I had been eyeing this machine for years after seeing it on social media. I couldn’t pull the trigger because it is expensive and the reviews were a bit mixed. When I saw it for sale with a steep discount during Prime day, I finally committed and I am so glad I did. I am a busy mom of 4 who just doesn’t have time to mop everyday (or week unfortunately). We have tile in the kitchen and hardwood floors where we eat. The kitchen tiles were NEVER clean. I sometimes steamed them twice in a row and then used a regular mop and the floors still didn’t pass the “paper towel” test. Enter Tineco. As soon as I charged it for the first time I did my tiled floors. I did 2 rounds just because I wanted to give the machine a fair shot on floors that never seemed to get clean. Oh my gosh, for the first time EVER there was no residue on a paper towel when I wiped the floor. None whatsoever. I’ve seen complaints about the battery but I have a 3600 sq ft house. I bought the combo (more in that later) which I think has a shorter battery life than the regular Tineco — I can still do my whole first floor before the battery even gets to 30%. I did my entire kitchen, eat in area, living room, dining room, and the first floor bathroom tonight and it was at 40%. I did have to clean the dirty water tank once and add fresh water but I don’t mind. I bought the combo — I wish I would have bought just the regular one. I have yet to use the hand vac and I honestly don’t think I ever will. I can just use our regular vacuum if I need to get into tight crevices. That is my only regret with this machine. Cleaning is a breeze. I had an issue the first time running the self clean — it kept telling me to clean the dirty water tank even though it was clean. I ended up just manually starting the self clean function and it worked like a charm. This machine saves me so much time and now my floors are clean. It takes not even 5 minutes to clean the machine when I’m done (wash the dirty water tank, the roller, wipe down the machine, etc) and that’s because I really want to take care of the machine. You probably don’t need to be as diligent as I am. I did notice it leaves slight streaking on my darker hardwood floors (nothing on my light hardwood). It is minimal and doesnt bother me whatsoever. All in all, I love this machine and so far I don’t regret this purchase whatsoever. I hope this review helps someone who may be contemplating!
I bought the machine three months ago. It is not working correctly. You have to put it on the charger to start the machine. I called the company they had me ship the machine back for repair receive the machine back with the same issue now they want to send me a refurbished machine! After spending almost $500 on a new machine, I have to except a refurbished machine. And they threaten you if you put a negative review.

This was worth the money. IMO, honestly I can understand how people who don’t love it. It is kinda annoying to clean after but the time it takes to do my floors it is worth it. When I purchased I did not think abut buying replacement rollers or the little filters or the cleaning solution. I found a cheaper roller and filter set on amazon which works well. The solution I found a two pack on amazon of huge bottle for pretty cheap to. The only downfall I will say that it is not a scrubber. It will get stuff off the floor but some things I need to do more to get up. Which isn’t often.

“What is this?! a vacuum for ants!?” The water tank holds probably one cup of water! If your house is bigger than 600 ft² don’t buy this. Even if it isn’t still don’t buy it because it’s crap for other reasons too such as: -It’s narrow brush head. This thing is tiny. -The filter has a design flaw…a major design flaw. There’s a pre-filter of sorts which is a plastic weird thing that gets jammed up with the smallest of things. Every.single.time. I’ll post a picture. -suction power is awful. -not good for carpets because again the suction power is awful. -Don’t fall for the gimmick where she talks to you and tells you what she needs because you can’t hear her over the sound of the motor. Okay here’s a few good things. Mine did in fact turn on and work unlike some other reviewers. The self-propulsion worked although I find it completely unnecessary since it only works on tile anyway. It doesn’t have a cord and charges in its own platform. That’s cool. The self cleaning function is badass but it still doesn’t clean out the faulty stupid completely misdesigned filter. It’s simply cleans off the roller and truthfully I don’t know how good of a job it did at that. I clean airbnbs. I’ve been using the crosssss waveeee made by a company that rhymes with thistle. I had bought the previous model in 2022 started malfunctioning and I had issues returning and communicating with tineco through emails. Bought the newer model almost a year ago and same issue. I hate tineco.

