For years I have always purchased my vacuum’s based on “price”. For some reason I felt the more expensive vacuum was better quality I I WAS ABSOLUTELY WRONG !!!! – – It took this purchase of the Bissell® CleanView Swivel Vacuum to proved to me price means NOTHING. It is expertly designed – very easy to use – to empty – to clear the hose of blocks. All the parts click into place perfectly. The suction is unbelievably strong and the hose is nice and long so I can reach up to the ceiling with no problems. I THINK BISSELL DESERVES A THUMBS UP FOR THIS ONE !!!!!
I bought this in September 2024, and the drive belt broke in January 2025. Drive belts and filters are not covered under warranty. Given that these are prone to break, you would think the design would facilitate replacement – but no. Rather than a simple system without screws, you have to remove 7 screws to get to the brush area. In my case, dog hair had built up underneath the belt cover and eventually broke the drive belt. In the picture, the lime green plastic cover on the left is where the belt is. Note that you would have to remove the cover screws to clean the brush or even to simply check for dog hair build up. I bet the screws aren’t under warranty either, since stripping them is all too likely. Otherwise, I love how good a job this does pulling up Golden Retriever fur off the carpet. It is a shame none of the product designers considered whether it is simple to maintain.

Honestly, this vacuum is the best one for right around $100. It really has great quality, is much easier to use than the one I had before, and the size is about average, with it being lighter. I would recommend this vacuum to anyone I know looking for a vacuum at this price point.

Amazing if you have pets
The vacuum is perfect! We bought a different cordless vacuum we hoped was strong enough to clean up dog and cat hair, but it was an embarrassment compared to this vacuum. This is so easy to manipulate and I love being able to reach difficult spots with the rotation of the base. Only change I would make is having a longer hose piece as it is super short to be able to vacuum the stairs.

I needed a basic vacuum to remove pet hair. This vacuum was on sale during Prime days and the reviews were positive so I purchased it. After vacuuming I was so surprised that my hall runner rugs looked brand new again. I didn’t expect such excellent performance based on the price I paid. Good suction poor upholstery/belt issue
The suction on this vacuum is great but the only problem I have is when I’m using the hose the beater bar still runs. It makes the belt get to hot. I’m going to try to return it because I have huskies and I need a vacuum that has great suction and won’t burn a belt up by having the beater still run while using the hose. So I don’t suggest this vacuum if you need to vacuum and use the upholstery attachments

I can’t say enough good things about this vacuum. The attached picture was taken the first day I got it after vacuuming 2 small bedrooms and my stairs. Now I have 4 cats and generally vacuum twice a week and I vacuumed 3 days before getting this and I’m astonished at what it picked up/how much it got. Even after I was done with the first bedroom I called my boyfriend to come take a look and we were flabbergasted. If you’re on the fence, buy this vacuum, you won’t regret it. It’s easy to use, quiet, I love that it swivels, the only things it’s missing is a power retractable cord but for the price and the work it does I can forgive it.

Attachments are Amazing Works on all types of Floors
I recently moved and was in the market for a decent priced vacuum that could be of use in all rooms of the house. My partner has dogs, and he brings them when he visits every few weeks, it was so nice to have this handy when his dogs left. the pet attachment works great on rugs and the couch. the suction is awesome. and what’s crazy was the assembly was even easier. It wheels around like a charm and gets all the hard-to-reach spaces on my hard wood floor.

Caught on fire, twice…
Used for about 5 hours over the course of a few months before it started to put out a very noticeable burning smell before the motor briefly caught on fire and it stopped working. Warranty replacement process is long and annoying, took about a month with multiple trips to a local repair store that just sends it to Bissel for replacement. New one I got maybe 7-8 hours of operation use out of and had to replace melted belts 4 times. The motor is now shooting sparks out again and getting ready to catch on fire. This thing is a huge hazard. *Update* I did contact Bissel support again and even though they confirmed the warranty through 10/23/2025 they would not do anything about a vacuum that caught itself on fire the 2nd time. It’s far too dangerous for me to be using this is on my house anyways so I don’t really care they refused to fix or replace it under its warranty. But does show the support is as bad as the product.

