We replaced a five-year-old shark that is identical to this one. I wouldn’t use this as your main vacuum as the suction is not quite like a corded vacuum. But we use this one for quick cleanups around the birdcage and the occasional spills. Shark discontinued, the headlight on the front of the unit which is said because a greatly helped you locate and ensure that you were getting up any debris on the floor. I bought it aftermarket light but it’s not the same.

Could it be any better? (sure, but this vacuum is tops!)
I have purchased multiple examples of this model Shark vacuum for myself and others in my family. It’s great! It works on carpet and bare floors, (it has a “beater-bar”) most of the weight is in the base (that’s where the battery is) so it is easy to handle. Excellent for smaller houses and apartments – run-time is extended by using the lower power setting and the battery itself is replaceable if it goes wonky. Very respectable performance from this model. Simple and straightforward. Take care of it properly and the unit will last a long time – I still have my first one from years ago – just had to buy a new replacement battery and it still worked fine.

STOPPED WORKING

Great mobile sweeper but poor battery life
For being a Shark product I was super hopeful. But I have used this product a few times now, and each time the sweeper dies on me. I do not use it for hours at a time either. I am not sure if I got a dud, but the battery life is AWFUL. Other than that, it is a great sweeper.

Great for a short time
I was in love with this for about 6 months. After that it doesn’t pick up. It seems to, but then spits everything back out. I live alone, no pets and elderly, so I’m no talking any major challenge for this machine. I’ve cleaned brush, rollers, filters, etc as I always to with all of my cleaning machines. My advice is save your money and look elsewhere.

Worked well for a while…
Bought this vacuum back in Dec 2021. Super easy to put together and was easy to store away to charge and lightweight enough to carry up and down steps. It doesn’t pick up as good as a full sized vacuum but does the job… until recently. About 6 months ago, the piece that connected the brush roller to the vacuums broke off out of nowhere. We fixed it temporarily but it’s to the point that it is always falling off. Can’t really vacuum without the brush roller.

Broke after a year
I did a lot of research before choosing this vaccum and I could not be more disappointed. It broke after 1 year and after 1.5 years is completely unusable. It would clog every few weeks and you have to take the entire thing apart to unclog it in several places. A bolt fell out of the handle and the piece that holds the roller on the bottom broke of completely. The suction is extremely weak. I would not recommend this vacuum. The only reason I gave it a star is because it holds a charge for a long time.

Vacuum cleaner stopped working after 2.5 months. Customer service spent an hour, on video with me, to fix it and it didn’t work. They pushed really hard to prove that it is working while it was not clearly working and sucking the paper debris. Finally, they agreed to replace the unit but only if I paid for shipping. Product and company policy suck but the vacuum doesn’t !

I was so excited to have my first Shark product back in 2022. The delivery was quick and it was easy to put together. The first 6 months it was amazing, everything you would want in a vaccum! But then it started to flash blue while vaccum and after doing research it was clogged. I have taken apart this vaccum as much as I could and after giving up on it for a few months, it started to work again. Flash forward to a year later and now it’s doing it again where it’s just flashing but nothing is stuck! Obviously I’m out of my return/warranty so now I am on the hunt for a new vaccum. It looks like most of the Shark vaccums are not doing so hot 😳

This vacuum did great with dust and small debris but did really poorly with large debris and fur. It’s to the point where I’m unclogging one or more of the 3 clog points 2-6x per cleaning. Selling it after 18 months and finding something more powerful.

The two power levels control the floor or carpet use, yet neither has overly powerful suction. The rotator brush head is rather simple, and get tangled with hair. Good for occasional use, but not a workhorse. Charge lasts a fair amount of time.

Smooth!!
Wow this is the littlest vacuum that could! It took me 10 min to put this together and complete my first vacuum. This is way better than those other cordless vacuums that aren’t name brand. I only got it today but I’m so impressed! It picked up a whole container of my dogs hair in two minutes. I did a few crummy areas on hardwood and it picked everything up just fine. I did have a quick issue trying to put the handle on, the screw wouldn’t lay flat but just keep wiggling the handle and pushing the screw in there and it should into place. It’s now charging and I can’t wait to vacuum next!

If you have dogs (or dust), don’t buy it
The media could not be loaded. I would say that the only good thing about it is the price and that is cordless. It won’t suck dogs hair, even dust you have to pass through the same spot many time to make sure it sucked everything. Small pieces of paper, food, it leaves part behind. Cleaning carpets? Forget about it. I just bought a dyson and it sucked the dust and hair out of this same carpet on the video in just one pass.

Liked: -Cordless -Light -Solid suction Unfortunately, after 4 months the roller brush jammed, and I had to take the whole thing apart and add grease to get it to spin again. 2 months later, same problem. We use it weekly on 4 or 5 area rugs, so this kind of quick wearing out is a significant flag.

I love this little vacuum. I have talked four friends and my sister into getting one. Everyone should have one. It is light, corners well, lifts easily from stair to stair, recharges and empties quickly. I use it at least twice daily. And, if it starts to slow down, a battery replacement is available and it super simple to switch. I think I should recieve a free one for all the sales I have made for Shark!!!!

my Shark died five weeks after I bought it. The real nightmare was having to deal with Shark’s outsourced call center. I had to call three times and go through the entire scenario including the video “troubleshooting” only to be cut off the first two times. Each time I called I was told something different. The only thing that was consistent was that they said it was the charging dock which was not covered by the warranty (what?) Tried to charge me full price plus shipping. Finally the third person said they would make a one time exception and send it for no charge. And, did I fully understand that it was a one time exception. I have used Shark products all my adult life but will Never buy anything from them again. It was a total disgrace and took multiple hours of my time. Worst customer service ever. Spend the extra money and get a quality product. They should be ashamed
