Bought this back in summer 2021 and it worked great. And then about 2 1/2 years later, it wouldn’t charge any longer. Tried troubleshooting by cleaning the contacts on the base and mop with isopropyl alcohol, nope, tried abrasive brush, nope, replaced the plug, nope. It’s dead. Maybe replace the battery is left? Probably rated it a 4 after purchase and a 1 since this didn’t last very long and apparently inability to charge is not uncommon. More uncommon is it is unrecoverable. My second bad Tineco product (top ranked vacuum based on CR did not vacuum well at all) and I’m done with them. They look good, though.

Actually there are three things I’m very disappointed in. 1. Clean water tank too small empties quickly 2. Leaves water streaks on the floor. 3. Not too good in getting smudges off my LVP. Pretty good power and OK suction. I’m ok with the machine, but I did have higher expectations.

Cleans great
In middle of remodeling so we have half Tile and other half is vinyl. This works great on both and gets them super clean. If you notice like I did over time that it wasn’t cleaning as well.. it was my own fault for not swapping out my roller brush sooner. When I did it was cleaning better again. Pros: super clean floor and picks up small crumbs, dirt, and pet hair. Generic replacement rollers and etc are cheap and reasonable prices Cons: the screws that hold the vacuum mop together are placed where the water canister sits. All the screws have rusted within the year. I feel like assembly of the item should have been more clearly planned when you have water and screws.

Bought two, one of them doesn’t work after 10 mo
One of them the spinner won’t spin anymore, even with regular and religious cleanings it still broke. It’s almost like it’s locked up. My other one is still hanging on, so I’m 50/50 on this product. With 3 children and 3 dogs I’ve used both pretty much daily. I wouldn’t say it actually replaces a deep mopping, but it’s amazing for paw prints, spills, and I like that I don’t need to vacuum beforehand.

Beware!!! Dangerous!
I’ve had the mop for just under 2 years now, loved it, simple, rechargeable, held a decent charge, picked up dog hair, great for quick jobs, maneuvered easily, light weight, had great things to say about it. HOWEVER: I used it for about 5 minutes today when it began making a higher pitch noise. I tried to shut it off and it would not power off which led to it overheating. Within a minute or so it began smoking and stinking. I took it outside and continued trying to shut it down. Eventually it cut off so I walked away. 5 minutes later I found it, powered back on, it had spun itself off the porch down to the sidewalk. Smoke was rolling out and again it would not power off. When it got too hot it would shut down and then come back on when it cooled enough – on its own. I didn’t know what to do with it since it wouldn’t turn off, so I put it in my burn barrel. I came back about 30 minutes later to check on it, and it was gone. It burned up totally ( as in absolutely no remains!) This could have been very bad if this malfunction would have happened when it was unattended inside the house. I cannot recommend this product and I pray that this doesn’t have any worse outcomes for anyone else

Stopped Charging
Cleans very good, but the capacity of the cleaning water, and the dirty are very small, ended up having to empty the dirty water twice while doing my 8 x 10 kitchen. Have had this a little over a year and the battery is no longer charging. Not a very good value for the price.

It was okay when it worked
After two years of light usage (once or twice a month) my Tineco failed and required to be sent in for warranty. I started the process while it was in warranty but they said by the time I sent it in it was out of warranty and won’t replace it – can’t believe I spent so much money on this item and it doesn’t work anymore.

Wouldn’t not turn OFF
After 3 weeks, the vacuum would not shut off. Tried talking with the company and they “had never experienced that problem and the only solution is to try to unscrew and take out the battery or wait for it to die and try again”. Very disappointing bc for the price, it should have worked longer.

Buyer Beware – It was good until it wasn’t
STOP DO NOT BUY THIS BRAND!!! We bought the Tineco Floor ONE S3 Cordless Hardwood Floors Cleaner, Lightweight Wet Dry Vacuum Cleaners on 10/29/22. It was working good until about 6 months ago. All of the sudden the battery would drain in seconds. I googled and found this is a common issue and followed others instructions to clean the battery connection site, that did not work and someone said to lift and lower the vacuum on the charger until it went up 5 % which worked, however every time I use it the battery drains in seconds. It takes about 30 times of taking it on and off the charger to get a 1% charge so basically I spend 20 minutes getting it to the point it will charge just to be able to use it for about 15 minutes before it dies again. According to Tineco the battery never needs to be replaced. This item is a POS and I 100% don’t reccommend wasting your money especially when there are others vacuums out there. Again this is a common problem with this brand! It is a complete rip off to have to spend $300 every 18 months to replace a vacuum. I am sure thats their marketing plan.

