This robot is working great for our family home so far. It has mapped the main floor perfectly. Each day it runs it gets better and better at getting every inch of the room area. We have used it for 1 week daily and each day I am surprised on how much pet hair and dust it picks up. I would recommend this product for this price range. Worth the money.
Not the worst but definitely not the best, doesn’t pick up the dirt very well and doesn’t reach all the main spots I got it for. I have to go over again with my own vacuum and that defeats the purpose especially for the price of it. Overall I’m not too thrilled with it if I’m being honest

Best investment
I bought this on special to replace an old robot vacuum I had. I absolutely love this thing! It mapped my house perfectly and I was able to X off the spots I don’t want it to go which is a great feature right now with the Christmas tree up. I love that it empties itself and goes right back to cleaning, that was a big selling point for me as I have 3 dogs so lots of dog hair! Definitely worth the investment. I run it 2x a day to keep up with the dog hair and dust and it’s made such a difference!

Very nice
This does a much better job than previous models that bounce off of obstructions and walls. This model, unlike previous ones, uses lasers to determine obstacles, and stop the machine before it bumps into anything. The self cleaning feature works well, I have 2 cats and still only have to empty the reservoir once a week or so. Overall, very happy with the machine.

It does vacuum floors, but…..
It’s a smart little machine and it vacuums fairly well but don’t believe the info on it about pet hair. We have a malamute that’s a semi wooly. That means long hair. The machine mapped the house well and on its first run did a good job. But, on its second run we had an error that the roller was jammed. So we followed the direction and removed it to clean. We found the drive end of the roller had our dogs hair rapped around it. It had caught all of the long hairs and twisted it around the orange drive end. We removed the hair and also removed it from the brush and rubber vane. It does not clean the brush roller of hair. It gets rapped around it and you have to remove it manually. The machine ran good for 2 more runs and it errored out again with the same issue. This time we did not find any hair around the orange drive end. So we cleared the error and tried again. We got the same error 2 more times with not see anything on the drive end. This time I removed the green stationary end and found a big wad of hair rapped around it. I removed the hair and ran normally. The small wheel in the front of the unit also had hair wrapped around the small pin that’s mounts the wheel. It was very tough to remove and I could not get all of it out. This does not bode well for the long term serviceability of the unit. The app does not let you resume after an error like this. So the unit must start all over again. The spot clean size is not adjustable. Over well the app is 7 out of 10. We are still on the fence about this unit. Right now it’s a 50-50 chance that we will return it. I will update this review with pictures the next time it faults out. Which will probably be after the next 2 times it cleans.

It works
I’ve had good luck with my vacuum. Anyone with a dog, owning this should be a requirement. Does heart with dog hair. However, if you think this is a ‘magic’ vacuum and you will never have to clean your house again you are wrong. I turn mine loose and it does a great job as a quick clean up and maintenance device but at some point you will have to use a regular vacuum and clean your floors the old school way. The folks that have written negative reviews all seem to have the most trouble with the app, and mapping. I don’t bother with that. Just turn it loose and it does its thing. The other thing is it doesn’t like water. We spilled water on the floor [the dogs water bowl] when we were not home. The vacuum sucked up some of the water and the moisture caused it to clog up.

Vacuum worked for a few days before getting repeated error that the brush was blocked even when it’s clean. The map doesn’t show the path the vacuum takes or where it’s at in the house when it gets stuck. Will go back to roborock

So far I love this thing!
I never, ever thought that I would own a robot vacuum, but now that I do I can’t imagine my life without one! I live in a small space (1-level), do not have kids nor pets, but I shed plenty of hair myself and have lots of dust constantly accumulating from my rugs and sheets. I just run this thing in the morning as I am heading out the door for my daily walk and I come back to a house that feels clean and tidy. I usually run it on the max setting and it takes anywhere from 45 minutes to 1 hour to vacuum ~650 square feet of space. I would say that on the eco setting or regular setting it really isn’t that loud, and then on the max setting it is a bit louder, but not unbearable (especially if one isn’t home while it is running!). So far I haven’t had any problems with the machine overall except it doesn’t seem to obey the “no-go” zone that I pre-programmed into the app, but I have only had it for about a week now so only time will tell if I need to make some adjustments or call customer service. I am a die-hard Shark fan and so far this has not disappointed me. I would highly recommend this to anyone who doesn’t want to have to vacuum multiple times per week on their own.

