I bought this to use on my bamboo wood floors and my tile floors. I cannot believe how simple it is to use! No more pushing and pulling with my arm, making it sore and everything can be done in one easy step. The cleaner only takes a cat full and really cleans! You won’t believe after you use it the first time how dirt your floors were no matter how much you always mopped. I love it.
It cleans well, but the container that holds the clean water and cleaning solution doesn’t completely empty and is impossible to air dry. It got mold in it after only a few uses and can’t be removed as it’s inside the plastic where the nozzle is.

DO NOT BUY THIS MACHINE! I bought this machine 08/2021. All of a sudden it won’t charge anymore. Which is fine so I thought to call Tineco to see if I can pay for them to fix it or if they can provide troubleshooting. Tineco said sorry something is wrong with the motor and all they could provide me was 15% back of my purchase price and they will send a shipping label and box for me to send it back. Excuse me but if you can’t fix it then why would I need to send it back. I loved this machine! I just wanted to get it fixed. What a waste of $400! Save your money and invest in another company.

Motor Error
I initially loved this product and had high hopes for its performance. Unfortunately, the motor failed not long after purchase, and to make matters worse, the warranty had just expired. I reached out to customer service, hoping for some kind of resolution, but was told there was nothing they could do. It’s incredibly frustrating to invest in something, only for it to break down so soon with no support from the company. Buyers beware—this product may not have the longevity you expect, and customer service is not willing to stand behind it once the warranty runs out.

Disappointing Lifespan & No Repair Support
I initially loved this Tineco floor cleaner, but after just over two years, it completely stopped working. For a product in this price range, I expected better durability and long-term reliability. The first issue occurred in May 2023, when the battery failed. Tineco replaced it under warranty, but now the entire machine is unusable. When I contacted their customer service, I was told that since it’s beyond the two-year warranty, they won’t repair it—even if I pay for the repair. Instead, they offered me a 15% refund ($40), which is nowhere near the cost of replacing it. It is unacceptable for such an expensive appliance to last barely two years, with no repair options. If you’re considering buying this, be aware that once the warranty expires, you’re out of luck—Tineco will refuse to help, and you’ll be stuck with a useless machine.

Short time life
Seemed to work great at first but quickly stopped cleaning floors good, supposedly requires two different parts to be changed out regularly which means buying them. We also have not had a great time receiving product support with significant delay in response and then attempts to send us replacement products to help the situation which took forever and we had already made those efforts. battery won’t hold a charge after about 14 months.
The media could not be loaded. i bought this on prime day, july 2023. so i’ve had this long enough to make a decent review. this was my first wet/dry vacuum that i purchased so i didn’t have anything to compare it to. in the beginning, i really liked it. it did a great job on my floors. however, there were more cons than pros for me. 1) i could never finish cleaning my living room without having to empty the dirty water tank, refill it & run the self cleaning. 2) it would leak dirty water whenever i was done, and had sit it back upright. 3) it doesn’t get close to the baseboard. then, in october of 2024, the battery would say 100% but when i used it, it would die really fast, the numbers would drop immediately. brought it back to its base & the numbers would flash, but after a few seconds, it would shut off. googled it looking for solutions & came across a thread on reddit. the solution they suggested helped for a short time, but eventually it would go back & shut off & not charge. i contacted tineco because it was still under warranty. they told me i had to ship it back for them to examine it. i no longer had the original box so they told me to go to home depot & gave me the measurements of what size box to get. the tineco customer service was very quick in responding to emails & answered any questions i had. in the end, they refunded me a percentage, not the entire amount. i don’t plan on buying from tineco again any time soon & am currently looking for something comparable with less cons lol.

I bought this after a bonus at work thinking what could make my life easier? A vacuum/mop in one?! Less time cleaning, plus vacuuming is the worst. One job in, fantastic! Didn’t really pay too much attention that it doesn’t get corners or sides of the room, I’ll survive! Three jobs in, which I already got every morsel of hair from my regular vacuum, let her rip. Buyer beware—honest review
I loved this vacuum. So much that when the first one died after just a few months, I bought another one! I also recommended it to my family! Bought my mom one. At this point 3 Tineco have died within 2 years of owning. One just stopped working. Another stopped charging. One wouldn’t suction. So so sad to write this review but Tineco will no support your device. If you want to spend the money, it’s a great machine that will last on avg a year. If you’re cool with that, buy it! I will try another brand or will be buying from Costco and keeping the box, if you know what I mean!!

This vac/mop does a decent job overall, but it does not get close to edges (there’s a good 1 in gap between mop streak and floorboards). Also, after about 2.5 years and only about 2 dozen uses, the mop will not charge on the base anymore. It’s out of warranty and now useless.

