I had been eyeing this machine for years after seeing it on social media. I couldn’t pull the trigger because it is expensive and the reviews were a bit mixed. When I saw it for sale with a steep discount during Prime day, I finally committed and I am so glad I did. I am a busy mom of 4 who just doesn’t have time to mop everyday (or week unfortunately). We have tile in the kitchen and hardwood floors where we eat. The kitchen tiles were NEVER clean. I sometimes steamed them twice in a row and then used a regular mop and the floors still didn’t pass the “paper towel” test. Enter Tineco. As soon as I charged it for the first time I did my tiled floors. I did 2 rounds just because I wanted to give the machine a fair shot on floors that never seemed to get clean. Oh my gosh, for the first time EVER there was no residue on a paper towel when I wiped the floor. None whatsoever. I’ve seen complaints about the battery but I have a 3600 sq ft house. I bought the combo (more in that later) which I think has a shorter battery life than the regular Tineco — I can still do my whole first floor before the battery even gets to 30%. I did my entire kitchen, eat in area, living room, dining room, and the first floor bathroom tonight and it was at 40%. I did have to clean the dirty water tank once and add fresh water but I don’t mind. I bought the combo — I wish I would have bought just the regular one. I have yet to use the hand vac and I honestly don’t think I ever will. I can just use our regular vacuum if I need to get into tight crevices. That is my only regret with this machine. Cleaning is a breeze. I had an issue the first time running the self clean — it kept telling me to clean the dirty water tank even though it was clean. I ended up just manually starting the self clean function and it worked like a charm. This machine saves me so much time and now my floors are clean. It takes not even 5 minutes to clean the machine when I’m done (wash the dirty water tank, the roller, wipe down the machine, etc) and that’s because I really want to take care of the machine. You probably don’t need to be as diligent as I am. I did notice it leaves slight streaking on my darker hardwood floors (nothing on my light hardwood). It is minimal and doesnt bother me whatsoever. All in all, I love this machine and so far I don’t regret this purchase whatsoever. I hope this review helps someone who may be contemplating!
I bought the machine three months ago. It is not working correctly. You have to put it on the charger to start the machine. I called the company they had me ship the machine back for repair receive the machine back with the same issue now they want to send me a refurbished machine! After spending almost $500 on a new machine, I have to except a refurbished machine. And they threaten you if you put a negative review.

Terrible Experience
The media could not be loaded. I am extremely dissatisfied with this vacuum. This is the second Tineco vacuum I’ve purchased, and both have stopped charging after about a year of use. No matter how you adjust the charging angle, it simply doesn’t work. Clearly, there’s a serious design flaw or quality control issue. I wouldn’t recommend this brand based on my experience.

I have owned this for a few months. Hesitated to purchase it due to the price. So glad I did! My floors have never been more clean. My kids (ages 7-13) can all use it well and have been taught how to clean out the tank. The only down side is that it doesn’t do corners or walls well. Some deep cleaning is still needed. For the day to day stuff though – this is a game changer! Battery last about 30 minutes – I can get to about two rooms on one battery. It picks up dog hair great – but the dog hair will fill the dirty water tank faster. I end up changing the water tank more than needed to charge the battery.

The media could not be loaded. Do you have life walking through your house? A child? A husband? Creepy crawlers? Anything that leaves a trail – you NEED THIS. It mops – it vacs – it self cleans inside when you’re done. Just dump rinse and let dry! I used to dread cleaning my floors because first you sweep, and then you mop, and then you have to clean up after the fact. This does it all. With a long enough battery to finish a regular sized house! Cleaning up after dinner, crafts, child who things dumping dirt inside is cool, etc is a BREEZE. And the instant gratification when you dump out the dirty water and see all the *yuck* no longer on your floor. I’ve already convinced multiple friends they need this, and now they love it too.

