Took this camping with me and used it to inflate 3 air mattress. I had to use 2 extension cords to reach our tents from the front the front of my car. In order for it to have the power I had to connect it to my car battery. It worked perfectly.

Loud and strong, but short lived
Functioned well out of the box, though was quite loud. Also, when we plugged an Apple lightning charger into it, you cannot type on the phone. The keyboard goes wild. It’s very strange. Happened with multiple phones. The most disappointing thing is that this weekend, it suddenly stopped working. I’m not really sure what happened. Good choice is you need a powerful inverter and don’t mind the noise or can put it in the back of a vehicle. I wouldn’t buy again because of the noise, though, or because of how quickly it stopped working.

Will Not Power A Reciprocating saw
Tried to power a $30 electric reciprocating saw from Walmart and it shorted out the power inverter right away. Before that only used it to charge a drill battery. one plug used never used two plugs at the same time worked fine for my drill charger but light would be dim on my battery charger still did the job though. Also had phone charger plugged in (usb) at the same time charged my phone fast

I wanted to give this product a run for the money so I let the kids sleep in the boat in the garage and plug in a TV in and an Xbox to the inverter, (I had the battery on the charger all night so it would not run down.) Needed more powet
I needed to be able to power 2 computers (among other things) in my car at the same time. I usually keep a computer and my heating pad plugged into it at the same time, and it hasn’t missed a beat! The cord is super short (the unit doesn’t even reach the floorboard), so I opted for some super heavy duty 3M plastic Velcro, and that fixed that whole issue.

I have tested it on my car and unfortunately it didn’t work on my heating pad. I was planning to return but husband said he may use for his laptop. It worked well and I wanted to test out a teeny tiny waffle maker. Well…. It fried the fuse in my car lol! But thankfully, the inverter still works! Husband was able to replace the fuse the next day and it’s working brand new again. Tip: Do your research before using the inverter with any kind of technology. Yes, especially a waffle maker.

Very LOUD.
This was marketed as having a “silent fan”. Thats a blatant lie. The fan is always on and its very loud. Louder than a desktop PC. Even with music on in your car you can hear it running. Annoying! I purchased it for that reason of it being silent, and it doesn’t do that at all, so I have to give it my very rare 1 star review for lying to make a buck.

This works well, but the fan is pretty loud. I’ll be working in close proximity to it so the fan noise is a concern for me. There is nothing wrong with the fan. It would be nice if the fan was attached to a temp sensor so the noise could be reduced to when it was needed.

Could not power a 300 watt coffe cup.
This inverter is rated for 400 watts but kept tripping out after a few seconds of supplying a 300 watt coffe mug. After 3 tries it would no longer work at all. The coffe mug works fine on houshold current but this unit could not supply it. Just a standard resistance type heater coil built into the mug.

I’ve had the product a little over a year and it stopped working about 6 months ago. I only used it 3 or 4 times before it stopped working. It shows that it is on but does not respond to anything that is plugged into it. I wasn’t using it much and figured I was out of warranty and forgot to leave a review but now that I need to use it, it is disappointing that it didn’t even last a year.
