I had been eyeing this machine for years after seeing it on social media. I couldn’t pull the trigger because it is expensive and the reviews were a bit mixed. When I saw it for sale with a steep discount during Prime day, I finally committed and I am so glad I did. I am a busy mom of 4 who just doesn’t have time to mop everyday (or week unfortunately). We have tile in the kitchen and hardwood floors where we eat. The kitchen tiles were NEVER clean. I sometimes steamed them twice in a row and then used a regular mop and the floors still didn’t pass the “paper towel” test. Enter Tineco. As soon as I charged it for the first time I did my tiled floors. I did 2 rounds just because I wanted to give the machine a fair shot on floors that never seemed to get clean. Oh my gosh, for the first time EVER there was no residue on a paper towel when I wiped the floor. None whatsoever. I’ve seen complaints about the battery but I have a 3600 sq ft house. I bought the combo (more in that later) which I think has a shorter battery life than the regular Tineco — I can still do my whole first floor before the battery even gets to 30%. I did my entire kitchen, eat in area, living room, dining room, and the first floor bathroom tonight and it was at 40%. I did have to clean the dirty water tank once and add fresh water but I don’t mind. I bought the combo — I wish I would have bought just the regular one. I have yet to use the hand vac and I honestly don’t think I ever will. I can just use our regular vacuum if I need to get into tight crevices. That is my only regret with this machine. Cleaning is a breeze. I had an issue the first time running the self clean — it kept telling me to clean the dirty water tank even though it was clean. I ended up just manually starting the self clean function and it worked like a charm. This machine saves me so much time and now my floors are clean. It takes not even 5 minutes to clean the machine when I’m done (wash the dirty water tank, the roller, wipe down the machine, etc) and that’s because I really want to take care of the machine. You probably don’t need to be as diligent as I am. I did notice it leaves slight streaking on my darker hardwood floors (nothing on my light hardwood). It is minimal and doesnt bother me whatsoever. All in all, I love this machine and so far I don’t regret this purchase whatsoever. I hope this review helps someone who may be contemplating!
I bought the machine three months ago. It is not working correctly. You have to put it on the charger to start the machine. I called the company they had me ship the machine back for repair receive the machine back with the same issue now they want to send me a refurbished machine! After spending almost $500 on a new machine, I have to except a refurbished machine. And they threaten you if you put a negative review.

Love this more than my children
I love this thing so much. My husband got it for me for Christmas and we have used it almost every single day since. It’s SO good. Picks up so much, makes cleaning so convenient, smart tracking and self cleaning. The only thing I had to get used to is you do have to empty the dirty water tank and refill the clean water tank frequently but I’ll keep doing it because it keeps itself super clean. I’ll do anything for this thing I’m obsessed with it. My kids even use it too!

After 7 months it’s broken
I loved this product at first, but after 7 months the water filter broke and no longer detected a full water tank. It has been lightly used and no major ware it still looks brand new but It’s all plastic pieces so bound to break. Customer service was absolutely trash they had no solution and did not offer a replacement or even refurbished one, so a $500 dollar product is useless now.

Well it’s not easy to figure out and the so called manual is very limited and doesn’t give you a lot of help. Then if you try to call customer support your placed on hold with the automated system and after ten minutes they disconnect you and tell you to call back another time. I have no idea how to perform a “self clean” and it will not connect to the WiFi. It was connected, but lost connectivity and now won’t connect again. The app is no help if it doesn’t connect. Not really worth the price if you ask me

I thought about purchasing this mop/vac combo for many months, so happy I finally did. I have purchased many mops including the crosswave, and none have worked as great as this. Good mop not great
I like that it vacuums and mops at the same time so only need 1 pass on floors. I do vac first if the floors have a lot of debris. We have tile and it does a fairly good job at cleaning. I have to go over the same spot a couple of times to fully saturate/clean. I have to clean the waste water at least once while do the floors which is slightly annoying to have to pause for cleaning. Overall I like the product.

