Best vacuum I’ve ever had!
This is my third shark vacuum. I am impressed by the suction power of this vacuum. However, it is very difficult to push on my longer carpet. I have adjusted the suction power to the lowest setting and still struggle. It also pushes around object that’s aren’t imbedded into the carpet. It won’t pick up cheerios, Barbie shoes, raisins or items of similar size. Because of that I would not recommend it to anyone with children.

So far it’s keeping up with my two major shedding labs and the chihuahua. Easy to use, easy to clean and gets the hair!

Worked well until the connector to roller/brush and the canister broke after about 14 months
We use this about twice a week. Overall this worked really well, picked up well and was easy to clean. However, after about 14 months the piece connecting the roller brushes and the canister snapped in half when we were vacuuming. Probably won’t buy a vacuum with this connection again.

It Gets the Pet Hair Up
Its a good machine, no doubt. Good suction and does get the pet hair up. The main problem is that the detachable nozzle functionality sucks (no pun intended) its too short to really maneuver with then requires me to actually lift the machine up onto chairs to vacuum them. If only there was an extension thingy where you could add like two feet more.

I’ve had 3 Dysons (that always seem to break or lose suction) and a slew of lower priced vacuums. This one is by far the lightest and easiest to maneuver, and I can not believe how much dirt it pulled up from our rugs! Not to mention the suction with the attachments. They don’t make ’em like they used to.
I had this model Shark Navigator Deluxe vacuum for years and years. When it had finally broken down regularly removing so very much cat hair from my carpets, and after I had just bought replacement filters (again), I figured I’d just buy another of the same vacuum. I had no major complaints with it so, rather than waste my time and money on a different vacuum that I might not be happy with, I just bought (what I thought was) the same vacuum I’ve had for so long. It’s okay, but it’s not the same. I guess I failed to notice in the pictures that there’s no light on the front which there was on my old one and was an instantly noticeable difference when getting under tables. I was bummed about this but that wasn’t such a big deal. The next thing I noticed was when standing it upright, whatever part that is supposed to catch it to hold it up doesn’t have nearly as good a grip as my old one. I used to be able to pick it up from a straight standing position move it to wherever I wanted it, and set it back down to the same standing position and let go of it. With this new one, it’s like it just falls as soon as you pick it up, like it has drop foot. When you set it back down, you have to make sure it’s balanced and centered so it does fall over. The swivel still works fine but I don’t even think the suction is as good as my old one. Not to be gross, but I used to be able to nearly fill the canister with all the cat hair I would vacuum up. I would say I can fill this one to about a quarter of capacity. Not doing anything different but the difference is disappointing to say the least. I will likely reach my limit of frustration with this vacuum before too long and just throw it away. I’ve only had it for two months compared to years with the old one. They just don’t make ‘em like they used to.

Nice Overall — But…
I purchased this to replace a Dyson that had been used until it was quite worn out. Overall, I find the suction power to be equal to the Dyson of equal size… maybe a little better. The ease of turning it on and off, and reclining it back to use it is a plus. It’s great to not have to push levers to use it. All you have to do is pull the hand toward you and get to vacuuming. On the downside… the canister is pretty small. I have to empty it after just one room. And, while I appreciate the ease of removing the canister to empty it, I find the vacuumed fuzz from the carpet and dirt do not so easily slide out of the canister into the trash as it gets jammed around the inner workings of it. It could have a little better corner suction, and I would have appreciated a few more attachments… for example a brush. Finally, for the life of me I can’t quite figure out why they would put the cord on the base of the machine! It’s the worst place for it as it constantly gets run over by the vacuum unless held in your hand while vacuuming.

This vacuum sucks
This vacuum sucks, but not in a good way. It kicks back crumbs so badly on hardwood floors unless you turn the roller off, but then you push stuff around multiple times before it sucks it up. I’ve owned so many Shark vacuums because I love me a new one. Treated myself for Black Friday and this was the best deal for something similar to what I was replacing, which is not longer made or I would have replaced it with the same one. The other thing I don’t like is that it doesn’t get close to furniture legs so you end up needing to use the hose. My other sharks did a much better job. I wouldn’t recommend this model. It gets 2 stars for the large capacity canister.

The media could not be loaded. This Vacuum is insanely good. The suction was on a whole other level. It was a bit harder to use on the rug on our living rooom as it is semi shag. So the suction was harder to push against. But I don’t mind because it cleaned it very well. Using it on regular carpet (which we have in our bedroom) was much easier. 12/10

Doesn’t vacuum carpet well, the brush head stops spinning and blinks red every two seconds of vacuuming, very annoying. I’ve only had this vacuum for a few months and already having problems with it. If I could I’d return it.

