For years I have always purchased my vacuum’s based on “price”. For some reason I felt the more expensive vacuum was better quality I I WAS ABSOLUTELY WRONG !!!! – – It took this purchase of the Bissell® CleanView Swivel Vacuum to proved to me price means NOTHING. It is expertly designed – very easy to use – to empty – to clear the hose of blocks. All the parts click into place perfectly. The suction is unbelievably strong and the hose is nice and long so I can reach up to the ceiling with no problems. I THINK BISSELL DESERVES A THUMBS UP FOR THIS ONE !!!!!
I bought this in September 2024, and the drive belt broke in January 2025. Drive belts and filters are not covered under warranty. Given that these are prone to break, you would think the design would facilitate replacement – but no. Rather than a simple system without screws, you have to remove 7 screws to get to the brush area. In my case, dog hair had built up underneath the belt cover and eventually broke the drive belt. In the picture, the lime green plastic cover on the left is where the belt is. Note that you would have to remove the cover screws to clean the brush or even to simply check for dog hair build up. I bet the screws aren’t under warranty either, since stripping them is all too likely. Otherwise, I love how good a job this does pulling up Golden Retriever fur off the carpet. It is a shame none of the product designers considered whether it is simple to maintain.

Much improved over previous models
I purchased this vacuum to replace an older Bissel that no longer had replacement parts available. The suction is stronger while the motor is quieter. The attachments work great, and the clear plastic housing makes it easier to spot issues before stressing the motor. The cord is a bit longer than my previous vacuum, the ball-and-socket hinge takes stress off of the wrist, and makes it easier to get into corners and crevices.

product was missing two screws and could not be assembled
Supposedly there are two screws taped to the handle to kickstart the assembly – but there were no screws taped to the handle – and that kills the entire assembly process.

Great suction
I had been using a Dyson for about 10 years and I thought it was doing a good job. Then, about a month ago it started getting really hard to manage and I realized it wasn’t swiveling anymore. It was also pretty heavy so I thought I’d try something new. Best decision ever! I didn’t realize how much the old vacuum wasn’t picking up until I used this. It’s great and very easy to handle and clean.

Is this a real vacuum?
This vacuum is very lightweight. So lightweight that it could almost pass as a children’s toy vacuum. I’ve been using this vacuum for about a month and I have a feeling that the motor is going to burn out soon. It has been making a terrible squeaking sound since the second time I’ve used it. On the plus side, it’s light and the canister is easy to empty. On the down side, it is cheaply made and isn’t likely to last a year. I will be purchasing another Shark brand vacuum as soon as this one bites the dust.

Broke After One Months Use
I bought this vacuum because my other one broke and I needed one quick. I didn’t think this would be the best vacuum in the word just based on the price tag, but I needed one to get me through day to day until I could save for a better one. I bought this in August and now only a few days into October it is broken. It is completely unrepairable, and I have to throw it away, not worth the money.

Amazing vacuum
The best vacuum we have purchased. Worth it. We have two dogs, a Belgian Malanois and a chihuahua mix dog. Both shed, and this vacuum will pick up everything. Dust, hair, anything, it will pick it up. Great suction and lightweight. Long cord as well is an added bonus.

The Winner
This is the best vacuum I have ever owned. No other vacuum can beat its suction. The dust bin is extremely easy to empty. The automatic cord recoil is genius. And an old lady on a cane can hoist the vacuum and carry it up the stairs. In case you’re interested in such details, this is due in equal measure to its light weight and the way the weight is distributed. I’m still giddy about this thing, and I bought a year ago.

I have been around the block a few times when it comes to ordering vacuums and let me tell you something, this one sucks! The amount of suction and grip you get is phenomenal! The mobility you get with the sizzle is like driving a go-kart through your living room. The attachments? Don’t even get me started! This vacuum is way better than my shark navigator as far as suction on my thick carpet. The pet hair tool on my steps has an awesome suction as well. love how the extra pieces fits on the vac so you won’t have to worry about misplacing them. Assembling was very easy there’s to little screws to hold the handle in place i don’t know if it’s my screwdriver but screwing them in wasn’t an ease to me. The hose is not long at all so reaching high places might be a problem but you gotta do what ya gotta do to make it work and once again the powerful suction trumps minor flaws. It gives a cheap toy like look. it’s an awesome buy to me so far.

