I had been eyeing this machine for years after seeing it on social media. I couldn’t pull the trigger because it is expensive and the reviews were a bit mixed. When I saw it for sale with a steep discount during Prime day, I finally committed and I am so glad I did. I am a busy mom of 4 who just doesn’t have time to mop everyday (or week unfortunately). We have tile in the kitchen and hardwood floors where we eat. The kitchen tiles were NEVER clean. I sometimes steamed them twice in a row and then used a regular mop and the floors still didn’t pass the “paper towel” test. Enter Tineco. As soon as I charged it for the first time I did my tiled floors. I did 2 rounds just because I wanted to give the machine a fair shot on floors that never seemed to get clean. Oh my gosh, for the first time EVER there was no residue on a paper towel when I wiped the floor. None whatsoever. I’ve seen complaints about the battery but I have a 3600 sq ft house. I bought the combo (more in that later) which I think has a shorter battery life than the regular Tineco — I can still do my whole first floor before the battery even gets to 30%. I did my entire kitchen, eat in area, living room, dining room, and the first floor bathroom tonight and it was at 40%. I did have to clean the dirty water tank once and add fresh water but I don’t mind. I bought the combo — I wish I would have bought just the regular one. I have yet to use the hand vac and I honestly don’t think I ever will. I can just use our regular vacuum if I need to get into tight crevices. That is my only regret with this machine. Cleaning is a breeze. I had an issue the first time running the self clean — it kept telling me to clean the dirty water tank even though it was clean. I ended up just manually starting the self clean function and it worked like a charm. This machine saves me so much time and now my floors are clean. It takes not even 5 minutes to clean the machine when I’m done (wash the dirty water tank, the roller, wipe down the machine, etc) and that’s because I really want to take care of the machine. You probably don’t need to be as diligent as I am. I did notice it leaves slight streaking on my darker hardwood floors (nothing on my light hardwood). It is minimal and doesnt bother me whatsoever. All in all, I love this machine and so far I don’t regret this purchase whatsoever. I hope this review helps someone who may be contemplating!
I bought the machine three months ago. It is not working correctly. You have to put it on the charger to start the machine. I called the company they had me ship the machine back for repair receive the machine back with the same issue now they want to send me a refurbished machine! After spending almost $500 on a new machine, I have to except a refurbished machine. And they threaten you if you put a negative review.

Great for a year then infuriating
It did everything I wanted for a year and then it started telling me that the tank was full and that I couldn’t use it even when the tank was empty. I tried to trouble shoot through online guides and youtube videos but nothing prevented the machine from telling me that the tank was full when it was empty and that I couldn’t use it. They should not have made it unusable if the machine deemed the tank was full.

When it works it’s great but this is the second time in a year that the machine won’t turn on. First time Tineco had us send in for repair & when they returned machine the parts returned were dirty, scratched & not what we sent to them. After having this for a few months now I can safely say I absolutely LOVE this wet/vac! I have two big dogs, one that sheds and one that drools. Usually takes forever cleaning the hardwood floors. Dodging drool with the broom and dog food with the mop. This takes no time at all to clean my whole house! One tool for the whole job! So far have had no issues at all with clogging, suction, or just simply not mopping the floor. I will say though it is very important to keep the tank, roller, and main channels clean. It will stink if you do not clean it. That being said, the self cleaning mode is fantastic! It truly does a wonderful job, I use mine heavily and deep clean it once every other week, which is probably more than what you need to do. I have had no issues at all with it stinking at all! My favorite part about this is it so easy to use, and kind of fun, that I can actually get the husband to clean the floors!!! lol

Love/Hate relationship
I love what this has done for cleaning my floor, saving my back, making my life easy. HOWEVER, you NEED TO CLEAN IT EVERYTIME or it stinks immediately. I’m a bit lazy that’s kinda why I bought this so the extra step of cleaning the roller is just annoying to me but I still love it. I think it’s well worth it. I had an older Tineco model and upgraded to this model and I’m glad I did. The suction is good, so long you clean out any hair that get sucked up. It’s light weight so it’s easy to carry around the house. It’s easy to charge and I love the new display of lights and controls. It does lose its “juice” overtime. It doesn’t stay charged as long as it used to and the clean water tank requires a good beating for it to read its full and connected but I still love this thing. I’d definitely buy another one if it went out.

