I had been eyeing this machine for years after seeing it on social media. I couldn’t pull the trigger because it is expensive and the reviews were a bit mixed. When I saw it for sale with a steep discount during Prime day, I finally committed and I am so glad I did. I am a busy mom of 4 who just doesn’t have time to mop everyday (or week unfortunately). We have tile in the kitchen and hardwood floors where we eat. The kitchen tiles were NEVER clean. I sometimes steamed them twice in a row and then used a regular mop and the floors still didn’t pass the “paper towel” test. Enter Tineco. As soon as I charged it for the first time I did my tiled floors. I did 2 rounds just because I wanted to give the machine a fair shot on floors that never seemed to get clean. Oh my gosh, for the first time EVER there was no residue on a paper towel when I wiped the floor. None whatsoever. I’ve seen complaints about the battery but I have a 3600 sq ft house. I bought the combo (more in that later) which I think has a shorter battery life than the regular Tineco — I can still do my whole first floor before the battery even gets to 30%. I did my entire kitchen, eat in area, living room, dining room, and the first floor bathroom tonight and it was at 40%. I did have to clean the dirty water tank once and add fresh water but I don’t mind. I bought the combo — I wish I would have bought just the regular one. I have yet to use the hand vac and I honestly don’t think I ever will. I can just use our regular vacuum if I need to get into tight crevices. That is my only regret with this machine. Cleaning is a breeze. I had an issue the first time running the self clean — it kept telling me to clean the dirty water tank even though it was clean. I ended up just manually starting the self clean function and it worked like a charm. This machine saves me so much time and now my floors are clean. It takes not even 5 minutes to clean the machine when I’m done (wash the dirty water tank, the roller, wipe down the machine, etc) and that’s because I really want to take care of the machine. You probably don’t need to be as diligent as I am. I did notice it leaves slight streaking on my darker hardwood floors (nothing on my light hardwood). It is minimal and doesnt bother me whatsoever. All in all, I love this machine and so far I don’t regret this purchase whatsoever. I hope this review helps someone who may be contemplating!
I bought the machine three months ago. It is not working correctly. You have to put it on the charger to start the machine. I called the company they had me ship the machine back for repair receive the machine back with the same issue now they want to send me a refurbished machine! After spending almost $500 on a new machine, I have to except a refurbished machine. And they threaten you if you put a negative review.

Excellent wood floor cleaning machine
I’ve only used my Tineco S5 Pro twice so I can’t comment on its long term dependability but the machine functions beautifully. It runs for about 10 minutes before needing to empty the dirty water, but I’m able to clean a large area in that time. The battery lasts for about 4 cycles of water change, and I’m able to clean my entire first floor which is about 1200 square feet. The machine cleans well and there’s virtually no water left on the floor. In the past I cleaned my floors by hand on my hands and knees. The job took hours and was physically very demanding. The Tineco machine is a huge time saver and does a great job.

Cleans the floor well. Expected a better clean for how much a spent. The real reason I gave it 3 stars was the smell. I have scrubbed it in and out and all the parts and it stinks every time I use it. It has been going on for the last 2 months and nothing will make it go away. Very disappointing after spending $300 +
It’s not been a year. And my tineco has offically quit working. It started to give us these issues around 3 months after purchasing. Now here we are 10 months sinc purchasing. And our machine refuses to clean. It states the dirty water tank is full and it’s in fact clean and dry. I have tried powering on and off yet nothing will reset it. I have put it on charging base and it will not self clean anymore because of the “dirty water tank full”. I would really like to get it replaced or something. I spent good money and had high hopes.

The media could not be loaded. I used this one time and fell in love with how well it worked. The second time I went to use it, it started spewing water and will not suck it up. The machine battery died less than a year
Do NOT waste your money on it! I am reviewing this this vacuum mop machine after several months using it. I strongly suggest do NOT buy it. The battery run low very fast after 3 months. I can’t finished 1 room then the battery died. After 1o months used , the machine died completely in Nov I contacted with their service team for help. I got reply by a company outside the US. Tineco makes a good unit EXCEPT FOR THE BATTERY! Hey Tineco – you know, to have a good cordless unit you have to have quality battery right??? Well your battery sucks! There are countless people posting about bad batteries that don’t last but a few minutes or only charge part way (ours only charges to 20% and then stops) and then doesn’t charge further. What a waste of an otherwise fine unit! FIX YOUR BATTERIES, AND GIVE CURRENT OWNERS FREE BATTERY REPLACEMENTS!!!!

I love everything about this vacuum. It’s easy, it works great and I don’t mind the chore now! I love that I have an extra roller. When I am finished and it’s all clean, I fill up the tank and put the dry roller on and I am ready for the next run! My floors have never looked so good!

