Bought this back in summer 2021 and it worked great. And then about 2 1/2 years later, it wouldn’t charge any longer. Tried troubleshooting by cleaning the contacts on the base and mop with isopropyl alcohol, nope, tried abrasive brush, nope, replaced the plug, nope. It’s dead. Maybe replace the battery is left? Probably rated it a 4 after purchase and a 1 since this didn’t last very long and apparently inability to charge is not uncommon. More uncommon is it is unrecoverable. My second bad Tineco product (top ranked vacuum based on CR did not vacuum well at all) and I’m done with them. They look good, though.

I would highly recommend it to everyone. It is only for hard floors, not carpet.

I’ve had swifters that last longer than this mop 😩 Once the motor goes out they say it’s unrepairable and they’ll refund you $30 via some warranty…? A $300 mop should last you longer than a year. So bummed. Definitely do not recommend, protect doesn’t last.

This thing cleans! We have three dogs and use it on laminate the most, but this was from our hardwood. Everytime the water is gross, which is a statement in its own. But it is so easy to use! I’ve owned this for 2.5 years now. And for the past year I’ve had issues getting it to charge. I set it on the base and the battery level number blinks and then goes away, never continuing to charge. I’ve tried all the hacks that so many other have mentioned online and they don’t work for me. Unfortunately this is an issue for SO MANY people who have purchased this. The last time I actually got it to 100% it only ran for 10 minutes before the battery drained again. It should run for about 25. So I couldnt finish my floor, then it was dead so I couldn’t run the self cleaning, but it wouldn’t charge. So all it would say is Charging has commenced, Please begin self cleaning, Low battery, Please charge, then lights out. Pick it up, place it back down on the base and repeat the cycle, never charging. I do not recommend at all and it was an absolute waste of $400.

For 10 full months, this vacuum was probably the single greatest purchase I’ve made in a good while. With a rotation of dogs (who sometimes forgot to take their business outside) and a hardwood floor, this machine was an absolute workhorse and really kept the floors looking and smelling clean. Until today, when I pulled it off the charger and went to use it. Ran for two seconds, then shut down. Tried again, same result. Charged again, same result. As good as this vacuum was for that 10 months, I cannot in good conscience recommend any appliance that can’t even last a year.

I’ve been using these vacuums for the past three years. I will say I am extremely hard on them. That’s why I always get the warranty because they are used almost daily. I decided to go with a less expensive option this last time around and I regret it 1000 fold The previous one at least gave you alerts when the tank was full and it would actually shut off when it ran out of cleaner or when the water tank was full. This one does not it has no voice control whatsoever so you have to be very careful and make sure you monitor the water in the tank and the dirty water in the tank.

Battery Charging Issue
I’ve had the Tineco for less than 2 years and it recently stopped holding a charge. When placed on the charging station, it says it’s started charging, but after a few seconds, the screen turns off and charging stops. If you have 30+ minutes on your hands, and want to pick up the mop and place it back into the charging station over 50 times, it will finally begin to charge. Because it’s been over a few months since the purchase, Amazon doesn’t allow any resolution. For a $400+ mop, I’d expect the life of it to be longer than 2 years

I’ve been very happy with my Tineco floor cleaner. It does a great job of cleaning and vacuuming at the same time. But 9 months in it just quit working, telling me to contact customer service. Tineco customer support told me that I have to ship it to Georgia to have it fixed and I’ll get it back in a couple of weeks. Their email support tried to get out of the warranty, and it wasn’t until I got someone on the phone that they agreed to fix it. It’s a great machine for a while, but longevity is sketchy.

I was thinking about purchasing this wet dry vacuum for a long time before I pulled the trigger and now I am wondering why I waited so long! 100% worth every single penny! I got it in the midst of my nesting period before having my baby and I cleaned the crap out of my entire house. It is easy to set up and use. We have LVP in our entire downstairs area and laminate upstairs and it cleans the floors so well – call me crazy but they do feel cleaner when I walk on them barefoot and I enjoy the smell of the cleaner it comes with. While you do have to clean the device after you are done using it, cleaning is very easy and a small price to pay for what you are getting – I find seeing the dirty water very satisfying. Goodbye spinning mop and hello future. I am so happy I splurged on this!

Couldn’t even get it to turn on
I was so excited to get this vacuum mop. I put it all together, plugged it in and the light came on for about 2 minutes. I waited a few hours to let it charge and when I tried to turn it on, it didn’t.

Love this little machine.
Got this the other day and I have to say it definitely lives up to the hype. Like other reviews says..no idea my floors were so dirty..I just mopped it lol. It is light weight and easy to use. Tackles all my down stairs floors with ease. Had to add more water before I could do the upstairs so I just let it clean itself since my dog wanted to go out at the same time. I cleaned 4 rooms a half bath and entryway before I ran out of water. So I gave in there. I wish I had this years ago lol. Highly recommend.

