The media could not be loaded. I noticed a lot of the bad things people were saying in the reviews had been fixed. I was able to easily move it into tight spaces and it turned right and left! It cleaned my floor better than any other vacuum I’ve had. You do have to empty it every 1 or 2 uses so far. I’m guessing that will be less the more and more you use it. I have no problems getting it to stand on its own. The bottom of it you can detach and take it to the stairs. It makes it a lot easier than just carrying the whole vacuum and it just stands there for you. I love this vacuum. It was a great deal for such and amazing working cleaning machine!
We bought this after seeing multiple people say they had thick/ shag carpet and it worked well for them. Well that was not the case for us! The vacuum legitimately sucked in our carpet and would not move. So it was powerful but when you have thick/plush carpet, that doesn’t work. Therefore if you have very thick carpet, it likely won’t work for you either.

I’ve had this vacuum for 4+ years and it’s incredible. The suction and power are still great. It has settings for bare floor and brush roll (carpets). I’ve also used the hose attachment to vacuum my vehicles, baseboards, windowsills, and couch. Can’t beat it and the $ is spot on. No regrets.

Awesome vacuum
Bought this to replace my 9 year old bissell pet rewind and I’m wondering why I waited so long. This vacuum has so much suction power and is so much lighter to maneuver than the bissell. I literally vacuumed 3 days in a row before receiving the shark navigator and it still picked up so much from the carpet. Vacuuming now doesn’t trigger my allergies since it’s 100% sealed and doesn’t blow anything back into the air it’s not supposed to. I like how the hose detaches different ways based on how you need to use it and that the main canister base also detaches so you can pick it up easier. Extremely happy with this purchase.

Do not buy unless you need a toy vacuum
I purchased this to replace our old shark navigator, which I really liked. Everything about this newer version is cheap and inferior. Somehow it looks normal size in photosbut it’s laughably small. The footprint is so narrow it barely stands up without tipping over. The canister max fill line is not even 3 inches deep! This is a toy vacuum, completely unsuitable for an actual house. I feel like I just got pranked.

Not impressed with this vacuum
I’m thoroughly disappointed in this vacuum. It’s more of a headache than it is helpful. It has incredible suction yet doesn’t like to pick up cat litter and blows animal fur around. The suction hole in the power head is on the right side which makes it that much harder to pick things up and even though the description says hair won’t get tangled in the brush roll it absolutely still does. The one place I find this vacuum works the best is on a carpet. It will pull everything form the bottom of the carpet right out. I’m disappointed in this product.

not as good as my old Shark Navigator
First, the bad: 1. This one is much heavier than the Shark Navigator N22 that I bought 14 years ago. I would still be using it if I hadn’t gotten mad and broken it. 2. Both the old one and the new one have issues with tipping over as they are kinda top heavy. This new one is way worse, tho. All I have to do is accidentally and gently bump it as I walk by and it wants to tip over and often does. I store it in the closet with the handle-side facing the wall so it wont’ fall over. So annoying. 3. The hose on this one is quite short, so you pretty much HAVE to use the “lift away” function if you want to vacuum something up high. However, you are “lifting” a major part of the machine and it is kind of heavy and a bit awkward. The Good: 1. It seems to suck ok, but I’m not convinced it is any more powerful than my old one. I kick myself for the temper tantrum that caused me to break the old one. 2. Bagless is the way to go, but most are these days.

Amazing suction power
Being a clean freak you can imagine my surprise and shock after vacuuming with this shark.. yeah, it almost filled up the tank after vacuuming 2 days back. 90% of my apt is thick carpet so it did a great job. However the major HUGE FLAW is the cord placement. I’m 100% sure it’s a design flaw, cause nobody would place it … as is. If it wasn’t for the suction power on thick carpet this would be a return for the price point. I definitely damaged the cord while using the vacuum (once only!) because of the wrong placement. So pay extra attention

Cannot figure out how to empty and clean the cannister.
I needed a lightweight vacuum. This was well reviewed. No clue why. Since Day 1, I have had trouble emptying the cannister. The suctioned debris is trapped in a section of the cannister. I actually bought long forceps to try to grab the debris and remove it. Another $$. And..the cannister itself remains filthy. I use the same forceps to try to clean the inside of the cannister. Very annoying. If I could return this, I would. And I have no idea why it was well reviewed.

