helpful, to me. After it’s first use, it looked like it had been through a war. It’s all scuffed from bumping into things, to map out the areas. It got stuck in the same place multiple times (so we had to be there to block it so it wouldn’t go back, everytime it was in that room). When you send it home, it doesn’t go right away. It keeps going for another 5-10 minutes. I’d eventually just turn it off, pick it up and dock it. It had problems docking. I’d have to wait for it to Decide to dock, then sit and wait and hold the stock charging station. It was a gift and it’s a cool idea but jot practical for me. I could physically vacuum in less time. Plus having to dump and clean the brushes after every use (due to its small size) is a pain.

This device worked great but then within the last month or so it will not charge at the charging station. We purchased it in Feb 2023. We have cleaned the metal connection spots of the device and the charging station. Cannot do anything with this piece of junk as the return date has passed. Do not buy.

This model does a pretty good job with bare floors and very low rug/carpet. I know the unit is supposed to go all over the place and “map” the space, but it seems to handle one are just fine on one day and then struggle the next day. It really has trouble with carpet over 1/4″ tall, and gets stuck in/on, around, and behind obstacles easily. I’d rather spend a day driving it around with a remote and just not move my furniture so it could cover all of the space every time.

Purchased a 692 and bun kept falling off. Returned and then purchased a 694 and the issues now are the main wheel fell off and the the side brush broke a month in the game. Manufacturer is responding in sending me the part this time but next time the sie wheel is consumable and i need to pay for something that broke 1-2 months. Hasn’t even been a month and it started giving me Error Code 14
I haven’t even owned it a full month before it started giving me Error Code 14, which means it can’t detect the bin. I followed the instructions; cleaned the bin multiple times, rebooted the robot, and it only works for a couple of minutes before it stops again. Dad joke aside this vacuum does a great job picking up a lot of dirt and dust daily. Is pretty good about finding its way home. It will get stuck if there is loose stuff on the ground but that is going to happen if a robot vacuum is robotting around and happens upon a loose thing on the ground. As a human, I try to give the robot a clear floor, but like clockwork, the cats somehow figure out a way to get their toys in the path and that will jam it. Think cats in general are conspiring against these robarts. 4/5 for noise. I feel like my roomba is louder than most roombas that I have seen and heard in action. Maybe it’s just this particular model. Maybe it is a defect. Maybe my hearing has improved.

Not a smart vacuum
I would recommend finding a different option. This vacuum would thinks it’s near a cliff when it transitions from hardwood to carpet and get stuck. This vacuum runs in a random pattern with no rhyme or reason and I did somewhat realize that before I bought it but once you see it run you will be annoyed. This vacuum is terrible loud. I returned this vacuum after a week of giving it a chance to maybe get smarter as it ran but no luck. I’m going back to a Roborock as my last one was fantastic.

Disappointing Purchase
This was a very disappointing purchase. Just missed the window for return (it was yesterday) or it would be heading back. Does not return to charging pad correctly, so battery is never charged. Runs the same circles regardless of programming. Runs over top of light dirt and does not pick it up. Very disappointed in this product.

Dumbest thing I ever bought, I regret spending every penny on this. The thing not only does not remember where it gets stuck, the next time it goes right for it. The most glaring flaw in the Roomba 694 is its unreliable Wi-Fi connectivity. Despite numerous attempts to connect it to my home network, the robot vacuum frequently loses connection, disrupting its scheduled cleaning routines and rendering the app-controlled features useless. The frustration of having to reset the connection repeatedly negates the convenience promised by the Wi-Fi capabilities. The volume emitted by this model is noticeably disruptive, making it less suitable for use during quiet hours or when occupants are at home. The vacuum seems to struggle with covering all areas, often missing repeatedly going over the same area without achieving a satisfactory result.

Terrible Customer Service
The media could not be loaded. Terrible customer service!! It started with an Error 6 (battery problem). I was sent a new battery which I replaced. Then the robot started but it just went in circles and gave Error 10. I called again and was told now it’s the Right Wheel not working. Was sent a Right Wheel which I had to replaced myself and the robot keeps going in circles or moves just a couple of inches then goes in circles again. Now I called and am told I need to send it in for repair. I bought this thing in September 2023. Started having issues in December. I submitted the ticket at the beginning of January. We are now in February and I still don’t have a working robot and now I have to wait for info to send it to repairs and who knows how long that will be. I’m very upset and wished I hadn’t bought this product to begin with!!! I was expecting a replacement after two tries of attempted corrections not working. Not reliable and customer service is a hassle.

It gets the job done. Just don’t watch it. It goes super close to messes and then turns around and goes somewhere else. It’s infuriating if you keep watching it. Ignore it and it’ll get the job done eventually. Not the best on carpet/low pile rugs. Would only recommend for hardwood floors.

