I had been eyeing this machine for years after seeing it on social media. I couldn’t pull the trigger because it is expensive and the reviews were a bit mixed. When I saw it for sale with a steep discount during Prime day, I finally committed and I am so glad I did. I am a busy mom of 4 who just doesn’t have time to mop everyday (or week unfortunately). We have tile in the kitchen and hardwood floors where we eat. The kitchen tiles were NEVER clean. I sometimes steamed them twice in a row and then used a regular mop and the floors still didn’t pass the “paper towel” test. Enter Tineco. As soon as I charged it for the first time I did my tiled floors. I did 2 rounds just because I wanted to give the machine a fair shot on floors that never seemed to get clean. Oh my gosh, for the first time EVER there was no residue on a paper towel when I wiped the floor. None whatsoever. I’ve seen complaints about the battery but I have a 3600 sq ft house. I bought the combo (more in that later) which I think has a shorter battery life than the regular Tineco — I can still do my whole first floor before the battery even gets to 30%. I did my entire kitchen, eat in area, living room, dining room, and the first floor bathroom tonight and it was at 40%. I did have to clean the dirty water tank once and add fresh water but I don’t mind. I bought the combo — I wish I would have bought just the regular one. I have yet to use the hand vac and I honestly don’t think I ever will. I can just use our regular vacuum if I need to get into tight crevices. That is my only regret with this machine. Cleaning is a breeze. I had an issue the first time running the self clean — it kept telling me to clean the dirty water tank even though it was clean. I ended up just manually starting the self clean function and it worked like a charm. This machine saves me so much time and now my floors are clean. It takes not even 5 minutes to clean the machine when I’m done (wash the dirty water tank, the roller, wipe down the machine, etc) and that’s because I really want to take care of the machine. You probably don’t need to be as diligent as I am. I did notice it leaves slight streaking on my darker hardwood floors (nothing on my light hardwood). It is minimal and doesnt bother me whatsoever. All in all, I love this machine and so far I don’t regret this purchase whatsoever. I hope this review helps someone who may be contemplating!
I bought the machine three months ago. It is not working correctly. You have to put it on the charger to start the machine. I called the company they had me ship the machine back for repair receive the machine back with the same issue now they want to send me a refurbished machine! After spending almost $500 on a new machine, I have to except a refurbished machine. And they threaten you if you put a negative review.

Great… for about 3-5 Minutes! Then you’re out of luck and probably frustrated!
When I got this I was super excited, and when I started to use it worked great… for all of 5 minutes. Here is the thing, once the dirty water tank gets full (which occurs in about 3-5 minutes, if that, not long enough to finish a single spill in the kitchen) the sensor thinks the dirty water tank is full regardless of whether you just emptied it. Then then machine doesn’t turn on or let you use the vacuum because it just keeps yelling at you to empty the dirty water tank… even though it’s empty, and there is no way to override it. Essentially once it’s wet, you’re done. So whatever small portion of the room you were able to do when it let you use it is all your going to get until it drys and lets you use the vacuum again. I even tried drying it off and still it would tell me the dirty water tank was full. I really wouldn’t mind how quickly the dirty water tank fills up (can probably finish 1/3-1/2 a hallway before it’s full) if after you emptied it the dirty water tank the first time the vacuum would still work. But no, after it’s 3-5 minutes of use it’s essentially a paper weight. And I’ve tried everything. I held off on writing this review for over a month to try everything, but no luck and from what I have read online, this is a constant and reoccurring problem! Can’t even finishing cleaning up one spill in the kitchen before it shuts down and you can no longer get it to work. Unless your looking for more frustration in your life, I absolutely would not waste the money on this product.

Pros and Cons
Pros: It mops and vacuums well. It almost moves on its own reducing the need to apply force moving forward. It lets you know when the dirty water container needs to be emptied or clean water needs to be added. I know it really cleans the floors because the water in the dirty water tank is filthy. Cons: it doesn’t clean the gap between tiles. The battery drains very quickly, in my opinion. It uses ~1% for every 2 seconds of use, so I have to recharge it after cleaning each level of my house. Overall, I recommend it.

