This is my third shark vacuum. I am impressed by the suction power of this vacuum. However, it is very difficult to push on my longer carpet. I have adjusted the suction power to the lowest setting and still struggle. It also pushes around object that’s aren’t imbedded into the carpet. It won’t pick up cheerios, Barbie shoes, raisins or items of similar size. Because of that I would not recommend it to anyone with children.

Worst vacuum ever made
The design is terrible.l. I have owned four shark vacuums. This is by far the worst. The cord is too short. The button to release is inconvenient. The latches to empty the dust bin are inconvenient. Whoever designed this should be fired. It did not actually work on any form of carpet or rug., totally defective.The process to get it returned has been terrible. Buy a different model from a totally different location because Amazon is horrendous.

Even after adjusting the suction (which is a lame workaround for not having a height adjustment), it aggressively grabbed my carpet and beat it mercilessly. It was exhausting to push! The dust bin ended up with mostly carpet fibers. I’m sure it’s fine for other surfaces. It was relatively quiet with strong suction, but I had to return it.

I’ve heard Dyson this Dyson that, but this Shark gets everything clean, quickly, the first time. It’s lightweight and easy to breakdown to clean the stairs. It has been knocked over a time or two by children, and no quality issues whatsoever. It’s easy to clean the filters and the collection bin.

I purchased the Shark NV360 abt 2 months ago. I absolutely LOVE this vacuum. Let me start with saying it sucks up everything plus some! The tank is a good size so you are able to vacuum a large area for a while before emptying. The cord is long and I have no issues using the vacuum across the room from where it’s plugged up at. Its speed is great, does have a little noise to it. The only con that I have noticed that it is not lightweight. It’s def heavy duty. I would highly recommend and I would purchase this again if I had to.

Worth the money, love it!
My Family is so ruff on vacuums, so I didn’t want to spend too much on them. Then I gave this vacuum a try and it is awesome. It works so good, I have tile and thick luscious carpet I am very happy with it and it didn’t cost very much.

Not great
The design of how the suction is on one side of the rollers means not everything is getting picked up. The brush just flicks things away and even with the suction reduced it gets caught on carpeting. There is no way to adjust the brush height, and it is not easy to use the hose due to its short length.

My 2nd Shark Navigator
I liked my 1st Shark Navigator vacuum. It lasted a good 10+ years. Disappointed that this one didn’t have as many attachments and wish wand reached higher.

Rather disappointed. Decent vacuum but a few design flaws
Pros: The vacuum is lighter and more maneuverable than my old Shark. Cons: Dog hair/carpet fibers collect on one section of the canister due to a small plastic projection. When I emptied the canister – opening both the top and bottom – this area simply would not empty. My fingers aren’t long enough to push it through so my only option was to poke it out with a screwdriver. Also, the suction control is a bit wonky. It’s nowhere near as easy to use as the thumb-operated one on my old Shark, which was integrated into the hose. I wish they’d test these products more thoroughly in real-life situations. Anyone could have identified the issues with only one use.

Suction too strong
This vacuum was very difficult to operate. The suction was so strong I literally had to push it even after I adjusted the suction ring. I was concerned it would damage my area rugs. I had to return it.

Finally a Vacuum I Like
I researched so many vacuums and found that every single one had at least a few bad reviews, so I took a chance with this purchase. I couldn’t be happier. I thought my old vacuum was doing a decent job … until I used this one. It has so much power and is easy to maneuver. I did not give it a 5-star review only because I wish it had a longer hose when you lift away, but everything else far exceeded my expectations.

Better than my “ball” vacuum
I’ve been using a “ball” vacuum for 5 years that just died on me. I decided to try this one because I was never happy with the one I had. I found it heavy and inconvenient to do the stairs. This vacuum is AMAZING. The lift away feature is genius for doing stairs. This vacuum is also much more powerful than the more expensive one I’ve been using. The photo I posted shows how much hair and dirt were collected from just one bedroom after I had vacuumed only 3 days earlier with the “ball” vacuum. The canister is big and opens from the top and bottom, so nothing gets clogged which is a feature I greatly appreciate. No more digging out stuck fur and dirt. Overall I am hugely impressed with this vacuum and would absolutely recommend! 10/10

Not a new product
Well I feel like a dope but I can’t see where this said it was refurbished. It arrived in a battered box with a big sticker saying the warranty may be different because it’s refurbished. It looks to be in good condition but the quality is not on par with my older vacuum that I was hoping to supplement. I’m going to keep it because it can do light duty but I do not agree with the rave reviews of this vacuum. Not sure if that’s because it’s refurbished or just not that great suction. Will keep but would never recommend or buy again. Buyer beware.

This pocket is so light and easy to push. I have back issues and this is still so easy to use. This is my second Shark vacuum, and I have also bought Shark vacuums in the past, for each of my three girls.

dead in 22 months
I bought this Dec ’22. recently the brush stopped working. I took it apart and found the brush motor wires crimped. I repaired the crimps, but the brush motor was dead. boohoo!

Should’ve gotten another Bissel
My old Bissel worked 1000 times better than this vacuum. The sucking power is extremely minimal and the vacuum overheats after about 12min of use (with all filters freshly cleaned). Way overpriced for the value

Worked ok but broke in a year
Bought the vacuum 10/19/2023 – inital thought were it’s just a basic vacuum but for the price not bad. I’ve noticed the suction becoming worse over the last few months and today it just stopped working – won’t even turn on. Today is 10/21/2024 … how could it only last a year?!