I wish I could love this but…it barley works
I have had this for 6 months and have mostly loved the ease I’d this and how great it cleans my floors with 3 kids, cats and dogs. BUT I now hate it and will be returning it however I can. I can no longer use it because I never know if it will work. It is always telling me the dirty water tank is full when it’s not! No matter how many times I take it apart and clean every piece or replace all the dirty parts with clean parts it says “dirty water tank full, please empty”. This machine WILL NOT WORK AT ALL of it thinks the dirty tank is full making this a useless piece of equipment. Sometimes it will work great and sometimes I cannot do anything. And now when it does decide to work, when I pause it to move something, it leaks the dirty water back onto the floor. For the price, and it only being 6 months old, I am very upset and will never purchase again or recommend this.

Vacuum and mop all in one
I have to do an update. It’s giving me problems It keeps shutting on and off. As for the vacuum part of it it doesn’t really get up all the little grains of dirt. One boy does it leave streaks. It has a cleaner that comes with it and then you have to buy more of course and it says not to use anything but there’s I have a problem with that because there’s doesn’t clean at all . Would I purchase again no I expected a lot more for this price point what I’m getting is what I would have gotten from a lesser price brand so if that’s what I’m going to get that’s what I’ll buy. Very disappointing. Oh and the suction not so great either

Perfect for hard floors
I have had problems cleaning my hardwood floors as they always looked streaked no matter what I used. That changed the very first time I used my Tineco. My floors are now clean without wet spots nor streaks. This unit is light so it is easy to pickup and move around. The parts that need filling or cleaning are easy to remove and replace. Please read the directions before cleaning so you know how to remove and clean the brush.

The Battery sucks
Overall, the machine works. But the battery only last for 2 years. Right after the 2-year warranty, the battery died. Hate it. There is no way for me to replace it. The only option is to send the whole machine back to manufacturing.It is time for you to pay more.

Very Happy with this Vacuum Mop
We have LVP flooring throughout the house and very happy with this purchase. Had another brand product that sort of swirl and scrubbed but it didn’t do as well IMO. This does a great job and love the self cleaning and other options it has. Had it for a few months now and it has performed well. Not sure I’m in love with cost of their solution in terms of value, but happy with the purchase of the machine when it was on special.

An okay purchase
I do like my Tineco but I do wish I researched other brands. I have found it is good at cleaning up big messes but does not clean up the little sticky messes on the floor caused by my kids. The dirty water tank message comes on even when the tank is completely clean and the sensors are wiped clean which can be frustrating. Depending on the cleaning mode, the battery runs out quickly even at a full charge. I do like that it is self cleaning and the rolls are easily cleaned in the washing machine. Overall it’s nice to have, but I don’t think I would purchase another one or a newer model. I’ll be exploring other brands when the time comes

Awesome product… Until it stopped working less than a year later
I purchased the Tineco S5 December ’23. I have to say, I love this wet dry vacuum. We use it religiously, daily! I am very particularl about cleaning it and do so regularly. As a consequence of daily use and care, my floors are cleaner than they have ever been. It’s hard to describe, but the porcelain tile in my home almost feels buttery smooth. Unfortunately, about a week ago the vac thinks the clean water tank is empty no matter what I try. I have cleaned it, I have tried using pipe cleaners like suggested online. I have tried warm water in the clean tank, but nothing works. It’s a bit disappointing considering we have had it for less than a year. I have reverted to using the old fashioned mop. It’s as awful as I remembered. I am hoping Tineco can help me figure out what’s wrong. I have contacted Tineco support, and will change this to a five star review depending on their response. I will update this review with their response.

Very disappointed. My machine has been giving me issues the past months or maybe even to a year about the dirty water tank being full despite it not being full. So have to empty and clean it out several times before finishing the task. Now, it keeps saying the same error – dirty water tank full, despite it being cleaned and emptied out, wouldnt even get to work even a second anymore. Even in the self cleaning cycle, nothing. So now i reached out to customer service and they cant help me at all bec it is out of warranty (so dont be patient and once you get an issue – claim! ) bec my patience to their product cant even be appreciated and this is for a vacuum that cost $$$.

