I bought this to use on my bamboo wood floors and my tile floors. I cannot believe how simple it is to use! No more pushing and pulling with my arm, making it sore and everything can be done in one easy step. The cleaner only takes a cat full and really cleans! You won’t believe after you use it the first time how dirt your floors were no matter how much you always mopped. I love it.
It cleans well, but the container that holds the clean water and cleaning solution doesn’t completely empty and is impossible to air dry. It got mold in it after only a few uses and can’t be removed as it’s inside the plastic where the nozzle is.

The media could not be loaded. I bought this unit (Floor One S3) in July of 2022. Used it 7-10 times before the end of the year. Spent all of 2023 living with my dad a few hours away because his health was declining. Well, I tried to use today 8/1/2024. The battery won’t charge. Spent a couple of hours on YouTube trying to find a fix. Nothing worked. So I decided to call the Tineco Company. She wouldn’t even try to trouble shoot it. She said I could mail it to one of their repair centers (I have to pay for shipping). Then, her next words were even more appalling… if it can’t be repaired the service center will dispose of it for you at no extra charge!!! I said “ok, do I get a new one?”. She said no. And she was sorry. Biggest piece of expensive junk I’ve ever bought. I’m not exaggerating! It worked for 7-10 times!! 😡🤬😡 Now, after doing research, it’s a common problem!! Do the research yourself. It’s all there. They are pieces of junk.

3 year update
I bought it in 2021 and it worked great up until one day it just stopped working. I had only used it maybe 20-30 times. I tried to call customer service (you will most likely NEVER get through) no luck. Then I went on their website and used the chat feature – talked to a customer service rep who said it was most likely a motor issue and there was nothing that could be done because I was out of the 2 yr warranty window. Really disappointing!!!

I love it but expected a longer life for price
I’ve loved my Tineco for 3 years now! I use it almost daily. It’s great for the stray hairs or dirt that get missed when sweeping and instead of spreading it around, it vacuums it up. Picks up spills and the occasional Cheerios that the dogs miss with ease. I absolutely love the self cleaning feature but make sure you clean the dirty water tank after every use! If you forget like I have a few times then it stinks to high heaven. After 2 years: the motor went out (conveniently) a week after the warranty was up. I contacted Tineco and they paid to ship my mop, replace the motor, and ship it back within 2 weeks. After 3 years: I’m having extreme difficulty trying to get it to charge. I’m unsure of what exactly the problem is but I’m on the verge of just trashing it because of the issue. I’ve had my regular vacuum for 8 years and never had issues with it and paid the same amount. I would have expected this to last longer without all the issues for the price.

### Terrible Warranty Support and Product Reliability
I purchased a Tineco iFloor 3 in December 2022 for $291.82. After just three months, the machine started smoking while in use. Tineco replaced it under warranty, and I received a new unit in April 2023. However, this replacement unit also failed due to a motor malfunction within 18 months of the original purchase. When I contacted Tineco in June 2024 to file a warranty claim, the extensive back and forth lasted 40 days before I finally received a partial refund of $140. Despite providing screenshots of their warranty policy from both the user manual and their website, Tineco never acknowledged the terms that promised free repairs or replacements for two years. They only ever offered me a refurbished machine or a partial refund, refusing to stand by their own warranty. Throughout the process, I had to repeatedly explain that this was not a return but a warranty claim for a defective product. Tineco’s refusal to honor their warranty and the frustrating, prolonged customer service experience has been incredibly disappointing. I would not recommend their products due to this lack of reliability and support.

Doesn’t clean that well
I have had this for about a year and have tried so hard to love it. But it always leaves streaks on the floor. Also the cover that goes over brush is soooo hard to to put on and it pops off. The dirty water tank is also very difficult to close. Just was very disappointed in this product. Gave it two stars because of the automatic feature. Poor Design Guarantees This will Just Outlive its Warranty
We bought the S3 in April of 2021. I used it weekly, and the results of the product are very good. It cleans nicely, it is easy to use and clean, and it was a product I recommended. I used the self clean cycle after every use, and I only used Tineco cleaning formula (which is expensive) in the product. One day it just stopped suction, resulting in water pouring out and not being sucked back in. The error reported was to restart or call customer service. Tineco’s customer service said the motor is probably bad and that I should buy an older model on Ebay. That’s their solution. A replacement motor would be more costly than the machine. After some research, I’ve determind that the product is designed so that it will barely outlive its warranty. The suction motor is housed above the dirty water tank, and no matter how properly you use this product, some water or moisture will eventually get up there. Once that happens, it will start to rust or corrode. Eventually it will seize up or the motor will overheat or just burn out. This is a cheap way to design this, and they sell this thing for $400. Personally, I’m disgusted by this brand’s inability to stand by its product or value quality. I think more and more people will discover this as well, hopefully forcing them to invest in products that last an acceptable period of time before normal degredation can be expected. Quite a disappointment, and I feel robbed by buying this in the first place.

