Best vacuum I’ve ever had!
This is my third shark vacuum. I am impressed by the suction power of this vacuum. However, it is very difficult to push on my longer carpet. I have adjusted the suction power to the lowest setting and still struggle. It also pushes around object that’s aren’t imbedded into the carpet. It won’t pick up cheerios, Barbie shoes, raisins or items of similar size. Because of that I would not recommend it to anyone with children.

A challenge if you have furry pets
One of the things this vacuum promotes is that it is for households with pets. I have a very furry dog and the vacuum does an amazing job with picking up the hair..but two issues have come up after vacuuming the entire house. First is that hair was stuck to the rollers. The second is that the design of the Dust Cup. In the center is a large plastic peace which catches the hair and doesn’t allow it to fall out when being dumped. To get the fur out..I have to stick my hand into the dust cup and pull it out. In some respects it is humorous that it is promoted as a HEPA vacuum…because in the process of removing the dust cup and dumping it into the trash can and pulling out the hair I see dust flying everywhere. I’m sure the dust is fully contained while vacuuming…but not when emptying. This is my first bagless vacuum..so I guess this makes sense and is bound to happen. I got this on sale and the price was great and the suction is wonderful. I also like how it swivels around furniture and lowers to vacuum under the bed. It is not as lightweight as I had hoped, and it does not move freely on carpet. And my carpet is low piled…and still requires strength to push and pull it back. But not a deal breaker for me. Just be aware as some others have stated that you will get an arm workout with this. 🙂

Reliable and effective
We’ve had this vacuum for almost two years, and I believe we vacuum our whole house about every other day. They’re are two humans and large dog who all shed hair and track dirt and pine needles in. Our house is about 1800 sqft, some hardwood, some low carpet, and some deep carpet. The shark lift-away is lightweight and effective on all the different floors, and we’ve had no troubles with it. We think bagless vacuums are disgusting, so we dump the filth into a trash can outside. Even so, I’m sure there’s more dust escaping into the air than with our old Miele, but that thing broke all the time and needed a fresh bag constantly. It also cost triple what this one did. This vacuum just does its job with minimal maintenance (you have to rinse out the filters occasionally). I highly recommend it.

Lightweight, great for wood floors and very low pile carpet. The 2 negatives I found were that there is no height adjustment to vacuum thicker pile carpet. Also, the attachments for cleaning upholstery and baseboards fall off easily while using. The attachments don’t seem to be compatible with this model of vacuum cleaner.

I have had a little less than a year . It will no longer turn on. I only used about once a month on a small rug I have . The first two months it sat in a box. Ridiculous

This was bought to replace a Kirby which has been in the family since about the early to mid 1990s. It is mechanically sound but the handle assembly needs work and I was not willing to deal with that. I will have it mended and pass it one to someone who needs it. The new Shark is such a treat. As promised, it moves, easily and oh boy does it ever d a good job, exp[ecailly on dog hair, and I have 2 pups. Having swept and vacuumed carpets the day before it was amazing just how much more I got with my new Shark, after an easy assembly. I am elderly and it is relatively easy to use (nothing is totally so any more) an the 5 star rating above is well earned.

Amazing machine. one par with the kirby my mom used to own. Definitely outperforms every Dyson I’ve had. great seal with the floor whether carpet or floor. Haven’t used on high pile carpet, but did try the brush on low pile and BE CAREFUL if you do. this thing is so good that it started to loosen the threads in a couple of areas. Clearly the brush is made for high pile. I’m not a guy who’s vaccuumed often, but seeing the bin almost completely full after just one vaccuum when i only have one room in an apartment is leaving me in shock. Buy this.

We purchased the white vacuum. The suction on this vacuum is remarkable. It maneuvers well. It is a bit heavier than I expected. We have a smaller house, so storage weigh in as a big factor upon a new purchase. I can say that it’s perfect for people with smaller storage capacity. I like that dirt canister is large. I can clean all the floors in my home without having to stop and empty it. Very easy to clean and use the accessories. The only thing I was disappointed in with this vacuum was that it has no light on the front. All in all I would highly recommend this vacuum and would repurchase it in the future.

Really Great Vaccum!
This is a really solid vaccum- well made, durable and the suction is great! I saw a few reviews complaining that the wand is annoying to disattach and use which I agree with, but also not terrible. I was also a little disappointed there was no lighting at the front of the vaccuum to help with messes under tables and such, but also not too bad. This is a great vaccuum for the price and I definitely still love it after several months of use!

Doesn’t work on carpet
When changing over to suction on carpet, the light is green for a second but then immediately turns red and stops working. There is nothing blocking anything on the vacuum. I have taken it apart multiple times to verify that nothing is blocking it but it does the same thing. I’ve ordered a replacement and the replacement vacuum does the same thing. I’ve received two faulty vacuums… I’d like a refund

Absolutely terrible.
It was delivered an hour ago. Within the first 5 minutes I knew it was going back. This vacuum runs over the cord, even holding it with the other hand doesn’t help. The suction is too much. It came to a stop on my carpet and wouldn’t budge unless I shut it off, restarted and continued with no pauses. This is the most I’ve spent on a vacuum and the worst.

