I bought this to use on my bamboo wood floors and my tile floors. I cannot believe how simple it is to use! No more pushing and pulling with my arm, making it sore and everything can be done in one easy step. The cleaner only takes a cat full and really cleans! You won’t believe after you use it the first time how dirt your floors were no matter how much you always mopped. I love it.
It cleans well, but the container that holds the clean water and cleaning solution doesn’t completely empty and is impossible to air dry. It got mold in it after only a few uses and can’t be removed as it’s inside the plastic where the nozzle is.

Doesn’t self clean as well as expected.
Can’t decide wether I love it or dislike it. Overall I’ve kept it cause it does well enough to save me the time and energy of doing both. Probably would have bought something similar In a cheaper brand for less if I could go back. Love the tech. Not the price For the brand. It does pick up very well. Doesn’t get things off that are a little stuck or have been left for part of the day. Works best if used immediately after the mess is made. Not always possible as a mom. It self cleans the internal tube which is great. The brush doesn’t get very clean during self clean. And the things it vaccines mixes with the water and makes it really hard and gross to clean out. Also on mine the sensor that tells you when the floor is dirty really doesn’t seem to be accurate. Won’t turn red running over Cheerios but does when I’m going over a part of the floor that seems fine.

I would avoid. I’ve had my vacuum replaced three times. Same failure.
Unfortunately, when this machine works, it’s great. But I’ve had to send it in for repair for the same malfunction 3 separate times– the motor which sucks up water gets clogged– and makes the machine concretely useless. In their defense, tineco support was always quick to reply to my emails, but I can only stand the same issue coming up so many times. Ach time, having to spend money to pack it securely as its such an awkard size. I’m at my wits end with this machine. I now go to sleep thinking of simpler times when you had a mop and a bucket, instead of an annoying computerized voice telling you to empty the water tank when it’s already completely empty. Over, and over, and over again. I wish I could write a glowing review but I cannot. Frankly, this machine sort of sucks.

What I like… it’s cordless and pretty light weight. Doesn’t soak floor to much and seems to pull backup dirty water decently. It’s also pretty quiet compared to other vac mops I’ve used. What I don’t like… battery run time. My home is about 1800 SF. All tile and hardwood except 2 bedrooms. If I move REALLY quickly, I can get my kitchen and living done in 1 charge. But that’s moving much faster than I would prefer. Recharge takes longer than I prefer also. Clean water tank is small and have to refill often. Overall I can see how this could work for someone who vac mops small areas. But its not convenient for me. I often prefer to clean all my floors in one go.

this was my third attempt to purchase/use a wet-dry vacuum and after a bunch of research, reading reviews, and trial and error, I am at peace with such a purchase. so let me sum it all up. run-time, dual-tank, self-cleaning (including the tube) and weight were my top features for this purchase. tips: learn your home. prep your area. treat this as a power mop. Step 1. preset your cleaning area. Position your furniture so that they are ready to clean under/around and easily maneuver. shake out any debris from your rugs. this will allow you to maximize cleaning time on your Tineco battery life Step 2. Sweep or use a hard floor vacuum (only). this will minimize the amount of cleanup in your tineco. (skip if you’re okay with cleaning out all the muck – I couldnt, lol.) Step 3. Scrub out anything stuck to the floor. (i have a dedicated scrub/sponge for my floor) The Tineco does not pick up or scrub out anything stuck to the floor (toddler moms – this is for you, lol) Step 4. Use your Tineco. I have been able to clean my entire floors in under an hour – all 4 steps included – and by the time I am done using my Tineco, there is still 60%+ of battery life left. and it takes me less than 5 minutes to clean the parts. My only complaint is I wish the water tank were larger but the self-cleaning including the tube outweighs this.

Not worth it
I did extensive review of this product because the price is higher than similar known brands. Most reviews are positive and everything appeared to support a quality product. The price is high for a floor cleaner, but I decided the reviews supported the purchase. If I went with my initial review the unit is nice it cleans well and is a good product. After about a month the motor burnt out and the machine is just collecting dust. I think I used it ten times and it no longer works. I would have been better off purchasing a more affordable product with the same reviews had I have known it wouldn’t last.

Works good but always smells
I love that I can easily clean up wet messes and dirt off my floor at the same time.. but having to dump it every time I use it- is a lot of work especially having toddlers that follow me everywhere I go. And if you don’t dump it then it smells for days. And it seems that you need to replace parts often which I didn’t realize when I bought this expensive vacuum. I loved my first tineco which only vacuumed and thought this would be so much better.. sad to say I wish I would have just gotten another dry vac instead of the wet vac.

This thing is a headache
What a mess to clean after mopping! Takes longer to clean the product of hair and gunk post mopping than it does to actually mop. Also, this thing leaves terrible steaks on my floors and does not clean the edges. There is always about a half inch to an inch gap along the walls where it doesn’t clean. I wish I would have returned this item during the 30 day return window

Worth it but don’t recommend for a lot of square footage
This is a game changer for mopping. The water going on the floor is always clean, picks up debris left behind after sweeping (not large debris though), doesn’t leave any streaks or residue on the floors. The only drawback is that the compartment for water and solution isn’t very large. If you are looking to mop a big space you will have to empty and fill this thing up 5 or 6 times. It’s very easy to empty and refill but the water does not last very long. I also noticed when the water is used up and you turn it off, the base leaks a little fluid, I usually run a towel over it at the end to pick up the last bit. If you continue running the machine when the water has run out, it will start to release the excess water from the bottom basin that holds dirty water. You’ll end up with a mess. Overall it’s great, makes mopping clean and easy just not the best option when you have a lot of square footage to cover.

