I had been eyeing this machine for years after seeing it on social media. I couldn’t pull the trigger because it is expensive and the reviews were a bit mixed. When I saw it for sale with a steep discount during Prime day, I finally committed and I am so glad I did. I am a busy mom of 4 who just doesn’t have time to mop everyday (or week unfortunately). We have tile in the kitchen and hardwood floors where we eat. The kitchen tiles were NEVER clean. I sometimes steamed them twice in a row and then used a regular mop and the floors still didn’t pass the “paper towel” test. Enter Tineco. As soon as I charged it for the first time I did my tiled floors. I did 2 rounds just because I wanted to give the machine a fair shot on floors that never seemed to get clean. Oh my gosh, for the first time EVER there was no residue on a paper towel when I wiped the floor. None whatsoever. I’ve seen complaints about the battery but I have a 3600 sq ft house. I bought the combo (more in that later) which I think has a shorter battery life than the regular Tineco — I can still do my whole first floor before the battery even gets to 30%. I did my entire kitchen, eat in area, living room, dining room, and the first floor bathroom tonight and it was at 40%. I did have to clean the dirty water tank once and add fresh water but I don’t mind. I bought the combo — I wish I would have bought just the regular one. I have yet to use the hand vac and I honestly don’t think I ever will. I can just use our regular vacuum if I need to get into tight crevices. That is my only regret with this machine. Cleaning is a breeze. I had an issue the first time running the self clean — it kept telling me to clean the dirty water tank even though it was clean. I ended up just manually starting the self clean function and it worked like a charm. This machine saves me so much time and now my floors are clean. It takes not even 5 minutes to clean the machine when I’m done (wash the dirty water tank, the roller, wipe down the machine, etc) and that’s because I really want to take care of the machine. You probably don’t need to be as diligent as I am. I did notice it leaves slight streaking on my darker hardwood floors (nothing on my light hardwood). It is minimal and doesnt bother me whatsoever. All in all, I love this machine and so far I don’t regret this purchase whatsoever. I hope this review helps someone who may be contemplating!
I bought the machine three months ago. It is not working correctly. You have to put it on the charger to start the machine. I called the company they had me ship the machine back for repair receive the machine back with the same issue now they want to send me a refurbished machine! After spending almost $500 on a new machine, I have to except a refurbished machine. And they threaten you if you put a negative review.

Makes it so easy to clean my floors. I bought the S5 pro 2 on a Black Friday deal. I love that it has a clean water tank and a dirty water tank so no more just pushing dirt around my floors. It’s amazing how dirty the water is after cleaning each time. I now can clean easily everyday if I want. Cleans well, simple to use, but NOT a powerful tool…
If you have lightly soiled hard floors, maybe a few loose messes here or there, this is a good product for a quick cleanup. Recent spills, messes, or general dirt, this can pick up the mess and leave behind a clean surface. BUT, if you have anything on the floor that wouldn’t come up from a quick paper towel wipe, (food that hardened, honey, dried spills no longer loose and liquid) this machine will NOT work well. It is not good at scrubbing, removing any liquids or foods that have dried onto the surface. If you plan to use this as a quick cleanup solution throughout the day, it’s a good tool but not worth the hefty price tag. If you (like me) plan to use this as an end of day cleanup of all messes to scrub, sanitize, and clean your floors, DO NOT purchase. It is not powerful enough to clean anything left to sit throughout the day, even on max mode. On max mode the battery life is poor, the water tank usage goes VERY quick, and you will find yourself emptying the dirty water tank and refilling the water/cleaning solution 3+ times in 15-20 minutes. Needs larger clean and dirty water tanks, more power for cleaning, and a larger battery. Even if the unit was heavier, it would be well worth the benefit.

