Got 2 stars because I did like this vacuum. It was good when it worked. However, purchased October 2022- RIP March 2024. Less than 2 years of use. And we even have maids that use their own vacuum when they come. We use this vacuum between their visits so not much longevity here…

I just unboxed this vacuum today and gave it a go after putting it together and all I can say is holy cow! It got stuff our older vacuum never could. It picked up A LOT in just a small area and off the carpet. I love that it is so easy to push and light weight (becauseits mainly light weight plastic, almost cheap feeling). It’s a good size, just wish the bottom wasn’t quite as wide. This was only the first so we’ll see how it does over time.

Why did I wait so long?!?!?
All I can say is WOW!! We have been using a stick vacuum by a different company and it seemed to be doing ok, we have hard floors and a couple of area rugs. In anticipation of this vac coming in I vacuumed 2 of the area rugs. When this arrived I quickly put it together, super simple by the way. I then proceeded to use it on the area rugs I’d already vacuumed. OMG!! I had to stop and empty the dust been twice and I’m fairly sure I could get more up if I did it a third time. Don’t hesitate to get this.

Crying over how strong it is
This vacuum is POWERFUL. I assembled it ten minutes ago, and decided to vacuum even though I just vacuumed yesterday with my Bissel Featherweight. Well. Let me tell you, I thought I liked my small one…. It did a well enough job. This vacuum put it to shame, and was full before I could finish half the room. I’m shocked by the amount of dust that was hiding in my carpet. Easy to use. Too good at it’s job. Gonna tattoo it’s name on my chest like a nascar sponsor.

Suction power is great and it picks up a lot of dust and animal hair, but that doesn’t take into account that it blows stuff all over the floor and doesn’t pick up hardly anything on hard surfaces. I’m NOT going all over my hard surfaces with the hose, that’s ridiculous. It also left things on my carpeted floors like lint and things my animals ripped up. I have incredibly long and thick hair and I shed a lot. I also have a fluffy bunny with thick long fur, who sheds a lot, and gets hay and litter everywhere. I bought this vacuum a few years ago because it was rated well for pets, it was AMAZING. So amazing in fact that I just moved halfway across the world and I am buying the same vacuum, again. This thing is easy to use, easy to clean out, has versatile parts, and SUCKS. Dirt, dust, dust-bunnies (both dust and bunny generated), hay, crumbs, human hair, broken glass, rocks, paper litter, anything that spilled, this vacuum sucked it up. I did have the hose get a bit clogged occasionally (did I mention all the hair and fur mixed with hay everywhere….?) BUT if you unhook the hose and stretch it out straight as far as it will go most clogs get sucked into the can for easy disposal. Just get it already!!!

I bought this in 2021. Loved. my other Bissell. It the belt kep breaking and this had fantastic reviews. I have all Persian rugs, and two doodle large dogs, two cats. The Machine is an absolute waste of money. I’ve reordered belts again and again. Finally took the vacuum to the repair store near me and they told me the company just doesn’t make machines like they used to in the past. I tried to call customer service multiple times and the nicer I was the less helpful they were. I now have two big Bissell wasting space. I’ll stick to my stick Dyson which does better in one hour than changing a belt. What a disappointment.

The first thing to say about this vacuum sweeper is that it is very powerful. I purchased this model to replace my last vacuum that was no longer working and I was instantly surprised about how much it picked up. You have to put this sweeper together when it arrives but that is fairly easy. Then you are good to go. It moves easily over both carpet and hardwood floors. Good vacuum. Happy with my purchase.

I have lived in this apartment for 3.5 weeks.The first picture is of the dining room, which I have yet to use… what the heck?!? Broken after 1.5 years
I bought this vacuum February 2022 and it broke about a month ago. We finally figured out that a belt underneath that makes the bristles/brush to pick everything up turn snapped. And i only use it on hardwood and 1 rug. Emailing support to hopefully get the belt replaced but shouldn’t have broken after only a year. Unfortunate because otherwise it is a great vacuum for the price.

Honest 6 month review
I can honestly say, this is easily one of the best vacuums I’ve owned. In the last 5 years, I’ve gone through 6 vacuums. 5 of them were shark vacuums. I have a lot of kids and a Great Pyrenees, so I need something that can pick up pet hair and kid mess. When you spend $300 on a vacuum, you’d expect it to last but I couldn’t be more unsatisfied with shark. I thought, well I’m going to find a cheaper one. If I have to replace it so often, I’d rather spend less lol. Well look no further! This bissell sucks up pet messes so well and it holds up great! I am impressed! I’m 6 months in on this one, and still just as happy as the day I got it!

I needed an adorable vacuum and this did not disappoint! This is my first Bissell and I see why it is the best brand for vacuum’s. It picks up everything from crumbs to pet hair leaving the hardwood floors and carpet super clean! I especially like that you can see the bristles going when its on and the compartment fill up with everything. My previous vacuum would actually push all the crumbs away when it was on but this one pulls them in! It is very powerful! I love my Bissell and it actually makes cleaning more fun!

Terrible sweeper with good suction
This sweeper is poorly designed. The brush head rolls constantly, even when using the supplementary tools. The rubber ‘teeth’ on the head grab into the rug and prevent it from moving when you try to vacuum in a direction it doesn’t like, so you have to pick it up and set it down again. Just a nightmare to use for vacuuming an area rug. The attachments are good for cleaning upholstery, as long as the brush head isn’t anywhere near something it can suck up, since it never stops rolling. It does have a nice swiveling head, but you can’t lock the head in place, so it swivels around when you don’t want it to.

Good, but I liked my Shark better
This is a great value because it’s so cheap, and really well put together. I have no complaints about the design and the tank is easy to empty and nice and big. BUT it does lack power compared to our old Shark. They are much more expensive, so totally makes sense that this wouldn’t match it.

I LOOOVE this vacuum! I have never had a vacuum with such good suction power. It got up stuff my old one did not and I was in shock. I have small children, German shepherd, cat, dirt driveway and my husband works in a quarry and sand and gravel. The need for a good vacuum is high. I have mostly hard floors and this does not shoot stuff out at you. The vacuum is very light weight and It’s not super loud. The canister is very easy to empty. My old vac I use to have to take the canister apart or stick my hand in but this one is such a nice size and holds a lot but it still seems to just come out even with all the dog hair. The swivel is really nice as well makes getting under things and in odd spaces much easier. A couple things I wish it had was a cord that sucked back into the vacuum and the hose extender tool I can’t seem to get it to sit tightly in its spot or come apart so not sure what I’m doing wrong there but in no way does that change that I would buy another one of these. In fact I suggested it to a couple family members and they purchased one as well and love it. They use theirs for a beach rental. Do not hesitate to buy this.

My first new vacuum in 30 years and what a great Machine. I have other Bissell products and highly recommend them. Easy to assemble and very easy to use.