The media could not be loaded. I love this little guy. The app makes it fun to own and you can name them. My friend names her Clean LaTifa ! Mine is Jerry! So have fun! Charge first. 90 minutes of power! Cleans great! I’m surprised how gross the floors were. I can’t vacuum since my ankle surgery so this is worth every penny to never have to deal with cords and large vacuums taking up space ever again. Say, “Bye Felicia!” To your old vacuum and “Jerry, get a job!” lol

Good for dog hair on tile floor. But gets stuck often.
We have a pretty simple floorplan, all tile floor and average furniture. This thing is pretty good at picking up dog hair. It’s fun to be able to start it via the internet when we’re not there. But as often as not, it gets stuck on some throw rug or electrical cord or just can’t work it’s way out of a corner it drove into. It’s pretty much a novelty that sometimes helps. When a really good thorough vacuum is needed the conventional vacuum does a better job and a lot quicker.

This was a cute little vacuum, easy to download app & set up, & it went back to its dock without issue. It picked up hair and dirt on the ground but not as well as I expected. We have cats so we have fur on the ground. It picked that up but it didn’t pick up all the dust it went over. I followed the robot w our dyson w the green laser that lights up all the stuff on the ground and noticed that the robot simply didn’t pick up all of the dust. It would also not pick up all pieces of cat litter. This wasn’t the deal breaker though as it picked up enough off the ground to be a little bit of a help. The biggest annoyance was that this thing horribly loud but it’s not quiet at all and it just goes around and bumps into things, it doesn’t follow any sort of pattern to ensure the entire room is vacuumed. I locked it in a small bedroom for almost an hour and there were still areas that hadn’t been vacuumed. I’d definitely buy a quieter vacuum that follows a pattern in the future to reduce the trauma to our cats.

Great basic roomba
I just moved into an approximately 1,000 square foot apartment with concrete floors, and this model works great for keeping it clean. I haven’t been able to get the app to connect to the roomba and work, but I don’t mind too much just coming home and pressing the button. I was worried about it being random instead of having mapping, but it does surprisingly well cleaning all over the apartment despite sometimes getting caught up in certain areas. It cleans very well, gets all the litter and shedding fur my cats leave everywhere. Whenever I empty the tank I clean and remove hair from the brushes to try and maintain it. Overall, I’m very happy with this as my first robot vacuum.

I bought this about a year ago, and all three of the pieces broke off of the ball that flings the dirt into the center. It’s still gets stuck on the top of my steps and stops with an error. I have to constantly restart it.

Pretty good vacuum robot, but really mid grade at best
Has decent suction and does a pretty good job on carpet and tile, but you need to run it regularly because it’s for sure not a deep cleaner. That said, it’s easy to empty/clean, and returns home without help. Chargers up well and vacuum for close to 2 hours before charging. Overall, I’m satisfied for the price

Very good cleaner
Coming from a Eufy, this is bigger and LOUDER. It’s twice as fast, seems to get twice as much, but is twice as loud, and due to its height, doesn’t fit under our couch. Still, does a great job. Don’t expect it (or any robovac) to replace actual elbow grease, but lord running it every couple days gets up a LOT, especially with kids and/or pets in the house. Got it used for half the retail price, 100% the way to go.

Programo al robot para que limpie en la mañana cuando ya no hay nadie en casa y en la noche antes que vuelva mi marido a casa, y ya en la noche nomas paso yo el trapeador para que huela rico, me encanta que aparte de dejar la casa super limpia pasa por lugares los cuales yo normalmente no limpio con la escoba, como abajo de las camas, abajo del sillón, abajo de los muebles grandes, etc. no lo piensen mucho y cómprenlo! Vale la pena:)

The irobot cleaner worked for only the first 2 runs and then had an error about dust bin, I tried to clear, clean do what I can. Nothing worked, sending it back. For a brand new product, very disappointed

Good enough
Love my roomba, saves me lots of time. I have a dog and a cat so floor is always dirty. The roomba allows me to have one less thing on my mind. While I’m at work it cleans the house for me. My only problem is lately it’s been getting caught and stuck on everything. I’ll be at work and get a notification that it’s “stuck on a cliff” when really it’s just caught somewhere. I clear the floor before I leave everytime to make sure that doesn’t happen. But it is still a great tool for the price and helps a lot.

Does not use 5gz wifi
I received this as a Christmas gift and was so happy to finally get a robot. After attempting to connect to WiFi many many times with no success. I spent hours of research to find out this model does not use 5gz wifi. Only 2.4. So if you do not have an option to pick from on your system, you will need to upgrade to a more expensive model. Unfortunately the cheapest one we found that will do both is over $400. So I hope this helps someone out with their troubleshooting issues. I went to the iRobot website to find which models worked for my situation.

Really good cleaning BUT
It’s kinda tall and get stuck on the bottom of chairs unlike the EUFY I have. I would not recommend over the EUFY.

We have tried everything thing to get it to charge but it will not charge. Only have used it about 10 times for 30 minutes at a time. We tried cleaning it as videos suggested but nothing works. Save your money

Does not pick up cat fur from carpets.
Doesn’t do a good job on carpets and hallway runners. I still have to use my regular vacuum to finish the jobs. Does good on hardwood and laminates.

Not super impressed
SUPER loud. Seemed to get lost and take forever to get back to the base. Pretty big and bulky, but this is our first robot vacuum so will have to try others.