Great time saver with minimal effort
We put our new Tineco to the test this morning and we love it! The unit talks to us and tells us what to do. There are also plenty of support videos on Amazon and the Tineco website. It took about 30 minutes to clean our kitchen, entryway and dining room tile floors. It was a joy to get it done without sore shoulders, back and arms. This product just quit working after just a few uses.
The product worked well for a few times, but then it just quit working. I contacted the seller and even though I had used the machine a total of less than 30 minutes, they would not replace the machine with a new machine. They kept offering me a free extra roller and a bottle of cleaning solution. Neither of these would be useful for a machine that does not work. They are sending me a return label which they are charging me $20 for and are supposed to give me a credit for $50 less than I gave for the machine once they receive the machine back. I am not sure how I am supposed to return the machine without any packing boxes. I am not happy with this company or with the faulty equipment that I received.

Life of a Tineco
I bought this to make like a little easier had used it about 6 times when I couldn’t get it to work any more it won’t light up. I can put on charger and it was commence charging but it won’t turn on or do any thing. Is there a replacement battery or what could be the problem with it.

Expensive but your time is worth it
I have no regrets buying this. I bought it when it first came out about 2 years ago. Cutting my time in half between vacuuming and mopping is such a relief. Especially with a newborn. The Ultra setting is also a huge plus when you have a crawling baby and toddler. It electrolyses the water to sanitize. It also has a suction mode which is great for mopping up spills before cleaning. A year in I had a problem with the appliance to charging. Customer service is just absolutely superb. They sent a free return label in order to box it and return it for maintenance. The service was very fast. I had it returned within 2 days after I dropped it off at the courier. Just recently I had the small plastic piece that supports the machine on the charging station break of. It still functioned when I taped it back on. But I got in touch with customer service and they shipped a new one free of charge. All in all I am very satisfied with the product performance and excellent customer service. I wish I can have the option to upgrade the mop head to the newer models.

I had bought this vacuum for the electrolyzed water feature. After receiving it I realized the clean water tank was not working as it should. I called Tineco and was told they were sending a replacement tank. Never received the confirmation email that it was shipped so I called back and was told they had no record of the conversation. It took 5 calls to customer service to be told it was out of stock and I had to ship the vacuum back. Their customer service is horrible to deal with.

Thias makes cleaning my hardwood floors so easy and quick! It’s also self-propelled, which I did not expect. I had no trouble putting it together. It used very little water and solution in the tank, so I think the 2 bottles of cleaning solution it came with will last me quite a while. If you’re on the fence, just get it.

The after about 6 month, it began leaving water on the floor…lots of water. Customer service, at that time, was great at attempting to be helpful, but weren’t. Their eventual answer was to send the machine back…every piece of it. So, I had to package up all of it in another box, because who saves boxes? Then, I waited. And waited. And waited. I contacted customer service several times over a three week period and was put off each time. Finally, after a month or so of asking, they said they’d “lost” my machine and would send me a “new one, meaning a repaired one. I waited several weeks more, and then it miraculously appeared. I was eager to get it out and get back to mopping. Did I mention that for the brief period of time I had it and it worked, it did a great job? But disappointment set in when I tried to charge the new machine on its base. No go, no matter how I put it onto the base. Back to customer service, who told me to try various ineffective things. Finally, their answer was…you guessed it, Send It Back! Nope. Fool me once, etc., etc. So it sits in my garage, waiting for the trash. I spent about $500 for the S5 combo, and it worked for six months. Customer service was always nice, but ultimately pointless. Don’t waste your money. I bought a Eufy robot vacuum/mop, and it’s doing fantastic. I’d pick up one of those instead. A total waste of money.

Beware – very poor customer service
Love my floor washer but ran into a problem with the prompts. Called customer service. My warranty was based on the ship date and not the day I received or registered the product. Guess what – the ship date was two weeks ago. No warranty available. So I can still use it, but it keeps telling me to clean the dirty water tank regardless of what I do. Here’s the kicker: Because they are so nice, they will waive the $100 shipping fee and I can return it for service, but if they can’t fix it, they will dispose of it. Meaning although I can use the machine as is (but it talks back to me), they will toss it and I will be out the purchase price/machine. So beware – this is an expensive machine. If you buy it as a gift, the warranty starts to run on the day it is shipped and not when received or gifted or registered. If you need service after the warranty expires, they reserve the right to toss it if they can’t fix it. We never got to the part about how much it might cost to fix it. Unfortunately, I have another Tineco at my summer home. Fortunately, the competition is starting to make comparable products. Will NEVER purchase again from this company.

Does a great job even with dog hair
The media could not be loaded. Wow, I’m so amazed (and disgusted) at how dirty the water was after I used this on my main level hardwood floors the first time. I had vacuumed and mopped 4 days prior (I mistakenly say 3 days in the video). It picked up all the dog hair and cleaned the floors beautifully. Took about 30 minutes and machine had 40% battery when finished. It did use the entire clean water tank so if I had to go longer I would have needed to refill. Only complaint is that there are no clear instructions on how to properly run a self clean cycle; the voice controls walk you through it but it could have been better explained in the manual. Overall a great buy and I’m glad I went with this instead of the Dyson Submarine.

The battary is not good.
After using it for two years, the battary only runs about 15 minutes when it is fully charged, which is not enough time to mop/clean even one floor of our house.

Terrible customer service and product
This is my second wet/dry mop from Tineco. I also own the carpet cleaner and stick vacuum. So obviously I liked the products… until this one arrived. This particular product is terrible and the customer service is worse. Made me jump through hoops to the schedule a return and then require stupid instructions on how to package to return. I was out of town and the shipping label expired so I wrote CS and said I need a new one as I was traveling for work. They said they would no longer exchange or return my $500 broken piece of junk that never worked. I will never buy this brand again after this.

Nice next generation of home cleaning but…
Good. I don’t know how I didn’t use this type of cleaning device before. It is awesome for my back. No more sweeping the floors. The only huge inconvenience is that the charge don’t last long. Actually I’m only able to clean 2 very small rooms with a full charge. This is not good at all. Either I purchase 2 of them, spend 2 days cleaning or finish the cleaning with the now much hated mop. Not good for me now that I know the next generation of cleaning. I would have given 5 stars but the battery issue kills it.

The product is easy to use and has a great suction. I use it on vinyl flooring and it cleans it up very well however, the battery life is pretty short. It takes about five hours to charge the battery to hundred percent but once you start using it, the battery drains below 10% within 30 to 45 minutes.

I actually really enjoyed this machine for its ease of use and portability. The product seemed well built. I bought this a year ago and up until about 3 weeks ago the battery would get me 25-40 minutes of cleaning time on the regular setting. All of a sudden the battery life has significantly dropped. Even with 100% charge, I get about 30 seconds to 1 minute of cleaning. Definitely feel that for $300 I should get more than one year of use out of a product like this.

Best thing ever
Where has this been all my life? This thing is literally a life saver. I have 4 dogs and a long haired cat. I no longer have to sweep and mop. This does both and with ease. It’s amazing picking up all the hair. I tested it by hand moping first and then using this. The amount of dirt it picked up off the floors even after moping first was crazy! I’d only have a couple suggestions that would make this even more amazing. 1. A bigger dirty eater reservoir and bigger water/solution tank. 2. Attachments to get into smaller places. 3. Be compatible with any cleaning solution. I haven’t found the solution anywhere locally and have to rely on ordering it off Amazon. But even that said, I highly recommend this! It’s worth every single penny.

My 2nd Tineco that’s failed after 1 year
I’m all about finding ways to keep my home clean in more manageable ways. The Tineco seemed like a dream product at first. I bought my original one about 3 years ago and that one failed almost to the day after the 1 year “warranty” mark. I was so disappointed because I had splurged on this machine and spent a lot of money. However, I went through my Chase Credit card services to activate my extended warranty. The funny thing is that in order to get that, you have to get a written estimate from someone who repairs robot vacuums. Yup, you guessed it….there is almost nobody around who repairs robotic vacuums. So, I lost all my money on that Tineco. Fast forward to last year when I stupidly made the mistake of ordering a newer model and hoping that my previous experience was just a fluke. It had worked flawlessly up until, yep 3 days after the 1 year mark. Now, I’m no conspiracy theorist at all, but it doesn’t seem like a coincidence that this one has failed as well. I am so frustrated and am simply writing this review to warn others to save their money. I highly recommend you stay away from this company. Clearly, there is something wrong with their product if it doesn’t last even a year past normal use.