Great vacuum!!!
Super fast delivery. I ordered it at 11pm and it got here by 4:30am the following morning. Very easy to put together. It’s surprisingly quiet. I was looking for a vacuum that can pick up pet hair and most importantly cat litter. This vacuum did not disappoint. The HEPA filter is definitely a plus.I could immediately tell a difference in the air quality compared to using my previous vacuum. I was shocked at the amount of dirt particles in the pod after vacuuming. My other vacuum was unknowingly leaving behind dirt and dust. This is definitely a game changer. I’m very impressed!!!

Too Much…
This vacuum is too much! The suction is so powerful it is extremely difficult to push on the carpet. Also, the lift-a-way section is also weirdly heavy for a lift-a-way. The dust canister is attached with two plastic pieces that could easily break off. All of this is odd because my current Shark vacuum was a fraction of the price and a much better vacuum. At first I was excited thinking it could be a 2 for 1 kinda deal…get clean carpets + a workout! It’s not worth the money to break out in a sweat to simply vacuum the house. Sending this tank back to the warehouse.

Effective, flexible, performs well but somewhat heavy
This is a review of the Shark NV360, mostly to answer criticism by others that the very good suction makes it difficult to push. That criticism is well-founded for thicker carpets, but on my low-pile carpets not only was the pulling of the vacuum (toward the user) not too difficult with suction set on minimum, but the pushing of the vacuum was actually aided by the motor-driven brush, making the vacuum almost into a self-propelled unit. The ball joint operation was very useful. Emptying could be improved, requiring some bending to disengage the dust cup, and then use of the fingers to extract all of the lint from the complicaated interior shape of the dust cup. Note the only accessory supplied is a crevice tool. The tool is intended to be used, I guess, by disengaging the handle and pipe from the unit; but that makes for a heavy lift. Finally, I found it might pay to comparison-shop Shark cleaners at other stores.

It’s top heavy
It does a good job on the carpet and has plenty of suction but trying to use tools is difficult. The sweeper is top heavy, you can’t stretch the hose without the sweeper crashing to the floor. The tool holder doesn’t hold the tools very securely and they are constantly falling off. If you don’t plan on using the tools very much then this is a good sweeper. It has plenty of suction for hard wood floors or tile. I only gave it three stars because of the hose and tools

Not for plush carpet
This works well on low pile carpet and bare floors. It’s impossible to push on plush/high pile carpet. Very hard to push; I can’t use it at all. My husband does that part and even he struggles.

Used it Once – Returned it
This was a replacement for an older Shark that has seen better days. The only reason for two stars is the suction is exceptional. Otherwise, I’d give it one star. Other than that, I have to wonder who designed this thing!! As others have mentioned, the weight distribution with this vacuum is terrible. You can see it wanted to tip over even when it’s just sitting unused. I think even a slight breeze will cause this vacuum to fall over backwards. The curved hose at the bottom of the carpet beater is in a terrible spot. If you’re looking to navigate around a corner on that side, forget it. The design forces you to make only “left hand turns.” The canister is large which is both good and bad. Unfortunately the bad outweighs the the good in this case. A larger canister means less frequent need to empty it. Okay, great. But it’s so big that it constantly gets in the way if you’re looking to vacuum under a piece of furniture. Finally… and as seems to be the case with all Shark corded vacuums… The power cord it TOO DARN SHORT!! When is Shark going to finally listen to the years of customer complaints about this? This seems to be the simplest of fixes, but it has gone ignored for years. No more Shark vacuums in my future.

Very good vacuum for a decent price.
Great little machine for floors and wall to wall carpeting. It doesn’t like the smaller 5×8’s or 5×3’s or oriental type area rugs. Not sure if it’s because of the awesome suction or if it’s because it only has one roller on the bottom. It’s lightweight, cleans very well, love the way it tilts to get into tight spaces and the narrower part that’s on the floor that gives the ability to get between and behind furniture. There are also useful attachments. This is my second shark; one for upstairs and one for downstairs. I hate my Dyson. I parked it in the garage. Love my lift away Sharks.

This vacuum is alright, but not great. If you have pets with long hair, the rollers get clogged and need to be cleaned every single time you use it. The attachments and the removal option from the base is nice but I don’t use it enough to be worth it. Not the best option for house with pets!! If you don’t have pets it’s probably fine

Only Worked For Two Sessions
Generally, I’m an avid five star reviewer for Shark products, I’ve never been so disappointed in a vacuum. I should have bought a $30 from Walmart. Literally was able to use this vacuum only TWICE to vacuum my pet free livingroom, bedroom, and hallway. The third time I used it, it wasn’t picking up anything and then it just stopped working. No power, nothing. I cleaned the filter, dried it, checked all the compartments, let everything sit for literally a week. Attempted to vacuum again today and it turned on, wasn’t picking up really anything, and then lost power after about 4 minutes. I’ve only had this vacuum for about a month. Absolutely not happy at all and I can’t seem to get in contact with anyone who can figure out what the problem is.

I don’t typically write reviews but I’m disappointed and want to share. It’s heavy, top heavy and feels like it’s going to fall over. The detachable handle is clunky and heavy, no long attachment to get to high or low places without a stool or having to bend down. The canister doesn’t empty without using some force or assistance with something you can reach in and dig out dust and debris. Disappointed…too late to return.

Not suitable for Shag carpet
Although I like the shark brand, I was very disappointed that this vacuum cleaner does not work with shag carpet. The moment you try it on the belt stops moving or shag carpet, so it provides very little suction.

Stay away.
Everything about this product is great. But instead of sucking up the dirt it just pushes it around. Not kidding i must have attempted to scoop up the same piece of dirt 10x. You see the vacuum shoot the dirt across the room. Very annoying.