If I could give zero stars I would! Do not buy a Tineco ever! Yes, it works great… when it works! This product comes with a two year warranty. Mine lasted two years and four months. When I called customer service they informed me there are no parts for my floor cleaner and considering it’s out of warranty there is nothing they can do. So you spend several hundred dollars on a floor cleaner that lasts two years. Don’t bother asking for a supervisor because one is not available. This floor cleaner does not last and their customer service is horrible!

Died after 2.5 years, warranty expired at 2 years
My Tineco S3 worked great at first. Now it won’t turn on and when I ran through problem solving with customer service they told me it sounded like the motor was dead and there is nothing they can do to help/reimburse or fix it. The way the agent said “oh, that sounds like the motor died” it was obviously not the first call they got about this. I regularly cleaned it right after every use (you must, thoroughly clean and let dry or it will smell musty) and I didn’t even use it every week. I will say it doesn’t save much time over mopping because you have to take it apart, wash all of the pieces and leave them laid out to dry or it will smell and get moldy. Now I’m throwing away an expensive, huge, heavy piece of plastic after 2.5 years. Such a waste.

Wow…Life Changing
My old dog has bladder control issues and is quarantined to the hard kitchen floor. My husband found a video review of the Tineco vacuum mop and said we should get one. Best purchase ever
Everything about this mop vac is awesome. Was a breeze to put together. Had lessens the time it take me to clean the floor significantly. I do have to empty the dirt water reservoir on a regular basis, I’m not upset about that at all. Having three young kids we have had to clean up plenty of messes and the Teneco has done each clean up beautifully. It’s very light weight and leaves very little water afterwards. The amount of grime it gets off the floor always surprises me.

Got six months of use before it broke
I was so excited about this vacuum and thought it was great for the first six months. I kept up with all the recommended cleaning of the vacuum and proper care it requires in between uses. The first error it threw at me was “dirty water tank full”. After a day talking to customer service and troubleshooting it was deemed that it could not be fixed at home. I had to ship the vacuum in to be repaired (the only option customer service gave me) and it was returned to be about a week later. After it returned I used it once. The second time I went to use it, it threw a “Clean water tank empty” error. It was once again not fixable at home and they asked me to ship back again for repair, ignoring my requests for a refund with each email. I eventually got them to agree to a partial refund, but I don’t think this vacuum is worth the price. You only have a 30 day return window and after that your options are limited even if the vacuum is clearly not functioning properly. Secondly, once the year warranty is up they will not offer you free repairs. I would not purchase again.

Clean floors but annoying to maintain
Let me start off saying that my floors have never been cleaner. I have the Floor One S3. All those reviews talking about how gross the dirty water gets are true. It was easy to set up and although it has an app, it’s not required. So if it cleans great, why only 3 stars? 1) It’s a mop that vacuums up its own water, not a combination vacuum/mop. It’s not suitable for picking up debris thicker than paperboard and some of that stuff is better off going in the trash than down the sink anyways. I use a standard vacuum everywhere then go over the wood and tile with this mop. 2) Maintenance isn’t hard except the clean water tank is near impossible to empty. Yes, it’s just clean water with cleaning solution but it’s not sterile and will grow mold if there’s always some liquid left. I know from experience. Since the fill hole is a small hole on the angled lid, it’s not easy to clean either. 3) There is no scrubbing action. It can clean messes as well as a damp paper towel, but anything requiring firm pressure or scrubbing will not be cleaned. Most dried-on, sticky, or stubborn messes won’t be fully removed. Other things to know Pros: The head pivots to make smooth gentle turns. It’s not as maneuverable as a Dyson stick vacuum but better than a standard upright vacuum. Great for cleaning up recent messes before they get gross or sticky. Since it vacuums up the liquid, there’s no need to dry everything with towels. The branded cleaning solution is not overly fragranced. It has a mild detergent odor. It (usually) automatically turns off when the clean water runs out or the dirty water tank is full. It dries the floor really well. Cleaning a room or two won’t soak your socks. Cons: Sometimes the mop doesn’t sense that the clean water tank has been refilled or the dirty water tank was emptied requiring me to turn it off and back on. The “self propelling” feature is just the rotation of the brush roller. I usually vacuum and mop in a back and forth motion so half the time I’m pulling backward against the mop. It’s just how the machine works but calling it a feature is misleading in my opinion. Despite being powered, it doesn’t require less strength to use due to its higher weight. A swiffer wetjet is easier to use. This model can’t get close to walls or alongside objects. Other models are designed to clean all the way up to one side of the brush roller though. The clean water tank output isn’t on the very bottom of the tank. Depending on the angle you hold the vacuum within the manufacturer’s recommended range, the clean water tank won’t fully empty and won’t sense there’s no water being put down on the floor. The instructions say using third party cleaning solution damages the machine. I’m not sure if this is true.