I had a Shark NV360K for many years until the beater bar stopped working. I didn’t realize how good I had it until forced to shop for a new one. The new models, even the more expensive ones, don’t include an actual upholstery brush. It’s just a smooth opening with some kind of velvet around the edge. It’s worthless for pet hair embedded in cat trees and furniture. In the end, I chose this same model because the price was right, and I simply transferred the old attachments to the new one. Problem solved! Otherwise it’s a nice vacuum for the money. Good suction, maneuvers well, and the cord sits higher so I don’t run over it as much. Can only give 4 stars because they cheaped out on the attachments.

Piece of crap
I bought this in march 2023. I’ve barely used it, as I lived in a very small apartment then moved to a home with hardwood floors. I bet I’ve used it less than 20x. More likely less than 15. Got it out today, it worked for a few minutes then stopped. Tried different outlets, rooms, took it apart, checked filter. I want to scream!

I got this vacuum 5 years ago and it has been great, but my husband kind of ruined it vacuuming out the fireplace and his smoker. It got some brown smelly grease in it that I couldn’t get out. I was super bummed, and so I just bought a new one to replace it because I like it so much. I couldn’t believe how much dirt and hair and crumbs it vacuumed up the first time, and you can see it all in the clear bin. It has a great suction power and works on carpet and hardwood. You can turn it on one mode to vacuum without the roller brush rotating (for hardwood), or use the other mode to have the brush on for carpets. The suction can be adjusted on the hose attachment by rotating a venting piece. It has a spot to store the attachments on the vacuum itself (except the larger pet hair attachment). I like that the bottom can detatch, making it much easier to carry up and down the stairs. I also like how the bottom is very flexible to turn into awkward spaces. The container comes off for easy opening and opens from both the top or bottom. Sometimes crud can get stuck between the center piece and the outside wall but if you don’t let it get too full it’s pretty easy to get out. The vacuum has filters that you can remove and clean. If you empty the bin after you vacuum and clean your filters regularly, this vacuum should last you a very long time. I am really enjoying my new vacuum and would definitely reccomend it, just don’t let your husband use it to vacuum out his smoker.

I’m not a review writing person, but this is the amount of fur and dirt this vacuum pulled out of my rug after I’d gone over it with a vacuum left by a previous resident. This is why I love this vacuum, and the lift away feature is so nice. I had a similar model previously and it lasted through years and years of high use. Highly recommend.

It does have powerful suction. Unable to find accessories to vacuum under furniture. Shark website is out of many accessories and many items are not compatible with this model. Wish I never bought it. Thinking about giving it away and go get another Dyson.

Now I know why people like Sharks
I know this is the basic model. But it doesn’t wreck my carpet like my old vacuum on my old carpet. And my god! So much dirt it picked up! Ew, but yay that it swivels, and has a smaller brush head to get into smaller places. The lift off portion is a little hard to manage, so I’ll be checking into extension rods. But a more able bodied person might have an easier time with that part, and won’t be a big deal. Got it on a deal, so it was a great value.

Perhaps it is because of the decent suction this vacuum has, but I find it more difficult to push than my last Shark. Also, wish it had a little light on the base like the last one did! It’s pretty good, but I don’t know that I would buy this particular model again as it’s not too easy to push.

You have to push hard on textured rugs
Cleans really well but I wanted a lighter weight vacuum for my upstairs. It works well on wood and thin flat area rugs. I have some carved textured rugs in bedroom and this thing is so hard to push. I would return but box was thrown out before I tried it on the textured rugs. Also the two accessories are not as well made as my other shark vacuum that was more expensive. I will probably only use this to clean cob webs off the ceiling and radiators

Not very impressed
Easy to use but…overheats. Needs to sit for at least 45 minutes before using again. Also tight inside when emptying the container, need to reach in and pull out hair etc. It does pick up the cat hair and mine, just frustrating to wait whilst it cools down. I like to start and finish my chores without the wait time.

Does not work on a high pile shag
I have been using a cordless Dyson on a high pile shag for years. Thinking that a corded vaccum cleaner may provide stronger suction, I ordered the Shark Navigator NV360. Surpringly, it does not work at all on high pile (2 inch): the brushroll stops immediately and the indicator light turns red. It seems to work without a problem on the bare floor and low pile carpets. I am returning it.