This vacuum stinks like mold and your whole house will stink. The only way to avoid that is if you take each part out and clean it really well after each use which defeats the purpose of this “convenient” vacuum mop. For $450 This is not worth it at all.

Gets gross after a short while
First off, I regret not opening this up and try and get as soon as I got delivered. It was a leisure by so I don’t think I open until a month or so after it was delivered. By the time I realized it was not for me, the return window had closed. So now I’m stuck with the device that I’m not going to use again and cost a decent amount. Not to the review. At first I was less than thrilled with it because I felt like it wasn’t doing anything more than a surface clean. If there was any sort of a stain from earlier in the day from let’s say my 1-year-olds puree or snack or something, I would either have to go over it a dozen times, or stop the machine scrubble with my hands and then continue. At this point why do I even use the device right? Then I used it on the Mac setting, it did seem to work better, but still a lot of scrubbing involved. At this point I’m like well it’s not great but it’s not awful, I’ll use it for a quick clean ups the days that I don’t feel like bringing out my normal mop. About a month after using it, I went to clean the dirty water tank and wipe out the roller cover etc like I do after ever use, and I had the absolute worst smell to it. Mind you, even though I run the self-cleaning, I still clean the canister, I wipe down the entire front of the machine after I take out an air dry the cleaning roller, to help prevent any build up etc. And now I’m worried that every time I’m using it, it’s just spreading grossness around everywhere. So I’m stuck with a machine that not only cleans less than spectacularly, but I’m pretty sure it’s useless at this point because it just stinks, literally.

First Impression Fabulous but then technical difficulties
I bought this after having a Bissel for less than a year before it stopped working. This was bought for a second home that has since become our primary residence. The floors are mostly travertine tiles, and I wanted something that could surface and quickly clean them. The machine was great the first 5 times I used it, then one day, it just kept telling me to “empty the dirty water tank. I looked up on YouTube and found videos from other customers cleaning everything and putting it together again, and it worked fine. I clean the tank, the roller, and the filter. I wash and dry every piece of it, and whenever I turn it on, it shuts down after a few minutes, asking me to clean the dirty water tank again. I’m now on my third floor cleaner with a cord and no computer programs that can shut down. When it works, it works great. I haven’t seen a restart trick to get the system to understand the dirty water tank is clean.

I used it once and I felt the difference on my floors, mind you I have 2 toddlers boys always spilling things. At least for me it’s super good and I love that it’s light weight and finally not feeling restricted by a cord. It’s neither loud for such a good suction power. I’m glad with my purchase and would definitely recommend to parents who want to keep the floors clean without much effort. I love that it doesn’t leave the floors super wet, just enough to clean so I don’t have to worry of my toddlers slipping or falling with the wet floors. I can finally mop/ vacuum with my kids around. It’s a keeper for me!😁

I have been using Bissell crosswave for the past 4 years. Decided to switch to this brand after raving reviews. So far I don’t have any complaints. Love the fact that it is self-propelled and the liquid dispension is automatic which wasn’t the case with the other machine. See my floors, they speak for themselves.

Quick clean up
This is perfect for me to use after my toddlers make messes after lunch or whatever. I like how it’s a vacuum and mops at the same time. Just have to make sure you clean it out right away and let all the parts dry or it will start to stink. It seems to be somewhat quiet compared to the older models which is nice! I would not purchase this wet back again. It broke down after one year and stopped working contacted manufactures, and they want me to ship it and And they would send a label for me to send it back for their repairs and this is in China. I would rather purchase an American Made product that doesn’t have so many bells and whistles that will stop working and shut down so disappointed because I spent more money on this wet VAC because of the different voice commands, but I think a simple one without all the bells and whistles probably would still be working today

