Cleans very well (tufted and polyester) , light and easy to handle, enough supplies to do the job right out of the box, small footprint for storage. Note the solution container is smaller, which contributes to the light weight. Beats renting the heavy machines used by folks with major fecal or urine contamination in their carpets and returned to the rental station for the next customer…
The only thing I don’t like about this product is that it requires pre-sweeping if you have a mild mess on the floor. In my case, I have one cat and a 5-year-old daughter who leave crumbs here and there on the hardwood floor. The cat sometimes flings litter out of the box and sheds more during summer. If I don’t pre-sweep, all of this gets sucked in and cleaned off the floor. However, when it’s time to do a deep clean, there’s a flood of water, chemicals, and dirt because everything you’ve sucked in clogs the tubing where the clean water circulates, affecting the flow the machine needs to auto-clean. This will also happen if you have a “hairy” area rug. DO NOT vacuum/clean it without first ensuring the hair is gone, or it will be a pain to clean the parts afterward. It’s a good product if you do the Pre-Cleaning. 😊

This is a bad brush design and I am mad I bought the machine. Only half the mop head cleans. It streaks and doesn’t clean well at all. Floors still dirty after use. Used a microfiber cloth after to wipe streaks and cloth dirty. Don’t waste your money

Fantastic purchase for all hard floors and 3 pets!
I live in an apartment that has all hard floors with 2 dogs and a cat. The idea of sweeping and mopping all of that, especially because one of the dogs and the cat shed a lot and the litter mat doesn’t catch all of the litter which means cleaning the floors all the time. I had thought about getting one of those robot vacuum/mop combos, but the price was a little out of my budget. There was a Black Friday deal for this one, and I know that Bissell makes a good product, so I snatched it up. I have really enjoyed using this. My floors are clean, and it works on my area rug. I also like that a percentage of each purchase goes to the Bissell Pet Foundation to help animal shelters.

Dirty water drips back on the floor.
I’m not sure I’m back, mopping the right way because dirty water comes back on the floor. I’ve only tried it once and it’s not great, but my floors are very dirty and I have a lot of hair from pets. I will try it again. However, I recently adopted two kittens and Bissell paid for the adoption through the pet program. I was very pleased with that.

Works well
I have 2 dogs and a lot of hard surfaces on 2 levels. That makes for lots of furballs and muddy paw prints. We have a lot of sand…so there’s plenty of that too! Mopping the floor took forever, required an extra dose of ibuprofen, and was really tiring. The Crosswave cleans much better and consistently. A couple of provisions: Because of the amount of fur and sand I pre-vacuum. I clean the Crosswave after each use which isn’t that hard but takes a bit of time. I do a bit of extra cleaning with a wet jet Swiffer along some of the floorboards as the Crosswave heads don’t quite reach the edge (and I see no way that they could because they have to be inside a “housing”) Overall, I save at least an hour (and an aching back) on each level cleaned. I also switch out the cleaning heads and solution used between my hardwood and LVP floors. Good investment!

Best Wet Mop Vacuum
I wouldn’t trade the Bissell crosswave for any mop in the world. I have two dogs that shed like crazy and two teenagers that don’t pick up anything. This month gets it all and doesn’t leave a sticky or cleaning solution residue on my floors! 1,000 times recommended!

Not good for tile floors
I gave this 2 stars because the one star is for it being easy to assemble and the other is because you can see that the mop function seems to sprays liquid. Although it sprays liquid, it is not good on tile floors for cleaning dog urine. My floor is all sticky and shiny as well as the fact I have almost fallen and my mom has almost fallen because the floor is so slippery. It does not collect animal hair like the description suggests it does and the solutions don’t work because like I said it does not mop up anything it only spreads urine around. I received this yesterday(December 10) and I am returning it today(11). It was a gift to my mom because her dog is diabetic so she pees everywhere and mopping the floor hurts my mom‘s back but this solution made me fall and my mom fall. If you have a tile floor, I would not recommend this product.

We just got a 11 week old Great Dane puppy and we have a German shepherd so there’s a LOT of dog hair around with the occasional accident. This vacuum has been a game changer for my family! No more hair all over the place, easy to clean up any accidents, and it’s self cleaning so that’s helpful as well. Highly recommend to anyone with a pet! The vacuum is also very easy to take apart to clean as well. Just make sure you keep the cord away from the vacuum when using it or it will eat the cord and shred it up. Happened to my original cross wave I bought.

10 out of 10 – A++++ I wanted one of these when they first came out but I didn’t feel comfortable spending the price. When I saw this on sale for black Friday I told me husband I wanted it for my birthday as my vacuum had just died. I have two young sons, a dog, my husband and I; our house is all hardwood/vinyl flooring & tile with area rugs with the exception of the boys rooms with are carpeted. My floors collect dirt like I can’t believe. It was always such a process to sweep or vacuum the floors than mop. The CrossWave is a God send – it is SO quick, SO convenient and I can not even believe how dirty the water is when I’m done! The first time I used it I questioned my cleaning skills up to this point! Its so easy to go from the hard wood floors – to the area rugs and back again with the push of a button. I even used it in the boys rooms on their low pile carpet and it worked great – picked up everything and left the carpets refreshed. They other day my little guy got the stomach flu and threw up on the carpet – worked great cleaning that mess up. So much easier that paper towels and carpet cleaner. I take it apart and clean it after each use and leave the parts to air dry. That’s really easy and doesn’t take much time at all. If your a parent, a pet parent or just need a quick easy way to clean your hard floors this is the thing for you. 100% recommend it!