No need for fancier models
This one works great. Bought in 2024. I almost got the really expensive one but idk why?… getting up to the wall wasn’t as important to me. This thing works great. If you have lots of dog hair you should vacuum first; it can’t handle it in the small tank. But it gets the floors super clean, I can tell by my son’s white socks lol. I hated mopping until now. I love this thing. And it’s fast, it almost like takes off when you turn it on. Even easier to push than a vacuum.

Does not charge after warranty expiration date . Did they do it on purpose?.
I really liked the Tineco at first but then it stopped charging. i called customer service and they were semi-worthless. Is it plugged in, are the contacts clean, etc. From the almost 2000 1 star reviews with half of them stating the same problem, customer service knows the issue but won’t admit to it. They will charge you $106 to send it back but don’t guarantee you will get anything. —–Update—– Well, I fixed it, sort of. I noticed it would charge for about 5 seconds after I put it in the base. Then it would turn off. If I lifted it up and seated it again it would charge again for 5 seconds. So, I put a timer between the charger and the wall outlet . I set it to run for 7 seconds and turn off for 4 seconds and repeat. It works! Now it charges almost normally. It takes about 3 hours. When it reaches 100%, I unplug it. Give it a try. ( I used a TOGOAL timer, Model T319, $14) When it reaches 100%, I plug it directly into the wall and use the self cleaning feature. Don’t give Tineco any more of your hard earned money.

Unreliable product and customer service.
I was hopeful that this would be a great cleaning solution. Unfortunately, it will not fully charge on the charging station. I reached out to customer service PRIOR to the warranty ending. Based on their response, this is a known issue. Their solution was for me to PAY to send them the product and PAY $100 for them to potentially repair it.

Unit has a faulty charge
If you search reddit you’ll find that this mop has a reputation for having faulty software and charging. Essentially if you let it die or the battery get too low it doesn’t charge. You literally have to rock it and take it off and on the charging stand because the unit itself doesn’t have a port for the charger only the base. The battery also seems to die pretty quickly after a few charging cycles, but when it’s working it works pretty well. It’s easier to clean than some of my other wet vacs. This is not a replacement for a deep scrub as certain items after they have set will not be removed even after passing them over five times. The positive thing is that the rocking trick works even if it does take 10 to 15 minutes.

Best investment you could make
I absolutely love this product. I purchased it 1 1/2 years ago. It has changed my entire cleaning routine. I have a husky dog and between the roomba and this vacuum/mop I can keep my house hair free. Very easy to use and self maintain. I had several problems due to defective part; however, customer service has been excellent and they were able to fix it with in a week and ship it back to me. I would recommend keeping the original box to make shipping easier and free.

Best invention & investment ever
There was so many models to chose from, I researched them all & this was the one that best fit our needs. I don’t like to use a lot of chemical products between having babies & animals in my house. I love that this only uses a small amount of cleaner & gets the job done! The days of vacuuming, mopping, scrubbing & steam cleaning my floors are over! This picks up everything from my dogs fine fur, to rice to even crayon on the floor! It self cleans which is great because who has time to clean their mop heads all the time. My floors have never looked so clean & it takes me a quarter of the time is use to. Highly recommend for hardwood flooring, tiles & anyone who doesn’t have hours to clean their floors. It did come with a trial size solution but I prefer the lavender scented one.

Won’t charge after 2 1/2 yrs

I love the ease to use this to clean. It does not leave streaks on my hardwood or tiled floors. This has been great for the many young children that are often at our house. Going to the trash…
I bought the S3 back in 2021, and 3 years later,it started malfunctioning. I loved it when it was working. Kept my floors really clean. Now, it has a problem with completely cleaning fluids off the floor. It leaves bubbly fluid behind. I saw a fix for it with spraying WD40 on to the fan, but that didn’t help. I would have rated higher if it has lasted at least 5 years. Since it’s out of warranty, I guess it’s going to the trash… 🙁

Won’t charge
Do not buy this. It won’t charge. Says low battery and stand won’t work. I ordered a replacement charging cable to see if that was the issue. It wasn’t. Thing simply doesn’t work. Do not buy.

Will not honor the 2 year warranty.
The motor inside the machine went out. I see online that is a constant issue. I called the Tineco support line and they gave a me Label and told me to send in the vacuum, said that it’s within the 2 year warranty. Now they are telling me that they can only give me 50% of the price I paid!! They claim they do not have the part for the vacuum and cannot repair it!! Terrible warranty and terrible company. Works wonderfully until 2year warranty is up… then it suspiciously breaks
I got this November 2023. I have used it daily until it started malfunctioning. Sprays water but won’t suction anything up, “please learn dirty water tank and debris channel or contact customer service.” Made in China junk. Literally started doing this a few days past the 2 year warranty. I’ve never had a single issue until just out of warranty. When I asked what they could do for me they said nothing other than give me a discount on another one. Why would I buy another one that’ll need replaced in 2 years?

