I had been eyeing this machine for years after seeing it on social media. I couldn’t pull the trigger because it is expensive and the reviews were a bit mixed. When I saw it for sale with a steep discount during Prime day, I finally committed and I am so glad I did. I am a busy mom of 4 who just doesn’t have time to mop everyday (or week unfortunately). We have tile in the kitchen and hardwood floors where we eat. The kitchen tiles were NEVER clean. I sometimes steamed them twice in a row and then used a regular mop and the floors still didn’t pass the “paper towel” test. Enter Tineco. As soon as I charged it for the first time I did my tiled floors. I did 2 rounds just because I wanted to give the machine a fair shot on floors that never seemed to get clean. Oh my gosh, for the first time EVER there was no residue on a paper towel when I wiped the floor. None whatsoever. I’ve seen complaints about the battery but I have a 3600 sq ft house. I bought the combo (more in that later) which I think has a shorter battery life than the regular Tineco — I can still do my whole first floor before the battery even gets to 30%. I did my entire kitchen, eat in area, living room, dining room, and the first floor bathroom tonight and it was at 40%. I did have to clean the dirty water tank once and add fresh water but I don’t mind. I bought the combo — I wish I would have bought just the regular one. I have yet to use the hand vac and I honestly don’t think I ever will. I can just use our regular vacuum if I need to get into tight crevices. That is my only regret with this machine. Cleaning is a breeze. I had an issue the first time running the self clean — it kept telling me to clean the dirty water tank even though it was clean. I ended up just manually starting the self clean function and it worked like a charm. This machine saves me so much time and now my floors are clean. It takes not even 5 minutes to clean the machine when I’m done (wash the dirty water tank, the roller, wipe down the machine, etc) and that’s because I really want to take care of the machine. You probably don’t need to be as diligent as I am. I did notice it leaves slight streaking on my darker hardwood floors (nothing on my light hardwood). It is minimal and doesnt bother me whatsoever. All in all, I love this machine and so far I don’t regret this purchase whatsoever. I hope this review helps someone who may be contemplating!
I bought the machine three months ago. It is not working correctly. You have to put it on the charger to start the machine. I called the company they had me ship the machine back for repair receive the machine back with the same issue now they want to send me a refurbished machine! After spending almost $500 on a new machine, I have to except a refurbished machine. And they threaten you if you put a negative review.

Easy to use
This is my second Tineco. I had an older model before this one that I used for about a year and a half before it died. I struggled with ordering another one because I do think it’s a lot of money and I’m worried about the life of this one but I bought it anyway. I have hardwood floors throughout my home and use it weekly. I have trouble with my grip so this is much easier for me to use rather than a regular mop. I do have dogs that shed so I vacuum or sweep first because it will clog if there is too much hair. It does a great job picking up dirt and cleaning high traffic areas. The cleaner is a bit expensive.

Bad customer experience
I bought the cordless wet dry vacuum. Issues with the first time I used it. The self cleaning after using did not work. Water ran out onto the floor. I sent it back to Tineco, after paying $40 to return. They sent it back in the same condition, still not working properly. Because it had been over 30 days, they refused to send a new one. Said they would send me a refurbished one, adding that I would still have to pay to resend it back. I’m furious that I have a new expensive product that does not work properly. Do not buy this vacuum.

Won’t fully charge
I love this machine, but it is only a year and a few months old and it won’t charge past 19%. There are only 2 people in my house, so it isn’t used very much. My research about the problem has discovered many with this problem. A few months ago I would have said that I can’t live without my Tineco. Now I’m researching other options. So disappointing.

Works great for regular cleaning
It picks up a lot of stuff without getting clogged very often, and the luxury vinyl plank floor looks nice after. It’s not as good as a real mop when you really need to scrub, but it’s easier for normal use. Cleaning it isn’t bad once you know what you’re doing. It didn’t do as well on my slick bathroom tile floor.

Don’t waste your $$!! Overpriced, cheap design, you will return it in 6 months, would not recommend
The device will not charge when resting on the stand. I have tried cleaning everything out multiple times and shifted or tried different positions with the stand, but not matter what it will only initially recognize that it is sitting on the charger and actually start charging, then it doesn’t ever charge above 0%. Also, the dirty water tank will often be completely empty but the device will repeatedly say “empty dirty water tank” even though it has already been emptied & rinsed out. It will do this 3-4+ times and I end up just having to set it back on the charger until it resets itself. Then I just end up using a regular mop instead…kind of counterintuitive since this $400+ device was supposed to replace that task. I am so infuriated by this product that I just want to return it and get a refund – I don’t even want a replacement because it is just going to start doing this stuff again. It is such an expensive product and it only really worked for the first few months without issues. Then it just keeps breaking down and seems useless! I don’t know if it is just poorly designed or if it is just really low quality, but this is the most overpriced piece of junk that I wish I had never spent my money on.