Perfect for Us
Being able to sweep/ mop at the same time fills my heart. I know it probably sounds silly, but not having to do the rounds twice thrills me. Plus, I like knowing that even if I’m just spot vacuuming, the floor is getting washed, too. Before we had this, if we used a paper towel to wipe the floor from a spill, you could see how dirty the floor was (even if it didn’t look dirty). After using this for a while, the paper towel doesn’t do that anymore. It just cleans the spill, but stays white. What a great feeling! However… we have a decently small home, and even we have to empty the dirty water tank and refill the cleaning solution before we complete our home. But, don’t let that turn you away. Just imagine how big/ bulky it would have to be to fit enough for elan entire home. I prefer the smaller/ lighter solution. Plus, to empty and refill is very easy and quick. We keep cleaning solution in the kitchen and bathroom so we can just dump and go midway theough the home. And the handheld!! What a great addition! We use it for the couches, the book shelves, the shoe rack, the toy box, etc. But- the vacuum and handheld use the same battery pack, so you can only use one at a time. *if you’re like us and multiple people tackle the home at once so we can get done and move on with our day. It’s not whisper quiet, but it’s not loud either. I can use it outside the room while my toddler is napping. And it self cleans! You still have to rinse it (why wouldn’t you take care of your investment) but it’s not like the older model we had where we had to rake it all aprt and clean each piece. That did get annoying. Overall, I wouldn’t get a different vacuum.

Important Info: *We have 4 doggos * Shark robo vac ran day before * Hasn’t been ” deep cleaned” in a while due to reno and moving * Used the AUTO mode. I did my entry, living room, kitchen, coffee bar area, and around most of the table and down some of the hall before I reached 12% and needed to stop to self clean. I emptied it 5 times and refilled 4 times, not including the self clean empty. (I went slow and could have covered the majority of the house if I went at a normal speed. (1900 SQFT) The brush is so powerful it’s self propelled, so hang on. Lol It handled the dog hair really well. The sensor for emptying told me before it was full that it needed to be cleaned because it had hair in the tank, but it never clogged and kept doing a good job. The solution you use is faint and smells good… fresh. It did leave some drops behind when I would pause to empty and refill but I just wiped those up no problem, no pooling. You dont lay it down at a low angle (like you could a dyson) for 1, it wont let you, and for 2, it will spill. I did get pretty far under some of my furniture though, it’s fairly close to the ground. I went with the floor planks and against, left no streaking. Did a good job cleaning up dropped people food and smears as well as dried dog drool around the water bowl. (Nite to self: Really need to teach dogs to wipe their face 😂) it sucked up a piece of cereal missed by my 4 legged hoovers, but didn’t suck up or clog on a Pokémon card from under the couch (just brought it out with it). It did try to eat a flip flop which was interesting, but that goes back to how powerful the brush is. Overall, I love it. Easy to use, light weight, not too loud, maneuvers with ease, cord is long, and very clear commands. 10 out 10 WOULD recommend.

I bought the TS5 brand new 7/23 and it worked great until about a month ago when the battery died (After fully charging) in less than 10 minutes in AUTO mode. I’m in the process now of trouble shooting with Tineco to see what they can do about this problem. Will update when the issue is resolved.

Piece of Garbage – Don’t Buy!
I bought this piece of crap 34 days ago. I used it once. I used it until the battery died and then plugged it in to charge. The next day I went to use it and it turned on and then immediately turned off and the battery indicator flashed orange that it needed to be charged, so I plugged it back in. I waited about 10 hours and tried it again and the same thing happened. I plugged it back in for two more days and the same thing happened today. I called Amazon and they won’t take it back because it’s 4 days past the return window. Don’t buy this thing! I have a corded Bissell hard floor shampooer/vacuum that worked great. This couldn’t handle being used more than once.

Very tiny canisters
I really had high hopes for this product. I was excited that it converted to a regular vacuum since I need to replace mine. I have a small kitchen and had to empty/ refill the canister 3 times plus another 10-12 times to complete my entire house. The canisters are extremely small. The mop cleaning aspect was great, the item self propelled which was a nice feature. The self clean at the end wasn’t fantastic and it explains why they provide that brush. Overall great for apartments or tiny homes but not so much for a 1,300 sq.ft. home or larger. I have a cheaper Bissell crosswave mop vac and did a side by side comparison. Ultimately I decided to stick with my Bissell as I only needed to empty/ refill 3 times for the entire house. Pros- Self propelled, good mop cleaning, converted to a handheld vacuum, light weight. Cons- Dinky canisters needed to be refilled/emptied frequently, self clean function mediocre at best, vaccum suction was lacking to pick up anything more than dust.