Mediocre Customer Service
I am not usually one to complain…but my wife bought this and used it probably once a week in our home for less than 2 months before it had a motor failure issue that customer service could not solve over the phone or with their app that you download on your phone and connect to the vacuum. We liked the product and so my wife asked their customer service to send us a replacement, and then we ship them the broken unit back to them. They said no…. because it was more than 30 days old… so now I am stuck having to find a box and try to somehow package this thing up in a box without proper packaging material, and then live without a vacuum for a month or however long it takes them to repair it. Seems to me like they could have had a happy customer, and a properly packaged up unit to repair, but instead they have an unhappy customer and will be getting a box of whatever UPS packs up and sends them. Definitely missed the mark in my mind on customer service, and not sure what to say exactly about a new product that has a critical failure in less than 60 days of very light usage.

Error after use of 30 min and horrible customer service
After using it for 35 min, the device noted to clear the dirty water tank. There was just 1 cup of dirty water in it but I threw it away anyways and continued. The device kept giving me the error and stopped working. I sent it back and am waiting for my new one for over a month. Customer service is bad. They just keep repeating for a month now: “as soon as we receive a tracking number, we will let you know when it ships”. I don’t believe you have nothing in stock. Not sure why it takes so long to send me another one!

Okay, so I’ve used it exactly once but OMG…as someone with large dogs, a rainy climate, and a muddy yard, I vacuum and mop a LOT. I have had a Tineco cordless vacuum for years and really like it, but I kept telling myself I could just haul a bucket around, it was too expensive to buy this. Wrong. It’s fantastic. I was done in a third of the time it normally takes me to mop my great room wood floor, tiled kitchen and bathrooms, and hardwood floors in master bedroom and didn’t have to go back with a towel to make sure water wasn’t sitting on the hardwood anywhere. It’s quiet, it’s easy to clean afterwards and it did a really great job.

Smooth and easy to push, but that’s it. Leaves roller streaks of water on floor. Had to wait for floor to dry before moving furniture back. Maybe I just got a dud, but I’m definitely not happy. Love this. I hate that I waited so long to justify the cost of this. It is worth its weight in gold. I use it so much. I have four dogs in the country. Easy to charge and charges pretty quickly! Not very heavy but does get a bit tiresome if using it to clean the whole house. Poor Quality. Horrible Customer Service
Perhaps my worst purchase in years. I’m so mad at the lack of options for this, I just had to write this review. I’ve owned the vacuum for 7 months now but at least 3 of them it’s been sitting broken and idle. The warranty repair site is so bad and frustrating that I’ve given up. A two year warranty is meaningless if you can’t get service under the warranty. I tried again this morning thinking maybe they it would be better. They do everything in their power to make it hard to get service. The chat just sits there with no agent responding. There’s no email confirmation that you’ve uploaded your documents or have requested service. They really make you run in circles thinking “maybe it’s me.” Enough. I have no idea how they got so many good reviews but this product is junk. It worked fine for a couple months but that was it. Frequent empties and cleanings and then nothing. Constant error messages telling me to clean the already clean rollers or to empty an already empty tank. Avoid this product and company!

Loved my tineco at first but after 9 months it just keeps leaking water everywhere. A floor cleaner that costs this much should last longer. Very disappointed

Me and my wife bought this vacuum almost a year ago… and battery started draining faster and faster after each use and it was very slow to charge it. Today May 18 our tineco stopped charging completely. Looked for battery replacement and they are $100…. Considering they will not last another year

poor customer support, received defective item
I really didn’t want to write negative feedback but the customer support for Tineco is not helpful at all. I received item without power cord and I was trying to communicate with seller so they ship us missing part and they never did, beside that they keep saying to contact them directly. I order item via amazon so I do not want to go to their website to write an email, and this is so annoying. They never send us missing item, keep asking for photos, we send photos of the item then they need more photos 9and again we are missing part power cord so the cord won’t be on the photo why you even need those photos. So we had to order it somewhere else and ask for 20$ refund but they can’t even give us refund of 20$. then they ask for photos if we bought it directly from them SERIOUSLY, item cost almost 500$ why you care where we got it, we asking for 20$ refund or missing part this is so easy to solve. Customer support is terrible!!!

Worst thing I’ve ever used
For a couple of months it was working perfectly, and now after less than a year of usage I can’t even mop for 5 minutes without it saying I need to empty the dirty water tank even after meticulously cleaning every inch of the vacuum. Definitely not worth your money if you’re considering this one.

