Opinions about this product were divided in such a proportion among the buyers.
I bought one of these 3,000 watt to replace another brand that failed under warranty and had a question after installation. I sent off an email and got a response pretty quick. It’s nice to have support. The failed under warranty brand has yet not responded.
This thing looks great, and when you’re using it there are no flickers or weird noises. The problem is that, with nothing plugged in, it was using sometimes 400w! It will drain your battery quickly

Question Bank: Providing the Answers You Seek
What is a pure sine wave power inverter, and how does it differ from other types of inverters?A pure sine wave power inverter produces electricity that is very similar to the power supplied by utility companies. It generates a smooth and consistent wave, which is essential for running sensitive electronic devices without interference. This contrasts with modified sine wave inverters that produce a stepped, approximated wave, which can cause issues with some electronics and appliances.
Can I use this inverter to power my entire RV or off-grid solar system? This inverter is capable of providing up to 3000 watts of continuous power, which may be sufficient for many appliances and electronics commonly used in RVs and off-grid solar systems. However, you will need to calculate the total wattage of the devices you wish to run simultaneously to ensure this inverter meets your power requirements.
How do I install this power inverter in my vehicle or solar system?Installation typically involves connecting the inverter’s DC input terminals to your 12V battery system, ensuring proper polarity. It is also important to use the correct gauge of cables for the distance and power requirements. Additionally, ensure that the inverter is mounted in a well-ventilated space to prevent overheating. For detailed instructions, always refer to the manufacturer’s manual.
What safety features does the inverter have? The inverter has passed FCC, CE, and ROHS certifications, ensuring that it meets safety and quality standards. It likely includes features such as over-voltage, under-voltage, overload, short-circuit, and over-temperature protections to safeguard your devices and battery.
How do the USB ports and Type-C port benefit users? The inclusion of USB ports and a Type-C port allows for the convenient charging of smartphones, tablets, and other USB-powered devices without the need for additional adapters. The Type-C port is particularly beneficial for newer devices that use this connection for fast charging and data transfer.
Can this inverter run heavy-duty appliances like refrigerators or air conditioners?Whether this inverter can run heavy-duty appliances depends on the power requirements of the appliances. It can handle loads up to 3000 watts continuously, so you would need to check the wattage of your specific appliances to determine compatibility. Keep in mind that starting power for such appliances can be significantly higher than their running power.
Does the inverter come with a warranty, and how do I claim it if needed?Manufacturers of power inverters often provide a warranty that covers defects in materials and workmanship. To claim the warranty, you would typically need to contact the manufacturer with proof of purchase and details of the issue. It’s important to check the warranty terms and conditions provided by the manufacturer at the time of purchase.

Works
This is written soon after setting up, so things may change. I am hooking this into a 24V, 100Ah LFP battery. I added an Anderson 175A quick connector to the supplied cable as this is meant for a portable setup. I also added an anti-spark circuit. While some people manually touch resisters and wires together to pre-charge the caps, my normal mode is to have a separate circuit designed for lower power that I hook up first to charge the caps with and then hook up the main circuit. Really, if you are going to be using this in a portable fashion, you will be thanking yourself for doing this down the road or at least not cursing because you can’t get it to work with destroyed and heavily oxidized connectors and blown caps due to all of the sparking and abrupt high “short circuit” inrush currents and such. While I just set this up and haven’t gone through all of the paces yet, so far I have only found a few minor cons: 1. As is as this is used as an “independently derived system”, I used the terminal block to wire neutral to ground. I found hot and neutral are mislabeled on the front, which the socket tester quickly spotted, so I switched to the right conductor. Now it passes the wiring test. As you could fry something if you don’t go through the paces / have an unsafe setup or say with your camper / RV, end up having your RV reject the power, I thought this was important to point out. 2. The supplied DC battery wiring does get a little warm while pulling 2,400W through the inverter. The measured voltage drop between no load and 2,400W was 0.1V, so the voltage drop is still small over this wiring. Just pointing out that may be a future upgrade to a thicker gauge to keep the wiring cool. Thinking 2 AWG wiring may be a better idea as this looks to be 4 AWG. Probably not an issue really. Though the calculation is ~10W of power dissipated over this short cable, which does bug me a little. 3. The 110V/120V button on the RCU seems to cause an error message. Really, not sure why this button is there. Anything can take up to 125V, which this will never exceed and lower voltages mean easier to brown out over extension cables. For pros of this unit: 1. It seems I can load up both of the supplied 120V outlets to sum up greater than 1,500W. This is actually how I got up to 2,400W in my testing with the limit there I didn’t want to push the battery harder. I can still wire up to the terminal block if I want to, which I do have a TT-30 extension cable. Granted with a battery – inverter setup I can usually place close to the load. 2. It has a nice and useful display. 3. Overall, it does seem like a nice unit that will do the job I have for it.

so far so great
The media could not be loaded. the fans are loud, but no louder than my 12v 3k inverter. so many fans in my off grid system that i can’t tell which one is which. i love the lit digital display and remote display. I don’t have to push any buttons as it’s lit all the time. comes with wires if you need to connect it to a battery system. i would definitely purchase again.