This vacuum does a wonderful job cleaning my floors. The suction is good and it rarely gets stuck on anything. The fact that it empties itself is a time saver. I only have to empty the dust bin once a month. I clean and rinse the filters and brush at the same time. I run this vacuum six nights a week. It is quiet enough to run while I’m sleeping. I just have it clean the living room, kitchen and bathroom. I had some magnetic strips from an old vacuum so I put those in the doorways of rooms I don’t want this vacuum to go. I wake up every morning to nice clean floors! The only thing I don’t like about this vacuum is that the navigation isn’t very good. Instead of seeing that a wall or object is near it just runs into it several times as it figures out how to proceed. As a result my baseboards and furniture get pretty marked up, so I have to scrub them more often. The app works well and was easy to connect. I love how you can schedule when it should clean and when it should stay docked. Overall I would definitely recommend this vacuum.

Way better than my roomba!
I got rid of all of my iRobot Roomba and replace them with this shark vac. I am super Duper impressed with its intelligence and ability to pick up as much as it does. It empties the dirt and Pet hair so frequently that you pretty much don’t have to empty the bin for weeks and weeks, it is awesome. I love it! I’ll never buy an iRobot again.

It definitely leaves stuff behind. I’d say it does about 80 percent, but is definitely easier than sweeping 1500 sqft. My two star review is because we got this to work with Alexa. It pairs, that’s it. So for false advertising I dropped your stars down. Don’t lie to your consumers. For something to be advertised, it has to actually work. With that said, the app works great.

Clean floors!
In a 7 person, 4 cat, and 1 extreme shedding German shepherd home….I needed help. I still do my weekly deep clean of the floors, but “Jones” cares for the day to day stuff. I do weekly maintenance on the robot and dock…pull any hairs off the roller brush, empty his dust bin, clean the filter, and empty the dock bin. Takes just a few minutes and I’m suspecting will keep him running longer. The mapping seems pretty good but every now and then he ventures into a room that is not mapped and takes it upon himself to clean it. Battery is enough to do all my rooms. He cleans better and faster if less stuff is in the way, so we put up chairs and stools. Overall, I’m very happy.

Very disappointed
Very disappointed with this vacuum. We thought we were upgrading from a cheaper off brand that did not have the room mapping. It turns out however that this machine does not come anywhere close to the other vacuum that was a third of the price. The mapping system is extremely inaccurate despite numerous re-mapping and does not clean very well at all. I have seen other reviews for this machine that were great, however that has not been the case with our experience.

Was Great while it lasted
Loved my Shark, improved our quality of life living with 2 huskies… but it suddenly died and will not charge, turn on or do anything in less than a year of purchase. Also there are not parts for this model to replace the motherboard and try to revive it. our only options are to replace it.

This thing rocks!
We bought this during the Black Friday sale, and I’ve got to say that I’m impressed, thus far. It does a good job of mapping, and the no-go zones work perfectly. The app is laid out pretty well, though I don’t care for the design of the scheduling section. I’d prefer to be able to see the schedule layout, rather than having them hidden behind boxes that I have to open just to see the times. Overall, this thing rocks and I hope it continues to impress for a long time.

Ignores no-go zones
It cleans well, empties, etc., but completely ignores any of the no-go zones I’ve put into place. It has its own agenda. Not impressed. Also, it arrived with no side brushes. Couldn’t even use it until I broke into accessory pack; glad I ordered that. It’s going to be a C grade from me.

Cleans well but it’s kind of dumb for a smart device
The self emptying feature is handy and it does a great job of keeping up with the constant crumbs my kids leave behind… but that is only WHEN it cleans. I swear this thing is constantly not cleaning on its schedule because of a “dust cup error” or it says it’s not on a level surface and can’t begin cleaning (hardwood floor on provided plastic base??) I’ll notice the crumbs under the table starting to build up and when I check the app to see when the vacuum ran sure enough… hasn’t run in a couple days! So frustrating!