Life changing
I can’t say enough good things about this vacuum!!!!! Fast charging!!!! It does everything and more!!!! You pick up so much dirt and grime!!!!!! It’s disgusting but sooooooo satisfying!!!!!! I have a good sized kitchen and two bathrooms and a small entryway that I do!!!! The only drawback is it wants you to empty the dirty water tank quickly!!!! But I love this product so much that I purchased my first from Target on Black Friday and decided to upgrade to this series a few months later!!!!

Sticks and doesnt work well

Really works fabulously
I had low expectations. But this unit really delivers. It literally talks to you when it needs anything maintained or recharged. And it only needs a capful of concentrate, which will save a ton over others that require fully mixed solutions. And its mopping and vacuuming ability is remarkable. Highly recommended.

Stops charging after 1 year
This thing was amazing for the first year. I bought it for my wife for Mother’s Day. She has used it for just about everything. It cleans up almost any mess you put in front of it. But the way the charging system works, the weight of the device put a lot of pressure on the small plastic charging stand. After about a year of this it will try to charge if you wiggle it around but as soon as you let go it stops charging.

Pro: easy to use Cons:1. Vacuum dirts and dirty water are mixed together 2. Can not mop very clean if there’s stain on the floor 3. Battery suddenly dead with mine, don’t know why. Only reason I can think of is I used to use it twice a week regularly but recently I didn’t use it for a month, when I start using it again the battery drain super fast, only a few minutes. Then completely dead soon. (Only one year after purchasing)

Just okay for spills and dusting .. bad battery
Just okay for immediate spills and maybe daily dusting. It does not replace regular mopping, would still require regular mopping intervals. However after only one year of occasional use, the battery has gone to garbage. Now I’m going to have to replace the battery if I want to keep using this. Because now the battery life is so poor I can’t even get through mopping my floor once

I read all the reviews before deciding to purchase the Tinco S5. I am so very happy that I did make this purchase. This floor cleaner is amazing. Lightweight, self propelled, easy to fill and clean. The best part is that it vacuums and mops at the same time. It picks up debris and pet hair that were missed by the Roomba just minutes before. It cleans along the baseboard, is easy to maneuver , and the interactive screen lets me know to give certain areas more attention. Plus, it really cleans the floor well without streaks, and the areas dry quickly with no worry about over saturation of your flooring. Some reviewers were concerned about the battery life per cleaning session. This has not been an issue for me. I have been able to reach all the areas I want to clean on a single charge. My home is mainly tile, LVP, and wood. This beauty cleans all of the areas seamlessly. The dirty water is proof of how well it cleans . The cleaning solution works great and has a pleasant scent. I could not be happier with this fabulous machine. You won’t regret your purchase.

Dirt tank is too small to clean by hand. Gets full of gunk stuck behind and underneath little obstructions to where you can’t reach it well without jamming your fingers into said gunk. Needs to be sprayed out with water, though you can’t put all the solids you get off your floor down a sink disposal (think wet cat litter and pet hair), so you’ll need to spray it down outside with a hose to clear it out. And you’ll have to do so multiple times just to clean a small section of floor as both tanks are so small. You have to refill the clean water every ten minutes and clean the dirty almost as often, which makes it more labor than just sweeping and mopping. You cannot actually deep clean with this either as the head just kind of glides over the floor like a vacuum cleaner, making it impossible to apply extra pressure to stickier or dryer messes. For those you just have to hold it in one place longer and change the setting but even then it’s not very effective, and that just means you have to clean and refill the tank sooner to finish the whole job. This thing should have huge clean and dirty tanks for what it actually is supposed to do, and also some means of scrubbing harder. It doesn’t though. Just expensive and troublesome and resistant to returning. Huge waste of cash.

The media could not be loaded. So like everyone else I was extremely excited to receive this product. However I have had nothing but issues with this machine. It constantly tells you to clean it even after it’s just been cleaned it constantly says the dirty water tank is full even when it’s empty. And it absolutely cannot handle any dog hair and is constantly jammed up you spend more time cleaning the machine then you do the floors. Would not recommend this product and will be checking out other brands very soon.

