Took this camping with me and used it to inflate 3 air mattress. I had to use 2 extension cords to reach our tents from the front the front of my car. In order for it to have the power I had to connect it to my car battery. It worked perfectly.

It works as expected but the fan is quite loud and the on off switch only operates the fan, not the actual unit. The actual unit is on as long as it’s plugged in to an outlet, so I would imagine you could end up with a dead battery if your car doesn’t have a cigarette lighter than is fused to ignition (I’ve only even seen that on my Mazda though)

This product works okay. There is noticeable fan noise. Not super loud. But it is definitely there. Why does it weigh so much? What is inside this little thing? Strange. I wish the two AC power plug things weren’t so close together. If you want to plug in your charger brick and the brick is the tiniest bit larger than the plug hole itself, then you are stuck using one plug. The other one gets covered. Feels like some details didn’t get hammered out. I’d much rather have a slightly wider power source and have two accessible ac power slots. So just okay.

Stopped working during first use
Plugged an Xbox into it and it blew a fuse and stopped working completely the thing burned out to I guess as now no matter where I plug it in it doesn’t work at all

Great inverter but the cord could be much longer.
This unit comes with a very short power cord which depending on your vehicle, makes a big difference in usability. I’d use the inverter much more if it had a longer cable. My new Ram only has a power receptacle on the top of the dash, so I have to put it on the dash as well, which isn’t convenient. I am sure I can find a replacement here on Amazon or eBay, but it would be better if the manufacturer just included a longer cord in the set. Size definitely matters here…

This is the lowest price, highest quality, quietest, coolest, most powerful unit we’ve ever had. Literally cool as a cucumber after running for 12 hours powering my monstrous work laptop. You really don’t hear it, and I can lie it on the seat leaning on my leg. No warmth. I don’t know how they’re doing it. But this is the one.

Works Beautifully but Cigarette Lighter Sockets Alone Cannot Provide 400W
I use this to run my laptop and keep my phone charged when I’m on the road. It may be able to produce 400W if hardwired, but you can’t get 400W out of a cigarette lighter socket. Still, the 120W I can get out of it does anything I might need it for. The cord is only two feet long, which could be better, but it still does the job for a great price.

We purchased this inverter for use of powering our laptops and charging other devices while we were in our car. The cooling fan works great, the inverter does not get hot even if it is on all day long. It does its job very well. The 2 USB ports are great for our phones. What I do not like is that the 2, 120v plugs are too close together to use with some chargers at the same time. The 12 volt power plug in our car does not work. We use a extension power cord that I purchased at loves to connect directly to the car battery, with alligator clips. So the power supply to this inverter is the best it can be.

Update 4/12/23 – Geargo has been really easy to work with. Once they realized there was an issue with the product, they were very quick to make it right. Received the replacement and so far, it is working well. Product itself is nice and feels sturdy. I also like the blue color. I plan on using the inverter for my laptop while I am travelling for business. Thank you again for being helpful and easy to work with. Original – Bought this product because a coworker recommended it. I used it for the first time and no matter what is plugged into the device it will not charge and the red-light flashes as if something is tripped inside. My coworker has the same model in black and his works perfectly. Would like to get it repaired or replaced and will update review once completed.

The product was a little bigger than I expected but works great. It is a little loud with the fan but does exactly what I bought it for which was to charge my laptop while I am on the road. I have not tried it for anything else yet. I would recommend. The cord isn’t very long but is sufficient.
