Worked for a year. Awesome when it did work

I loved it. I purchased it last January 2024 and it stopped working after a year. It made life much easier bc i have a few injuries from the military and now im a home health nurse. So im busy and when i do have time to clean i cannot stand up long periods of time so i purchase cleaning aids that help me get the job done faster. I contacted the company today in hopes something can be done bc for the price i was hoping for it to last longer than a year

    I think I like this, but…

I think I like this. I’ve been using it for about 3 weeks, here are my initial thoughts. Overall, it’s so much better than mopping any other way. Fast, easy, just like vacuuming. I hate mopping, therefore avoid it, and my floors are typically way dirtier than they should be. But not anymore – I love running this thing! That being said, I’ve noticed a few things to consider: 1) For the first week or two, it cleaned well but left streaks on my HWF. I tried everything – switching cleaning solution, no cleaning solution, etc. The thing that has finally made it better – I take out the roller brush and wet it before starting. The streaks are caused by the sprayers – they are evenly spaced along the roller, and then it leaves evenly spaced streaks on the floor. Even though the floor looks uniformly damp when you mop, it dries with streaks. It still does this sometimes, I haven’t completely cracked the code yet. But I’d rather have slightly streaky clean floors than dirty floors. 2) It talks. LOUDLY. It tells you when it’s on, what it’s doing, reminds you to put on charger, talks you through the self-clean. This part sucks, I’d give anything for a mute button. 3) You have to clean it religiously. Good news though, it’s easy. The first time I used it, I completely took it apart and cleaned it – just to see where gunk was building up. It’s almost all in the dirty water tank, with some on the roller and roller cover. I just do the self-clean now after every use (just push a button, it cleans itself), and fully empty and rinse the dirty water tank. I also rinse off the roller pretty regularly and wipe the roller cover with a towel before putting it back on. Sounds like a lot – but I was expecting the type of cleaning you need to do on a carpet cleaner, and this is no way near that. It’s like 10% of the time/energy of cleaning a carpet cleaner. 4) Yes it vacuums while it mops, but as a pet owner, you really have to vacuum first or the mop will get so gunked up and gross. I vacuum then mop. Most of the pet hair goes in the vacuum, the mop catches anything left behind. I always had to vacuum then mop before anyway, this doesn’t seem like a big deal to me. 5) The charging base is big. I was planning on sticking it in a closet, but it’s really quite large. I’m not sure where I’m going to put it. I was expecting something smaller – like my stick vacuum that hangs on a wall charger or something. It’s big. 4) It’s expensive. I got it slightly on sale. But for the money, I really wish it didn’t streak and had a mute button. Thus the 4 stars. Overall, this is a solid machine, seems like it will last if you keep it clean and take care of it. And it’s fun to use, so I find myself mopping way more regularly.

    One Step Miracle Floor Cleaner

I’ve thrown away the Shark steam mop and Swifter Wet Jet! This ONE STEP miracle is all I needed for keeping our hardwood floors clean from the traffic of our grandkids and dogs this winter. The cordless feature is amazing and the floors are so much cleaner because of the soft roller that makes great contact with the floor- and the cleaner is self propelled! Assembly was a simple task, plus using and replacing the solution and dirty water tanks easy, as well. I’m able to clean the floors of our kitchen, breakfast room, family room and foyer (where the dirt always accumulates the most) on one charge. The machine display of “dirt level” and amount of charge remaining is convenient- and “she” even talks to you when it’s time to empty the tank or add more water/soap! I know what my daughter’s are getting for their next Birthdays!

Suction Died 4 months out of Warranty

After a couple years of using this sparingly, maybe once a month or so, the mop started spewing water from the dirty water reservoir and no longer sucking up water. I read all the institutions when I bought it and followed them to a T, always cleaning it after every use. I also vacuum with my Dyson before using my Tineco. This didn’t keep it from being a hunk of junk after 2 dozen uses. I contacted customer service for troubleshooting and they asked if I cleaned the filter, brush, tanks, etc. and when I confirmed that I did and it still wasn’t working, they were out of ideas and said they couldn’t help me because I was 4 months out of the 2 year warranty period, but I could pay them over $100 to ship it to them for repair. No thanks! I’ll spend that money on a Shark or Bissell 2-in-1. Don’t buy. Does not last.

    Save your money :/

Dies FAST! Small water tank. My floor is still dirty. That ring that tells you how dirty the floor is doesn’t actually work. I ran it over a particularly dirty spot to test. It didn’t work. Continued cleaning the floor didn’t work. Would we go over spots then it would detect that it’s dirty again. Impossible to connect to Wi-Fi. Did not explain in the instructions how to start self cleaning mode. I had to look that up myself. Yeah I’m disappointed. But maybe I can use it for something. I just don’t know what yet. Save your money. It’s a waste.

    GAME CHANGER

This thing has made my live easier in an instant. Our house has tile throughout and sweeping and mopping has been the weekly thing forever. Add 2 cats to the mix to make the fun ever greater. I splurged on this model and I’m so glad I did. It’s easy to use and to clean and leaves the floor sparkling. It cleans so well that the water looks downright gross and I sometimes go over the floor a second time. I haven’t had it that long so I’m going to give it another couple of weeks and come back and update this review.

    Works OK

Works good for about a year then loses its battery life and effectiveness, even after replacing parts like the roller. Might be good for a really small house or an apartment, but not a good investment for anything over 1000 sqft

Decent Cleaner but Falls Short on Battery Life and Tank Capacity

I have a love-hate relationship with this product. I bought it in 2023 and have been using it once or twice a month to deep clean my tile floors. One of the biggest drawbacks is the refill tank—it doesn’t hold much water, and the dirty water reservoir fills up quickly, even when mopping just one room. Battery life is another issue. It takes 2–3 hours to fully charge, but only lasts about 15–20 minutes during use, which isn’t ideal for larger cleaning sessions. Lastly, the mop head design limits its reach. It can’t get into certain tight spaces, like deep under the kitchen table, due to the restricted angle. While it does a decent job cleaning, these limitations make it less convenient than I had hoped.

    DO NOT PURCHASE

0 stars, the product broke within a couple times of using it. We sent it back to the company per the advice of customer service and have not gotten a new product nor a refund. Customer service is very unhelpful and none of your questions get answered. This product and this company sucks.

    Ease

It is so much better than vacuuming and mopping by hand.
