I wish it was slightly cheaper, but it’s exactly what I wanted and membership in Amazon Prime eliminates any S&H charges … so if you’re on the fence, I say go for it. I’m 70, I live alone and manage my home myself. We replaced a five-year-old shark that is identical to this one. I wouldn’t use this as your main vacuum as the suction is not quite like a corded vacuum. But we use this one for quick cleanups around the birdcage and the occasional spills. Shark discontinued, the headlight on the front of the unit which is said because a greatly helped you locate and ensure that you were getting up any debris on the floor. I bought it aftermarket light but it’s not the same.

I don’t get it
I’ve had this for 5 months officially. We have three floors in our house, so I didnt want to have to lug a vacuum up there when needed- so I purchased this one and I still carry my other one up there because this one is really unreasonable. I purchased it because of the high reviews, but upon my return to the order, I realized the ratings actually went down over the last 5 months (4.5ish stars to 4). With the large number of reviews, it makes sense the average rating would drop. It doesn’t cut corners well, doesn’t detach (which is clear before you purchase), and clogs so easily it really defeats the purpose. I bought a Tineco S11 a few years ago and swear by it. If you’re ok with cleaning the filter periodically that brand is the way to go

PARENTS OF TODDLERS: BUY THIS!!!
You know how the only kiddy vacuum is a fake Dyson that makes noise and picks up basically nothing? Well this is the solution. For 90$, your toddler will be happy for a half hour at a time (about a full charge) and your floors will be clean. The push button on makes it easy for anyone to turn on, and the tray style charging port makes it easy for a savvy toddler to place it on the charging rack alone! The only caveat is teaching them to not vacuum anything wet. Our floors were vacuumed daily for over a year with this device, and this season, I blessed my sister and 2yo nephew with the same model. It was a hit!

Good little vacuum, powerful suction
This vacuum has so far exceeded my expectations. It feels like a stick vacuum in hand with a large container that you have to empty less often, and better suction power than other stick vacuums. It works better for my pets food crumbs and fur than the stick vacuum I had previously. It works fine on hard floors and thin carpet. I have not tried on thicker shaggy rugs or carpet.

This is not a bad vacuum for the price. Has fairly decent pickup and nice size container to hold debris. But biggest con is the sound. High decibel motor that is nerve racking. Less so on the bare floor setting. Would not buy again but will keep for now.

This vacuum works wonders! We bought it as a last resort, as our dogs tend to claw and bite our vacuums when we use them. This vacuum is built to perfection! This is a wonderful, light weight little vacuum. I’ve had one for over ten years now and it’s used all the time. I replaced the battery about 2 yrs ago . I think the battery only cost about $15. I love it!

Won’t work
I have had this for several months and it will not work. I am on my second battery pack, and I have still been unable to use it for my small apartment. It will run for a minute and then shuts off. I have owned a shark before and was very happy with it, but this one won’t perform at all.

Thickness of carpet
Almost sent the entire vacuum back after just unboxing and using. Depending on the thickness of your carpet, will deter, if it will work. I cannot vacuum rugs, as the thickness of the rugs- does not allow vacuum to rotate. Have to use other attachments for rugs. It does do its job very well other than that.

I’m very surprised at this shark cordless battery operated vacuum, I have another and it works perfect, but this has a little to no suction, charging speed is good, but as I vacuum the floors, carpet and hardwood? It is pushing along the particles on the floor and carpet, I’m having to pull the washable rugs up and place in the washing machine, such a major inconvenience and for the money? I’m right outside of the time limit of returning. Very disappointed in this vacuum, would love for the seller to at least exchange

IT SUCKS.. not in a good way.
I was so excited to enjoy my new shark vacuum. I love Shark brand, I am a vacuum connoisseur!! This vacuum was very underwhelming. Yes , it does work but shark has WAY better options for pet owners. It doesn’t pick up anything “big” that the regular shark vacuum can pick up, like small pieces of paper. I HATE that I have to pull a trigger continuously for a stronger suck to actually pick up a single cat litter on my wooden step. If the stronger suction was standard on this machine and not a continuous pull, I may have kept this vac. When pushing and pulling the vac it it’s not a smooth as a standard vacuum. I put my hand under the suction and it felt like a little breeze. I HATE THIS VAC.

I’m an active 90 yo, still drive, walk, and clean my house, not as deeply as in my younger days, but clean enough for company. To have a lightweight CORDLESS vacuum at my fingertips is priceless! I’ve only had it for a month, and if my opinion changes I’ll let you know. Works great, easy to push and pull, easy to empty. And it is cordless!