This is the best thing ever. It’s easy to use and lightweight. I love the self cleaning feature. It got a spot off my hardwood floor I haven’t been able to get off. Cleans my floor great but it is impossible to get the dirty water tank clean enough to run the self cleaning cycle….and I have really tried. I’ve watched you tube videos (the diagrams included with the machine are hard to decipher) and taken the machine completely apart and thoroughly cleaned every part but apparently it is not enough!! Its amazing for about a year. After the year it starts falling apart. The plastics piece that sits over the charger piece fell off and it will not charge unless its on there i have to tape it on. The sensors fail and say the dirty water tank is full when its completely empty. We only use the appropriate tineco floor cleaning solution that is way over priced. This is my 3rd tineco and they all have had issues after a year and i have to replace it. But im done i cant keep spending 5-600 on a machine that needs replaced after a year. Save your money and fine somthing that will hopfully last longer.

Where have you been on my life?!
I have cats, dogs and a contractor husband, and I don’t know how I did life without this. The fact that you don’t have to vacuum before your mop has been game changer for me. And on ease of uses, I give it an A+ I only use their products in it because I think they do the best job and smell the best even though they may be a little more than other brands. Again a must for a home with multiple pets. And because I use it so often, I just leave it sit out. The only thing I wish is that it didn’t lean so forward in the stand. But that’s just a personal preference and has nothing to do with functionality.

I’ve had mine for a little over a year now, and am overall happy with my purchase. There is a lot of hardwood flooring in the house, and manually mopping took way too long and was tiring. This makes it so much easier and in a sense faster, although the battery does die quickly. Pros: sucks up debris well, gets a good amount of dirt/grime off the floor – Easy to operate – saves time – worth the money if you hate mopping Cons: – really dirty areas may need a couple mop throughs, and doesn’t really get the stuck on bits – battery dies fast and takes about 4 hours to be fully charged – can malfunction after some time (i got protection plan for $40 and am filing a claim), but mine is starting to spew water at times. Still works tho, and it does get used a lot Overall, the main con for me is the battery because I have a lot of hardwood flooring, but if you have a smaller house or more carpeting it shouldn’t be an issue. In any case, I would repurchase yearly if I had to because it is still well worth it for me and does a decent job at mopping. Would recommend!

Good machine
This a good machine for the price. I refuse to spend $500 or $600 on a mop vacuum. It does the job. The only thing I don’t like is that it’s noisy, doesn’t reach the edges, and doesn’t fold down parallel to the floor to reach under furniture. Not sure why it needs to be connected to wifi.

Enjoy cleaning your floors
The media could not be loaded. I love the easiness of using this product. I hated the days I had to sweep and mop. Those days are behind me and I can have clean floor every day now. I love that it’s cordless and has a self cleaning function. I didn’t like that it doesn’t get all the way up to my wall. I don’t normally have the time to write reviews, and I don’t normally have the time to even clean my floor, but I do have a time to point out a very high quality product. This is one of them. The results on my polished concrete floor and my tile floors have been great, really great. Better than the sweep then mop jobs that the hired cleaners do for my external office and house. I found the setup and clean up to be relatively easy, not perfectly simple, because there are a few different parts. Those parts are necessary, given the functionality of the equipment, but overall once you use it once you get the idea of how it works. I think overall it’s a pretty intelligent design for the user. For my external office, I chose to get this product and not have my cleaning people clean it every two weeks as it is not a high use office, but we do like clean floors. This was the smart economical move. It will pay itself back in dividends. Again, I normally don’t write many reviews, but this product made me so happy that I figured if you like clean floors then you should shell out the money to get it.

Doesn’t work- don’t buy . . . Made in china and the lack of quality is obvious. The website for product assistance and returns is extremely poor and certainly not designed for English speaking people. Terrible product with terrible robot customer service.

NOT RECOMMENDED WORST PRODUCT EVER
The media could not be loaded. From day 1, it started giving me problems with the dirty water tank. When it was clean, it would stop working because it said it was full of water. My husband checked the dirty water tank and nothing seemed wrong. After letting it dry for a whole day, it started working again. And so as not to go through the return process, which I found tedious, I continued using it like that. Now it doesn’t even charge, it doesn’t recognize the base when I put it on. In theory, it’s incredible, but I can’t use it, so it’s the worst money spent. I’ve had a Dyson for 4 years and it has never let me down!