DONT BUY! I bought 2 for my family and they both broke before we could even finish the cleaning solution it came with. One wont even hold a charge anymore. They broke right after the warranty too. Waste of money, poorly built, absolute scam.

I can tell you right now I am not a dirty person, And I always thought my floors were clean, I thought I would give this machine a try as it would be more convenient than a mop, I am very skeptical about things when I buy them, Trust me when I tell you this machine will make you feel like you are so dirty lol, Wow absolutely amazing, So easy to use, I did my dining room and I emptied out the tank the water was almost black, Unbelievable how much this cleans. I am a 110% very happy with this machine. Very well worthy investment, I hope it last Because I absolutely love it.

Not quite.
I had high hopes for this guy. I have wood floors and area rugs throughout my house. This is a great idea in theory. It’s somewhat easy to take apart and empty/clean all of the parts (getting the reservoirs back in takes some finesse). However it’s just too damn precious. Super high maintenance: clogs really easily, water needs emptying and the reservoir tank needs filling every 5 seconds. It’s even asked me to replace the roller head already and I’ve only used it 3 times! It doesn’t get very close to the baseboards either. I have to follow my own cleaning with a handheld vacuum if I want to get around those. If you have something dried and sticky on the floor, forget it. You’ll have to get on your hands and knees and manually clean for that. Also, expect to go over dry messes 100 times- the suction isn’t great and the mess sensor takes a hot minute to activate and deactivate. Don’t dare tip it on its side either. It also leaks EVERYWHERE and it doesn’t shut up. It’s constantly talking to you and repeating itself over and over. I have 4 children. I don’t need yet another thing repeating itself to me over and over. It’s not great at distinguishing between hard floors and rugs either. My rugs def get wet. This would be suitable for a retired couple or someone childless with minimal pets. Def returning.

Didn’t even last 2 years
This vac mop didn’t last me even 2 years. It started telling me to clean the debris channel even though it was clean. I have tried all kinds of troubleshooting and didn’t suggestions, but it still won’t work. It was too expensive to not even last 2 years!

Stopped charging after 2 years
Our Tineco Floor ONE S3 Cordless Hardwood Floors Cleaner worked great until it stopped charging just a few months after the 2 year warranty expired. For the cost, I would have expected it to last more than two short years! While it worked well for awhile, I was disappointed in the short life it had! Will not be buying Tinesco again.

Does not last
Used about 10-12 times. I owned it 1 1/2 years used about once every month or two, no animals, vacuum daily. Loved it while it worked. It just stopped working. Turns on then shuts off, and says call customer service. I cleaned it after every use. Fully charged just won’t work. Not worth the price!!!

Small tank
Like the idea of it. Water tank is small. The batter won’t last long. But the idea of it is great. For everyday cleaning on a quick clean is great.

Horrible design flaw, do not buy
This thing worked great for about a year. Then it just stopped sucking in water to the dirty water tank. After extensive research I realized that others had already discovered the major design flaw which caused our Tineco to break. The dirty water tank gradually allows dirty water to enter the motor housing unit ultimately causing the suction motor to rust and seize up. 300$ for a lazy design is ridiculous. Please don’t waste your money like we did.

Multiple Issues
DO NOT BUY!! Do not purchase from this company. We have had many issues with our machine and have had to send it out twice within a years time for repair. The second time we sent it out we received a response that the machine could not be repaired and they would be issuing us a partial refund. 37 days and counting and still no refund!! $500 for a vacuum and this is the result.

Only a year old and is super loud now
When we first bought this, I thought it was okay. There were some issues. For starters, the water tank was very small and could really only be used for two rooms at most. Also, if the cleaning solution ever runs out it will shoot dirty water back out onto the floor. I also found that if you don’t clean it after each use it will stink, and I can’t always get the parts to go back together easily. The tanks take some effort to get back into place. But what really makes me dissatisfied is that in less than a year something is obviously wrong with it. It makes a super loud sound now when using it. It was actually still in warranty when this started but I could never reach out to customer support. I tried emailing, calling, and using Amazon. Amazon passed the blame to Tineco, which definitely makes me reconsider purchases on this website. I could have easily taken this to a retail store and they’d probably just refund me. But Tineco clearly doesn’t want you to bother them with their cheap over priced vacuum. I don’t recommend. I’d probably buy a Shark next time, they’ve been good to me in the past.

This is the second one of these I have bought. The first was for me and I liked it so much I bought a second one for a Christmas gift. Highly recommend but wait for a sale and price check at all stores.

If you have pets or kids & have to constantly be cleaning this is great to keep the house clean. Has very good suction, hairs don’t get stuck, not loud. I usually take 20 min to clean the whole house with it & the battery lasts. Cleans super good GET IT!