This 3 in 1 is great. But, I wish the water tanks were bigger. I have a dog that’s a heavy shedder and have to use the heavy water mode and tank only lasts long enough for 1 room. Second this model does not have a dirty sensor.

Won’t hold a charge
I bought this vacuum in January and it won’t hold a charge. It started having problems within 6 months of owning it. At this point it won’t even last for 30 seconds, very disappointing.

The media could not be loaded. I take pride in a clean home. Then I got this vac mop and realized how nasty my floors are gross. Wish the tank was bigger and the charge held longer. Other than that I love it!

Broken after a year.
Tineco does not have a replacement motor since it’s been discontinued, also a newer a model. Would never buy a Tineco product again.

Amazing
I mopped every week and look how much it picked up in just one small area (kitchen). The water reservoir is small so you will need to keep filling it often throughout cleaning but very worth it. Cleans better than any mop can

won’t charge if it drops 5%
works fine but if the charge drops less than 5% it will not charge. This started to happen exactly at the 2 years, I dont use it very much but never had a problem with it. until now. I looked up online and the solution is to take on and off the stand until it reaches 5% so it can commence charging. this is a lot of work it took me about 50 times and 20 minutes. very annoying

The machine becomes obsolete after less than 3 years.
This is a long term review. Bought this in Aug 2021. I use it once a month to reduce scum build up so its light use. The unit stopped self cleaning (requires you to complete the automatic self cleaning to use the unit). Call customer service and was told they no longer make the motor for this unit and there was nothing they could do. This was less than a year out of warranty. Not happy at all; just wanted it fixed and willing to pay for it.

I can’t understand why this would need to connect to my WiFi! It’s a vac mop so what’s the point?! It cleans floors ok but has lots of issues and needs to be sent back for fixing. Does work well for spilled cereal as you can get liquid and chunks together but I wouldn’t buy again! Beware of the fact that it can get on your WiFi without you ever putting in a password

Inoperable in less than 6 months
The product worked great but only for a short time. Within 6 months the device will not stay charged. I power It on to use, and it shuts off within 5 seconds. It has only been used a handful of times. Very disappointing.

Waste of money
Not practical! If you have tile, you’ll feel like nothing is actually being cleaned. I think this is comparable to a swiffer unfortunately. The idea it has an easy maneuverability was great except it wasn’t actually cleaning anything. I would notice it works just wet the floor but blue actually clean it. The solution track is so tiny it is actually useless. I feel like it’s extremely expensive for something i can compare to a swiffer

The Tineco floor cleaner was decent while it lasted. Pros: Didn’t have to sweep before mopping, uses clean water while sucking up dirty water, self cleaning Cons: must use their expensive cleaner, They make new models often so your model becomes obsolete quickly making it difficult to get replacement parts, clean water tank is very small, if not dumped immediately it will smell like death, and the biggest con of all, The machine stopped working after 2.5 years. And because they have a 2 year warranty and the machine is an “older model” there is nothing they can do. Your only option is to purchase a new model.

The media could not be loaded. After just three years my Tineco stopped charging. I contacted the company so that they can troubleshoot it for me or tell me where I can get it repaired. They said that they couldn’t fix it because they don’t have any authorized dealerships. Plus, the battery is integrated in the machine so that you cannot change it yourself. The only thing they offered me was a discount on a new one. I’m literally throwing away an entire machine after three years and spending $343.00. What a waste!

Not durable
I purchased this product 15 months ago, and it suddenly stopped working. Out of curiosity, I opened the screws to see what was wrong and discovered the belt was broken after just 15 months of use. Unfortunately, there was no way for me to replace the belt myself, and the entire part may need to be replaced. When I contacted customer service, I was told that since I had disassembled the unit, they could no longer assist me. I’ve already paid $300 for the vacuum, and they are now asking for an additional $106, plus over 7 days for back-and-forth shipping, during which I would be without a vacuum. I find it unreasonable that a $300 vacuum would break within a year, and this solution seems neither practical nor fair.

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM TINECO
I bought this vacuum/washer because I like the idea of having one machine do the two jobs. after 23 months it stopped working. it won’t charge, called Tineco becasue itwas still under warranty. Figured they will offer me a new machine instead they asked me to have it send back to them for repair. its been more than two weeks and I still don’t have my vacuum/washer back. once I received my vacuum/washer back, have to see if its working properly. in my opinion not worth buying anything from TINECO.

It is great for hardwood floors!
If you have been on the fence, stop hesitating. I was concerned it may be too wet to use regularly on hardwood flooring but it isn’t! I have tile and hardwood and it cleans both perfectly. It is self propelled and easy to use. Would highly recommend!

Terrible vacuum
We’ve had this for two years and I’ve had nothing but trouble with it. It clogs all the time – my husband is always having to work on it. We are going to buy a different one and will never go with this brand again.