This machine is definitely a life saver. I wish I would have bought this a long time ago. My young kids leave some much crap all over the floor, its nice to pick it all up and mop at one time. The s5 DOES get the edges, you have to of course have the edge on the right side of the mop. When you have it on powerful suction , yes the dirty water tank will get full fast or the clean water tank will empty faster but it is still more convenient than pushing around a mop and bucket. A mop and bucket is throwing around dirty water whereas this vacuum mop separates the two. I see previous reviews complaining about cleaning out the tank or mold etc etc, YES!!, you have to clean the tank. This machine is not a robot and will not walk itself to dump itself .It will clean the roller and thats it. In my opinion, it is still less labor pushing this mop around and cleaning the water tank than a mop and bucket or even a swiffer. I’ve noticed my labor time cut by more than half and I’m not sweaty and hot after mopping and having to decompress. I of course bought the protection plan , in case it craps out. If you cleaning this vacuum mop is too much for you, a maid would be a better option. 🙂

There are a few things I did not like about this product. The first one being how small the clean water tank is. The second one being how often you have to change the dirty water tank otherwise, the whole thing stinks. Thirdly, that you have to use their cleaner which I don’t particularly like. I can get over those things though because it did work quite well. However, it just gave up the ghost today and I have not been rough with it. Very disappointed, especially because of much it cost. 🙁

I was very hopeful for this amazing product. Turns out it has a terrible smell, even with cleaning it thoroughly after each use it can’t get clean enough and is left with a foul odor. I wish I can rerun this product, it costed so much money but it’s too late for me. I would not recommend.

The media could not be loaded. The Tineco mop/vacuum is a game-changer! Its efficient cleaning capabilities make household chores a breeze. The sleek design and user-friendly features enhance the overall experience. It sucks up literally anything and everything. One of my favorite things is my kid won’t slip and fall. It sucks up the water to nearly dry. Highly recommended especially if you have kids or pets!

i LOVE that i can mop and vacuum at the same time. the one thing id like to emphasise- im from Australia, and needed a converter socket. i (totally my fault) don’t think of that when i made the purchase, so take that into account, but, i still say it was a brilliant purchase. i love the vacuum. it’s easy to use. reminds you to empty it, and to clean it, (i love that feature) which i do if im told to do, but, will procrastinate away if im not. it doesn’t matter that a machine is telling me what to do, weirdly, i do it anyway, but forget all the time on my regular vacuum. it’s a great vacuum.

Will not replace a steam mop or stick vacuum
I had high hopes for this and it performs pretty decent but it’s more of a quick clean but not a tool to do a full or deep clean. I would actually give it 3.5 stars mainly because it has several draw backs for the price. UNDER FURNITURE – My biggest complaint is it can’t reach under low furniture or furniture that has a low opening at the bottom that my Dyson stick, Bissell steam mop or a Swifter can easily get to. Under furniture is the area where dust, hair, and dirt tend to collect the most and it’s not getting it. STAIRS – my stairs are the next dirtiest area and this machine is too bulky to do the stairs. I wish the HANDHELD used water but it’s no different than using the handheld on my Dyson. If the handheld used the water tank I would definitely use this more to clean furniture and my stairs. FEELING OF CLEAN VS STEAM MOP – It leaves the areas it mops feeling clean, but not the same as my steam mop that people have commented that my floors look clean enough to eat off of because my steam mop leaves them looking brand new. FLOORING TYPES – I have mostly LVP, engineered wood, and tile in the bathrooms. I have real wood stairs as well as large area rugs in all rooms except the bathrooms and kitchen. I feel the area rugs are the only floor type that the Tineco outperforms the other cleaning tools with the exception of its inability to reach under furniture. PRIMARILY ADULTS AND PET FREE – My house is primarily occupied by adults with nieces and nephews 12+ years old staying in the house on occasion and a well trained 50 lb dog nephew who also stays over. I could see this being a more utilized cleaning tool for households with young children all the time or multiple pets that would need to clean in between vacuuming and steam moping, but for me this is really only is useful when I need a quick but not full clean because something is better than nothing. It did a good job of PICKING UP DIRT that got on the rug from the DOG that didn’t come up with the vacuum. I had been wearing a pair of sweatpants that were pilling and little balls of the fabric were on my floors. I found that this would pick it up at first, but then find where it had spit it out, wet and smashed on the floors. I did go over it a second time and most of the time it did pick it up. SELF CLEANING – not quite, yes it self cleans but there is still some dirt/hair that remains that you have to clean out. The same happens with my vacuum when emptying the canister but my vacuum doesn’t claim to be self cleaning. You also have to rinse the FILTER thoroughly after each use adding time to the cleaning process. WIFI SAFETY – After purchasing this, I saw a nationally known cyber security expert speaking on tv who said that Tineco would have the ability to hack your wifi if they wanted. I never hooked mine up to Wi-Fi to begin with so this is not a concern of mine. I’m not quite sure what advantage there is to hooking up a vacuum to Wi-Fi. I’m not somebody who worries a lot about cyber security, but I am a little cautious and probably will not hook it up to wifi mainly because we don’t need another device sucking up the wifi bandwidth. OVERALL THOUGHTS – probably more useful for homes with small children, multiple pets, and a lot of traffic. This tool does not replace all other tools in my arsenal.

