I used this to keep my laptop and cell phone charged on a long road trip, and it worked like a dream! The USB-C plug provides fast-charging power for my phone whereas the USB plugs and wireless pad built into the vehicle are only regular charge capable. I was also able to charge my laptop and my phone at the same time, no problem. The cooling fan was almost completely silent to the point that I had to check to see if it was on, and it’s also one of the smallest inverters of this type that I’ve ever owned and very lightweight, so it doesn’t get in the way! My one complaint is that the cord is a little shorter than would be ideal, and I had to have it on the passenger seat from the 12V plug in the console. If I plugged it into the one on the dash, it would just dangle before reaching the floor, and I didn’t want it to swing and scratch the plastic. I might consider putting it inside the console next time and just running the charging cords out, but I’d have to find a new home for the stuff in there and it would lack ventilation.

Durable little thing
One of the best power inverters I’ve ever used. Bought this back in May of 2017; and has officially died (lighter plug-in part broke ). So here I am buying another one. And I mean, this has been used and abused. From hundreds of 6-8 hr drives, being on continiously for 15 hrs straight, charging phones and laptops. Being out on long drives across dirt roads and country side. I spend the majority of my time and work on the road so this has been my daily. For the past 7 years. Definitely quality built

Bought two. The cigarette receptacle in my vehicle works fine with all phone chargers so I don’t think it’s the receptacle. Bought two (one for each of our vehicles) with intent to use the grounded part of the plug openings to power an earthing mat for husband and self to use while traveling. Right out of the box, one unit won’t light up to show power at all (the unit has a little light built in that comes on to show that it’s getting power, and yes I had it seated firmly in my vehicle’s receptacle and yes the power button on the back was switched to the “On” position). The other unit does light up to show that it’s receiving power but my outlet tester shows that it is not properly grounded (and no it’s not a problem with the outlet tester because I’d just finished testing the outlets inside my house and all showed they were properly grounded); but outlet tester shows that although the second unit is receiving power, it’s not really grounded so can’t use for our intended purpose). Returning both.

To start the review I want to cover the actual quality of the product. The body is made aluminum and feels very sturdy, the plugs don’t feel like there going to pull out and the USB ports keep plugs secure. The preformance- currently it’s mounted to the passenger side of the center console and I have my phone charger and my jump pack charger connected to the USB with the M18/M12 combo charger and DeWalt charger plugged in to the outlets it’s able to charger everything when connected with no issues or overheating. Something to note is that even if you turn off the device, the USB ports will still get power. Overall I recommend the product and have zero complaints.

Does not work in a tesla
Tried a road trip and heat up baby formula. Tesla cuts power to the outlet and wala it does not work. After research anything over 200w will not work in a tesla. Maybe carry around a large battery pack for any significant power draw needs.

This was a great purchase to have on a long car trip. It powered a CPAP while passenger was sleeping-boy, was that great to have no snoring. Will not work on Tesla 16v socket
Teslas from the last few years deliver 16v on the cigarette lighter socket. This inverter has an over-voltage cut off right at 16v. This product needs a higher cut-off to work in a Tesla.