The media could not be loaded. I live in a large home with 3 kids and 4 large dogs. Our first floor has about 3000 square feet of LVP. I tend to do quick cleans daily for upkeep. Normally, I run our Dyson daily for dog hair and random kid messes then follow up with a quick mop every few days. When I saw the Tineco, I was so excited to cut this time in half and make evenings easier. Unfortunately, I was disappointed pretty quickly. In my opinion, it does not clean that well at all. I have to run it on max to get minor kid messes up – even if the mess has only sat for a few hours. If I run it on max and only clean our first floor, I have to empty the dirty water tank and fill the cleaning solution 5 times because it fills so quickly. This is sort of messy and time consuming which defeats the purpose of multitasking mopping and vacuuming in one. It takes as long as when I did a quick dry vacuum with my Dyson followed by a normal VMAI or Bissell cordless mop. The cleaning cycle needs to be done every time. I just stand there for 3 minutes waiting for it to be done and then the dirty water tank needs cleaned again. The charging station is finicky. I got ours for Black Friday 2024 and after using the product 2x per week for 4 weeks, the charging port stopped working. I had to get a knife to pop the metal piece out to keep it charging. So frustrating. There are pros though. I run the brushes through our washer after every use and then air dry. I have also replaced our filter and brushes with new ones once – after 3 weeks. I also like that it’s quiet and is great for allergies. Instead of redistributing dirty water, it puts out clean water and then sucks it up. I am questioning if I should return it after having used it for a month and I’m torn. I spent $350 for Black Friday and still feel that was too expensive. I would absolutely never pay full price. At the end of the day, I am keeping it solely for quick clean ups when a kid spills something or a dog tracks in mud. When it dies – which I anticipate will happen quickly – I will not be buying one again. Update – not even a day after writing this review, the whole machine stopped worked. It would work for a minute then shut off for no reason. Over and over. I had to return it. Waiting on my refund but based on others’ reviews, it may be a hassle.

I hate this thing.
The battery life is crappy. It doesn’t handle dog hair much less fruit loops. It is supposed to be able to suck up water when the tank is empty but it just shuts itself off instead. It always thinks the tank is full when it isn’t. I don’t think I’ve ever hated a device as much as I hate this one.

I absolute love this. It works so well. My floors were so clean after and passed the paper towel test. It suctions well/is light weight. I only wish the batter lasted a little longer.

Great machine but works only on new spills
Easy to pull out and clean up a mess but I find it has two drawbacks. One, it will not clean a dried spill. It does not scrub at all. So if it’s a new spill it’s great but if you wait an hour after your toddler splattered his yogurt, it won’t wash it off. Second, the dirty water tank fills extremely quickly! In a single kitchen run I’ll need to spill the water tank twice which is annoying. Battery life isn’t an issue for me, I know other reviewers complained about that. I don’t find the battery life too short at all. Overall definitely a big help keeping my floors clean. I’d say I use it twice every day on average.

Different packaging
I’m very disappointed with this purchase. Others received their machines in the white packaging, but mine came in the plain brown box shown in the second photo. This makes me feel like I was sent a refurbished or used product instead of a brand-new one!

My first one had a battery issue after a few years so I decided to upgrade. It is my favorite cleaning tool by far. It makes spot cleaning big messes less of a headache.

This piece of junk should have never been built! It won’t recognize the clean water tank 95 percent of time! Fight it constantly. When it does run it works great. WOW Vacuum
The media could not be loaded. Love this wet fry vacuum. It’s easy to use and handles liquid on the floor perfectly. It works as a vacuum and mop combo, which makes cleaning work so much easier. The vacuum itself can nicely stand on its own.

I was it’s biggest fan until…
It just stopped working one day after 5 months of use. I approached Amazon customer service three times and they didn’t take responsibility even though it supposedly has a two-year warranty. They try to get rid of me by sending me to talk to the manufacturer. The same thing happened to my mom and my sister’s Tineco, so I guess it’s a common defect they are aware of. Very disappointed.

Game changer!
Works too good. Makes me feel like my floors are filthy. Which apparently they are. The dirt this picks up is frightening. You will read about the cleaning of the tank and roller being time consuming but it really isn’t. You clean the floors, leave some clean water in it, press the self cleaning button then dump the black water tank. Fill the fresh water tank, check the roller and you’re ready for next time. Less than 4 minutes cleaning time. Don’t let it sit with dirty water in it. Just don’t. Enjoy what it can do.