Great for every day cleaning
The media could not be loaded. I have a handheld shark vacuum which I really love. This is why I chose the shark over so many of the others. Well that in the price. I bought this in order to keep my living room, dining room, entryway and kitchen floors. I love that I can block off rooms and give it a decade space to clean. Looking nice. I have a small dog and a large husband who neither one know how to wipe their feet or pick up their messes. It does the job beautifully and really helps me manage the time I spend cleaning. Everything looks nice everyday. And I can keep my heavy cleaning to monthly. I was actually very impressed with its mobility. My daughter has a very expensive one that is constantly getting stuck here and there. The shark manages to maneuver over my thick area rugs, and around my mantle which has a slight 1 inch raise marble. I’m considering buying a second one for my downstairs.

Game changer!
I got the Shark AI ultra voice self empty bagless vacuum. I have 2 cats who like to kick litter and I finally decided to give it a try. I am so happy I did! It is quiet. I can set it to run at like 5amand when I get up it’s so nice to have the floor clean and not stepping on crumbs and litter. It transitions from tile to carpet with ease including rugs. I would still keep my regular vacuum to go around edges of rooms but other than that so far after a month completely satisfied! And bagless empty is great too otherwise I feel I would have to buy bags all the time. I have brought it to the second floor and it works I just need to listen and empty myself and listen for it to need to recharge. Eventually I may get a separate one for upstairs.

Won’t even work
I guess its my fault for getting it discounted “used”. First time trying to run it out of the box and it doesn’t work. From what I can tell the motor/belt for the sidebrush is faulty because its giving me an error that the sidebrush is obstructed. It hasn’t cleaned an INCH! so shame on me but come on… and no returns!

The media could not be loaded. I didn’t expect much from this little vacuum, but I am positively surprised! I have two dogs who shed a lot and my home is much cleaner since I’ve had the mini Shark as I like to call it. It goes under my sofa and my bed where I can’t easily reach with my regular vacuum. Suction is very good and the motor is strong enough to get onto rugs and over small obstacles. It‘s not noisy at all when it‘s running. The only thing that’s loud is when it empties itself, but that only lasts a few minutes. It was easy to set up and did a great job at mapping the house. The battery seems to last long enough to clean the whole apartment which takes around 1.5 hours. After a full clean it’s usually around 30 – 40% battery. Highly recommend!

I don’t understand the categories about cleaning suction etc if I have to monitor the stupid thing every time it runs. It has no real mapping ability If I set it down to clean some of the MANY places it misses it WILL NOT simply go straight forward until it reaches an obstacle. It will circle and circle and NEVER just go forward. It is just the stupidest thing. It will go back and forth in a hallway and NEVER go down it in a straight line. This may not adequately explain the stupid thing but trust me don’t buy this one. I regret this purchase I

Much cheaper than a Roomba and does a better job
After running through 3 Roombas I opted for this one. It’s much more cost effective. It’s mapping is far superior. I love that the bin does not have a bag. I empty the bin on the charger every few runs and rinse it out. The Roomba bag would stink up the whole house like smelly dog every time it emptied the vacuum. I have 2 goldens and this product is great. You can send it out to do spot cleans and label your rooms in the app. Very accurate. Could have a bit more suction but with only 1 carpet in the house I can live with that. It is more streamlined and does not get stuck as much as the others.

Wifi connection
I have had to reconnect my shark to the wifi multiple times when the shark docks. No internet issues. The shark just disconnects randomly.

Rosie, the Robot is awesome!
The media could not be loaded. Rosie, the Robot does a great job on my laminate flooring. I have her scheduled to clean the entire condo, three days a week, and a deep clean the bedroom every Sunday. I made a mess in the kitchen yesterday involving flour and oats, and I called Rosie to clean it up. She did a great job. You can request the robot to clean a particular room if you make a mess or enjoy the convenience of weekly scheduled cleaning. Many people have asked me about noise, Rosie is much quieter than an upright or canister vacuum cleaner. Plus, you can control her with Alexa and Google Assistant. I must admit, I expected the robot to clean the open areas of the condo, but I was surprised when I found she’s very “OCD “about getting into corners, under furniture, and around furniture and table legs. You can keep the robot from cleaning certain areas by changing mapping in the Shark app, which is very functional and user-friendly. I’ve been pleasantly surprised, and very pleased with the performance and the five year warranty that comes with online registration of your product. The only parts that you might have to replace are the rotating brushes. A set of two would cost you about 30 bucks on the shark website. One thing I have noticed is that having a robot running around the house doing my vacuuming for me, makes me more aware of all of the items like clothes, shoes, socks, etc., or whatever else that might be sitting around on the floor. So I find myself picking these items up more often, especially on vacuuming days! Amazon’s sale price on this item is very competitive, delivery was quick, and set up was a breeze. The first trip of the robot will be to map your home or condo and then you set up the schedule and relax. Easy peasy!

