I had been eyeing this machine for years after seeing it on social media. I couldn’t pull the trigger because it is expensive and the reviews were a bit mixed. When I saw it for sale with a steep discount during Prime day, I finally committed and I am so glad I did. I am a busy mom of 4 who just doesn’t have time to mop everyday (or week unfortunately). We have tile in the kitchen and hardwood floors where we eat. The kitchen tiles were NEVER clean. I sometimes steamed them twice in a row and then used a regular mop and the floors still didn’t pass the “paper towel” test. Enter Tineco. As soon as I charged it for the first time I did my tiled floors. I did 2 rounds just because I wanted to give the machine a fair shot on floors that never seemed to get clean. Oh my gosh, for the first time EVER there was no residue on a paper towel when I wiped the floor. None whatsoever. I’ve seen complaints about the battery but I have a 3600 sq ft house. I bought the combo (more in that later) which I think has a shorter battery life than the regular Tineco — I can still do my whole first floor before the battery even gets to 30%. I did my entire kitchen, eat in area, living room, dining room, and the first floor bathroom tonight and it was at 40%. I did have to clean the dirty water tank once and add fresh water but I don’t mind. I bought the combo — I wish I would have bought just the regular one. I have yet to use the hand vac and I honestly don’t think I ever will. I can just use our regular vacuum if I need to get into tight crevices. That is my only regret with this machine. Cleaning is a breeze. I had an issue the first time running the self clean — it kept telling me to clean the dirty water tank even though it was clean. I ended up just manually starting the self clean function and it worked like a charm. This machine saves me so much time and now my floors are clean. It takes not even 5 minutes to clean the machine when I’m done (wash the dirty water tank, the roller, wipe down the machine, etc) and that’s because I really want to take care of the machine. You probably don’t need to be as diligent as I am. I did notice it leaves slight streaking on my darker hardwood floors (nothing on my light hardwood). It is minimal and doesnt bother me whatsoever. All in all, I love this machine and so far I don’t regret this purchase whatsoever. I hope this review helps someone who may be contemplating!
I bought the machine three months ago. It is not working correctly. You have to put it on the charger to start the machine. I called the company they had me ship the machine back for repair receive the machine back with the same issue now they want to send me a refurbished machine! After spending almost $500 on a new machine, I have to except a refurbished machine. And they threaten you if you put a negative review.

Won’t charge
I bought the iFloor 5 Breeze back in July of 2024 and have maybe used it 5-6 times and have noticed it won’t charge. I’ve tried the functions that are listed in the manual and it’s still not charging. For this price point I don’t know that I’d recommend this product. When it works it works great, but now I have to mop in 5 minute increments before having to stop and charge it again.

Good for daily maintenance
It’s good for maintenance cleaning. If you keep your floors pretty clean and just need to keep it up, this is perfect. It will not clean very dirty floors that have grime and filth stuck on. If your floors is extremely dirty, use a normal mop and some elbow grease to clean and then use this to keep it clean!

Warranty is Horrible and they always break!
Buyer Beware – there is NO value in the Tineco warranty. I spent $500 on this vacuum and it broke in multiple ways (charger, cleaning tank) and the two year warranty does not cover replacement! It has a devaluation and offered only 50%! If you pay for Assurion extended warranty (which I did for the cordless vacuum that broke as well) they paid the full purchase price. Since two vacuums have both broke, it’s not worth the investment!

DON’T BUY THIS !!!! I purchased this on an Amazon sale day and still spent a lot of money. It worked for a total of 6 or 7 minutes and won’t hold a charge. After working with the company’s troubleshooting it still won’t work. Again, i contacted the company to send it back and all the woman would say was keep trying. When asked about repairing it she wouldn’t give me an answer on the cost or if the warranty would cover any of it. I didn’t want a refund, Iwanted to return it . Needless to say, it is now on it’s way to the landfill.

I was easily influenced into buying* this product bc it’s a Vaccum and a mop that “self cleans” but actually not true. Yeah it cleans itself but you still have to empty out the water tank ALL THE TIME bc it fills up quick. And you have to clean the dirty water tank often or else it will smell then you have to clean the opening where the water goes in, the mop head, and more. The solution costs money. The worst part?? The battery life is horrible. Constantly have to recharge in the middle of cleaning AND it crapped out after 1 year. The warranty barely covers anything – I was on hold for 40min just for them to send me a label…. No box to send it back in. This thing is huge. Buying a box just to send it to them is a hassle and costly for an already costly item. SAVE UR MONEY use a micro fiber mop or a steam mop instead. This is not worth the money and is just all hype. I am extremely disappointed.

Annoying!
Cleans pretty well. Lightweight, not too noisy. Love the dual mop/vacuum function, easy to put on the base, easy to grab and go. But! Small reservoir for clean and dirty water. On top of that, it ALWAYS makes me empty the dirty water tank way before it’s full. It gets dirty so easy that it messes with the sensors, and it won’t function until you “empty” it, then lasts 2 minutes before saying it’s full again even though there’s less than an inch of dirty water.