Dangerous!
Hate this sweeper. I cannot understand all the good reviews, except maybe people don’t use the hose attachment. The hose attachment is fine as long as you use it up high, but if you are cleaning baseboards, or using an attachment to clean throw rugs the suction is so strong, it pulls the canister back into you. Be careful, I have been slammed many times. Even laying the canister down doesn’t help much. In my opinion the hose should be at the bottom of the sweeper. I have a lot of dog/cat hair. I need a vacuum that is easy to maneuver. This isn’t it.

Dust container/bin cracked when received – Product probably okay
Probably a great vacuum but the dust bin/container was cracked in multiple places. Pictures are not great but there were cracks both in the front by the release button and in the back by the hinges. I didn’t notice the cracks until I emptied the dust container. Be sure to look it over carefully before assembling and using the product. I should have been more critical of the condition of the vacuum when I unpacked it. I’m really disappointed as I did a lot of research prior to purchasing it.

Good Vacuum But Some Flaws…
Good suction, limited tools (doesn’t come with longer extension for hand hose). The vacuum is very light which is a good and a bad thing. The problem is when you are using the hand tool + hose, it is easy to tip the vacuum over because it is so light, you can’t really use the hand tools without keeping your hand on the vacuum to stop it from tipping over. My old vacuum cleaner was much heavier so this wasn’t an issue. That’s the only negative I can see so far. Otherwise a good product.

Love it! (so far)
I’ve had this around a month and so far, so good! Strong suction, love the swivel design and emptying it is a breeze! Long hair from the bathroom floor and elsewhere doesn’t seem to get caught in the cannister OR the rotating brush / beater bar. This replaced and OLD Hoover that I’ve had for close to 20 years and little by little pieces started to break and it was time for a new one. The Bissell is lighter, and I am able to easily vacuum our carpeted stairs by carrying the vacuum by the cannister handle and lip under cannister – EASILY! While the stored attachments seem to fall off while I’m using the vacuum I can overlook that by how well it is sucking up dirt and dust. Our rugs are not new but when I used the new Bissel it sucked up so much fiber seemed like brand new rugs. Guess old one wasn’t as thorough. I hope it lasts because I love it so far!

I read all the glowing reviews and bought this vacuum when I retired my old one. After using on 3 new area rugs the canister was full (rugs were shedding). Wow. Then I used it on a large rug I’ve had for a couple of years that I recently cleaned thoroughly twice and again, wow. Was my old vacuum even picking up anything? Also, with rugs so clean the colors brightened. My sister bought a more expensive vacuum product and it doesn’t pick up this well. It’s a sports car in a mini van vacuum world. I would buy again in a heartbeat. I never leave reviews this strongly worded, but I’m glad I followed the many great reviews already posted.

Best Vacume
The retractable cord is awesome, it doesn’t get stuck like my last vacume did. I thought my non slip rugs were just good at staying down when I vacume, but nope, it’s because my vacume of less than 6 months sucked. This vacume has really good suction. It is easy to move around corners and light. I love the results after. I actually like vacuuming and that use to be hard to say.

I like the color, how big canister is and the pet eraser attachment works better than my old one. I don’t like the placement of the cord for it’s on right side and if your right handed this means it will cross the front on stairs and gets in the way and knocks off the attachments-on the back which was annoying but figured I wouldn’t get a full refund for I used it so is what it is.

Woooooooo this vacuum replaced my tired ol Shark Navigator! For the price this thing has so much dang value! As a father of 3 I’m fairly attached at the hip to my cleaning supplies. It’s ability to clean and it’s pickup speed is awesome. Suction and build quality are on the higher end but in some spots are a little weak. This rather economical Brissell replaced my very expensive Dyson and it is far better ! I never expected for it to work so well. I was convince it was the best choice within 5 minutes. the only issue I have is that it brings a triangle accessory and the vacuum itself has a place for all its accessories except for that one not sure why… so it now sits somewhere in the garage hoping it wont get lost. But really, that is minute compare to how well this vacuum works

I own a cleaning business and on a residential homes this is a great vacuum. Light weight, easy to maneuver and best of all picks up pet hair without clogging. Super easy to discard of material and easy to clean. The added pet brush that attaches to hose really is powerful and gets hair off furniture with ease.

Moved into an apartment 2 months ago. I owned an overpriced Dyson vacuum. I felt like it wasn’t preforming as well as it should. When trying to take it apart for cleaning, I couldn’t figure it out. Decided to purchase a new vacuum and I chose chose this one. It’s easy to take apart and clean everything when needed. The second photo is after going over the living room ONE TIME!!!