Cleaning just go easier
I did about a month of research into all the different mop vacuums and my 2 favorite was the Bissell or the tineco. After watching YouTube videos comparing them I went with the tineco. I’m so glad I did. This mopvac takes cleaning to a whole new level. It’s self propelled so it even goes for you. Cleans so well. If your looking to get one just go ahead and do it. You will be so happy with it. This mopvac has all the bells and whistles. I love it. It’s very easy to clean when your done and you will be amazed and how clean your floors will be. I’m very happy with this tineco model.

It really works!
Since I moved into home with heated concrete floors, I have tried and disappointed by 3 vacuumed, 1 steam cleaner and 2 mops. This product has suction power, vacuums wet/dry, and cleans itself. Too expensive not to work in 6 months
I got this mop thinking it would help having small children and a dog. It stopped working properly after only having it for 6 months. Sent it numerous times to be fixed but it would come back smelling moldy and the roller gross. They said they would pay for it and didn’t. Once I get it back from being “fixed” it would work one time then didn’t work anymore. Not worth the money. It is to expensive for it to be useless in 6 months.

Received defective
The mop continued to tell me that the dirty water tank was full when the mop had never been used. I couldn’t get it to work the first time I tried. Amazon was very helpful. The manufacturer, on the other hand, hung up on me when I was searching for the serial number which they asked for. I said I’d find the serial number, then no one responded again and I noticed they disconnected so they were no help at all so I returned it. Amazon was also helpful with that process.

Great idea, Terrible product
This is the 3rd Tineco i have purchased. 1 for my home, 2nd for my summer place and 3rd to replace the first one that started smoking while on the charger and burned out in front of me. Very scary. Call Tinico and they stated that they couldn’t do anything because their warranty for return is only good for the first 30 days but the machine has a two-year warranty on it. They said they can either give us a refurbished machine or ticket account the depreciation value of the machine which totals up to 250 bucks. You think by spending a lot of money you get a really good quality product and this is actually not a really good quality product is a horrible gimmick to have you spend more money ridiculous.

Works but not worth the money
I was so excited when I ordered this. I thought it was going to make my cleaning easier and faster, which it did and didn’t. Assembly was easy and took minutes. Pros: sweeps and mops at once which is a time saver. Handles after dinner mess with a toddler well. Good run time/battery life. Floor dries fast. Cons: cleaning solution is a bit expensive and doesn’t come in many scents. Does not get all the way to a baseboard so I end up mopping around the baseboards and corners. Cleaning the machine, roller and tank tends to take longer than just sweeping and mopping. Tends to leave streaks on the floor. Since I have it I use it one or twice a week. If it were to break tomorrow I wouldn’t bother replacing it.

Love this product! I used to physically dry mop our whole house twice every time I mopped. This product is so easy, dry mops on the first pass and gets way more dirt than I ever did. Uses less water if I go with the grain of our hardwood floors. Love the gentle self propel, total ease of use. Wish it had a headlight. I always vacuum prior to using and it still vacuums up things I have somehow missed while cleaning. Great invention, so grateful!

Only works well for a short time. Sensors no longer detect clean nor dirty water.
I purchased this product less than a year ago. Works great in the beginning but the sensors stoped working correctly 6 months into using the product. Sometimes they would sense correctly and sometimes they would not. I contacted customer service for product and I was instructed to make sure there were no clogs in the lines, there wasn’t, that is all the help I received. I would not recommend this product its a waste of money.

Was great when it worked
This machine was wonderful … WAS! After about a year of light use, I began having issues with the battery. The battery would last to long enough to clean about 1,100 sq ft, then it began to get less and less. It got to the point that it just quit at about 20% (never did that in the beginning). Will not charge beyond 21% now. Called Tineco, they were great … sent a shipping label to return it. Emailed me informing me it was “not repairable,” but were sending me a factory refurbished one, which would carry the original warranty. Meaning I have a refurbished machine with a 5 month warranty. Don’t get me wrong, I’m thankful they corrected the issue, but for the price I would expect a product that lasted beyond the warranty. They advertise all the advanced technology, but if it don’t work, all that technology means nothing. So sad that this floor mop only lasted 1.5 years.

I though my floors were clean until I used this. Mopping only spreads dirt, this thing vacuums it all up and wow!!!! We use it on hard woods and tile alike and it leaves a beautiful streak free clean every time. The solution smells great and goes a LONG way. The machine is easy to clean. The battery life is enough.