This vacuum is incredibly efficient and powerful. It works on all types of flooring, including hardwood, tiles, and carpets (although I haven’t tried this yet) The suction is impressive, and I love that it’s lightweight, making it easy to maneuver around the house. One of the standout features for me is the 2-in-1 functionality. The vacuum not only cleans but also mops, which saves me so much time. The water tank is easy to fill. My only issue is the fact you cannot open the dirty water tank. I have hair and debris in there that I cannot get out because there is no way to open it up, only a spout to drain it. This I feel is a flaw in the construction and I would hope they fix this. Other than the dirty water tank, I highly recommend the Tineco floor vacuum and cleaner to anyone looking for an effective and versatile cleaning solution. It has made cleaning my floors a breeze.

Please beware of this product and company. This is my THIRD Tineco that just magically stopped working after the warrenty was up. They make you return it to “repair” and can never EVER fix it. (1st Tineco I bought did the same thing. They sent me. “Rebuilt vacuum” stopped working, so I bought this as my third and final one thinking it was safe and new and great). Again- it just stopped charging, had to send it back- they will do NOTHING to help me (and also can’t tell me why it’s broken????). This company is a SCAM and their product is awful.

I encourage potential buyers to read the other one star reviewers’s comments. They are all spot on. This machine works great, until it doesn’t. It will tell you to constantly clean ‘dirty water tank’ when it’s already clean. It will tell you to run self cleaning cycle over and over. It will say it’s 100% charged and then the battery will die 10 minutes later. It will stop charging altogether. I feel duped by this machine. The wifi connectivity and all the ‘talking’ is annoying and fussy. It’s definitely a lot of fuss for a machine that is so unreliable. Outside of these comments, if you search forums online, you will see that countless others have had the same issues with this machine. Avoid!

I can’t seem to clean & remove the hair & dirt trapped inside. See pics 1 & 2. The filter is very small & hardly catches any dirt before it goes inside It’s light enough, easy to use, it got compliments from my friends & family that it looks “cool”. Good suction power. Works well on ceramic tile.

Very Inconvenient
I bought the Floor One S5 Combo. To begin with.. Instructions manual not great at all. Dirty water container is in the front while clean water container is at the back. Both these containers are so small that a decent living room size, I had to refill the clean water container so so so many times which means each time I’m also using Tineco liquid (as mentioned not to use any other liquid but tineco only). Bottle is already more than half used in first use… Not to mention the Dirt water container max level is so so so small every 6-7 mins it asked to empty dirt water container… and let’s not even talk about roller or self cleaning – with the indication pop up, I had to put it for self cleaning so so so so many times!!! Battery life is another big issue..!! Another important issue is the sound of vacuum is so loud that you can’t hear the instructions in between ur vacuuming e.g it’s asking to empty dirty water or requesting for self cleaning… Wrap it up..!! If all my time is used for refilling clean water, empty dirty water and self cleaning in between cleaning – I might as well pick a Ocedar bucket mop as it’s much more convenient and faster and maybe much Cleaner…

I wish I bought this sooner
The media could not be loaded. I finally bought a tineco and am so sad I didn’t purchase it sooner!! We have 2 pre-teen kids, three dogs and two birds. There’s dog hair, bird feathers and dander , kids mess and dirt and it’s so hard to keep up. Our whole downstairs is tile and mopping it multiple times a week was exhausting. The Tineco makes cleaning a breeze. It vacuums up all the little crumbs and hair and dust and mops at the same time. I don’t use it for big gross spills because I don’t want to ruin my favorite cleaning machine but as so many other videos show it can definitely handle big messes. I use it for day to day cleaning and when it’s done doing the self cleaning cycle I always empty the dirty water tank and clean it out and take off the roller head and let all the parts dry separately. It’s a super quick process and my machine does not smell so far.

We have hardwood floors and stone entryway. This is perfect for keeping up with dog tracks spills and general maintenance! We love it – easy to use once you are used to it. Suction is great and doesn’t leave water on the floor.

We used the product for about half year and it stopped charging. The customer service sent us another charging base, but the charging problem started again soon after. We use this vacuum about once a week, I don’t think that’s too frequent, yet the product is already not reliable in less than one year.

One year and struggling
We’ve had the tineco for just over a year now, and it seems to be failing. We have faithfully used the self cleaning function after every mop, and the thing stinks. We know we have a lot of dog hair and pine needles so we vacuum before using the mop to help it along. Definitely not worth it.