Fantastic for pet owners!
How did I not find this earlier? I love this cleaner, super easy to use and does a great job at cleaning. With 3 dogs our floors never seemed clean. Pulling out the mop or swifter wet jet was never getting floors really clean and was a hassle. The cleaning cycle is amazing and keeps cleaner nice and fresh smelling. The cleaner has a heavy base so it stays on the floor unlike the wet jet which you really have to hold to the floor. I would definitely recommend this cleaner especially to pet parents.

Digging deep
I do not like carpets. Period. But… living on a 3rd floor calls for carpet wall to wall. And we have a small dog. I tried this Bissell CrossWave for the first time today (received it last evening). Oh my God!! This thing digs deeper than any regular vacuum would. It does vacuum AND clean the carpet all at once and works super well or hard floor at the switch of a button. It is simply an amazing machine/invention, easy to clean and store. I always purchase Bissell products for their quality and also for their Bissell Pet Foundation.

I hate mopping
This thing is the best, I hope it lasts! I use mine to mop about 1x a week and vacuum up around the kitchen/dining room almost daily. My kids enjoy using it too, which is great. The floor is so much cleaner now, and I love that it is always cleaning with fresh water. The battery lasts just long enough for me to mop the downstairs of my home, about 900 sf, with a couple water changes. I use the Bissell solution or biokleen bac-out pet in it, which doesn’t foam, and has a pH between 6-9. The self-cleaning mode works much better than I expected!

Really great for a small place with little carpeting
I got tired of using the old mop out of the bathtub. This little cordless vac/mop is great to spot vac my hardwood floors and then mop clean. I’ve been using this for several months now. It’s easy to use and understand the functions. You dry vacuum with it first then dump it and fill up with warm water and solution then mop/vac the floors clean. It does a pretty good job and my floors dry quickly. A regular mop just pushes around the dirt whereas to this sucks up the mop water. The Bissell crosswave omniforce moves around with little effort and is lightweight. After your done you just have to rinse a few things after putting it through the self cleaning feature. Great for keeping down all the dust in my place!

I swept and mopped before this came and ran it around the house again and it makes a big difference! I do find it pretty heavy to move around and the chord is difficult to deal with. It’s still easier then filling up the good ole mop bucket. Happy with purchase!

Best household appliance ever
I just love this! I have a house trained dog and 2 cats . This has been a lifesaver. No more wringing out dirty mops! I use it everyday. It makes the drudgery of mopping floors so easy almost fun! The self cleaning feature is a winner. My little dog is puppy pad trained but his aim is questionable. So this means some mopping is needed. I highly recommend this, for me it has been a game changer. Customer service is very good I had a minor problem with it stalling in the cleaning cycle. I called customer service they were very patient linked up my camera so they could look at the machine. The problem was a simple fix. Clean off the contact points on the filter. They also sent me a new filter . All said I am very pleased and highly recommend the product and the company. I love what they do for pets!

I have waited for this to go on sale and honestly…I would have paid full price earlier if I would have known how amazing this thing was! It’s mud season and I have three dogs. This vacuum/mop has changed the game. I got the cordless one. It does take a little time to clean it all out once done but not nearly as long as it would for me to sweep AND mop. I am beyond excited! It worked great! Only had to add water once and I did my basement, living level, and kitchen. Suction is great. It’s light weight. I am So happy with this!

Not a good pet vacuum
I’ve had way too many errors with this machine. I have two cats but this vacuum cannot handle their hair. It gets clogged, the pieces have broken. Not worth the money. I wish I could return it.

Best thing ever

Stinks terribly, waste of money
It was fantastic for the first couple of times i used it, when i anticipated taking the half hour or so of cleaning it out thoroughly, laying it all out to dry. However, fast forward to days where i need to vaccuum in a rush and don’t have time for all that… The button for the spray setting is in the handle and so easily pushed, that even when I’m trying to do a dry vacuum I accidentally push it. This one push of a spray means I have to take the whole thing apart to clean thoroughly or else it will develop bacteria and stink up the whole room. It also doesn’t vacuum as well as it did 4 months ago. I’m so sick of it already. What a waste of money.

Dont waste your money
we got this thinking it was going to be lightweight and wonderful. It is lightweight but it doesnt pick up and when it does it clogs n immediately and wont pick up anything. I tried the mopping feature, it wont even suck up the dirty water. Now my floor is nice and streaked!!!

The worst vacuum I’ve ever owned
I thought I’d get a corded vacuum for more power since we have a dog and a cat. This is absolutely the worst vacuum I’ve ever purchased. It is heavy, gets clogged every 5 minutes because of poor design, it doesn’t pick up anything regardless of what setting I use. Please don’t waste your money.

Not as expected
This machine does not work as well as expected. The tank is too small and a pain to clean. The self clean brush is nice, but after it’s done, the filter inside the tank has to be removed and SCRUBBED after each use and set out to dry or else it molds and smells! With that being said…. forget about vacuuming until the filter is completely dry or you’re back at square 1. Would not purchase again and unfortunately for me, I’m outside of the return window