Best mop ever
This product is expensive but works amazingly. This keeps my floors clean which is a task with 4 dogs. They bring the outside in constantly and use my floor as toilet paper. This actually cleans my floor instead of pushing dirty water around. I love that the floors dry quickly after mopping otherwise the kids, dogs and my husband walk through my freshly cleaned but still wet areas.

Love this. Wish that I had bought it sooner than the miriad of cheaper ones that don’t work at all. I’ve bought at least 6 different types of floor cleaners manual, steam or electric that don’t come close to this. This actually cleans your floor, is cordless and easy to use. I am excited and grossed out by how dirty the water is when I use it! One charge will clean my whole house that is just under 3000 sq. Ft of polished concrete. Also picks up debris left behind by my brand new Dyson which is impressive. Had it over a year now

Best household investment you can make for cleaning
I LOVE this product. I wish it had been around 10 years ago when I had babies dropping everything off their high chairs on the floor. I have a ton of laminate vinyl plank flooring and ceramic tile. This device saves me so much time vacuuming and moping all in one. I use vinegar and water because the cleaning solution leaves streaks on my wood. It’s fine in the tile areas, but just easier and obviously no chemicals with vinegar. The charge could last longer, but again, this is a life changer. I mop at least weekly and sometimes more. Having 2 kids, 2 adults, 2 dogs, 1 cat and a lot of friends running around it makes floor clean up a breeze.

Only used twice but not impressed with battery life so far
Maybe it’s just the unit I received but both times I’ve used it the battery life doesn’t seem to last long. Doesn’t make me feel like it’ll last for years. My house isn’t huge and by the end of cleaning the floors and going through the self clean process, the battery life is at 50% already. This is literally after 15-20 minutes of use and it’s fully charged when I start. Other than the battery life, it seems like it works really well.

I freaking love this Mop, I call it my Vop because it’s a vacuum mop. It works super well and the self cleaning function works amazing. My only wish is that the dirt red-blue indicator works better. very lightweight wet/dry vacuum
Love this 2-1 wet and dry floor vacuum. It cleans really well. We do not wear shoes in my house. Before, people would say you can eat off my clean floor. After using this vacuum, I was amazed on how much dirt was still on my floors. I still can’t believe they were that dirty. The vacuum cleans the roller after I wash the floors. Then I switch to the other roller letting the other dry. It picks up even dust from the corners.

The media could not be loaded. The water in the video came off my kitchen and dinning room floor. Sheesh this thing works so well and is easy to use! Super light, zero push resistance, and quieter than I anticipated. Really, it’s quieter than my normal vacuum. Also, the cleaning solution has a nice mild scent. I’m pregnant and the scent doesn’t even bother me. Huge plus. Two things to note: First, the self-cleaning feature is only to clean the roller brush. You’ll still need to rinse out the dirty water tank, solution tank, and wipe down some parts. Although all those parts are accessible while sitting in the cleaning/charging dock. Second, if you’re cleaning a large house, expect to empty the dirty water tank and refill the cleaning water solution a few times. All in all, 100% better than using a mop and bucket. I’m throwing that away immediately.