Seems well made
Have not run it yet…will update review then . Been buying inverters for decades and this is the first one that had good cables. Always discard cables the previous inverters came with. Good sign when a company thinks about something as important as good cables. Looks well made. like the accessories it came with.

Built quality
Exterior quality is superb, very nice feel and so with the looks. The only thing is that when u go over 45C temp. Is too loud for me. My application was window AC hook up to my off grid solar sys. And i put this about 6ft away frm my bed. So every time the cooling fan kicks in, its loud. But if u put this away where u could isolate the noise then i highly recommend this PSW inverter. Plus the customer service guyz are the best, hands down.

First one went bad.
The reason I’m giving this a 5 star is because the first one went out on me. I didn’t use it in my trailer until after the 30 days had passed for a return. I contacted the company, they gave me ways to test it which I did and attached pictures. They sent me a new one and it’s been working great. Customer service was great!

Just got it – 1st impressions so far are good
I have a few applications where a 1500W inverter is about right for my needs. After much careful consideration I purchased this unit. It actually comes with (mostly!) a few extra items: 4 40A fuses, 2 cables, a wrench, remote, display/remote with freakishly LONG cable and a printed manual! (who does that anymore!) Granted the included manual comically does NOT have a page with an image of this EXACT model, my model however it was in an included table. Hooking it up to a fully charged 100Ah LFP was simple, BUT with a surprise – attaching the 2nd wire gave an alarming “spark” connecting it! LOL!! No worries but be warned that some equipment WILL do that when they’ve been off for some time. Once the On/Off was switched on I could then switch the inverter on & off via the wired remote and change from 110V or 120V output. Since the LFP I was hooked to is “smart” with current & voltage monitoring, the inverter being simply attached and on or off without a load did not present enough of a load on the battery to register. (more later when I get something to check the output) I do find that the manual has some rather (err) ‘silly’ calculations. For example, most (if not all) ‘coffee makers’ that I’ve ever seen (for consumer use) are strictly RESISTIVE devices and present a resistive load. BOTH in the water heating and optional pot heating pad. So a 1000W coffee maker would use: 1000*1.1=1100W (the rated %90 efficiency of the inverter ADDS TO the wattage used from the battery!) = 1100/12 = 91.66A*(0.16 for 10min or 0.25 for 15min) = 22.91Ah used to make coffee. 100Ah – ~23Ah = ~77Ah battery capacity remaining. 🙂 I DO have a 600W ‘cooking output’ microwave that I can see about trying with this inverter. IMHO while it will use WAY MORE than 600W, it ought to work just fine on a 1500W/3000W peek inverter however I currently only have a SINGLE 100A battery attached so if the inverter draws >100A from the battery, the batteries BMS might shut off the power draw. I will update later.

Great to have 2000w
I live this inverter. The only thing that concerns me is the size. I thought it was smaller in size. I have limited space in my camper but I’m sure it will work well. The quality seems good and the value for the money is imperative. Easy to install and love the shutoff feature.

Daniel –
Weird current draw
When the inverter first powers up it seems to run just fine drawing very little current. Over time, it keeps drawing more and more current until it gets to about 150-200W or about 8A at 24V. The manual says it should draw 0.7A. Also the power output seems very dirty. Lights that are plugged in flicker randomly. My intended application was to keep it continuously powered and charged by 200W solar panels but that obviously isn’t realistic for this device. I would suggest looking at other options.

Not a true pure sine wave inventor!!!! 0 stars
For 110 – 120 v electrical items that do not need pure sine wave – it does not work. It does not work for 110 – 120 v electrical items that need pure sine wave it does not work!!!! My freezer and my 2015 Leaf need a pure sine wave. I plugged them into the inventor (connected to 3 200 AH batteries and inventory ground connected to a 4-foot copper pole in the ground), and each of the two items displays an error. I borrowed a friend’s Renelogy 2000-watt pure sine wave inventory and had no issues.

Works for Emergency Power from My EV
I trialed it by running my freezer in my garage and my fridge in my house for about 45 minutes. I intentionally left the doors open for a minute when I started to warm both up and make sure there was a load. I saw the temp in the fridge drop from 50F down to 40F so I know it was working (besides hearing the fridge run). I was a little worried about it being 110V but that didn’t seem to be a problem. When first plugging in I saw load go up to about 1600W from the display on the inverter, otherwise it was running at about 200-300W, with both fridge/freezer plugged in. All wires stayed cool to the touch. The inverter got slightly warm to the touch but has fans that will kick on if needed. I used my Bolt EUV car battery for the 12V supply. I simply used the jumper clamps but if I were to use it more frequently or for longer I would probably getter 2 gauge cables and connectors. With the car on I saw the supply to the inverter reading 14.5V. The vehicles high DC voltage to low DC voltage converter is supposed to be able to put out about 1200W, so shouldn’t have issues with the 12V car battery dying. Based on this trial, I should be able to keep my fridge/freezer cold for days plus run other household electronics, no problem. For now this is just for power outage emergencies for me and this inverter is quick, easy and seems like it will do the job I need it to when the time comes.