I used this 3 times and went to use it for the 4th time and it don’t work. I called Amazon because it’s only been a month since I have owned it. They said it falls under manufacturer warranty, so I called the manufacturer and they want me to pay to send it back and then they may send a machine. It depends on what’s wrong with it. I can’t believe I waited so long to buy this thing. My quality of life has improved so much in the last week I have used this! I have 3 dogs in my house. 2 Yorkies and one big dog. My male Yorkie has started getting up in the middle of the night and peeing on EVERYTHING! Now when I wake up in the morning to find his piss of destruction I just grab this beautiful thing and in a matter of minutes it’s all better. No more lakes and my house smells better than ever. It handles both the potty spots and the fur that may be hanging around. I run the machine over his mess a few times after the initial clean up to make sure the solution has both had time to clean up all of the mess and clean anything off the head, dump the tank and give it a rinse. The tank catches all the hair. I was impressed by how much it pulled out. I put it on the self cleaning cycle and once complete, dump and rinse the tank, and pull the head off to dry in the spot provided. At first I was pulling the head and washing it before having it do the cleaning cycle thinking it would smell like pee if I left it but I tried it just letting the machine do its self cleaning cycle and it way more dry than I could get it and smells fresh and clean. The only thing I have found on it was extra fur on occasion that I pulled off. Other than that, there was no smell or dirt residue left afterwards. I haven’t noticed that it smells at all after cleaning. I love that it’s cordless and easy to maneuver around and the edge cleaner really does go all the way to the baseboard. I was worried about the tank being too small since I had used a carpet cleaner with a hardwood option in the past and was constantly dumping it. This machine is so efficient with its water use and pick up that I only have to dump it once while doing my whole downstairs. It’s half the size of the carpet cleaner and the motor forward makes it super easy to handle. I use it on auto and it has enough power that I haven’t ran it dead doing my floors (about 1000 sq ft). Auto has plenty of cleaning power unless you really have a nasty mess like stuck on syrup . I’ve seen some people say that it would be faster to just grab a paper towel and clean it up. No way. It took me 45 minutes to clean it up last Saturday and started me down the path of finding this machine because let me tell you we had reached a breaking point. I was going to find a better way or going down for dog abuse. Jk I love the pissing SOB but still…it was point break. This morning it took less than 10 minutes from start to finish including a 2 minute cleaning cycle and pulling the head to dry plus instead of just cleaning the spots I went ahead and nocked out the whole bathroom floor and the walkway in then hit the kitchen mat while I was at it. It was a thing of beauty and a bonus since the pissing SOB is scared of the vacuum. Take that you fur gremlin! If it died today I would buy another one. It really is that great and my floors are cleaner than they have ever been. I’ve used a lot of products in the past but this one is by far the best of them. Save your floors, your dog, and your sanity and hit buy now.

This thing is great! I am a real person in NC. I was hesitant to purchase this because of the price, but I am glad I did. It works amazingly well. It threw me off at first that there wasn’t water all over the floor, but it actually kind of drys as it mops because of the power of the suction. Water was disgustingly gross and I was shocked because we really don’t keep a dirty floor. This thing is amazing! I love the little AI voice that talks to you. She’s very helpful in letting you know what is happening and what she needs adjusted.Ha! Very satisfied with this purchase! It works amazing and it actually lasts longer than 35 minutes! I love the ease of use on this mop nut did expect more based on all the great reviews. I find it very difficult, nearly impossible, to remove a normal shoe print from my floors. DISLIKE The prints are simply everyday shoes, nothing out of the ordinary is on the soles of the shoes. I always have to use a separate wet cloth, get down on the floor, and wipe them away. Another dislike is the number of times I have to empty the DWT and fill the CWT is ridiculous. My home is of modest size, total SF of moppable space is about 1550. I like to ,op the whole house at least every other day so that becomes a bother. I’m also wondering how to get the bits of debris out of the DWT. Is thera a way to open that to get it all out?? I have had it tell me to perform a self-clean, on numerous occasions, while using it. What’s up with that? I do a self-clean after each used to make sure it is always clean and doesn’t begin to stink. Does it know there is something clogging it? is that the reason it tells me to self-clean?? Having this mop really does make it easy to keep my floors mostly clean and I will keep it despite the drawbacks.

