I had been eyeing this machine for years after seeing it on social media. I couldn’t pull the trigger because it is expensive and the reviews were a bit mixed. When I saw it for sale with a steep discount during Prime day, I finally committed and I am so glad I did. I am a busy mom of 4 who just doesn’t have time to mop everyday (or week unfortunately). We have tile in the kitchen and hardwood floors where we eat. The kitchen tiles were NEVER clean. I sometimes steamed them twice in a row and then used a regular mop and the floors still didn’t pass the “paper towel” test. Enter Tineco. As soon as I charged it for the first time I did my tiled floors. I did 2 rounds just because I wanted to give the machine a fair shot on floors that never seemed to get clean. Oh my gosh, for the first time EVER there was no residue on a paper towel when I wiped the floor. None whatsoever. I’ve seen complaints about the battery but I have a 3600 sq ft house. I bought the combo (more in that later) which I think has a shorter battery life than the regular Tineco — I can still do my whole first floor before the battery even gets to 30%. I did my entire kitchen, eat in area, living room, dining room, and the first floor bathroom tonight and it was at 40%. I did have to clean the dirty water tank once and add fresh water but I don’t mind. I bought the combo — I wish I would have bought just the regular one. I have yet to use the hand vac and I honestly don’t think I ever will. I can just use our regular vacuum if I need to get into tight crevices. That is my only regret with this machine. Cleaning is a breeze. I had an issue the first time running the self clean — it kept telling me to clean the dirty water tank even though it was clean. I ended up just manually starting the self clean function and it worked like a charm. This machine saves me so much time and now my floors are clean. It takes not even 5 minutes to clean the machine when I’m done (wash the dirty water tank, the roller, wipe down the machine, etc) and that’s because I really want to take care of the machine. You probably don’t need to be as diligent as I am. I did notice it leaves slight streaking on my darker hardwood floors (nothing on my light hardwood). It is minimal and doesnt bother me whatsoever. All in all, I love this machine and so far I don’t regret this purchase whatsoever. I hope this review helps someone who may be contemplating!
I bought the machine three months ago. It is not working correctly. You have to put it on the charger to start the machine. I called the company they had me ship the machine back for repair receive the machine back with the same issue now they want to send me a refurbished machine! After spending almost $500 on a new machine, I have to except a refurbished machine. And they threaten you if you put a negative review.

I first loved this product. But then eventually it started grow molds in the clean water thank so I tossed it (it was really gross). Now I have an expensive vacuum/mop that I can’t use.

The reservoir finally broke after a year of use very cheap feeling- got stuck trying to pull it out and it broke. The filters don’t last that long, after 1 week of use they tend to get moldy- the rollers stink so you will have to wash them and let them air outside. The self clean just cleans the roller but it molds up after awhile.

A MUST Have
This is my second tineco. I had an older version that quit charging (possibly because it was in storage for about 1.5 years while we were building). I contact customer service about replacing but ultimately decided to replace with this one and it does not disappoint! Love the ease of cleaning my floors with this product. It is lightweight and gets up all the dirt. It is easy to clean just make sure to wash all components and let dry. I recommend this product to people all the time! You won’t be disappointed!

Find better
After owning this unit for about a year the vacuum attachment on it (the clip to hold it on) broke. I figured ok. It’s just over a year and out of warranty and could not find any way to contact anyone to get help so at least I still have the floor cleaner part. Well yesterday that part took a dump. It’s not even 2 years old and I paid over $400 for this unit. That’s over $200 a year that I got to use it. I would have been better off buying a cheap machine that would only work for a year. I recommend finding something that will last longer or is cheaper so when it quits working your not spending so much for the time you were able to use it. When it worked it did work great however I feel like I could buy a $100 machine and get the same results and even if it died after a year I’m not out as much money.

Disappointed with Quality—Failed Twice in Under 2 Years
I purchased the Tineco Floor ONE S5 Wet Dry Vacuum Cleaner in July 2022, expecting it to be a reliable, high-quality product given its $425 price tag and positive review. Unfortunately, my experience has been nothing short of frustrating. Within the first month, the vacuum stopped working entirely. I would turn it on, fully charged, and the battery would immediately drop from 100% to 0%, causing it to shut down. I reached out to Tineco for a warranty claim, and while they did repair it and send it back, the vacuum has now failed again in the exact same way—this time, less than two years later. For a product at this price point, I expect much better durability. This is simply unacceptable. I’ve now lost all confidence in Tineco and will not be purchasing from this brand again. If you’re considering this vacuum, I strongly encourage you to look elsewhere. My $100 Shark steam mop may have an annoying cord, but at least it turns on reliably!