I am writing a first impression of this inverter as I have not, as yet, even installed it: I am impressed with the User Manual first of all. It is very descriptive (even though it doesn’t mention the 1500W model). I noticed that It says 2 AC outlets in the description. However, it has a third that accepts the three-round-prong type of plug. I guess that’s for export to countries that use round-prong type. I am mpressed with the style of the inverter – it looks very well made. However, as I mentioned that is first impression … I plan to update this review when I install it and when I’ve used it for awhile. The price was reasonable and it came with both wireless, and wired remote. Cables (not sure heavy enough), and even a wrench for installation. Impressive! I hope it performs as well as it looks. UPDATE: I have to admit I’m a bit confused with the formulas they use to calculate battery and inverter needs. I use a CPAP machine that uses 2.5 amp at 110v. According to the manual it only needs a 247.5 W inverter. But when I do the other formulas they tell me that I can only run the CPAP for 3.9 hours on a 100 Ah battery. When I do the formula on battery size, sure enough it says I need a 203 Ah battery to run for 8 hours. Funny thing is … I am now using that same CPAP in my other RV and it only uses 17 amps for the whole night (8 hours) and that includes using RV lights, etc. That is without any charging system attached. SOLUTION: I can only deduce that the 2.5 amps of the CPAP machine is for when it is using the hearer – which I don’t. The CPAP without the humidifier must only be drawing slightly over 1 amp. That would then make sense. WHEW!

Pure sign wave/clean power, as advertised makes me feel confident running electronics with this inverter. Fans are very quiet. It even changes via the USB ports without unit being turned on/using more 12V battery power than needed. Will provide 100 watts using the cigarette lighter adapter is another benefit for light loads like my laptop or phones. Love it!

Using this 1200W inverter with a 100-watt panel and 100Ah LiFePo4 eco-worthy battery. It ran my 750W fan heater for a touch over an hour. I like the smaller size and the included manual. Battery cables get warm but not hot. It is 110V as opposed to normal 120V output. The 750W output gets measured as higher wattage on the display (3.6% high). The voltage on the display reads 111V. The cable power connector probably needs some care in rough usage, but mine is just for a quick connection in a power outage. They recommend using a battery with a capacity of 150AH or more (would like to know the theory there.) For the price this should fit my needs for now. Update Feb.12/24 Have to lower stars 5 to 3. It stopped working. Got a quick refund from company. Not sure the cause. Perhaps high internal temperatures in the smaller inverter form “cooked” it (just speculation) or maybe fuse blown, but cannot see where to add the provided fuses. Would not suit my need for emergency power.

It doesn’t work.
Small capacitor fell out the back fan. It reads I have 14 volts and low current F12 code with 4 batteries running in the truck… looks nice and solid. Am I missing anything.?

Have not in stalled it for use as yet.

QUALITÉ
Tout de métal, silencieux, beaucoup mieux que je le croyais. Fonctionne TRÈS BIEN. Avec un load de 1000w, en continu, aucun problème…

Awesome !
I was looking for an inverter, and was torn between renogy and this one. After reading the reviews, it was a no Brainer. Saved a lot of money, and if it works as good as it looks, I got a deal. And with 2.5 year warranty, can’t go wrong !

Great product
Great product for the price no problems yet. Using it on a diy portable battery back up

It works well. I would recommend charging option to make it useful for a solar system running on an MPPT controller. Without it being a charger batteries can empty and loads will have no power.

good product, we still wait how long they work, for now averything going well. litle heat but good. it’s work 24/7 24hr with no problem.

works as intended. I had it load at 1300 watts on the 1200 watt inverter. It failed as expected. Up to the 1200 watts (rated capacity) it worked great. Hard to determine longevity but the quality of the build seems ok and seems like it may last a long while

I have used this product in my truck and it’s works great have no complaints.

Bought the 1200w inverter to replace my old 1500w modified wave one. Not many reviews when I bought it; liked its modern compact design with type-C USB port, wireless remote control, and other accessories, so took a little risks buying it. It turned out to be worth it. Hooked it up with my fully charged 100ah lifePO4 lithium battery, tested it with a 300W rice cooker with 3 cups of rice, and a 800W Air Fryer running for 10 minutes; It did its job. Later on, went for a camping trip, the wife used it to cook a congee breakfast and fully charged her cell phone before the battery ran out of power. Used 1.0 AWG wire to connect it to the battery terminals. The inverter terminals are a little small for the 1.0 AWG wires rings, so I custom made two adapters for them and wrapped with electrical tape and plastic wrappers. They have been working well, so far so good.

Phantom drain is real
This thing looks great, and when you’re using it there are no flickers or weird noises. The problem is that, with nothing plugged in, it was using sometimes 400w! It will drain your battery quickly