An amazing product.
I had it for almost a year at this point. I absolutely love it! I have about a 1000 sq feet to clean on the first floor, wood and tile. Tineco does it in 30 min. Sometimes less, depending on how messy things are. I love that I don’t have to wash rags, mops etc. and change dirty water. I need to empty the dirty water container when it’s full and rinse it after cleaning, but that’s about it. It does a great job cleaning even sticky messes. You just have to be patient with it and go over the spot a few times. It comes with two brush rollers and two filters. It was enough for a year with my frequency of cleaning, which is every three days or so. Cons: It is a machine, so it has its limitations. It may not get in every corner due to its size. It gets very close to the edges and walls, but not all the way. I wish it had a little longer battery life. Most of the time it’s enough, but there are some times when I have to wait for it to charge to finish the job. After a year the dirty water container does not click into place as easily as in the beginning. I have to give it a few tries.

This machine has changed my life. Having to vacuum and then push,spin,push,spin a mop is so much work. This takes that and makes it easy. I don’t even break a sweat while doing the floors. Pricey? Yes— worth it? Ten times over.

Such a great product!
I already own a Tineco 7 Pro and cannot believe how much easier it is to keep my floors clean. I save time and effort by turning two chores into one, which is easier on my back. I felt indulgent getting this for a vacation home, so I went with a lower model. It works just as well without so many bells and whistles ( it doesn’t talk to you), and I am so happy to have it.

Buyer beware!!! Customer service is sub-par!!!
I absolutely loved my vacuum mop while it was working. It unfortunately up and stopped working one day due to a sensor issue. Customer service insisted I send it in for a free repair, then without ever notifying me they decided to scrap my equipment. I had to badger customer service to give me any information as to why they just scrapped my equipment, but they had none. Then they offered me $75 lol, but because I was such a good customer they thoughtfully upped it to $150. I sent them the above pictures and told them they’d better get me a refurbished piece of equipment or a new one, or I will be seeking legal recourse. They reluctantly offered me one of only 3 refurbished models left, and told me they’d never send me a new one. Yay! Don’t waste your money. Awful company with faulty equipment.

Don’t waste your money!!! Won’t last long
Ok, I don’t want to waste my time writing a review but to save your money. Please read!!!! So I bought this machine 2 years ago. After one year, the batteries died. I have to contact their customer service and was so please with their service, helping me ship the product to their warehouse to fix it. They changed the batteries and everything worked fine. But it made me nervous about its durability though the cost of having it is $360 something. After another year, I mean, after 2 years of using it, it has another problem. It didn’t suck well and left a lot of water residue after each use. We tried to fix it (because it just passed the guarantee time :(), and we thought it might be the scraper problem. So I contacted them again and also was pleased with the service to help me order the new scraper for $15. We changed the new scraper with the new roller (costs another $20), but it didn’t work this time for us. All we got is a lot of residue and water left. So what we should do now???? Throw it away to the trash? What a waste to the environment!!! I do hope with the big investment I would be able to use the machine for at least 5 years or so (don’t count the extra cost of roller and cleansing liquid along the way). IT IS REALLY A BIG WATSE OF TIME AND MONEY TO BUY THIS!!!!! PLEASE DON’T!!!!

The media could not be loaded. Fire your cleaning lady and thank me later. This wet dry vacuum mop thing is incredible. It never fails me. It is lightweight , great on battery life, functional and effective. It does it all. It cleans up any spills, cleans/mops the floor and vacuums. What more can anyone want in a machine to help you clean your floors? It comes with a docking station port where you can play it to charge when done and where it’s accessories are stored. Whoever created this deserves a Nobel prize. Worth every penny.

Would not recommend. It smells moldy every time I use it even after using the self clean mode and cleaning the dirty water tank and filter after each use. I’ve only had it for 2 months and wish I could return. Waste of money.

Effective and easier to clean
I have been using this espectacular vacuum and I’m so happy to purchased. Clean very well, is it not heavy and the battery time is long enough to clean at least 40 minutes. One suggestion is after each use, is necessary to clean the dirty water tank to avoid any unpleasant odor.

Why didn’t I buy this sooner! With young kids this has been a game changer from spilled milk, noodles, or stepped on chips clean up is a breeze. Easy to use and light weight my 7 year old was even able to work it. *** make sure to self clean and empty dirty water tank right away otherwise or it will get a smell. ( got busy with kids and forgot) I put and in dishwasher and smell was gone. I’ve had for about 8 months with no issues.