I have been searching for a vaccum/mop for a while now. I’m a mom of 2. Youngest 6 months and work full time with 2 big dogs. A lab and Rottweiler. Was looking for something that was effective and would help me clean more efficiently. First time using this the battery life I sware goes down by every 2 seconds. I would have 80% 5 minutes later it would be dead. You have to do a cleaning cycle in between and it takes hours to fully charge again. I have a 2 story home with just a small amount of hardwood. All downstairs and it’s taken me 5 hours to try to mop! On top of keeping a toddler and baby entertained. Very disappointed especially paying a pretty penny for something I was hoping to be efficient and effective. Will be returning talk about false hope!

It’s a tiny step above a Swiffer for $300+
If you’re going to get an electric cordless mop, and have dogs/kids, and want to use it for both light and heavy duty mopping, look elsewhere. This is not the one to get for the price. It’s ok for quick cleanup. However, if you have a heavy debris it doesn’t get the job done and you still going to need to use a scrubber. It also doesn’t do a decent job on grout. You can’t adjust the amount of water it uses for stuck on food on the kitchen floor. It has 3 cleaning modes. The Max mode uses a little more water but not enough for your dog bolted past you into the house after playing in a mud puddle and runs a path away from you because they are playing keep away. It’s also not good at getting up dog hair for a dog with an undercoat (Husky). You literally have to take off the roller and pull out the hair. The self cleaning cycle doesn’t remove that from the roller head or suction channel. So you still have to vacuum before you mop unless you enjoy pulling wet dog hair out. Lastly, the voice commands are annoying and just for show. You can be literally doing what it starts telling you what to do. Example “Please clean dirty water tank” while you have the tank out and are cleaning it. The cooling fan is loud when it’s charging. In summary, I wished I had returned it.

Most of our house is hard flooring and this has cut my daily and weekly cleaning time significantly. I finally feel like my floors are always clean! Downside- during the self cleaning cycle, it constantly is saying the dirty water tank is full (when it’s nowhere near full) and I have to keep taking it off and putting it back on 2-3 times for it to continue the cleaning cycle. So I can’t just set it to self clean and walk away. Love love love this purchase though and it is worth every penny! (I did get a Black Friday price though 😊)

This is one of my favorite purchases! I spent plenty of time researching which would be the best for our new floors! I didn’t want to have to sweep and then mop and I didn’t want one that went by itself while I was home! I have two young kids and a pitbull so my house gets dirty quickly! This can stand up to an job! I don’t have to worry about picking anything up prior because it vacums it up and then mops! Last week my daughter spilt apple juice everywhere and this took care of it! There was no sticky residue left afterwards!

Bought it 2 months ago and i am ve4y pleased with it!!! I just bought a house and wanted something to help me clean the dust off the floor as it’s a new house (meaning was just built) the floors were very dusty and i didn’t wanted to sweep and the mop as I wasn’t gonna have much tim3 to do all that. And I suffered from back pain I bought this and let me tell you I DO NOT REGRET IT.. Just wish the battery would last a bit longer and didn’t have to refill the water tank every 10mns or so however its something i dnt mind that much. I’ve gotten used to it. It leaves my floors sooooo clean I had my family over for Thanksgiving and someone fell off the chair spilling her entire plate of food and drink all over the floor. I said no worries I got this I took out my Tineco and boom all cleaned in just a few secs I can finally walk with out my chanclas (sandals) on which I was never able to do so before. I recommend it 💯% $$ well spent

Leaving a ton of water behind, Not sucking properly
I was highly anticipating this product because I paid a lot of money for a washer and unfortunately it made more mess than it cleaned my house, leaving a trail of black dirty water had to wash my house after using it, for me its way too overpriced and not worth it.

Loved until it stopped working
This vacuum/mop was a huge game changer. Floors are my least favorite chore but with this tool I cleaned them all the time! My house looked great and that helps everything! Recently however, it will charge to 100%, yet when I use it, it drops to 0% within minutes and shuts off. This is so disappointing. Hoping customer service will be able to help out.

My cousin recommended this treasure a few months back when she bought hers, but I have tried so many vacuums that I had already lost hope. This Vacuum suctions at the same time it mops the floor. Dries really fast. I clean my whole house in about 15-20 minutes. Believe me, this is a game changer!!

Battery Life is Horrible
I am writing a review after almost 1 year of owning this. At first it was great, but now the battery is horrible. It’s such an expensive vacuum for the battery life. I could do approximately 1000 sq ft of house on one charge. Now, I can barely finish the kitchen. It drops from 40% battery to 0% instantly. Then while it’s charging you can’t clean the brush and water tank as it needs to charge (an if you forget it creates a very stinky dirty water tank). I would never buy this again and it was recommended by so many people.

Disappointed
It cleans the floor well but maintaining the vacuum and cleaning the parts are a huge downside for me. I didn’t clean it for a few days and it stunk like vomit. Now I’ll have to find another mop vacuum with easier maintenance. A busy mom doesn’t have time to clean all the parts every time.