This product constantly malfunction toward the end of 1st year. Now when I turn on the power, its keep “clicking” and no longer working. The cleaning is not very satisfy as it will leave plenty of “streaks” after the cleaning. Now, its just giving up and no longer working. I am no longer trusting this brand.

Short story. The reason you should trust me, I’m obsessed with vacuums. I have bought 4 vaccums and 5 vaccum/mop combos in 5 years. This is not worth the money. Go get a Bissell cross wave. Don’t listen to the people calling this the BMW. There’s nothing “BMW” about this. They have gimmicky features like WiFi and that clean sensING feature that are absolutely worthless for what they say. The WiFi feature tells you how many cycles you can do. Wow… cool. And the clean sensing feature will pretty much kick in if you’re just standing still on clean floors. The clean and dirty water canister is extremely small. I had to empty the dirty water receptacle 6 times in a space of roughly 400 sq ft. And fill up the clean water about 8 times. The battery ended at 400 sq ft. At it will take 5 hours for it to charge back to 100%. If you have more than 400 sq ft to clean, this thing will be your worst enemy. Just to give you a comparison. The Bissell crosswave is pretty much half the price, doesn’t have a battery to charge and the clean and dirty water canister is much much larger. I can clean a 900 sq ft area with only adding and removing dirty water twice. My Bissell busted after 2 years of heavy daily use in a 2,000 sq ft space. I returned this right away and bought the Bissell crosswave again. It’s insane how better it is than the Tineco. I strongly suggest you don’t waste your money, time(waiting for an 5 hour battery to charge) and energy(refilling and dumping the small water containers).

Game changer
I will never mop a floor manually ever again. This makes my life so much easier. Floors dry instantly. Self clean cycle is awesome. Suction is very good. No complaints and praise. Worth every penny.

I like the way it cleans my floors. Doesn’t leave streaks and doesn’t leave the floor wet. I like that it vacuums and mops at the same time. The reason I returned the item is because it doesn’t get all the up to the base of the floors.

Had for only 2 years before the motor went bad. Spent $400 when we orginally bought and had several issues with it. Do not recommend at all.

It worked fine for 2 years (about one a month), right after the end of the warranty battery died. I called customer support, they don’t have battery replacement, offered repair for 80% of the price of the new vacuum cleaner. Based on what’s published on Internet it’s a very typical situation with this kind of vacuum cleaner. If you buy it be ready to buy a new one in two years.

Broke after a few years
I love this product but I am very disappointed with the customer service and the quality. The pipe inside broke and water pools on the floor. I contacted the company and they gave me a 30% discount from there ebay store. I think for this price this should last more than 2-3 years. I didn’t use it alot, only for spills and weekly cleaning. I don’t have any pets or anything to have it break with such gentle use.

The item itself worked great, but the tanks are so small I had to dump and fill over 10 times to just do my floors. Wish it had a bigger tank.

Easy to use and effective
I usually don’t write reviews, but I really love my Tineco S3 one! We waited for it to go on sale for a long time, and this prime day deal can’t be beat! It’s quieter than I expected. Was very easy to learn to use. I love the self clean feature and charging dock. I like how the front plastic piece and roller are easily removable and cleanable too. My floors have NEVER been so clean, and it’s easy enough to do that my kids can easily help with this chore too!

BEWARE
Check your package!!! I didn’t use this for a long time. We had to wait for Weiss floors to be repaired and coated. Last night, I found the handle does NOT go to the vacuum sent. No self cleaning button! I encouraged my neighbor to buy one at the same time I did. Yesterday, I saw hers and realized the issue. I have been on hold listening to your AI bot for am hour, after having up call back from disconnect. Either they have 1 customer service agent, or MANY problems. Either way… BE WARNED, this item will NOT have any customer service. An expensive lesson.

Breaks Right After Warranty Ends
Just used this a handful of times in the last 2 years, but it is no longer working, especially right after warranty ends. $400 down the drain.
