I had been eyeing this machine for years after seeing it on social media. I couldn’t pull the trigger because it is expensive and the reviews were a bit mixed. When I saw it for sale with a steep discount during Prime day, I finally committed and I am so glad I did. I am a busy mom of 4 who just doesn’t have time to mop everyday (or week unfortunately). We have tile in the kitchen and hardwood floors where we eat. The kitchen tiles were NEVER clean. I sometimes steamed them twice in a row and then used a regular mop and the floors still didn’t pass the “paper towel” test. Enter Tineco. As soon as I charged it for the first time I did my tiled floors. I did 2 rounds just because I wanted to give the machine a fair shot on floors that never seemed to get clean. Oh my gosh, for the first time EVER there was no residue on a paper towel when I wiped the floor. None whatsoever. I’ve seen complaints about the battery but I have a 3600 sq ft house. I bought the combo (more in that later) which I think has a shorter battery life than the regular Tineco — I can still do my whole first floor before the battery even gets to 30%. I did my entire kitchen, eat in area, living room, dining room, and the first floor bathroom tonight and it was at 40%. I did have to clean the dirty water tank once and add fresh water but I don’t mind. I bought the combo — I wish I would have bought just the regular one. I have yet to use the hand vac and I honestly don’t think I ever will. I can just use our regular vacuum if I need to get into tight crevices. That is my only regret with this machine. Cleaning is a breeze. I had an issue the first time running the self clean — it kept telling me to clean the dirty water tank even though it was clean. I ended up just manually starting the self clean function and it worked like a charm. This machine saves me so much time and now my floors are clean. It takes not even 5 minutes to clean the machine when I’m done (wash the dirty water tank, the roller, wipe down the machine, etc) and that’s because I really want to take care of the machine. You probably don’t need to be as diligent as I am. I did notice it leaves slight streaking on my darker hardwood floors (nothing on my light hardwood). It is minimal and doesnt bother me whatsoever. All in all, I love this machine and so far I don’t regret this purchase whatsoever. I hope this review helps someone who may be contemplating!
I bought the machine three months ago. It is not working correctly. You have to put it on the charger to start the machine. I called the company they had me ship the machine back for repair receive the machine back with the same issue now they want to send me a refurbished machine! After spending almost $500 on a new machine, I have to except a refurbished machine. And they threaten you if you put a negative review.

The battery dies after 5 minutes of using it but it takes about 3 hours to charge it. I don’t recommend it due to the lack of longevity. We bought this 6/23 and used it maybe 1-2 times a month. It started to not hold a charge around 8/24. That is not a very long time for the battery to be defective.

Amazing vacuum with high quality mopping
This vacuum is a lifesaver. Every time my kids spill drinks on the floor – not a problem anymore. It cleans floors really well, I don’t need to mop at all. We have a robot vacuum that cleans everyday but the quality of mopping is uncompetitive. I wish I had this vacuum when my kids were babies/toddlers.

Does a good mop job. But. It’s yelling at me – yes, it actually talks – to empty the large dirty water tank every time it gets 1/4 full (the full line is way up at the 3/4 point). And of course, as soon as I dump and get started again, the teeny tiny clean water tank runs dry. And then we start the cycle over. So there’s an LOT of stopping and starting, which is exhausting. The self cleaning cycle works great, but again, it gets stopped at least once because it thinks the dirty water tank is full. If it wasn’t for all the automation, I’d like this thing a lot better. If I had it to do over, I think I’d buy the step up which is a wet dry vac. But this is pretty good.

The media could not be loaded. This thing is utter trash. All it does is smear the dirt everywhere and leave puddles. When the water dries there are white streaks everywhere. A wet jet is 100% better than this pile of junk. Also, the self cleaning mode floods the base and water spills out everywhere. It also leave a ton of dirty water in the base and the brush just sits in it. So you have to unplug the base and go dump it after self cleaning which spills more water everywhere. I hate this thing.

I love this!!! I am selling my house and it takes forever to broom/vacuum and mop the entire house. I’ve had this machine for 2 years and while it’s great for a quick floor clean the battery life has depleted significantly! When I first got this I could do my entire house with 20-30% remaining. Now I can’t even get through my house without having to stop 1/2-3/4 of the way to charge it. The battery no longer fully charges, and the dirty water tank constantly says it’s full after just a minute or 2 with barely anything in the tank. It’s really unfortunate because I absolutely LOVED this machine when I first got it. Not sure if I’ll buy another one or if I will get another brand.

Oh my gosh. Literally the only negative thing I can say is that you really need to flush the dirty tank a few times after use. We have 3 large dogs and a kid. Our house is ALWAYS dirty with hardwood floors. This thing is so quick and easy to use that my husband mopped 3x in 1 week. It dries the floor in literal seconds. It uses more water on dirtier spots. Honestly, just buy it. I’d bet money that all the reviews complaining about the lasting smell aren’t flushing the dirty tank enough. I have to flood it with the bathtub faucet at least 3x after use to ensure I got everything out.

Okay, so first impressions. I LOVE this thing. As a mom with two kids and two dogs and a full time job I could not find time to mop regularly. As much as I want to everyday, it just wasn’t plausible. I did however sweep before hand just to minimize any chance of clogs. And the after use cleaning was very easy and straightforward. Definitely make sure to read everything in the manual before the first use. I will come to update this after a couple uses! As of right now I’m one happy momma!

was great until it wasn’t. have this for almost 5 months, now when i turn it on for use it just spews out dirty water even when the dirty water tank is empty and there is barely any suction. the self clean also starts and then stops and the basin is full of water. too much money to break down this quickly especially when you put time in to clean the tanks after each use

IFloor 5 doesn’t clean as well as I thought it would
Don’t waste your money on this product (iFloor 5) if you have animals or larger areas/house to clean. The vacuum feature worked ok and picked up quite a bit of dog hair; however the ECO mode to wash the tile and hardwood floors was sporadic at best. It left streaks of water/solution on the floors so it didn’t look or feel like it was truly washing the floors. I put it on MAX to wash some of my hardwoods and it worked better; however, after 15 minutes or so the battery died. Plus it leaves about an inch or more of a gap off of your baseboards that it doesn’t clean. I’ll keep it to wash bedroom floors but stick to my basic mop for bathrooms, kitchen and living room areas (more high traffic).

The media could not be loaded. This is by far the best mop that is electric I have owned. Charging time is not as fast as I would like, but the battery does last a long time. I would definitely recommend this to someone that is looking to spot clean quickly. I like it better than the swiffer. It does take a while to do the whole floor, but the floor is clean once completed.

Not worth it.
I meant to write a review of this when I bout it 1.5 years ago. This thing is terrible. It just runs a small amount of water on the floor to act like it’s cleaning. In reality, it doesn’t clean any spots (even on max mode) and just pushes debris across the floor without even sucking it up. The battery life is trash. Says it needs to run self cleaning mode after maybe 2 minutes when the floor wasn’t even pretty dirty. Mind you, I have no kids. The floor doesn’t get very dirty. Would not recommend – especially for the price. Thought it would make my life easier, but it actually is more work. Do not buy.
