This generator is underrated and outperforms anything out there. It takes care of all my work needs and I don’t have to worry if it’s going to handle the load. The fit and finish are great and its easy to transport. I recommend this to anyone looking for an easy-to-use generator.
specifications were unclear, but reviewers indicated the remote start capability was included. When unit received the 12v battery bay was empty and no remote fob included. Apparently this variant is pull-start only. Not sure yet if they can add kit with capability or if I need to return the entire unit – but working directly with Westinghouse to address.

Best inverter generator at a great price point
The generator arrived undamaged and complete. I have not yet started it up, so cannot vouch for how well it performs. I will followup with more info or another review once I have had it running for at least 5 hours. One complaint I have, though, is that the User Manual references manually using the choke when starting the generator using the gas option while the generator is cold. However, the manual does not provide an explanation or picture to identify the location of the choke lever. I had to find a YouTube video that actually showed the location. So far, however, I feel the generator is well designed and I expect it to preform as advertised. Four stars at this point is due to the issues I have with the Users Manual.

Sturdy, Built-in Handle and wheels, compact, dual fuel, electric start
We just got received this generator. Westinghouse iGen4000DFc, 2 day Amazon shipping, great price! My husband is getting on in years and I wanted a generator I (wife) could start and move). It has a built in transport system, wheels and a retracting handle, electric start with key pod for remote starting, or traditional pull start, just what I need! It is also gas or propane powered, comes with a propane regulator and hose. Comes with oil and a basic care tool kit, parallel cables. It has a 30 Amp plug, 2 110V plugs, 2 USB ports. It’s compact and weighs about 60 pounds. We have not had a chance to get it oiled, fueled, and started, but I am not anticipating any problems, we just love it and look forward to hours of comfort.

Don’t waste your money
Bought this on sept 5 2024, has a build date of April 2024. Used generator twice for a total of maybe 12 hours. First time ran like a champ. Second time it cut off and can’t get it to start back. Westinghouse will not honor their warranty because I bought the used like new option. Generator was new just had a hole in the box. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY on this generator. Buy a quality product from a reputable company.
