Bought this back in summer 2021 and it worked great. And then about 2 1/2 years later, it wouldn’t charge any longer. Tried troubleshooting by cleaning the contacts on the base and mop with isopropyl alcohol, nope, tried abrasive brush, nope, replaced the plug, nope. It’s dead. Maybe replace the battery is left? Probably rated it a 4 after purchase and a 1 since this didn’t last very long and apparently inability to charge is not uncommon. More uncommon is it is unrecoverable. My second bad Tineco product (top ranked vacuum based on CR did not vacuum well at all) and I’m done with them. They look good, though.

Best purchase ever
Everything about this mop vac is awesome. Was a breeze to put together. Had lessens the time it take me to clean the floor significantly. I do have to empty the dirt water reservoir on a regular basis, I’m not upset about that at all. Having three young kids we have had to clean up plenty of messes and the Teneco has done each clean up beautifully. It’s very light weight and leaves very little water afterwards. The amount of grime it gets off the floor always surprises me.

Got six months of use before it broke
I was so excited about this vacuum and thought it was great for the first six months. I kept up with all the recommended cleaning of the vacuum and proper care it requires in between uses. The first error it threw at me was “dirty water tank full”. After a day talking to customer service and troubleshooting it was deemed that it could not be fixed at home. I had to ship the vacuum in to be repaired (the only option customer service gave me) and it was returned to be about a week later. After it returned I used it once. The second time I went to use it, it threw a “Clean water tank empty” error. It was once again not fixable at home and they asked me to ship back again for repair, ignoring my requests for a refund with each email. I eventually got them to agree to a partial refund, but I don’t think this vacuum is worth the price. You only have a 30 day return window and after that your options are limited even if the vacuum is clearly not functioning properly. Secondly, once the year warranty is up they will not offer you free repairs. I would not purchase again.

All hype, not worth it at all.
Short story. The reason you should trust me, I’m obsessed with vacuums. I have bought 4 vaccums and 5 vaccum/mop combos in 5 years. This is not worth the money. Go get a Bissell cross wave. Don’t listen to the people calling this the BMW. There’s nothing “BMW” about this. They have gimmicky features like WiFi and that clean sensING feature that are absolutely worthless for what they say. The WiFi feature tells you how many cycles you can do. Wow… cool. And the clean sensing feature will pretty much kick in if you’re just standing still on clean floors. The clean and dirty water canister is extremely small. I had to empty the dirty water receptacle 6 times in a space of roughly 400 sq ft. And fill up the clean water about 8 times. The battery ended at 400 sq ft. At it will take 5 hours for it to charge back to 100%. If you have more than 400 sq ft to clean, this thing will be your worst enemy. Just to give you a comparison. The Bissell crosswave is pretty much half the price, doesn’t have a battery to charge and the clean and dirty water canister is much much larger. I can clean a 900 sq ft area with only adding and removing dirty water twice. My Bissell busted after 2 years of heavy daily use in a 2,000 sq ft space. I returned this right away and bought the Bissell crosswave again. It’s insane how better it is than the Tineco. I strongly suggest you don’t waste your money, time(waiting for an 5 hour battery to charge) and energy(refilling and dumping the small water containers).

My home has all hardwood flooring. This has eliminated the need to vacuum prior to mopping because it does both! Ensure that you clean the dirty water tank and run the deep clean cycle in order to not have any odor issues. Very easy to clean and assemble. Battery easily allows me to sweep my entire home on a single charge. Have had no issues with the suction on the vacuum. You may have to replace the clean water tank multiple times in one go if you’re cleaning a large area.

Quit Working 😭
This quit working suddenly and without warning. There’s no reason for it to have broken. I also received advertisements from the company right after it stopped working, which makes me wonder if they disabled it to get me to buy another. If that’s the case, shame on Tineco! When it did work it was a good machine other than the mildew smell. Make sure you soak your stuff in vinegar for a few hours every so often to kill germs and get rid of smells.

Lightweight and easy to use
This is one of the best purchases I have ever made. I was lugging and bucket and mop around to clean my tile floors only to realize, all I was really doing was moving the dirt around. This mop is lightweight and easy to use. I sweep my floors by hand first because I have two labs and lots of dog hair. I had to go over my floors a few times when I first used it to clean them but it did amazing job. My floors felt so good after I cleaned them. Love the self cleaning function!! A couple of cons for me were as follows but not a deal breaker. I would highly recommend to this product to everyone!! Cons- Wish I paid a little more to get a higher grade which has larger compartments for water so I wouldn’t have to stop and fill the water as often. The compartments are a little tricky to re-attach but seems to get a little easier each time I use the mop.

Vacuum busted & I can’t get any help from customer support at Tineco. Don’t waste your money.
I bought this Tineco and after 6 months it suddenly kept telling me that something was stuck in the brush and it wouldn’t function. I’ve cleaned out the tray, replaced the brush several times and also bought replacement parts to put in new items. It still doesn’t work. Don’t waste your money on this product. Tineco is no help. I’ve called several times and they never answer and they don’t call back.

The machine broke in less than a year, I called customer service and it took more than a month to fix, in less than 6 months it broke again, so I’m going to be going through this process until I buy a new one from another brand because the warranty only covers the repair. It worked fine for 2 years (about one a month), right after the end of the warranty battery died. I called customer support, they don’t have battery replacement, offered repair for 80% of the price of the new vacuum cleaner. Based on what’s published on Internet it’s a very typical situation with this kind of vacuum cleaner. If you buy it be ready to buy a new one in two years.