After only one year the battery stopped wanting to charge without picking the vacuum up and putting it back on the charger over and over again for 10 minutes. It makes me not want to use it. It’s really disappointing and I will not replace with tineco in the future.

Real review, way better than expected!
I use to have all carpet and swore by my Dyson and enjoyed the cleaning! Once I moved I was bummed at first because of it being all tile/hardwood floors…I used a mop and still found our feet to be dirty walking around without socks! I used this machine the first time, not only was it extremely convenient and easy to use (no broom and wet bucket with mop), when I was done I took a wet paper towel and scrubbed the floor by hand and it was completely clean! All the reviews of it going over big nasty spills doesn’t do it justice (big messes like that should be wiped up easy) but this thing will clean your entire floor (up to about 3k sq feet per charge), with maybe having to change water tank. But leaving not extra dirt or wetness left after! Dries nearly instantly and does not smell bad like chemicals!! I would recommend this to anyone wanting to save a few hours at a time moping floors! Only problem i can see being an issue is if you have a pet that sheds a lot, the hair will clog up the suction area if it gets to be too much! Other than that, this thing is amazing!

Best investment ever
This thing has been great! I haven’t sweep or mopped in three days because it’s been raining but I got it in yesterday so I tried it out today… we have a roughly 1800 sqft home. A three bed two bath with an open concept living room and kitchen all hardwood or tile so I used it on the whole house. It has a small tank bc it’s a wireless vacuum they are all semi small right… well I did my whole house even the laundry room with it on one battery charge it still had like 32 percent left and I only had to clean the dirty water tank 3 time and fill the water tank 3 times… so for not cleaning the floor for a couple days I think it’s pretty freaking impressive I’m in love with it 😍

I was surprised with how much it actually sucks up and cleans. The water does run out kinda quick for mop portion so just keep an eye so you are properly mopping. Also sometimes you have to go over spots multiple times if you are trying to vacuum something a little bigger but it works really well for the price.

Best Vaccum/mop combo
The Tinco is the best mop/ vacuum combination. Super light weight. Cleans up mess’s easily. Super easy to clean. Has great suction. Also doesn’t take up much room when storing.

I’m obsessed! Easy to assemble, easy to begin and cleans amazing. I was able to do my entire main floor in one charge, and was even able to do stairs although maybe too heavy for that in the future. So satisfying to see the dirty water when finished. Also everything comes apart to clean tank and brush.

Not streak free on my white oak floors
I so wanted to love this device! I was happily using it throughout the entire house thinking it was my best investment this year…until it dried. The streaking is terrible and I had to get on my hands and knees to wipe it down to remove the streaking. I have been searching for a work around, but cannot find any support for my problem. Maybe it is just my floors 🤷♀️

Great… for about 6 months
Well, we purchased in November of 2023. We use it lightly in a 600 sq ft one bedroom home, about 2-3 times a week. Now it is dead. runs for a few seconds when you first turn it on and then shuts off. Out of the three that I know of being used by friends and family, TWO of them have done this. The price is not worth it for something that only lasts 6 months or so.

Great for a brief ejile
I loved this machine . It cleaned my floors fast and convenient. Unfortunately after 2 months it stopped working. It will charge but only go on for 2 seconds then light on top goes red. I had to contact Tineco , now waiting to send machine and wait 2 weeks to get it back . Back to mopping manually.

Worthless
I was excited to receive this vacuum to help clean my floors. It’s heavy and pulls you so if you have a bad I don’t recommend. In addition I wouldn’t recommend this because it continues to shut off even after charging for hours. Not worth the money

Quit after less than a year
I purchased this product and only used it maybe 15 times over about 6 months as I was not living in the house I bought it for. It has now stopped working and will turn off 5 seconds after I turn it on. I’ve attempted troubleshooting to no avail.

It works great for times where you spill something and wanna clean it up really quick so it doesn’t get sticky, or just for everyday use BUT you’ll definitely have to use a regular mop once in a while because it doesn’t get EVERYTHING :/

Trash
I purchased my original machine in 2022. It didn’t last a year before I got a error and it shut down. I had to package up my machine (pain in the @ss) and ship it back to them. Then they sent me a used, and dirty replacement. It had hair wrapped around the brush roller connection and it wasn’t mine. Now not even a year goes by, and the replacement has the same error to contact CS. I rarely even use this thing because it’s a hassle to clean. I’m not impressed. I’d like my money back.