Kept malfunctioning
After second use it would announce “clean water tank empty” when it was 3/4 full and then shut down. Sent back to company for repair. Upon return to me the machine still made the same announcement but would not shut down so I could continue to use it. When it came time to do the self cleaning it would make the same announcement and shut down. I returned it again for repair and when I got it back it was having the exact same problem as if nothing was done. Also it was covered in a lot of dust as if it had been sitting outdoors. Called the company and they said to send it back for repair again. By then I had lost confidence in their ability to repair my machine. I told them this and they offered me a “refurbished “ machine but I said I had paid for a new machine and expected one as a replacement. They were not willing to do this and offered me a 80% refund which I took because I was done dealing with this machine and company. And then I returned the machine for a third time!

I love this thing!
It saves me so much time being able to use this and easily vacuum up a little bit of dog hair or crumbs, etc., off the floor. And it mopped at the same time! I still use my big bulky vacuum for the carpeted areas or occasionally on the hard floor. But the suction and performance are great. It holds its charge and I have no problem vacuum mopping a 2000 square-foot space on one charge. I love the self clean feature however I do make sure that after every use I empty the water containers and clean them out. I’ll leave them open to fully air dry. I also take the roller off and just wipe down the roller shield and the tray and I also just wipe out the channel.

The vacuum mop works great until 1 month after the warranty expires and now it shuts off within 1 minute of turning it on. I have always used the Tineco cleaner and made sure to clean everything after each use. Extremely disappointed after paying such a high price for it to only last 25 months…. would not recommend

iFloor 5 Breeze Model – I previously purchased a Roborock model, which was more expensive, but had issues not charging at all and had an annoying voice that would alert me in the middle of the night about errors. So that went back and I purposely wanted a model that didn’t have charging contacts I had to align each time, which this model has a plug in back that you have to manually insert. The size and storage platform are great. I think it does a fantastic job at “mopping”, but I did find that some days I can cover all my floors without issue, but others the charge runs out only half way through. I’m hoping that doesn’t become more of an issue down the road where it doesn’t charge at all because I’ve gotten to rely on this and I fear it not being reliable itself. But, the cleaning power is great, maneuvering is good, however, it won’t flatten out to get under beds or cabinets like the Roborock model. I’m always shocked how dirty the water is each time I use it as I use it frequently enough. The self-cleaning seems to be working great as well, no issues there.

This is my second one of these because I thought the first one was defective but come to find out the thing is just overpriced trash. I’ve clean the dirty water tank several times and it keeps telling me it’s full. I took all the cleaning parts apart and scrubbed them until my hands turned red and still the same issue. I do not recommend at all. This thing will frustrate you.

Horrendous Experience with Tineco S5 Customer Service warranty is worthless
I rarely write reviews, but my experience with the Tineco S5 has been so appalling that I feel compelled to share. I’ve never encountered such dreadful customer service in recent years. I bought the Tineco S5 and used it only a couple of times before storing it, plugged in, for several months. When I tried to use it again, the machine appeared fully charged but wouldn’t respond. I reached out to Tineco’s customer service, and after some back-and-forth, they sent me a new handle, which did nothing to fix the issue. Then, they instructed me to send the entire unit to their repair center. Weeks later, I followed up and received a disheartening message: “According to the feedback from our repair center, your Floor One S5 cannot be repaired and has been scrapped.” To make matters worse, they offered me only 45% of the $399 I originally paid for a machine that had been used maybe twice. When I questioned why a replacement wasn’t an option, given that the product was still under warranty and showed no wear and tear, they increased their offer to 50% of a refund. I reluctantly accepted the 50% refund, but I will never buy another product from Tineco again. This entire experience has been a major disappointment, and I strongly advise anyone considering their products to proceed with caution. If you run into issues, you might end up with a scrapped machine and a fraction of your money back.