Absolutely Awful!
I have been meaning to do a review on this trash vacuum for over a year but there is a novel to be written about how terrible it is. The vacuum/app just deleted my map entirely for probably the 10th time in a year so I’m sitting down to at least summarize. Everything I speak about has been a problem from day one and over a year now. I have seen zero improvement or fixes to the behavior. (Yes, I keep the app and firmware updated HOPING for improvement) The map function of the App is absolute trash. Designing rooms, no go zones, boundaries etc. is a very very poor interface that is unreliable and glitchy. If you do more than a couple edits/designs, it will crash while trying to save and will lose all of your edits and maybe entirely wipe your map. (It’s not my phone, it’s the awful app). Randomly , rooms and no-go zones just disappear after being there for months. The map is essentially degrading and disappearing over time. Which is infuriating, because it can take 10, 20, 60+ minutes to design rooms, no-go zones, etc. The vacuum only periodically obeys no-go zones. Ridiculous to hear it riding up and slamming on stuff that it shouldn’t and clearly has correctly obeyed the no-go zone in the past, but you periodically hear it banging around, slamming, and leaving damaging marks on things the things I wanted it to stay away from. (Things like the base of a standing lamp that is too short for it to bump into and sense an obstacle, but it would instead try to climb it as a ramp and get stuck, banged around, scraping against, etc.) It will sometimes argue with “cliffs” like edge or stairs, correctly identifying a drop off, but instead of logically understanding a straight line of the cliff, it will spin around in circles trying to find it’s way through, like trying to go around a table leg. Speaking of table legs: when it encounters an obstacle… That it should have seen with its eyes, it will bump and try to navigate around it. As it does, it does LESS than a 0 point turn. Meaning, it will bump into something, a corner, a table leg, etc. and try to go around it, but not even giving it enough room to just go around. It will keep turning into the same spot as it imagines it’s way around it. A simple 90 degree corner, it will sense it, and then turn sharper than 90 degrees, running into the wall, spinning it’s wheels to the point I worry about my floors and the wheel motors. It will often be totally clueless on how to make it back to the base, just wander around rooms it wasn’t sent to, make endless loops in a room until the battery dies, or take really indirect routes back to the base. Back to the app: when it tells you an estimate of how long it will take to clean 1 room, multiple rooms, or the whole map, it is WILDLY off on the timing. For example, I send it to do a 100 square foot room. It tells me it will take 877 minutes. Or course, it will go do it and be done in 20 min, but this is an example of how trashy it is. It does a poor job of getting corners, and vacuuming in general. ***The self emptying function is WONDERFUL and the only reason I haven’t drop kicked this thing into the trash. That, plus spending way too much money on it to stomach paying more for a better brand that actually knows what they’re doing in the robot world. I could go on, and on, and on about other issues with it, but trust me, don’t buy this model and probably don’t buy any Shark robot vacuum, because they apparently don’t employ decent developers and robotic engineers.

It mapped ok is all i can say for this, a crumb over 2 inches away from an end table and wasnt picked up, my old cheap ine i sent out and gone, it constantly stopped at the edge of a thin throw carpet on my wood floor and rubber mat by the frint door and said it was about to fall off the edge, each time i had to pick it up and move it elsewhere, it misses areas completely and when i send it to the base it goes in circles for minutes before figuring where home base is, needless to say i sent it back

My floors have never been do clean
I have a couple tall transitions in my house so I was concerned no robot could climb them. I was wrong, this vacuum does the trip. I watch it not be able to make the hike so it backed up and his it hard and made it. Highly recommend 👌