Reviewing after first use so I don’t forget my initial opinions. First when I watched videos on Instagram of influencers recommending this product I thought the post use cleaning process seemed really difficult. It’s not, you just rinse a few pieces and you can put all but one right back in. The one you can’t put right back in they give you two of so you have one ready and dry that you can put right back in. I have a baby but no animals so my floors get messy with milk droplets and some food that baby drops but it’s not covered in animal hair. That being said for my life this mop vaccum seems perfect, I can mop my whole house 1800sqft in one charge and I don’t break a sweat. I also like that I don’t have to vaccum separately first. I think if you have an animal that sheds you would want to vaccum first though because if the filter gets full you have to stop and clean it. That didn’t happen to me. I like that I can clean my floors easily without having to carry around a mop of water, that I didn’t break a sweat and that the floors are dry very quickly after. You will have to empty the dirty water tank and refill the clean water tank 3-4 times per charge. But to me that is a fair trade off because I would change my mop bucket water that many times when using a traditional mop ( my house has no carpet all tile and engineered wood). The water I poured out of the dirty water tank was very dirty (I tried this after a party) so it is cleaning. My husband and I could tell a difference in the floors after the first use.

Really like it; but could be better
83 y/o paraplegic in a wheelchair. Fantastic product; but leaves streaks on my luxury vinyl floor. Got a lot better after cleaning floor again after it dried. Tried with and without the cleaning solution. Mfg says normal and changing roller won’t help. Wish it had a light on it and wish I could lower the body to get under furniture (warning not to get it lower than 147 degrees. Being in a power wheelchair I let the chair do most of the work. Not having to deal with a cord is a must for me. Don’t try cleaning mode if it isn’t about empty because it will “clean itself” until the clean tank is empty. Dan

Fixed 3 times and still broken
Constantly says empty dirty water tank even though it’s empty. Sent in machine for repairs, machine came back with the same issue after a month. I sent in my machine again, they sent me a refurbished machine. Now the refurbished machine will not charge. I am so done with this company. The customer service is horrible too. How dare they make me send in my machine in before they ship me out a refurbished machine? They treat me like I’m going to steal the broken machine if they send me a new machine first. Beware of poor poor quality. Ive read many other ppl experiencing issues like this too.

Lightweight but require a lot of attention
I watched and read reviews until I finally made this purchase. First day, I was in LOVE. I used it to vacuum my hardwood floors and it was lightweight, moved well and picked up my dogs black hair everywhere. It wasn’t until day two that I decided to vacuum and wet mop. First, it takes a long time to recharge and the battery drains quick! I have a VERY small home and the battery barely lasted long enough to do my downstairs (kitchen, living room and small bathroom). Secondly, the clean water (and solution) container are extremely small so be prepared to refill it a lot (I have to 3-4 times minimum) and my light colored wood floor had a residue left behind. In addition, the dirty water container needs to be changed just as much. Lastly, the self cleaning is what got me and while it started out great….I had to still clean out every compartment and the vacuum head. Overall, it’s a small and lightweight vacuum/mop and it is SO helpful and useful. I just wish the battery and water compartments lasted long enough so I wasn’t cleaning, dumping dirty water, refilling water/solution, cleaning up that mess, just to clean and do the process again in 5 minutes. I think this is a great option for light, day to day, cleaning. For the record I have a small home, 2 small boys and 2 black labs (who shed a lot). I’m not sure it’s worth the price tag but I am happy to have it and it does clean relatively wel

It’s ok
I WANT to love this thing. It does have some big pros to it. But I don’t think it’s actually cleaning the floors very well. We had brand new floors and there was some gunk from installation, it did not clean it up. But I could wipe the gunk up with a paper towel…. I feel like it doesn’t get everything off of the floor that’s stuck to the floor… I even question myself as the operator that maybe I was using it wrong. But every video I’ve seen is using it the way I have been. I do like the solution, the self propel, the self clean, and that it cleans the floors much easier than me using a swiffer or mop. I just wish it cleaned them more thoroughly.

A well made product that does what it advertises to do. Mop and vac at the same time saves me time and money (not having to vac first and mop after) but I wish it can clean under the bed and other low spaces like couch or furniture and have a larger dirty water tank. It is also quite loud but I’m still happy that I got it.

Favorite Ever!
This vacuum mop is the BEST cleaning gadget I’ve ever owned. It vacuums great and when it mops it barely uses any water. The water tank is big. It self cleans by the push of a button. It literally talks to use and tell you exactly what do to for maintenance. I wish I would have bought it sooner!!! Definitely worth the money.

I love watching the sensor to see what needs to be cleaned some more. Product does leave streaks though so I have to spray a streak free product afterwards to get rid of them. Overall very happy.
