Just didn’t want to hassle with it all again. I threw it in the trash. I wouldn’t waste my money on this brand again.

Always room for improvement
I have several of these in my big trucks and I enjoy the freedom that they offer this last one that I purchased on Amazon seems to run for about 100 hours and then it turns itself off. That’s the only reason I didn’t give it five stars it comes back on easily but Would rather it did not turn itself off. Maybe someone knows how to make it stay on continuously like the rest of my older ones.

Hidden Shutdown with Low Draw
I purchased this 3,000 watt inverter to replace a working 1,500 watt inverter. I have them in my fifth wheel and like the Bluetooth function to be able to control it from inside the trailer. I never had a problem with the 1,500 watt inverter shutting down randomly when I had it on. The 3,000 watt inverter will shut down randomly even when I have it powering my Starlink system and Blink security cameras. So it makes it very unreliable for using as a power source for the security cameras. I have to restart it and then wait for it to power up Starlink and then the wireless cameras. I have two cameras that are mounted high on the trailer so to get the working again I have to climb up and remove them from the housing and reboot them. If the manufacturer thinks this is a feature it would be nice to have it in the literature and installation. And if it’s a feature then it would be nice if the user could turn it off. I’ve purchased a different inverted to power the Starlink system and the cameras and hopefully it will solve the problem.

Unit defective and no spare parts available
I purchased this unit for an off-grid application to convert my 12v solar power to 120VAC to run my small water transfer pump. Unit comes with a removeable control panel and extension cord so that you can remotely mount the control panel. This power inverter was properly mounted and the extension cord was used to remotely mount the control panel. After being away from my cabin for a few days, some mice infiltrated my cabin and destroyed the extension cord as well as the cord coming from the circuit board. I contacted Road Pro brands to purchase a spare cable and was informed that they don’t have access to any spare parts for this unit. They sell this inverter with the extension cord but fail to mention in the owners manual that the wiring needs to be protected from rodents which are prevalent in off grid applications. Since spare parts are not available, I am left holding a useless $240 piece of junk. The wiring harness from the circuit board should be redesigned so that there are no exposed wires from the inverter that could be damaged by rodents when using the extension cord. The extension cord is a simple 6-wire telephone cord which is readily available but there is no replacement for the cord from the circuit board to the control panel. Customer service was unwilling to work with me regarding a replacement and took no responsibility for the obvious design flaw with this unit.

Well I got the inverter and guess what it shot off by itself every 12 or 14 hours it almost damaged my frozen food so don’t buy it iam gonna return it and I mecanic charged 120 $ to install the inverter they better paid me for that as well because shop not gonna do it for free

I use this for my 43’ motorhome, so I don’t have to run the generator just to watch tv. It’s awesome!!! I can watch my satellite tv, and also have a fan running to keep me cooled off. I have not tested if this will actually run an air conditioner unit yet. But I really don’t need that.