Very well built
I do not write reviews often however I will today. I received my machine a few days ago and have now tried it out for the first time. I have owned many floor mopping machines in the past. This machine was easily put together with no instructions needed (although they do have instructions included). The machine cleaned my hard tile floors very well and left them with a wonderful shine. I was happy to see they do offer their own cleaning solution which no doubt will prolong the life of the machine. I did notice on a few stuck on food spots on the floor it did not clean completely. Overall it did a great job. Lets see how long this machine continues to work. I have 1800 sq. feet of tile and the battery lasted for the entire floor cleaning process. If I do buy another one I will surely get the one with larger water tank. To complete the job I had to refill the water basin and empty the dirty basin 4 times. So easy, no big deal but still would prefer the larger basin. Hope this helps.

GAME CHANGER!
Listen, judge my dirty floors if you want, but stick around for this review. I live on a farm, and one adorable golden retriever loves to run around and play, but the thing is, her cute little paws track in dirt and red clay like none other, hence, the extremely dirty floors. I would mop 3-4 times a week the “traditional” way and it was a CHORE. Vacuum, mop, let dry, rinse, repeat. The thing is, the floors never got “clean”. Cue the entrance of this AMAZING tool. HOLY SMOKES!!!! Not only does this get my floors extremely clean, it took out the stress and cut my cleaning time by more than half. AND when I’m done it just CLEANS ITSELF?!? I choose to still vacuum before using due to farm debris brought in by the golden sunshine so I’m not constantly cleaning out hair and sticks and such out of the dirty water tank. To say I’m obsessed would be an understatement. It’s easy to use, easy to clean, efficient and all around has made my life easier and my home a million times cleaner. I rave about it to all who will listen and I’m convinced that if this mopvac can clean red clay off of concrete floors, it can clean pretty much anything. Can’t recommend enough.

Do not buy this
I bought this less than a year ago. While it does pick up messes, it’s extremely frustrating and constantly having issues. It will stop working and say “dirty water tank full” when it is not full. You can empty it anyway and it will still say “dirty water tank full” until it eventually realizes it is not (usually you have to wait). Such a frustrating user experience.

Several Flaws
I waited until I’d had this thing for a while to test its effectiveness as it got older. I’ve had it about a year and I’ve had nothing but trouble with it, specifically self cleaning. It constantly tells me to clean the dirty water tank when it’s completely clean and dry. It tells me to refill the water tank when it’s full. And it doesn’t clean that great. Waste of money.

Very good product
Been using it since mid December, so far so good. Very important to follow the manufactures instructions ! I read some reviews on You Tube, saying the dirty water tank will smell….stands to reason ! Maintenance is necessary for proper cleaning. This floor cleaner picks up crumbs, hair wet and dry spills ! It sure will smell if you store it with dirty water left inside it. My only minus with the product, it does not go under many pieces of furniture, hoping in the future they may find a way to have it bend further down. I do like it and recommend it. My home is 2300 sq ft and I can clean the floors without have to recharge it. Also does well on flat rugs !!

Bad battery life
I received this cleaner a little over a year ago. It worked great in the beginning, but the battery will no longer hold a charge. For the price paid, it is definitely not worth the money.

Garbage!!
I just purchased this expensive product. I set everything up. I turned it on and completed one swipe over my floor in a space less than 1 square foot. As soon as I did that it immediately said the water tank was dirty and to empty and refill. So I did. Then I did another swipe across the floor and it did it again. This $700 machine is supposed to vacuum and mop my floor to make my life easier. However I can’t even do one tiny spot in my floor without it shutting off and telling me to put in clean water. That makes it a lot harder to use and it’s 100% a useless piece of garbage. It is a lot more work to empty that damn water after swiping it across my floor ONE time. Like it let me use it on a 1 foot square before telling me to change the water. That’s expensive for the solution and it would take me 5 hours to clean my entire house. I can’t return the piece of garbage because I already opened it. DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY!! Do NOT buy this garbage!! I emailed Tineco and if they make this right and fixes the issue I will update my review.

Short Battery Life
When I opened the amazon box, the product box was already opened. The parts were out of their plastic bags, some water in the clean water tank as well as the dirty water tank, brush roller had dirt on it. I was told by the company that it goes through testing before being shipped out. I cleaned it up and used it. It’s not as powerful as I had expected and the battery dies quickly.

Battery is Cheap and not replaceable, Do Not Buy!
Do not buy the product. The battery is cheap and will degrade in less than a year and it is not a battery that could be replaced easily. I would say if one day they make the battery interchangeable this could be a buy, but for now stay away from it unless you can clean your entire house in less than 2 minutes before the battery dies.

Wanted to love it.
I use it often and clean after every use. It is already losing suction and constantly triggering the “dirty water tank is full” that locks the vacuum….even when its not even 1/4 of the way to the max line. Frustrating having to rinse the dirty water tank every 2-5 minutes of cleaning. The marketing is great and I was excited but I have had this for 5 months and its already almost unusable.

Game changer!
Wet-dry vacuum is a game changer! Cleaning has become much easier than it used to.. Still, I have to clean the dirty water tank and the roller after every use or else they will sting so bad. That doesn’t change my opinion about it.