Great while it worked, doesn’t last
Bought the S5 combo back in July 2024 and loved using it while it worked. In November of 2024 it kept telling us “clean water empty” even though the clean water tank was full. We contacted customer service and had to record videos and take photos of error as part of the support process. Ultimately, Tineco decided that we would have to send it in for repair and provided a UPS shipping label to send it back (for free). We packaged it up and sent it back and didn’t hear anything for about three weeks until we got an email that it was on its way back and the repair had been complete. We got the package and opened it up, excited to get back to using this as our mop. We filled the water, turned it on, and immediately got the same exact error. Looks like Tineco didn’t actually do anything to fix the problem and just sent it back. I looked at what could be causing the issue and ultimately determined that the issue was with the port that pulls water from the clean water tank. There are two screws that hold this “port” onto the device that were no longer attached to anything and made it so the clean water tank could never fully seat into the port. I took off two screws to get access to the area and noticed that the internal plastics that accepted the screws were sheared off. I ended up using some stainless steel bolts/nuts/washers to re-attach the clean water port. This plastic component that the screw attaches to appears to be way undersized and nowhere near substantial enough considering you are constantly pushing in the clean water tank. Overall, really liked the product when it worked but after my experience with customer service and not getting back a functional product, I’ll no longer purchase Tineco products. For the cost of this item I would expect it to last longer than four months. Unfortunately, it seems that there are several design faults that are shoddy and lead to its malfunctioning. It looks like the purple vacuum manufacturer just came out with a floor mop product similar to this so will probably go with that one.

WOW! WOW! I had been watching this vacuum for YEARS since it was $800. At the time I thought that was too much but IF I KNEW THEN WHAT I KNOW NOW I WOULD HAVE SPENT THE $800. This vacuum is the best item I have ever bought. I have shiny, white porcelain floors that are very high maintenance, before this item I had to sweep, mop and then vacuum the left over hairs/lint/etc .. NOW all I have to do is use this wet vac AND IM DONE! ONE AND DONE! Also, my floors are genuinely clean, before I would clean my floors with the 3 steps and my feet would be black after walking barefoot; now with just the 1 step my feet STAY clean. That’s how you know it’s really cleaning.

The best kept household secret
I needed this vacuum years ago. With hardwood floors throughout my manual mopping days were time consuming. This saves significant time but more importantly left my hardwood and tile cleaner than it has ever been. The ease of the cordless is amazing, quick to assemble, easy to use, clean and maintain. I’m astonished by how clean my floors are, a wet white cloth is now still white which was impossible after hand mopping. My floors also dry quickly with overall less water on my wood. Great profit, light weight and easy to use.

Not sure about this floor cleaner. Extremely light weight. Which maybe, that’s good bc it’s easy to move around. But, it seems like a lot of work cleaning it after. If you follow the directions (which are very hard to read), you need to do a thorough cleaning after every use. Wash all the parts (including the brush roller) and let them dry before putting it away. They do give you an extra roller and filter for the next time. But, I really don’t enjoy handling all the gunk. I will say that the water looks very dirty when you are done. So, it’s getting the job done. The floors don’t take long to dry. I like that it actually cleans the roller when you are done. But they don’t want you to leave the wet one in the machine. You have to remove it and rinse it and let it dry. I have a feeling I am going to be lazy about that if I keep this machine. I also wish it could lay flat to go under furniture. It can’t. The robot voice sounds bossy. Lol. A little creepy. But I can deal. Just not sure. The last vacuum I returned took 3 weeks to be re-embursed. What a hassle. Might be stuck with this one.

This thing’s awesome but it’s a pain the way you have to clean it every time you’re done washing the floors Yes it has self-clean but you have to rinse out the tank and it gets stuck in the little holes. All together I love it. A bit expensive for what it is and would love to see a super powerful version but no one makes one of those this is pretty much the best you can get.