Less than what I expected
Right out of the box I kept getting a “empty dirty water” message constantly. I kept emptying it out every 5 minutes, cleaned the sensors as per some YouTube videos and nothing. Saw on Reddit this happens to a lot of customers. Will update once I receive a replacement

Smells even if cleaned with every use
I spend more time cleaning the machine than the machine cleans my floor…. and it still smells horribly! Suction isn’t that great. It maneuvers fine though hard to tell if it is cleaning. Not worth the investment at all. Waste of money.

Warranty
The media could not be loaded. The mop was expensive ($499.00) and worked great for awhile but then the water stopped coming out. I went through the warranty dept and no one answers the telephones in customer service. I tried chat and it wouldn’t download. I had to go through email only to spend two weeks back and forth for them to determine it was a warranty issue. They required I do several things and take videos and upload them. Now they want to send me a label for me to box and ship the mop to a repair facility. I assume I will pay for shipping as well. When I told them I’ve been without a vacuum and mop for three weeks already and then it would be another month with a repair, they asked if I still wanted a shipping label. They make the warranty process very long and difficult that I am just buying a new mop. The least they could do is send you a loaner mop and you use the loaner box to ship back your mop while the repair is completed. Don’t buy from this company!!! Terrible customer service and warranty protection. Waste of $499.00

It keeps talking about “brushes” but there is no brushes, only cylindars of cloth. Cleaning product I the bomb, but because it was cloth & no brushes, I had to go over it several times. AND!, less than 2 weeks after I bought mine, they lowered the price by $180.00. I am tempted to return it!

This floor cleaner is one of my best purchases ever. It vacuums and cleans the floors at the same time and does an excellent job. So easy to use that I don’t mind cleaning my floors more often. It has a self cleaning feature too. Only need a capful of cleaner mixed with water to clean your floors. Even bought one for my mother in law!

It’s good once you get the hang of it
I bought (specifically) the Floor One S5 Pro 2 so that’s what I’m reviewing. Like others, I got it during Black Friday / Cyber Monday and so I waited 9 months to review it so I could put it to good use. Overall, I like it. Not in love with it, but it’s good for what I need. For reference, I have all tile / vinyl flooring in my house (2000 sq ft). No kids, two occasional old stray dogs that come in and I feed and they hang with me for a bit before sending them back out into the wild. So nothing too crazy. Cleaning – I think it cleans well. I LOVE the solution (it smells good, very mild, the house smells great afterwards, no streaks, no residue, nothing bothersome). Battery life – I can clean my whole downstairs (about 1000 sq ft maybe?) and the battery drops to maybe 75-80%. I can do upstairs too (approximately another 1000 sq ft) and the battery will drain to about 40-50%. Happy with that. I ONLY run it on Max setting, never anything else. So impressive battery life. Never had an appliance with that kind of battery life. Cleaning – it cleans decent. I really don’t care much for the roller, as after a few cleaning cycles, it starts to mat and then seems to struggle a bit with getting up stains on the floor (i.e. sauces, water spots, dog drool, etc). Some stuff (if it’s particularly been sitting for a week or more) will take several passes to get up. But again, not mad about it. I’d have to do the same by hand. I wish the roller was a bit more fluffy so it would get into the cracks and crevices of tiles and floor planks, but that’s just me. I can see the floors shine in the sunlight when it hits them, so that’s good. Solution is legit 100%. I DO however notice that when it hits about 70% of the DWT, it starts to not put out solution anymore. I attribute this to the two metal prongs that sense the water level inside the tank, and as I’m moving it, and it splashes up, it shuts off the injection of the solution as a result (temporarily). To mitigate this, I empty the DWT when it gets about halfway and that fixes it. But I have to pay attention to see if I see any kind of wetness on the floor and then realize that’s why. I do use it also on rugs, and it seems to do ok. It got the dog dirt / smells out from what I can tell. I know it’s not technically rated for carpet, but I have low pile rugs so it works just fine. I have never paid attention to how long it takes to charge as it always gives me enough charge to do my whole house. The solution lasts awhile (I used up the small bottle that came with it and then the 1L bottle I bought later in 9 months – and that’s cleaning between 1X a week to every 2-3 weeks). So glad for that. It doesn’t take much. I would love to see a specific antibacterial / antimicrobial cleaning solution but that’s negligible. Be SURE you thoroughly rinse the DWT after you use it! Trust me! You’ll be like – why does my house smell SO BAD? and then you realize you forgot to rinse it out. But as long as you rinse it out after putting it on the charger – zero issues. Overall, I like it. I don’t think I’d buy it unless it was on a really good sale, as there are other manufacturers that have similar products now for less, but it’s good.

$400 DOWN THE DRAIN
I am extremely disappointed with the Tineco Floor One S5, which cost me $400. Despite using it only a few times a week for spot cleaning, the pivot point failed within 6 months. This issue caused the machine to topple over and the hose to detach from the base, leading to a total loss of suction. I don’t usually write reviews, but it is incredibly frustrating to invest so much in a product that has turned out to be useless. My Bissell Crosswave, which I’ve had for 4.5 years, still works perfectly without any issues. I bought the Tineco hoping for an upgrade, but it has been a significant downgrade in quality and reliability. Save your money and avoid this product if you want something dependable.

Good purchase overall
I do really love this for kid messes on the floor after mealtimes. I will say that I still use my spin mop once in a while to do a good deep clean. This is great for everyday or every other day maintenance though. Very good suction. Love that it doesn’t get my floors soaking wet afterward.

Nearly perfect
My life is already easier. This machine is lightweight – closer to 10 lbs than 17, which was a confusion reading the description. It actually really cleans stuck on food off the kitchen floor, battery life is more than long enough for thorough cleaning of a large room. Only drawback is having to empty and refill water tanks every two minutes, but considering how easy that is to do, and the fact that it’s still a big time saver over old fashioned mopping, it’s hard to complain. If I were to buy another one….which I might…. I’d pop for the bigger tanks even though those models are quite a bit more expensive. This one – the Blue – is a good value for the money though. Thoroughly happy.

The vacuum cleaner is great. At first everything was perfect until the battery started to fail. It’s not even a year old and the charge doesn’t last more than 5 minutes.

Big Headache
Within months of having this machine I had issues with it! It says my DWT(dirty water tank” is full when it’s not. It stops in the middle of using and won’t clean because “my DWT is full” I’ve reached out to the company and have just gotten the run around. Very disappointed!!

Saw this at a friend’s house and she raved about it…has 3 dogs and a lot of dust and it worked for her. I got the newer model and have used it twice. It works well but I guess my dog hair overwhelmed it. It had to be cleaned and emptied a lot. And recharged. I have a long hair German Shepherd and she was shedding. So I did have to sweep up dust bunnies of hair, and that made a huge difference. I love the self-propelling feature and it got very close to baseboards. Overall worth the money. I did buy a 3 year warranty.

Could be better
Let me start by saying I think this is a great product. However, for the price point I would hope to get a closer-to-edge clean. Even with the side that supposedly goes to the wall, it doesn’t get close enough. The tank requires dumping (dirty) and refilling (clean) frequently. I have a 1500 sq ft home and have to change about 2-3 times to get through probably about 1100 sq ft of it. Picks up the litter and hair, and sometimes spits the hair back out into clumps on the ground but that’s not such a huge deal to pick up after. It gets most of it. I’ve seen some people talk about how it starts to smell… I haven’t had that issue. Just thoroughly clean after each use. Also, remove the wet mop head after self cleaning and replace with dry one. Place wet one in the holder. I rotate them each time I use it so it stays dry when it sits there. Empty tanks after each use. No issues there. Charging… we’ll, it works. However, it does take forever to charge. The battery lasts for my need but I do need to pay attention to how long I run it because the battery will go fast. The display lights up red when a specific area is very dirty… and to be honest I question this feature. It almost seems like it’s on a pattern cycle to light up red and isn’t accurate but who really knows. Overall, it’s a good product but way over priced for me.

Doesn’t last over 2 years battery won’t charge
The media could not be loaded. I bought this in July 2022. Had 1 issue and it was repaired with in warranty. As soon as I got it back I used it three times and now the battery won’t charge. Very disappointed. I use to live this vacuum and recommended it to so many people and bought it as a gift. Not worth the money.

Frustrating
Loved this item at first. Worked well no issues. Started having issues with it saying the dirty water tank was full when there was nothing in the tank. Tried contacting customer service no response. Bought a spare tank to have the ability to switch between the two. Same issues.