As odd as it might sound – as soon as Soos (my little friends name) turns on and starts to clean, I do so too! I figured well since I don’t have to worry about the vacuum – cleaning the kitchen and putting away laundry isn’t so bad. My best feedback on this – it works on high / deep pile carpet!!! It vacuums like a champ! I live with 2 kitties and have very long hair so I do need to clean the brush probably 2-4 times a month but it’s so easy to cut the hair off the roller. Do you need to vacuum at all manually? I would say yes – probably for a deep clean, I still do the manual vacuum once a month but this is godsend as Soos runs at least 1-2 times a week since one of my kitties has long fabulous hair. My kitties don’t mind him so much and have lost interest but the first few times – they were skittish. Make sure you have enough room for the docking station, meaning space all around so he can find his way back and dock. If you have problems with how he’s vacuuming, delete your map and remap! I did it once only because I kept rearranging my apartment lol. Does it last 60 days without emptying the bin, no and that’s because you would think Bigfoot lived here with the amount of hair that accumulates. If you have cats, deep pile carpet, need an extra pair of “hands” – this might work for you!

My first robot!
I was a little hesitant because of the low price, I bought it during black Friday/cyber Monday and when the sale ended it was $1 cheaper so that’s kinda shady. I have about 50/50 hard wood/carpet and it works really well. We named our robot Charlie, like the robot from Scooby Doo. My kid threw Reeses pieces on the floor, I asked him why he did it and he said “I was feeding Charlie”. After seeing how well it worked I actually changed out all of my couch legs with 8 inch ones, which gives enough clearance for it to do its thing. The only issues I’ve had is the brush roll getting clogged, but its super easy to disassemble and clean. Also worth noting if you have short hair it probably won’t have any issues at all. The only other issue was with the app, I tried deleting and remapping my house with more doors open. It seemed to work but it didn’t delete the first runs data, it still seems to function perfectly.

Wifi Connection is a real issue, along with support
Vacumme seems to work pretty well at cleaning. The app and connecting to wifi however are a struggle for this product. This is where many of the features live, and without having wifi connected, you do not get to use them. Support offers a constant run around and callbacks that simply don’t happen when scheduled. I’ll be retuning this product shortly if unable to resolve it.

This is without a doubt the best purchase I have ever made. 65 years old, I was easily able to complete setup and start cleaning. I have a white old English Bulldoggee that sheds like crazy. This has been a life changer for me! When the vacuum is full, it returns itself to the dock, empties and then returns to pick up where it left off. I am so incredibly pleased!

Works on pet hair
First impressions were not great BUT you need to give it time to map. It seems to improve the map each time it goes out and contrary to what some have said it does navigate in straight lines once it has improved its map. If you look in the picture you can see that while it has left some hair behind it is also noticeably better where ot has run. I have 2 Australian Shepherds and they shed like mad. I think if I run my shark navigator duo and then use this robot vac more often the results will be fantastic. If I had to offer a downside it would be battery life. I have a relatively large house and a large area rug. My living room is 24 x28. In order to get the area rug clean I have run it on max power. The brush has been jammed once but it is incredibly easy to remove and clean. I feel like my home is an unfair test and it has done well. If all you have is solid surface floors it would likely satisfy your needs. My rating is not compared to an upright vac but to what my expectations were. Lastly pet hair is just tough. My Shark Duo has been by far the best vac to pick that up. If they could put that technology into a robot vac it would blow most of the competition away

Works well on hard surfaces with pets
The media could not be loaded. I bought this for our converted barn/man cave which has both painted concrete and laminate floors – several dogs – and grandkids rolling through daily. It has a stuck roller a few times but it seems to happen when it finds things like a sucker stick hiding under furniture. It seems to be doing a very good job picking up dust and fur so far.

So far, I’m only on day two – but hear me out… I’ve done my entire main floor 4 times – and it keeps pulling pet hair from my commercial grade (crappy) carpets. Where was it all hiding?!! Who cares – it’s not there now! Setup was a breeze, mapped my main level in 20 minutes, set my zones and it was off in a flash. Battery takes forever to charge, but once it’s full – it’s good for the long haul. So happy with my purchase.

I really like this vacuum BUT shark no longer makes replacement parts for it. My first one stopped working 5 days before the warranty was up. I’m still waiting for a replacement but if that one breaks after a year there is nothing more that can be done. Not worth the money when it doesn’t last very long.