Terrible experience
I am extremely disappointed with my experience with TIneco. While the floor washer started off working alright, this did not last long. It has been nearly 3 weeks since I sent a nearly new machine in for repair – it stopped charging after 2 months of use. I have had to ask for updates several times, and after 3 weeks was finally told that the machine is irreparable and will be replaced by a used device, with no time frame provided for when I will receive the replacement. The fact that a used machine is being sent as a replacement for one that is nearly new is outrageous. Also, it is clear that the engineering of these devices is subpar, given the speed with which mine became part of the scrap heap. I am very much underwhelmed by both the product and customer service experience with Tineco.

I broke down and ran and bought the Shark HydroVac MessMaster 3-in-1 multi-surface cordless… I love my Shark vacuums and just had to compare while I could still return the Tineco iFLOOR 5 Breeze Complete Wet Dry. Tineco was by far superior! Came with two solutions, two sponge rollers and two filters. Quiet, easy to fill, easy to clean. Floors dried within a minute, little condensation. Vacuum Hepa filter stayed pretty dry. Sponge roller is extremely dry after self cleaning and has a spot on tray to air dry. Area creates a seal and aid in sponge momentum. Self propelled. Light weight. Larger clean water compartment. The dirty compartment top lifts off easily and all straight walls sides, no edges. 9/10 stars. Tineco by far is the one I’m keeping. It makes me wonder how their vacuums are?!?

How did I live without this???
I’ll state the obvious: I LOVE THIS MACHINE! So much so, I can’t imagine I lived without this for so long. It picks up EVERYTHING, it’s incredibly easy and satisfying to use. Mine came missing basically all the spare parts, which should tick me off, however I contacted Tineco and it was the easiest/friendliest customer service I’ve ever dealt with, they sent me all the spare parts I was missing and it arrived within days. It’s not extremely light, my kids can’t use it, however that is not a big deal to me. It’s built extremely well and I haven’t had any clogging issues. I run the self cleaning after every use, and rinse the dirty water dispenser as well. Every night after my final clean, I take the water dispenser, the brush roller and the roller cover and rinse it nicely and leave it drying on the dish drain – it sounds like a drag but it takes me literally two minutes to do so, MUCH faster and easier than dealing with a mop and a bucket of water. The only con for me is I wish I held more water, the water storage isn’t that big. However, I do understand that more water would mean heavier weight which would be a con, so I see the reason for the size. All in all, love this and can’t imagine ever not having it in my life.

Problems right from the beginning
My first problem was after charging the mop it would turn on for a few seconds and turn off. After a day of that I got it to turn on but then no water was coming out. Trouble shooting said it check for blockage but it’s never been used.

1 star- excessive dumping of dirty tank
I bought this unit as an upgrade to the Tineco 1 model. I used it once and sent it back. Here’s why: Cons: 1200 sq ft- changed dirty water 26 times!!!! The dirty water tank would fill with 1/2 cup of water and require me to empty it. Couldn’t finish floors on single charge Replaced clean water tank 3 times Exhausting self clean that took 15 minutes of me constantly dumping the dirty tank before it would even charge It took me way longer to use this machine than it does to manually clean the floor. Since I purchased for convenience this machine was returned. Pros: Compared to the 1st version it cleans the floors better and is able to get closer to furniture

Impressive
First use was a success. I love the cordless feature, the ease of preparation and the auto feature surprised me but made cleaning effortless. I had to refill the water towards the end of moping my house but the battery held up well. The vacuum is a little heavy and the self cleaning is quick. All in all, I enjoyed this product. I mopped my house in 30 minutes opposed to the usual hour plus with a steam mop. WIN!!

Good product but didn’t meet expectations for price
Is a great high tech product. Easy to learn to use and to put together. Is light and agile. Vacuumed up objects of many different sizes. Does a good job of grazing over my tile but does not mop up hardened or tough messes that are dry. If you have light floors that have accumulated dirt or food that is stuck to floor it does not scrub these up you will still need to scrub spots by hand or with swiffer mop. For the price it cost I would have liked to be able to throw away the swiffer and clean my floors with just this one tool but not the case. I am happy with the product just below my expectations for the price/cost of the vacuum.

Not cleaning at all
This machine does not cleaning the floor. Only after the first use it clean but after that no water getting out no matter what I do. Also it spill water for no reason. Very hard to use. The quality is just cheap plastic. It doesn’t not weight enough to improve itself. Regarding storage it okay but does not have space for the solution.:
