I bought this to use on my bamboo wood floors and my tile floors. I cannot believe how simple it is to use! No more pushing and pulling with my arm, making it sore and everything can be done in one easy step. The cleaner only takes a cat full and really cleans! You won’t believe after you use it the first time how dirt your floors were no matter how much you always mopped. I love it.
It cleans well, but the container that holds the clean water and cleaning solution doesn’t completely empty and is impossible to air dry. It got mold in it after only a few uses and can’t be removed as it’s inside the plastic where the nozzle is.

LOVED IT until motor died at 2.5 years. I’ve had many friends buy it because of how much I raved about it. I feel so bad. I didn’t have a problem until 2.5 years after, when the motor died. But many of them have had different kinds of problems with their tineco from the beginning. It’s too much money to spend for it to eventually break down on you, that soon. You WILL have problems with it. My advice, it’s not worth it. Get a different brand.

Easy Cleaning
Bought this for a lot of tile flooring in the downstairs area, and didn’t want to use a mop and bucket all the time. The battery life is longer than I expected and allows for multiple rooms to be completed. We bought an additional roller mop to switch between cleanings as leaving the one in the mop even after running the self cleaning cycle can leave an odor, if you clean out the dirty water and roller heads immediately after use this works great or if your wife leaves it for your honey do list and you forget, a little vinegar in the dirty water tank will clean it all up!

Highly Disappointed with this model. Changed to 1 star after one week of use. This review is primarily due to the price range of this one compared to other tinecos we have had and several lack of features.. This seems over priced with not having the self cleaning, terrible battery life, and lack of self talking assistance. It does clean as well as the other Tineco. I would not recommend this one and instead get the tineco one s3 or another similar brand like eureka. Now that we are just barely past the 30 day return period we are stuck with this one.

The media could not be loaded. Don’t believe TikTok!!! It doesn’t last. I hardly used mine and it stopped charging. When I put it on the base it says charging has stated but then the screen goes blank. I’ve tried every tip on YouTube: clean the metal prongs with alcohol, rock it back and forth until it’s at 5%, lean it back. NOTHING helps!

Not a bad design but over engineered. Good run time. Cleans well. Not sure the self cleaning is worth it. You really have to take the roller out and hand clean it (buy a second to have on hand). My issue is the charging. First it stopped charging when placed in the stand so I had to take the stand apart and modify it so the contacts would touch and actually charge. 2 or 3 months later, and now it won’t run even though the charge indicator says it’s full. Laster 1.5 years? Meh.

I love this vacuum! But a few things to know..
First off, I LOVE my Tineco S3! I used to have a Bissell Crosswave but ended up chunking it for my Tineco and I haven’t looked back. The Tineco cleans the floors AMAZINGLY. Even on tile, water doesn’t get stuck in the grout like some vac mops do. I’ve even used it on my cowhide and very short haired rugs and it works! I can’t recommend this vacuum enough. BUT – there are 2 things that I think Tineco should would on improving. If you forget to clean the dirty water tank and rinse it out over night, the next day when you use the vacuum it will STINK. I have always cleaned and rinsed my vac mops out regularly but the horrible smell will develop after only 1 day of forgetting. Another thing is the clean water tank is SO small. If I mop my entire house I have to refill it several times. Other then those 2 things – this is the vac mop of your dreams!

I have owned this for over a year and it’s awful. It’s so temperamental. I have a tiny apartment and I cannot get even half way through without having to turn it off, unclog it, and try it again. The dirty water tank smells and if you don’t put it back exactly straight, the vacuum will have a fit. There should only be one way to put it back! It also just will spit water everywhere and then not pick it up which makes my floors worse than before I use it. So I have to dry the floors after. Not the light on top is red and I’ve done everything to get it to work again but finally just moved it into my garage so I can throw it out. Its just never worked well. I have two dogs and I think maybe this is just for homes with already clean floors.

Problem. Product stops running and gives the message to “restart or contact customer service “. I purchased my first one from Best Buy. It exhibited this problem after nine months. I was able to return to Best Buy in exchange for a new one. That one lasted about 18 months, then had the same problem. At this point I was out of warranty. I foolishly purchased another one from Amazon in January, 2024. It is now August, 2024. That one has failed again. Unfortunately Amazon will not accept a return and directed me to the manufacturer customer service. I phoned them and that person said that I needed to send them proof of purchase and a picture of the serial number. He indicated that they would send a replacement. Subsequently, I received a email saying they needed me to return it for repair. They will not send me a new one. I now am expected to box up the old one and send it to them for repair. I don’t even have a box big enough for it, nor should I have to wait that long. Fair warning…Their customer service is terrible!

Do not waste your money
My Tineco’s first issue was it stopped charging, an issue that happens a lot according to customers reviews. Finally got it too charge and it then no longer absorbed the cleaning solution. I called the company and the agent advised that perhaps the hose broke after having me run some tests. They offered two option; buy a new one for $293 or I could ship my Tineco back for a cost of $106 for repairs. Here’s the catch… I was willing to pay for repairs but if they are unable to repair it they would just trash the machine and keep the $106. No other replacement would be shipped. The machine broke in less than 2 years.

Let me start off by in theory this is a great product, a mop and a vacuum?! However, it’s actually far from it. I purchased this product in prep for our new home and stupidly did not test it for months had it sitting there in a box when I finally took it out to use it it worked for a solid 2 min on and off (in intervals) thought it just wasn’t charged which I thought was weird since it had been charging the night before. Soon realized it charges (blinks 4 times) then completely stops. Tried everything that I could read about on line to fix it and nothing worked. Contacted the company and it was a complete joke. They asked me for videos (2x), a copy of the receipt (3x) the serial number (3x) – basically this was going on for 3 weeks total. I wish I would have listened to the reviews, but I wanted to love this product. Lesson learned will never purchase anything from this company. Products are expensive (which is fine if they work the way they are designed to) and poorly made. Go with another brand and save yourself the headache.

The media could not be loaded. I love the versatility of this product. It knocks out two birds with one stone. It’s lightweight and has robotic features to wear it glides for you. It’s suction pick up most things. The only negative for me is that it does not have a detachable Vacuum top. I think that is a really awesome feature to get in those hard to reach spaces that vacuum won’t fit.

Stay Away From This Product
Bought first vacuum, it arrived broken leaking/spraying water all over from the bottom can. Seemed someone already returned it and i received that broken item. Returned it immediately and got replacement in November. Now is Aug, in last 10 months ive used this item max 4 times, today was 5th time and out of the blue started spraying water everywhere from the bottom canister. Exact same issue the first one was returned for by another buyer and then me (since i received it used). Overall vacuum sucks good and mops well but its very faulty with leaking and spraying no matter how gentle you use it. Tried calling manufactory support, couldnt get thru. Stuck with this expensive broken crap!!

I have no pets or carpet, so I don’t know how effective it would be in those scenarios, but I love this vacuum. It stopped working after a year and a couple of months and announced to restart or contact customer support, and I did. They were extremely helpful, I sent them a video of the vacuum failing and they emailed me a label to send for repairs and had it back within a week. I hope it doesn’t break again, it would be a shame

Brand new machine stopped working in first 6 months. Sent it in for repair, received a damaged Tineco with a bent handle. Customer service only offered to replace new machine with refurb. Refurb has stopped working, but 2-year warranty doesn’t apply. Only option is to send the machine back to Tineco, but they cannot guarantee they are able to repair. If it can’t be repair they will keep the machine with no compensation/replacement only a 20% coupon to purchase another machine

I bought this vacuum mop last year and since then I have had to return and get a new one and now the second I got has the same problem. Every time I turn it on it produces this terrible burning smell and I always take care of it the way you are supposed to and it’s starts doing this after using it a handful of times. The first time the company reached out to me to fix the problem which was dragged out for a while and this time I reached out I haven’t received a response. For the price it’s a very ok product but the burning smells and its inability to work after this starts to happen makes for a terrible faulty product.

SO much better than our old one
The media could not be loaded. We got this with some of the money we had left from our wedding shower gift cards and let me tell you, I wish I bought a new one sooner. We just moved and installed white oak hardwood floors. We have an older bissell crosswave (was the best of the best at the time) and this thing blows it out of the water. It self-propels and is way lighter than our old version. It also glides across the floor so I’m not worried about it scratching our new floors. It self cleans and is way easier to clean than the crosswave version because of it. Our other one stinks and it didn’t matter how I cleaned it stuff would get stuck in the bottom hose/filter/ brush. I don’t see that being an issue with the tineco! So so happy with this. With having two long haired dogs, that are constantly tracking in dirt, this makes cleaning my floors in my entire house around 15-20 minutes. I did the kitchen and living room on one tank and the floors hadn’t been cleaned since we moved in.

I hate mopping. This changed that tedious task. I used an actual mop but this is 10x easier and faster.

DO NOT BUY!!! This was our second one. Stopped working like the first.
-00000 stars. Absolute gar%!÷ge. This is our second one. Our first lasted 2 years then died. My wife loved it so much and wanted another one, so I broke down and got her another one for Christmas. She was ecstatic. Well… this one lasted 7 months. It has the exact same issue as the last one. It stop sucking up water. We followed the instructions. My wife took great care of this thing. We will not buy anything from this company again. We do have a warranty thank goodness. But this is ridiculous.

HORRIBLE SMELL
After using this only a few times, it leaves a horrible smell every time it “mops” the floor. I would return if I wasn’t past the return date. I will be letting everyone I know how terrible this product is and such a rip off for the high price!

Worked great until it tried to burn down my house!
I used this a couple times a month over 2 years with no real issues. Sometimes the suction didn’t seem strong enough and there were small puddles left behind; the way the mop can be easily activated with the slightest tip backward of the handle was annoying; but I was willing to overlook those because of how much time it saves. I used this just last week but didn’t plug it in to charge when done. I tried to use it for a small spill yesterday and the red light came on immediately, so I thought the battery must have been dead. Thankfully, as I was just getting to sleep, I caught a wiff of electrical burning and found that the mop was smoking from the side vents. I was able to get it outside and there never was any indication of flames, but it was very scary. There’s always that risk with any battery operated device, but I feel the amount of use and how I careful I was with this mop (cleaning and ensuring no damage), I should have gotten a few more years of use from it. The support window for this closed May 2024 and this happened at the beginning of August 2024. Improvements to the battery, specifically ensuring there is a overheating prevention, is necessary and should be more clearly indicated on the mop itself if this is a common issue.

Junk
After 2 years and 3 months worth of light use it broke. Runs for 10 seconds and shuts off. Sent a video of what it was doing to customer service and they knew immediately it was a bad motor. Warranty expired at 2 years. Funny how quickly they knew it was a bad motor. Kinda like it’s a know problem. Can’t buy a new motor so they offered me 10% off a new unit. Like I’m going to spend another $300+ on another one to last only 2 years. Nope.

Works Great
The floor cleaner has worked great on our plank tile floor. The battery will last to do about 2,000 sq feet before it must be recharged.