A little overhyped
I wanted to love it but I’m glad I got it on sale. You pay extra for edge cleaning. Pics show that’s not the case. Still an inch from the wall. My dirty water tank wants to be cleaned when it’s only half full so every 10 minutes. It leaves streaks behind too. Not sure if it’s user error but I expected more. Works better on laminate than tile. I had enough battery to do my kitchen twice and the main hallway.

This has saved so much time and effort in keeping our house clean. One thing to note: it keeps saying “the cleaning effect is not good please replace brush roller” whenever I put it back on charger no matter what I do but it still works as it should. You can use other cleaning solutions in it as long as you dilute them with water the same

I’ve had this wet mop for a bit over a week and have used it everyday(I used to mop on a weekly basis at most, because of how tedious it normally can be). It’s so easy to use and clean. I was flabbergasted at how dirty the water was after the first use, I thought I was doing a decent job of moping before this. The floors look so great after a week. Really great product. Light weight and relatively quiet when running. Love the self cleaning system. I would, and have, recommended this to everyone.

We are used to swifer wet jet. This device takes things to a whole new level! Bought this on a Black Friday sale discount. Put it to work the moment we got it…was absolutely shocked at how much dirt it cleaned off our floor. Highly recommend device! Easy to use, can handle a decent battery charge and has great updates via voice. I contemplated getting a Bissell or this-so happy we got the Tineco!

I wanted to love this item because I had seen it around online, but it just seems ok. We have 2 kids so it sucks up and cleans the messes after meal time. We no longer have to spread a sheet underneath them to collect thrown food to try to keep the floor clean. Other than that, it is only ok. We have tile floor so it only surface cleans. Doesn’t seem like it makes a nice, solid wet trail and makes contact with every part of a flat surface either. My steam mop is way better in that respect. It would be better for wood or perfectly flat flooring in general. It doesn’t get any old messes up it cleans only new ones, so definitely clean right after a mess is made. It also doesn’t clean to any edges. When cleaning up to a cabinet or wall or beside it there is a good 2 inch gap of where the mop doesn’t cover at all. This is whether you try to hit it straight on or going sideways. You have to hand clean the area instead. Battery life is ok if you’re doing just one room or a small floor of a house at once. If you’re picking up a lot of big dirt items you have to clean and empty the tank partway through to keep going. There is a very small space at the top of the water tank where it all collects, and if it isn’t clear the mop doesn’t clean as well. Also, after use it will sometimes drop some dirty water on the floor when you turn it off. It’s happened enough to be a little annoying, and I don’t understand why it happens. The whole point is to clean the floor and not have to wipe where the mop was turned off. It’s easy to fill and the tank is easy to clean. We use it 3 times a day after meals so cleaning the tank every time is a little tedious. I also didn’t know that the mop was self propelling. It is heavy, so not having to push it around is nice, but you also have to be careful how you move it. I turned it too far accidentally and it started running away on its own so fast it ran over and got my toe pretty good. I don’t regret getting it necessarily, as I said it is good for our big messes, which there are a lot of. I just wonder what other brands are out there that might be better. The fact that it doesn’t clean up to an edge is very annoying to me, and frankly is a bit of a poor design. I feel like it’s too expensive for all the issues and limitations of the device.

Not worth the $ or frustration
I purchased the Tineco Smart Wet/Dry Vacuum for approx $500. This vacuum has been the worst purchase I’ve made for something so expensive. I have all wood and tile floors in my home (approx 1500 sq ft). Everytime I use this I have to stop at least 2 times to refill water tank, empty dirty water tank and then run a self cleaning cycle and the vacuum doesn’t have you do it all at the same time. When running the self cleaning cycle you are required to place the vacuum back on the charger. This is incredibly annoying to have to stop in the middle of cleaning floors to clean the vacuum. In addition, everytime I use it the parts have to all be washed and laid to dry out for at least 24 hours before it can be used again. Lastly, the 3 attachments – motor you remove for hand held vaccum, clean water tank and dirty water tank have all fallen off several times while in use even though I make sure the parts are secure before starting. I would not recommend this vacuum to anyone.

Incredible. I use it recreationally at this point. I had “stainmaster” vinyl planks installed and they were basically impossible to clean unless I was on my knees, scrubbing with a magic eraser. The Tineco took a while, but it cleaned my stupid tiles so well! And the dirty water tank and soapy water tank empty at about the same time (about halfway through the battery life) so it’s even convenient then. The battery only lasted through my kitchen/dining area with the awful tile, but the rest of the house can be done in one battery life. The self clean function is wonderful. I can’t recommend this machine more!

I cant say enough about this item. It’s smart. Senses everything such as knowing when to dispense solution, when to vacuum, when to spend extra time on an extremely dirty area and when to stop and self clean the roller. It also has a display on when to spend extra time on an area. It’s also very lightweight. I highly recommend this item, you won’t be disappointed.