Amazing for Polished Porcelain Floors
I just had the floors throughout my house replaced with polished porcelain tiles and had *NO* idea the amount of dust they would cause in my house. Every bit of mud dries right up (from dogs), doesn’t stick (of course, they’re polished), and then flies through the air; it is an indoor dustbowl. Everything gets covered in dirt if not handled immediately (EVERYTHING). Even manually dusting the floors with microfiber dust mops could not keep up. This vacuum changed everything! It gets every bit of that dusty dirt up and makes it easy to clean daily. For high amounts of dust like mine, I would suggest having a backup filter foam sponge so that you can switch them out as one dries from a cleaning — streamlined to vacuum every day. I would say there is a slight issue with Samoyed dog hair, though. I noticed in some of the other comments that it was very well approved for handling pet hair, but my Samoyeds clog up the brush in just one run. I don’t need the brush very often, luckily, since I don’t have much carpet anymore, but I figured I should mention it if anyone else has a Samoyed + carpet. However, I am leaving the review at 5 stars because, in my experience, most vacuums cannot handle Samoyed fluff. My theory is that it is because Samoyed hair is super soft and a lot like raw cotton; none of the brushes on the vacuums can handle very much of it. Tl:dr: I highly recommend for polished porcelain floors. It sucks up dirt and dust exceptionally well without worry of scratching or even scuffing the tiles.

Shark replaces my Dyson
Dyson still works and does a good job as a carpet sweeper but using the accessory attachments with the hose has never been easy. The Dyson is poorly designed and after ten+ years of fumbling frustration I purchased the Shark Navigator at a decent price (compared to any Dyson) from Amazon. First impression is that the Shark has a good heft to it, more than expected. It does the carpet sweeping very well and using the accessory wand is much easier. Great suction and easy to empty are also plusses. On the other end, it comes with only two accessory tools, a smallish crevice tool and an upholstery brush. I ordered two more tools but they cost me about $30 and I hope they are worth it. The other interesting thing is that the accessories just slip on the end of the wand, there is no “click” that locks them into place. Yes, they also slip out of place and come off during use, occasionally.

Was expecting better!
It’s not a horrible Vacuum, I was looking for something more lightweight then my previous shark that was heavy, but amazing. (SHARK ZERO-M) Now this one is lightweight but the design of it is not my cup of tea, firstly the power/switch is in the middle, didn’t think that would be a big deal but it’s inconvenient when going back and forth from bare floor to carpet. Second yes it sucks really good!! Lil to good for area rugs and sucks them up and stops working. Bare floor setting which is my entire downstairs doesn’t do so great. Third I can not stand the canister it is a horrible design and makes a mess when emptying. Forth, canister does not disconnect from Vacuum roller so I can’t Vacuum under furniture. Lastly the cord is opposite side of my other shark. Not a big deal. But these are things that bother me about it. Truly just want to fix my other shark back up… keep this one upstairs for carpet and use my old one for downstairs (bare floors/area rugs) It’s my fault for not doing more research of design 🙃

Good Suction but poor design
I got the Navigator NV360 Deluxe to replace my Shark Pro Rotator Lift Away that lasted more than 15 years. The suction is great but I guess you get what you pay for. I’m disappointed in the ease of use. It’s ok for basic quick cleaning but very awkward if you want to reach high places, under furniture or those little tight spots. The on board tool holder attached to the wand gets in the way and can scratch the wall, furniture. The wand/handle does disconnect but is too short to reach very high so make sure you get the accessories. I was spoiled by my previous Shark Pro…

This thing is amazingly sturdy for being made with plastic. It’s very powerful and easy to use. Keeping the filters clean and emptying the bin is also easy. One of its best features is how it converts to hand held mode and you can use it in your car or stairs quickly and easily. I had second thoughts about this plastic vacuum until I owned one, but I am a convert! It’s an excellent vacuum. I highly recommend this product!

Very AWKWARD vacuum
Positives: The vacuum has suction. Negatives: The handle of the vacuum detaches from the base (“lift away”) and becomes part of the attachment device. The hose which is not long enough is attached to this handle. The attachment pieces that are on the handle and the curve of the handle itself get in the way when trying to clean underneath furniture… making it impossible to actually clean. In the midst of all of this the base of the “lift away” keeps falling over. I didn’t even try to use this “lift away” on my steps for fear that I’d fall trying to juggle all of this. I have never seen a more cumbersome/awkward vacuum cleaner. This is a poor design all the way around. I am very unsatisfied and have returned this vacuum.

It’s good
This is the best vacuum sweeper I’ve ever used. It has the most powerful suction I’ve ever seen. So much so it’s very hard to push it over a higher pile carpet. Has a great filter system. You can also take the lower part off, and use it like a small canister vacuum. I can easily recommend this vacuum to anyone who is looking for a good deal. Price is excellent too. Lite and versatile.

Broke in less than 2 months
I gave it two stars because when it was working, it worked well, but the brush roller stopped spinning less than 2 months after purchase. I purchased it through Amazon so Shark will only send a replacement piece, and wanted to charge the shipping cost to send the replacement part because that’s not covered under the warranty. I went to the Shark website to do the troubleshooting on my own and then had to go through it all again on video in order to get them to agree to even replace the part that was broken.

Missing Parts
Bought this vacuum back in March. I just recently realized it should’ve come with vacuum attachments and also it was missing a filter which I just realized the other day when I was looking at how to replace filters. It didn’t come with it. Two stars because I actually really like the vacuum itself. It performs equally as well as my previous Dyson at cleaning the carpets.

I bought this as a replacement to my Bissell and I’m returning it. The one pro I like is that it reaches a lot farther under desks and tables. However, it pales in comparison to how much hair it picks up! Also, the plug is loose in every outlet in my home. Nothing else is, just this vacuum. And it’s incredibly frustrating trying to vacuum when the plug keeps falling out. So no, not work the money or hype.

All I can say is I’ve owned 3 Dyson vacuums and I bought this one for a reason and I’m glad I did. It works extremely well and the lift and carry option is really nice. It does vacuum a narrower track but it vacuums better at a fraction of the price over Dyson. I only wish I would have given Shark a try years ago.