I’m thrilled with this purchase! Being on disability, finding an easy way to clean my floors has been tough. I love the self-propel feature and that it sweeps and mops simultaneously. While I wish the battery lasted longer, I can usually clean my 1,100 sq. ft. home if I prepare by removing everything from the floor first. The amount of grime it picks up is impressive—I think my floors are clean, but the water turns almost black every time! It handles my long hair well too. For stuck-on messes, you’ll need the boost mode, but the regular setting works perfectly for everyday cleaning, and it dries quickly. With my Bissell, the process took two days—one day to sweep and charge the battery, and the next day to mop. With this one, I’m done in under 30 minutes, from set-up to cleaning and putting it away!

Why did I waste my money on this? It was super cool at first with the lights, and screens and all. But I think I’m just going to stick to mopping and sweeping because the cleanup process on this is not worth it. And if you are like me and forget to clean it after each use You’re going to be blowing through moldy filters and new brush rolls like crazy. To me this did not work as good as a Bissell CrossWave Max because the brush roll is super soft on this machine. So I had to go over hard messes multiple times. I was hoping that upgrading from my Bissell to this would change my life but unfortunately these water cleaners are not my cup of tea.. Expecially when I spend more time cleaning them than cleaning the floor.

Starts out great then finished battery life
I have absolutely loved the Tineco vacuum mop. It makes my floors do clean. I really like how there’s a clean and dirty water tank so you’re never mopping with dirty water. The self clean function is also great! I’ve had it for about 2 years and the battery life was great until about a month ago. Now, once I get to about 40% I have about 5 minutes until I’m out of battery. Everything else works great just frustrating about the diminished battery life.

Less than 1 year and Tineco will not contact me back re warranty
I purchased my product less than a year ago. After multiple emails back and forth (my wet/dry vac is supposed to be covered under warranty) Tineco just stopped emailing and is apparently not honoring the warranty even though they have the receipt and all the info they need. I’m extremely disappointed and frustrated. I went online and apparently it’s very common for the unit to stop charging and my case is not an anomaly. I am hoping they do something to make this right.

Generally good and very convinient. But the scrolling mop head is a bit too small and smaller than the cover outside it. Which leaves it a gap when mopping the corner of floor. The charging dock is a bit too thin I had to be careful when I move it.

I never thought I’d be so excited about a mop. We purchased a new home 7 months ago. I could not get my luxury vinyl floors clean. I used bona, mop, vinegar, hands and knees & towel dried the floor. Still dirty! Tineco mopped arrived on Saturday, I had mopped the floor on Friday very throughly and the picture shows how much dirt was emptied from the dirty water tank after using my new machine!!! The other picture is after I finished cleaning with Tineco Floor one. My only negative is the floor cleaner sold by Tineco streaked my floors so next time I will use 1/2 capful or plain water. Fully charged machine runs 30-40 ish minutes of which I wish would last longer but I am able to get my floors done or close to done in that amount of time. DO NOT HESITATE TO PURCHASE! I researched and researched and I could not be happier with this product!!!!! It works awesome on my bathroom tile floors as well!

I had the machine for less than a year and the battery broke. I had to send it to them to fix and when they sent it back it was lost by UPS. Their customer service is super annoying. They offered me a refurbished replacement but since I was already disappointed because it didn’t even last a year I asked them to give me a partial refund. They valued my machine at only $160. I had it less than a year and they didn’t even value it at 50%. I had to jump through hoops to even get here. Even though they were the sender I had to go through a whole investigation with UPS before anything. It’s been forever that I sent the machine off and who knows when I’ll even get the refund. Super frustrated. Will definitely never purchase from this company again. We got a roborock instead. Much better value there.