Would not recommend this vacuume
Problem is the components on the machine I purchased did not fit back together easily nor properly. There’s a gap in a space there shouldn’t be which appears to be reducing the suction. Also, the tubing to the dust collector gets backed up way to easily which means you have to stop and clean out too often. This product makes the job more difficult than it needs to be and more importantly does not really effectively pick up the stuff on the floor. I feel my money was not well spent.

Pros: Love the suction power and it being light weight and easy for me to maneuver. Cons: Doesn’t come with round brush, tips over easily when using hose attachment, and is an absolute nightmare to empty as dirt/dust gets stuck inside compartment. In addition, there is SO MUCH dust remaining in compartment that I have to rinse it out each time I use it. Outside of vacuum also requires wiping down after each use. I have owned a couple of Shark vacuums as well as other brands and have never had this problem with the compartment nor the outside of vacuum.

Detaching from the Rollers Makes Stair Vacuuming Easy
This vacuum cleaner is used in our finished basement. So less traffic but there are stairs. Suction is great and unit is lightweight. Detaching from the rollers and using the vacuum canister like an old school canister type works great on the stairs. The stair attachment tool works very well. This was our first Shark and we are happy with our purchase. The bin fills up quickly but for this usage, that is fine. Overall very good value.

Excellent So Far
The motor is much quieter than my old eureka airspeed one! The suction is fantastic it definitely picks up the deep down dirt. Easy to assemble and use. I wish the plastic latches and tabs looked more sturdy to match the quality of the motor. The swivel feature is nice! One inconvenience is that some debris likes to get stuck in the dust cup I use a bamboo skewer to release it. I’m very satisfied with my purchase as long as the latches hold up!

Amazing vaccum
I did lots of research and found this vacuum to be one of the higher-rated vacuums on the market. It’s amazing and picks up 50x more dirt than my old small vacuum. However, I wish this one came with all the attachments. It only comes with the upholstery and corner attachments and I was able to get the pet brush attachment from a family member with a compatible vacuum. The manual lists other attachments made for this vacuum that aren’t included. Stairs are more difficult, but with the pet brush and the lift-away feature it’s not as difficult as some other bulky vacuums would be.

For the amazing reviews this has, I don’t love it. I like the lightweight body, but there’s so much I don’t like. I don’t like the canister that holds the dirt. It is too small and gets blocked too easily. When you empty it, the whole outside ends up a mess and the dirt just goes everywhere! It’s almost impossible to vacuum high pile rugs and or low pile area rugs. If your rug isn’t fully installed and stapled down, this is not the vacuum for you. Also, a bottom hose constantly comes undone which is an important component to stay put together. I wish I looked around more before buying this, but I just saw a good price and a high volume of reviews thinking, it must be good. It leaves a lot to be desired.

Not what I expected
I had my old upright for over 25 years and thought nothing could clean better. It was the very first Dyson so I was used to the suction power. Well I used this and OMG the suction power on this was amazing, it pulled things out of the rug I had never seen before lol. I’ve only had it for a short time but I am completely impressed. It would have gotten 5 stars but the attachments they advertised aren’t the ones the vacuum came with and now I have to spend more money. BUT overall really good—so far

Worst purchase for my home
After buying my first home and filled with the excitement to make my first large purchase, I did a lot of research and wanted to go against the trend of buying a Dyson. This vacuum worked well for a few days, and immediately started just blowing dust and dirt around instead of doing its job. It now sits in my basement and collects dust. One of the best
Having tried MANY different vacuums and vacuum types this is probably my fav. Excellent suction, easy to use and clean, light weight , good cord length…only three issues (so far): ONE: THE CORD’s exit location is (naturally) very low on the base which allows the cord to be pinched when the base unit is angled while in use. TWO: the hose for use with attachments is a bit too short; THREE: the location of the attachments (handy) makes them too close to your hip while in use and therefore need to be removed while vacuuming..

Poor quality! Save your money!!
This shark was on sale and since my current shark vac is 3 yrs old I decided to purchase a new and improved version. Not! It’s cheaply made and the hose that connects the vac to the brush area keeps coming off. It doesnt clean area rugs without getting them stuck and cause the brush light to turn red and stop working I’ve used it tho and so i cant return it. The vac makes a piercing noise when.you turn it off too. Frustrating! I feel like I wasted my hard earned money and got cheated. Very poor quality.