Check your package!!! I didn’t use this for a long time. We had to wait for Weiss floors to be repaired and coated. Last night, I found the handle does NOT go to the vacuum sent. No self cleaning button! I encouraged my neighbor to buy one at the same time I did. Yesterday, I saw hers and realized the issue. I have been on hold listening to your AI bot for am hour, after having up call back from disconnect. Either they have 1 customer service agent, or MANY problems. Either way… BE WARNED, this item will NOT have any customer service. An expensive lesson.

Breaks Right After Warranty Ends

Poor performance
I got this in Novemeber and didnt use it till January. I kept it meticulously clean and the roller just stopped working in May. This is an extremely poor investment. Dont buy. And its impossible to get hold of any help on their contact number.

One stop cleaning
After seeing my daughters purchase I came home and ordered right away.. my home has vinyl textured floors throughout.. this will clean floors instead of mop and bucket and doesn’t leave a lot of water on surface and will pick up small stuff at the same time.. Easy to clean when done.. comes with extra micro fiber roller and cleaning solution and extra filter .. has tray for it to sit in while charging.. I love this product

Does a good job BUT
This mop does a good job and cleaning the floors. However, the process of cleaning the actual mop after being used is such a process that I find myself reaching for my traditional mop way more. Ive read many comments about the mop beginning to smell so I really stress getting it cleaned to prevent a bad smell. The rollers are not washer safe. It’s all done by hand.

Worked for only 6 months

Tineco Floor One S3
I purchased 2 of these Tineco Floor One S3, both machines stopped working around the same time. Just gives a voice message of please clean dirty water tank. Had to send both back and they were replaced by 2 old, dirty, damaged machines. Worked for a while and know we are having the same issue with both machines. Will not buy from this company again.

Fire Hazard
I’ve barely used my wet/dry vacuum cleaner, and I’m hesitant to use it further due to safety concerns. Both of my cousins (convinced me to purchase it) had incidents with the same wet/dry vacuums sparking and smoking from the battery! Despite having it for several months and keeping it in excellent condition, I’ve only used it twice. I cannot get seller to reach out to me to confirm it’s a safe device.

Bad customer service
When things don’t work they tell you to clean it and replace the filters when I’ve already replaced the filters with brand new ones, cleaned everything like it’s new, and it still doesn’t work. I’ve gone back and forth with their customer service for weeks and they still just say “you need to clean it” yet my vacuum will not stay on for more than 10 seconds

Poor Quality, Stopped charging after 18 months use
The media could not be loaded. You can see the state of my vacuum in the attached video. It was rendered unusable after it stopped charging. No visible damage or issue can be seen. I took care of it well. When I researched the issue I found tons of customers have had exactly the same experience.

Poor Quality- Failed after a year and half
It worked great at first. Now it won’t charge or run self cleaning cycle. When I googled the problem apparently this is a common problem as there are videos on you tube showing various fixes. I tried all the suggestions. Also you can only use the tineco solution which is only sold via Amazon and Tineco.

Died after 3 years of very minimal use, battery not replaceable & not repairable
I have used this vacuum very seldomly. It looks brand new. However after 3 years the battery seems to be dead and customer service has told me it is not repairable due to discontinued parts and no longer under warranty. For such an expensive vacuum I would expect a longer life span or way to repair it! It’s basically landfill waste at this point. Very disappointed.

My Floors Were Filthy!!
I used to use a Swiffer to clean my floors and thought it did a decent job. That is until I bought this vacuum/washer. The water, after my first go round, was dark brown. My floors were filthy and I didn’t know it. I am all about efficiency and it doesn’t get any better than this for clean floors!! Thank you Tineco!

Worked for 6 months then wouldn’t charge
Short battery life but otherwise it was decent until it stopped charging after about 6 months. Contacted customer service and after proving to them the vacuum stopped charging, they sent a shipping label to return to them for repair. I was then contacted that the machine could not be repaired but they would give me a $70 voucher. That’s pretty insulting considering the amount I paid. Bad quality, bad customer service, do not recommend.

Easy to use for a quick clean up. Not heavy. Like the self cleaning feature, although you do occasionally have to take it apart to clean. If this breaks, I’ll get another one!

Surprising to see the dirt come off the floor
Instructions were easy to follow. Be aware that the handle does not attach in an intuitive way. Make sure the release button side matches on the right side. We tried it on our great room tile floor and were amazed how much dirt it picks up. Great for wide open spaces but not in tight spaces. We are very happy with the purchase. While the manufacturer indicates only to use their solution, we will research online for home made cleaning solutions. Stable unit with good suction. Be careful not to use too much water on your floor, which we accomplished easily during our first use.

Don’t waste your money
I waited almost a year and even after speaking with customer service a few times i want to now write my review. With all the type for these products i was excited to get mine but over time, i kept getting more and more disappointed. I have to go over the same spot several times for it to clean. Even then half the time i have to clean it by hand. It leaves water spots as you clean. It is convenient then a mop and bucket but at this point I’d rather be inconvenient with that then have to clean the same spot several times and then by hand. Very disappointing. I even reached out to customer service and sent my machine back only to have the same problem again.

It’s perfect
I was hesitant because the run time was 20 minutes and charge time a few hours. I’m not going to lie, my husband kept the box for a day or two incase we wanted to return it and get the bissell cross wave. After using it for the first time, we actually did all the floors very quickly. Quicker than we expected. AND, it cleaned very nice, no streaks and dried up very quickly. My complaints would be wishing it had an interchangeable battery or ran just a little longer, and had a larger tank for the water where you put in the solution. Otherwise, this is perfect and for the price and how compact it is, it’s great!