Best invention ever
I have nothing to compare it to but i have a dog and a toddler. When my son started crawling, i would sweep and mop the floors every morning. Used to take me about 30 minutes a day. This takes me 7-10 minutes and keeps the fur off the floors better. It is self propelled and really easy to use. Self cleaning option is great! I haven’t used the app or WiFi yet but I’m very pleased with my purchase. There are some glitches, like sometimes it says the dirty water canister is full right after you empty it. And it told me that the water reservoir was empty when it was full I usually just had the docket for a while and turn it back on to get it to work again. That can be quite frustrating but still worth the purchase

Too much time cleaning
This is just a waste of money and time. It’s good for supper small spaces or spills but I didn’t paid this amount of money for just that. My expectations were to be able to clean my house quickly. You have to go over and over and slowly moving on every section for it to clean righ, battery runs out so fast and you have to be constantly cleaning and changing the tank

Battery life SUCKS
The media could not be loaded. Watch how the charge goes from 100 to 0 in less than 2min!! I have owned an One S5 for a year and 2months. It’s been good & recommended however in the past week it will no longer keep a charge. It’s probably charged overnight & it now lasts less than 5mins before saying to charge it & it dies. Extremely frustrating & disappointing. I have messaged the manufacturer because this should not happen. Prior a charge would hold for about 25-30 min and I was fine with that. It’s properly stored & cleaned.

Life changing, when it works properly
I bought this in August 2023. It truly is amazing, when it works properly. Honestly life changing. However, the battery life is very short and no matter how much I empty and clean the dirty water tank, it constantly says “dirty water tank full”. It’s so frustrating.

Worked great until motor died within a year
For a $500 mop vacuum I was influenced by social media to buy this. With two larger dogs (sometimes 4 large dogs when family drops theirs off) living in the Midwest were it is always wet or snowy somewhere in the yard and a crawling baby, to not have the baby covered in dirt, I tried swiffers, Bona, and the ocedar spin mops. The swiffer and bona didn’t pick up all the dirt even if used daily. The spin mop worked well but took a long time. So I saw this vacuum and thought maybe. Well it worked great for a year. I used it 1-2 times a week with stick vacuum and a wet pad swiffer/bona more often. Why not more often with the mop vacuum, well I followed the rules and cleaned it both auto clean and manually removed the brush and cleaned all the pieces by hand each time too. But after a year it died. It showed battery still at 99% but the motor would turn off within 1-2 minutes. Downloaded the app and it said it wasn’t experiencing any issues. So I called customer service. They were friendly and right away said it was the motor after listening to the problem. They said they will mail a prepaid label to ship it back (I kept the box, part of the Midwest life is a basement so I tend to keep boxes until the warranty is up). I will update this review and increase the rating if the issue gets resolved and I have a working mop vacuum again.

Garbage loophole in warranty
Don’t waste your money on this product. I bought this less then two years ago and for the most part the mop was great. About a month ago it stared to say the clean water tank was empty when it was full and wouldn’t put out water but this was off and on. Then it started to happen more consistently to the point where I couldn’t use it at all. We cleaned the mesh filter per their troubleshooting and cleaned the water spray area as well. (Please keep in mind I’ve cleaned it after every use). We were trying to see if the channel where the water goes through was clogged so my husband unscrewed the back and we found the cracked machine. I called and Tineco told me to send pictures and I get a response that because we “disassembled” the machine it is no longer under warranty. That is absolute complete garbage and a terrible tactic to get people to have to buy another machine instead of fixing what should be under warranty when THEIR machine was faulty and cracked. Don’t spend the money on this because you’ll have to buy another machine in less than 2 years anyway.

Cleans well, but small clean and dirty water tanks
This vacmop works very well to clean my floors and when in use, it’s super easy. The hassle is that the clean and dirty water tanks are small and need to be changed multiple times for my small house. I use it to clean my downstairs kitchen and living space which is only about 1000 sq ft. I have to change the dirty and clean water tanks at least twice and then again for the self cleaning. For some reason, the dirty tank water always leaks on my newly clean floor as I’m bringing it to empty. I empty it in the toilet and then rinse in my sink, but by the third time, it’s clogged my drain. Larger tanks would make this thing a dream machine.

Works Great, Until It Doesn’t – Mine Lasted 6 Months
Total waste of money for 6 months of use. It’s smarter than I am, can’t get it off the “Clean Dirty Water Tank” error. I’ve read all the troubleshooting manuals and watched all the YouTube Videos – still won’t work. Fantastic maneuverability – gets up to the edge. Easy to use. Doesn’t work well on floors that are not perfectly flat. But the biggest issue is this error just won’t go away. I’ve been fighting it for months now and it finally won – I can’t get it to go away anymore. I don’t recommend purchasing any Tineco products, sounds like they all have the same issue.