Poor reliability, common failure and lacks support
Enjoyed the use of the Floor one S5 pro2 when it worked. Over the course of 2 years, the S5 pro would intermittently complain about full dirty water tank despite being nowhere full or totally empty. The error would eventually cease after a restart and/or thorough cleaning of the tank. At the end of warranty period, after purchasing 2 bottles of Tineco cleaning solution, the S5 pro cleaned one last time…A light floor cleaning due to a spill was performed with new Tineco solution. Upon running clean mode, the mop prompted for a restart, then complained of full dirty water tank. Tank was emptied and thoroughly cleaned, yet the mop still complained “dirty water tank full, please empty”. A quick search will show this is a common error and only possible “fix” is the clean the tank and contacts. Despite this being a common error, Support was not much help. After advising the warranty was over, they suggested purchasing a new dirty water tank and offered a discount on a newer model. This mop was $600 when purchased and it died 2 months post warranty period. Mop still looks new, was not abused and maintained well. Tineco is definitely not worth the price. Do yourself a favor and go with Bissell.

I went back and forth researching this for a year before I finally made the decision to spend the money and purchase this Tineco. I wanted to really use the product before leaving my review and after months, I do not regret this purchase at all. We have vinyl plank flooring throughout our house and this wet vac has been a game changer. It pulls up almost everything including stuck on gunk from the kids spills. I love the self cleaning option and its super easy to take the tank apart to rinse and let dry. If you hate mopping as much as I do, I would definitely invest in a Tineco!

The Tineco Floor ONE S5 is a truly must have product. It has cut down cleaning the floors substantially. I especially like the assisted forward movement which makes going around the room effortlessly. The maintenance & cleaning after use is fairly straightforward and easy. Highly recommended!

Dirty water tank sensor rusted in less than 30 days. It just keeps saying dirty water tank full. Cant use it. And the Tineco warranty process is terrible.

Horrible product (DO NOT PURCHASE)
This is, by far, the WORST cleaning product I have ever owned. Firstly, it leaves streaks on your floor, causing you to used my water and solution to try and remove it. Secondly, the cleaning solution does not have a strong smell to replace whatever mess you’re cleaning. Thirdly, my device stopped working only a three months after purchase. Yes, it is trash! I was cleaning a pet mess and the device kept telling me the dirty water tank was full despite me removing it and ensuring it was empty. I finally had enough and made the “cleaner” trash. Do yourselves a favor, FO NOT BUY THIS HEAPING PIECE OF TRASH!!!

I cant get one of these to last more than a year. Very annoying. This i e in particular the water pump failed. They want me to mail them the vacuum so they can fix it. I really don’t want to deal with any of that. Wish they would just replace it… another annoying aspect of this vacuum is the fact that it constantly want me to change the roller. What is the point of self clean if it will ask you to replace the roller after every use. Furthermore I was never able to connect this to my wifi.. it just does not find the vacuum. I really wish this vacuum did not have so many issues as it does the best job cleaning my floors.

Game Changer
I’ve tried a robot vacuum, but for size of my house it wouldn’t last long enough to clean the whole house in one go, battery wise and water wise. This machine tho the S5 Combo is so great the battery lasts longer and i can clean at my own pace and places that the robot couldn’t not fit into. I really recommend this machine it cleans super well. Super easy to clean and empty the dirty water tank. Noise level is about the same as a regular vacuum. Also it is decent in weight not super cheap and light.

What am I missing?
This was an extremely disappointing purchase at this price point for me. I’m surprised at all the great reviews because I feel like I got the dollar store version of whatever all these other reviewers claim to have received. I still have to mop my floors with a traditional mop after I use this on my LVP flooring if I want them to look, or really, even BE clean at all. I will say it was nice to have when my water pipes malfunctioned and left a shallow pool of water all over the break room floor even though it took a long time to get all the water up since it doesn’t hold much in the dirty water tank. Still better than trying to use towels. Wish I would have returned it.

OVERRATED
I don’t know how this mop gets so many good reviews. I have a small 1 bedroom apartment. It takes me 5 empty/refill and 2 self cleaning cycles to mop a small space. Unfortunately the mop will not allow you to ignore the self clean indicator or the emptying of water tank eventhough it’s not necessary. To make matters worse the mop head doesn’t uplift anything slightly significant. I find myself going over a simple spot several times. Save yourself a ton of money and go with anything else.