Lots of problems
This vacuum/mop is amazing when it works. The problem is, that it doesn’t work for long. Within a year the battery will only last about 9-10 min. The canister errors and says it’s not attached when it is when stops it from functioning and the cleaning cycle will also stop working. All before the first year is up. Customer service is not good at all. You have to fight for repairs. I do not recommend this purchase. I have bought 2 and they both have issues.

Great for regular cleaning
I have been using this product for a year now. It has been a game changer in how I clean my house. It’s really good at regular cleaning of non-carpeted floors and the bathroom floor. The key to using this product correctly is to clean it after use. Don’t let the dirty water stay in the tank else it will smell and leave residue behind. Also clean regularly before things get too dirty. It can handle grime but you’ll have to clean that up from the machine afterwards. This machine has definitely made upkeep easier

So I’ve had Tineco vacuum mops now for over 4 years. This was an upgrade from my original entry level S3 which just stopped working. This vacuum when it worked was great. But not that it’s been over 2 years it refuses to charge. We’ve looked all over for solutions. And what everyone else has experienced based on Reddit and YouTube reviews, this vacuum has a charging issue. There is no need to have to pick up and put down a vacuum over 40 times to have it start charging. This is a $500 vacuum. This will be the last Tineco product I own. Good marketing for sure. Non reliable product. Choose wisely…

Not sure it’s worth the cost TBH
I was very excited to get this mop-vacuum, and initially I was very impressed. I could do a quick vacuum and mop quickly and effortlessly. I also liked that it didn’t leave large puddles of water. It was a good quick clean. Dislikes: after using it a handful of times, the rotating brush started smelling like mildew. This smell seemed to spread over my floors. I’m assuming it’s from having a wet mop brush sitting damp (from mopping or the self cleaning option) and not being able to dry completely. I’ve taken it off and cleaned it and allowed it to air dry, it still has a stink to it. I’ve now started taking the brush off after a clean so it can dry thoroughly. I’m not sure if there’s something I can do to correct this issue – but I’m willing to try something else because I don’t want to buy new mop brushes every other month.

Not a good machine
Buyers Beware DON’T waste your hard earned money on an expensive disposable product like a Tineco Vacuum Mop regardless of model. These machines are not built for the long haul. Once your 2 year warranty expires they’ll offer to fix it for $150, if it’s deemed unrepairable they dispose of the machine. Once the issues begin with the machine they only get worse. Better off buying a much cheaper Bissell vacuum mop. Unfortunately I’m stuck with a $500 piece of junk that won’t charge most of the time, leaks dirty water and will randomly stop running when the battery charge is at or below 70%. My daughters model lasted a total of 4 months before it began to smolder and had to be sent back for repair. Fake Technology, poor customer service and low quality product.

The adapter will not fit into the hole to charge. It’s just loose and falls out used it one time just received it yesterday. It went in the first time and after I use the machine, it won’t go back in and I and it’s useless. Is it a problem known to be with the adapter?

Vacuum and mop at the same time
I wasn’t sure about the Tineco iFLOOR 5 Breeze Complete, but was completely surprised by how well it worked on our tile and laminate floors. It is great at picking up pet fur and any other mess that might be lurking on your floors. Once the roller brush picks up messes, the scraper helps deposit them into the dirty water container; a mop simply pushes the dirt around. Operational run time is approximately 35 minutes per charge which isn’t too bad and much preferred over having to deal with a cord!

It was good while it lasted…
I was so happy when this thing was invented. I jumped on it and bought it right away taking a risk of it not having many reviews yet. It does not work anymore, it’s not as easy to keep clean, the battery wears out quickly, it malfunctions and tells me it needs new water when there is water in the tank. It is loud and annoying and stressful to clean with. I am sad so much of my money was wasted. 🙁

Broke the 3rd time I used it
The vacuum mop worked amazing the first 2 times I used it. The 3rd time I used it it was in high gear the whole time on red and shut down every 1-2 minutes saying to start self cleaning mode. I tried to reach out to Amazon for help and I was not helped with the return.
