I’ve had this inverter for over 18 months now. No issues. It runs everything. I have four outlets wired to it in my tiny home and a 2500 w water heater. It easily runs chargers, coffee machine, water heater, 3.1cf refrigerator, 40″ Tv, and a blender all at the same time.
Inverter has M8 terminals coming out the back. The cables supplied have M10 or 3/8″ lugs. So, budget for properly sized cable lugs, or new cables with proper sized lugs. Or cut the M10s off and crimp on properly sized M8 or 5/16″ lugs. With the level of max current that can flow into these things, a proper connection is paramount for safe and efficient connections. Personally, as a retired Electrical Engineer I”m not comfortable with using oversized lugs on smaller terminals.

Seemingly solid unit
I used this in my off-grid solar system for only a few weeks before I realized I needed to reconfigure the setup to run on 24V instead. This was no fault of the inverter; it handled my heat pump system, fridge, microwave, induction cook top, lights, fans, pumps, entertainment devices, battery chargers, etc. Also seemed to maintain 60hz, as far as I could tell with the clocks I had plugged into it. (no meter readings done to this effect) Later on, when my entire state was shut down by Hurricane Helene, I lent it to my brother in law, who powered their fridge, freezer and some chargers using his pickup truck as a generator for over a week zand they loved it. Pretty good quality unit, and substantial in weight too… No complaints!

This has a stead current flow to run my microwave, TV/DVD player and heated mattress pad in my semi-truck at the same time. Easy to install and use, it has a remote control panel for turing off/on that works well. Very little noise, good power output and 3 outlets to run whatever you need. Dead Unit: Should have bought VICTRON. Wasted $350 instead
Unfortunately I purchased this inverter (2000 Watt) two years before actually installing it. I purchased early to verify form factor and sizing, so I could design the enclosure around it. Now that it’s time to fire it up, the unit gives a long beep and a red light comes on, but is dead for all practical purposes. RENOGY does not repair their stuff… they only replace, and only replace if it’s still under warranty. I should have gone with a Victron unit, which is what I used for all other components of my expedition vehicle’s solar/power system. Lesson learned: Stick to VICTRON, or expect to get burned

Great inverter, off grid prius charging
You know Plug ins are picky about their power sources, and this 2000w pure sine wave holds up and charges my Plugin Prius along with a renogy 30a charge controller. Wish I could afford renogy batteries. I have 200w flex solar on the roof, and can keep myself charging on the go without having to plug in at home and increasing my SCE bill. It will take a bit to break even on this, but setting this up in a crate, using quick connectors, I also have a portable power station I can use anywhere that beats the pants off of any off the shelf product. I have a lot of Renogy products, and they are some of the best out there, I have 10 panels, 7 controllers, in a lot of odd setups, Suburban, 2 prius, Camping trailer, they knock it out of the park.