Stopped Charging after only 2 years
The vacuum worked well. We don’t use it very often – perhaps about once a week or every 2 weeks. A month ago, it stopped charging beyond 15%. We did a google search to try to troubleshoot it. We got it to charge after repeatedly lifting the vacuum off the base and put it back. However, it won’t hold the charge. It went from around 80% down to 0% in a matter of seconds. Contacted customer service, after a lengthy chat – it took them a while to respond to each chat, was told it was out of warranty and there’s nothing they could do, other than offering 10% discount on a new undiscounted model. I paid over $300 for the vacuum that lasted 2 years

This has been life changing for me. My floor has never been so clean since having kids. I had a swiffer, broom, vacuum, and steamer for my floors that I would use regularly, but this you can feel how much cleaner it is just from using it once. Worth cleaning after every use. It’s not hard. If you’re worried about the battery-life, it is able to clean my entire main floor in my home. All of it LVP. I use this multiple times a day.

The media could not be loaded. I have two small children, they throw food on the floor at ever meal, this cleans it up so easily! Cleans up the mud the dogs bring in as well. If you have really stuck on food or dirt, you do need to scrub it loose first but if using this daily, you shouldn’t have that. It’s easy to move around, I wish the size of the water tank was a bit bigger, but other than that it’s great! Very easy to clean, takes less than 5 minutes.

Buyer beware
I would give a zero if I could. After spending originally $600+ on this device it quite working after only one year. I sent it in under warranty and was told it would be fixed in 3-5 days. A month later I called looking for it. They then told me that it was not repairable so they junked it and would give me $100 refund. Are you kidding me??? They first didn’t contact me with an update, I had to contact them. Then they chuck it in the trash instead of sending it back to me and offer me $100 for my trouble. Extremely unprofessional. Don’t trust the machine, the company, the warranty etc. Never again.

Labor saving device!
Received quickly and easy to put together. It is light weight for those of us who are older and have back problems. It is very easy to use and cleans very well. Turns itself off when the handle is returned to the upright position. Only question I have is whether you need to always use the cleaner than comes with it or if you could substitute vinegar which would be cheaper.

I don’t usually leave reviews but I just had to on this one. I have a big pup and kiddos and this has been amazing for clean up. It’s all washable too! No need for replacement filters. Just pour out the junk and let it dry. I can’t recommend this enough.

Tineco S5 broken two times within 2 years
My s5 broken two times within 2 years and it’s really hard to contact the customer support. They seldom to reply emails. It asked my to clean the dirty water tank with empty dirty water tank. It also couldn’t detect the charging base sometimes ( it happened almost two times per time) Third, it asked me to attach brush roller correctly with no reason. ( it happened sometime during the middle of cleaning) Lots of problems on this product. Stay away from this company

Dirty Water Tank Error
I’ve had my machine for a month. After upgrading from the 3. My machine is constantly telling me my dirty water tank is full. Even when it is completely empty, even when I have taken every part of the tank apart and washed and dried it. Every hack to fix this you can find online I have tried, doesn’t matter. I spend more time messing with this issue than if I just swept and mopped my house. On the days it has worked and I’ve gone behind with my lit vacuum there’s tons of debris missed by my Tineco. I bought this to save me time as I have an extremely busy life. I don’t have time to mess with customer service and all their “troubleshooting” ideas. I am just out of my return window and now have a $500 machine that works 25% of the time. Would not recommend.

DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!
DO NOT BUY!! If i can give it 0 stars I would do it. I purchased a Tineco s5, which is a horrible machine that ended up breaking down in less than a year after purchase. I sent it for repair under warranty. It took 1 month the whole process , after it was repaired it was somewhat fixed, but came back with multiple dents , less than 1 month of being used I started having problems again ! Decided to keep it because of the hassle involved, plus I didn’t want to take a chance of getting it back even worse. The unit failed to operate more frequently, I sent it again for repair. I fought with tineco for the poor fix they made before and Tineco offered to extend the warranty due to the poor initial repair. Unfortunately, they informed me ( after almost 4 weeks ) it could no longer get fixed, and my only option was to take 10% off a new one. Discount that only applies for full retail price options. They don’t honor their end of their warranty like they state on their site. I called them to ask them to send back my vacuum , and I didn’t want to accept the ridiculous 10 % offer . They informed me they had already thrown away the broken one without my permission to do so( because they couldn’t fix it) . Property that doesn’t belong to them. Talking to their customer care team, even escalating to supervisors, won’t help with any issues, it’s a waste of time for nothing . I recommend considering other brands that stand by their products ,warranties, and do right by their customers . I feel robbed by tineco and left with no machine. Never again.

Disclaimer: I live out in the middle of nowhere where. A new build (lots of mud and straw outside). We have 2 doodles, a chihuahua, and a toddler. So my house is FULL of yuck. When we first got it I did notice the streaks that most people mention. If you use it like a lawn mower and NOT go back and forth like a vacuum it is better. I do not like using it on our black tile. It makes the grout extra dirty. (No one wants to clean the grout because of mopping.) Most of the time I do vacuum the straw and large debris before using the tineco. However, even when I don’t it has no problem sucking it up. I have used it for over a month and still love the ease of it.