Flawed design burns brush belt – fire hazard
The case for the roller brush belt gets clogged with debris very easily and jams the brush while the belt still runs. This smoked up really quick and just kept smoking while touching dust, pet hair, etc. This is a recipe for a fire.

Best vacuum for pet hair
The media could not be loaded. I sometimes groom my German Shepherd-Husky mix dog indoors. Needless to say, my multicolored rug turns blonde afterwards. This vacuum is the best thing ever. Good Suction on Carpet
If I could give 4.5 I would. I’m generally not a fan of corded vacuums like this because of the bulkiness, but I went with this one because of the price. Choosing this one was definitely the right choice because it’s amazing on carpet. I vacuumed my new apartment before setting furniture up just to be safe and it pulled up pet hair I don’t the the previous tenant’s vacuum was strong enough for. The carpet looked perfectly clean and you could see the vacuum marks, this vacuum is just better than what they used. The only things I don’t love about it are the hose and it’s performance on hardwood. The hose is stretchy, but not enough that it won’t fall over if I go too far away. I am constantly pulling the vacuum over on myself when I’m using the hose to clean my cat’s litter mat (the mat corners get stuck in the vacuum when I try to use it upright). As for the performance on hardwood, it’s not horrible, but I definitely need to sweep first if I want it really clean. The bottom just doesn’t quite get low enough to trap all the tiny bits. I don’t mind sweeping so it’s really not a big deal, just minorly annoying.

This is a lightweight vacuum with great suction power. We got it to replace an older model basic Bissell and I wish we had gotten it sooner. It glides easily on our new carpet and seems to clean well without fear of it tearing up our new fibers. It handles pet hair well and empties easily. I have a husky and carpet floors for reference, this thing lasted three months maybe four at max if I was really pushing it. After the end of the third month it quite literally stopped sucking anything up off the floors. I’ve disassembled the entire thing to clear anything in the vacuum, no help. Does the job well
I purchased this vacuum several months ago to replace a cordless one I had previously. It took some getting used to having to stop and move the cord around our house, but the fact that it actually suctions up our pet hair (2 long haired cats and a dog) on the first try without effort makes up for it. For me, it is heavier than a cordless vacuum but honestly not too heavy to struggle to handle. Liking it so far.

OMG! This vacuum cleaner is IT
Bottom line is that this vacuum cleaner will DEFINITELY let you know that the vacuum cleaner you were or are currently using is NOT doing the job. I tried it for the first time on my FRESHLY shampooed hallway carpets that I vacuumed with my VERY old Sanitaire made for the hospitality industry before shampooing. The the canister was at the full line just doing that small area. I was amazed!! I had NO idea there was that much dirt IN my carpet which was replaced about 5 years ago. The BEST vacuum I’ve ever owned hands down. I love everything about it.

Poorly Designed Brush Roller
The brush roll jammed after 1 month of normal use. The instruction video I watched said the roller needs to be replaced, which costs $21. This seems like an example of a product with a few poorly designed pieces so the company can keep making money off replacement parts.

Great suction power
I have 3 cats and this thing picks up every last hair off of the carpet. I also use the attachments to vacuum my sofas and blankets. I clean 3x a week and have to empty the canister 1x a week. Best part is the filter is reusable and washable. Comes with a few attachments that make it easier to clean edges and furniture. Also very easy to do maintenance like cleaning the brush rollers and has an indicator when suction is low due to a clog.

Great vac but turbo eraser pet tool is junk
I recently purchased this vacuum and used it about three times. So far, I LOVE everything about it except for the turbo eraser pet tool for the stairs. The “teeth” on the roller keep breaking off with every use. They are made of plastic. That is the only flaw that I have found so far. The suction is great! Overall, I’m happy with the product.

SO DISAPPOINTED
Purchased this based on reviews of great suction and cleaning. We have two short haired indoor dogs and one short haired indoor kitty….but, lots of dust because we live on 10 acres with little lawn but lots of dirt and pastureland. Suction is great but the vacuum hose clogs up a lot. (right at the intake from the sweeper area) Then, it has to be unscrewed and taken apart several times in order to fully vacuum our 1200 sq foot carpeted area. Frustrating!! Seems to be a design issue rather than a malfunction so don’t think it can be fixed under warranty. Guess I’ll donate it to a charity. Might be ok for an ‘in town’ home situation.