Quality not the same
I loved my old shark upright vacuum cleaner, and I have had it for eight years. It officially broke on the handle and canister. I tried superglue and duct tape for the last four months. This is the equivalent model, and I was extremely disappointed. The quality is not the same as my old vacuum cleaner-this new one, the carpet rug feature even with reduced suction does not self propel and I have to forcefully push it in my carpet back and forth. The suction head is shorter width and thicker so it does not cover surface area as well, and doesn’t fit under the same height furniture that my older model did. The parts are a lot more plastic sections put together which I assume well eventually break. I will say the detachable container is a lot nicer on the newer model and I like the attachments higher up so that I don’t get hit with the cord. I also like the new filter system compared to the old version which is why I gave it three stars. Take away those few positive things and I feel like I bought a $50 Walmart vacuum cleaner. I hate to say it, but I still continue to use my gorilla glued duct tape version on my carpet and area rugs. I use this new one on my hard surfaces.

I bought this vacuum as a prime deal because my other vac, a dirt devil, was a POS…worst vacuum on the planet This is my first shark. I don’t love it I use the suction wand the most. This vacuum has meh attachments. It’s hard to disengage from the main vacuum, especially since I broke my arm. Also, you can’t pull it around by the attachment, it falls over. Even gashed my ankle! Also, the cord is kinda short. I have a small house, but have to plug it in to 5 separate outlets to vacuum the whole place. My floors are wood, the roller brush just flings larger items, can’t use that function It does have good suction and is lightweight.

Good suction…a strain to push around
We have a Shark Liftaway Pet that we love. This model doesn’t come close to the Pet. Good suction, but that’s the only pro. Cons: – EXTREMELY difficult to push on carpet. Feels like I’m fighting the roller and my arm is sore after just a few minutes of vacuuming – unlike the Pet model, the Deluxe is more awkward to lift off, produces more tangles around the roller and is more difficult to clean. – very loud Will be returning this model.

I mean, was I playing at vacuuming before this powerhouse of a vacuum came into my life? I think this thing pulled up dirt from downstairs as I worked on the second floor. Seriously the best vacuum I have ever owned. My floors are cleaner than they have ever been! It is sucks so hard that it takes a little effort to push it but that is a small price to pay for the thorough performance. The machine is light to carry and has a base that easily slides under couches and chairs to get those hard to reach places. It is easy to assemble. The directions are straight-forward. Great purchase!

Avoid …poor design
Positively awful design. Awkward to use in every way one normally uses a vacuum cleaner. Just one example being the location of the on off switch. A second being the too short hose. Attachment tools are useless. Too much height to vaccuum under a bed. Makes you wish for a bag type unit when cleaning out the nooks and crannies of the dust capture container. The wildly stong vacuum power sticks the thing to the floor so tighly that it is a real workout to use on carpet. It pulls throw rugs off the floor. Shark should try prototyping before going to full production. Or adjust their culture by allowing someone to say, ‘man this thing is aweful’ in the race to release new models. Perhaps A.I designed and signed off on it. Sorry I threw the box away.

I was spoiled with a Dyson. Now, nothing is as good. The suction is alright- but can make the vacuum feel heavy when all the way up. The best thing is probably how easy it is to take apart and to use the attachments. But still, not as good as a Dyson. Very similar to my last animal ball, but everything is just a couple grades below w the shark. I didn’t get another Dyson bc of Dyson’s customer service, and the outrageous price point on them. Ridiculous to get any help or any replacement items with Dyson. I chose this shark due to people raving about the customer service, and how comparable it was in quality to Dyson. And suction. For the price anyway. Yes, the price is MUCH less than a Dyson. But I honestly feel the quality is as well. It’s a nice vacuum, and it does a decent job. A bit wobbly though, and falls over pretty easily. Also the cord length and the hose length aren’t fabulous. I feel it may not be super durable, at least for my space, but that’s where the great customer service will play in, if need be. It is decently small, and easy to move around. I just don’t get that super “clean” feeling after vacuuming, as I did with my Dyson. So, if it’s on clearance, and you need one quickly, great buy. But, if you are super picky about your vacuuming like I am, you may be disappointed a bit. At least if you’re trying to keep up with or expecting the same results as a Dyson. It’s good, but I’m not blown away.

strong suction that can be adjusted
I like this vacuum but it isn’t as good as the last shark I had, which would allow me to take off the canister using only one hand and one button. This canister has to be removed by two side clips. Also, hair winds around the bottom coil and it is difficult to remove all the parts to get to the roller to remove it. (I have very long hair, so this is a daily issue for me) Overall I like that it has adjustable suction power and a handle that removes in two separate sections for vacuuming smaller areas. Overall 4 stars. I would have returned it, but this was the 4th one I had purchased and had the exact same issue with the removal of the bottom pieces to remedy the coiled hair situation and realized I was not going to get an ideal solution without spending well over $500+