Customer service is a joke
After having this mop for a year it started to have major issues with water spitting out everywhere and no longer suctioning. Company is not standing behind product that is still under warranty! They stopped making this series and wants to pay me out $80! What a joke! They don’t stand behind their warranty at all! If you can’t fix the product I should be sent something in its replacement.

I tried it at the friend’s house and fell in love with it, because it works great (marble floors no grout). Unfortunately it doesn’t work on natural stone with wide grout. When something is spilled it will not pick up from the grout area.

This thing has been an absolute game changer! Having two toddlers and 2 goldendoodles, it’s almost impossible to keep my floors clean! This cuts my cleaning in half and has been worth every penny!

Its not even worth mopping my floor without this mop. Make sure you clean the tank out each time or it does get stinky and can cause too much buildup which will make it stop working, which can be a downside but it’s still cheaper and easier than hiring a house cleaner.

Clean water tank issue
I bought this machine just over 2 years ago. I was cleaning out the clean water tank (it had mold) and the pieces inside popped out and I cannot get them back in because you cannot open the clean water tank AT ALL besides the tiny hole on top where you put water in. So I cannot reassemble, nor can you clean it easily in the first place. Customer service cannot help because my warranty is expired and they are sold out of new clean water tanks online. So all of a sudden… the machine I purchased for $400 is completely unusable. I always knew I should’ve just gotten the Bissell Crosswave, but this is confirmation. I am so disappointed.

Cleanest Floors Ever!
The media could not be loaded. Before purchasing the Tineco, I used other mops and floor cleaners and nothing has ever left my floors as clean as this! My whole family can notice a difference after I use it. It was easy to assemble, is very user friendly, and the quality of the device itself is phenomenal. If you want the cleanest floors without having to scrub on your hands and knees, this is perfect! It has cut my cleaning time in half and is honestly my favorite part of my cleaning routine now! This is completely worth all the hype.

Stopped working after 2 years
Stopped working after 2 years, keeps giving the max blinking light. Tried all the different ways mentioned in their guide, but none of them worked. Contacted the company and they said they don’t have any parts available and suggested me to buy another ~$500 vacuum and they will refund $150.

Self Cleaning is the BEST Feature
I am the amazon shopper who reads a ton of reviews before I buy something. This is my way of giving back to fellow shoppers like me by saying I DO NOT regret this purchase one bit. I typically don’t splurge on things like this but I desperately needed something besides a Swiffer that I could get out and use quickly without dragging the mop and bucket out. This thing will show you how disgusting your floors really are. Mop an area the way you normally would then use this in the same area. I bet it will still be dirty water. It saves you from making sure you swept really well as the vacuum feature works great! Clean up is a breeze. There are only a couple pieces to wash up when you are done. The dirty water is going to amaze you. I keep mine in the mudroom ready to go after the pieces dry. If I had to pick out something I wish was different I would probably only say that I wish the water reservoir and collection reservoir were a bit bigger. If they were I could do my enter downstairs at once.

We recently got hardwood installed in our home and needed something that we could use to keep them clean. We have 4 dogs – so we are constantly sweeping up dog hair. we also have a toddler who is extremely messy when it comes to food. The suction is good overall, but sometimes it is hard to get the dog hair the is against the wall or in a corner. It also gets clogged with dog hair pretty often. I really wanted this to be the answer to our dog hair issue but unfortunately it has more negatives then positives when it comes to being pet friendly. On the other hand. it cleans up toddler food messes extremely well. all the bigger pieces of food and it doesn’t leave the floor feeling sticky. I do like the self cleaning feature but it can still get clogged.

I was on the fence about spending the money to get this. However, I’ve had it for 6 months and I still love it. I have two toddlers and 2 pets. It picks up all the first and washes so well. My only issue is that it has to be cleaned out every time including the rolling brush or you get a mildew smell. But not the end of the world. That’s still way easier than washing and vacuuming the floor each time.

Doesn’t pick up all the dirt
I will vacuum/mop my kitchen twice and dirt will still stick to my feet when I walk in there. I have to sweep after I use this. Definitely not work the $300 if it can’t even pick up dirt