I hated my LVT floors before this!!! I used to vacuum, then dust my floors, then swiffer then I felt like swiffer wasn’t good so then I mopped… and I never felt like my floors were clean. It drove me nuts! Now I love my floor’s because this thing cleans them up so well! Im kinda obsessed with it. I actually feel comfortable going barefoot now. It is pricy but honestly so worth it!!

Strangest vacuum that self propels forward to make it easier to use. Love how it vacuums and mops. Like no joke it does both. Only downfall is the water compartment is small so I’m having to change it out at least 3 times to wash all my floors. Also is very hard to vacuum/mop the stairs with this so resorting to a swiffer for the stairs

I purchased my Tineco on 12/21/2021 and use it once a week. Everything was good until 12/24/23. It stopped sucking water back. After I checked my purchase record, the 2-year support window was closed on 12/22/23. Does the manufacturer know their product only last about two years!! It is very pricey if you buy a new one every two years.

Bought this in October of 2023, it lasted two months before the brush motor started to go out and the vacuum Keeps saying contact custom service. I’ve spent almost 2 weeks now trying to get the manufacturer to send a shipping label to send it out to be fixed. Everytime they just say it will be in your email within 24 hours never get anything from them. The battery doesn’t last but 20 minutes in auto mode and I keep my floors clean so hardly ever do I use full power or the auto have to go to full power. Was not worth the money and was a complete waste as I can’t get it fixed or replaced. Will be going back to a bissell.

2 years and it no longer works at all
I loved this cleaner as long as it worked, it cleaned great and fast, BUT after 2 years of the battery slowly lasting a shorter time each use – it is now history and does not work at all. For the cost, it should last longer, the battery will charge for hours and not even have enough power to self-clean while on the charger. Really not acceptable at all! Also, many of the plastic parts, including the clean water tank have cracks which makes them leak… I expected more for the cost.

save your money — after a year it’s completely broken
i half love this thing and half don’t. i use the tineco at least three times a day — i have a toddler and a puppy so things get dirty — and it feels like i have to deep clean before every use or else it just gets so stinky. the machine is constantly leaking and leaving streaks and now the charging base just decided to die and i’m left with a useless machine. love the concept of a vacuum mop all in one thing, but sometimes this just added to the mess instead of helping it. i have to buy a new machine now and it’s definitely not going to be a tineco.

The media could not be loaded. I had this machine for right at 2 years, and it’s now so damaged it will not work. I have babied this machine- changed parts consistently, cleaned thoroughly after every use, and now barely after two years, it’s giving me the message that there is motor malfunction and to contact customer service. Customer service says they will fix it for $150. Might as well buy a brand new Boswell Crosswave that works 10x better! Very disappointing… be prepared to only use this vacuum for a couple years at best.

Motor broke less than 6 months after warranty ended.
I loved this and it worked so great. Bought in June 2021, 2 year warranty ended June of this year and in October it started not working correctly. And now won’t suction or stay on for more than 5 seconds. I have taken excellent care of it, cleaned it after each use and stored it on its charger. Very unfortunate especially considering the cost.

3 year update
I bought my Tineco in October of 2020, a year later the motor failed and had to be replaced. Cool under warranty, now here I am 2 years after that and the motor has to be replaced again. This time not under warranty and it costs just as much to purchase a new cleaner from a different brand. I loved this machine up until now which marks 3 years of use for $430 doesn’t seem like an equal trade.

I love this vacuum mop, it’s been great for keeping my floors clean. You do need to make sure to clean it after every use or else it starts to smell bad.

My least favorite Tineco
I have had 3 Tineco mops and this is the worst of them all. My last one was the combo one and it was my favorite. I ended up needing to use the warranty and they ended up giving me a gift card/refund so I used it on this Tineco because it had good reviews. Big mistake. If you have pets, don’t even bother. The filter is not pet hair friendly and will clog every few swipes. The roller gets clogged just as easily. It does not have the feature where it gets close to the baseboard so you have at least an inch where it won’t suction or clean. It doesn’t have the self cleaning feature and that, I feel, is a must. These mops need cleaned well in order to keep functioning well. With this mop I have to clean things out a minimum of 3-4 times and I don’t have a big house at all. If you’re going to spend the money, invest in the combo one, at least.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE
This mop comes with a 2 year warranty, but you can do a quick search that most of these die just after 2 years. The “repair” service is a flat fee of $100, you can’t buy the part that needs replaced like dyson. You can’t take it anywhere to get it fixed, and they won’t tell you what failed. So all in, you could be paying $100 for a $3 part. For the price of this mop, I would expect a longer life and better customer service. Along with that, I’ve never gotten this mop not to streak. My money will definitely be finding another option after this experience.

Do NOT recommended. Lacking performance. Overpriced. Poor customer service.
Worked well until the first time the tank needed emptied, which was about the second or third use it’s so small. Down hill after that. We have all hard floors and no carpet so no issue with fibrous debris clogging things up. Still, lack luster performance even when new. Filters need replaced constantly or they stink terribly and will smell up your house as you use it. Water and debris tanks are ridiculously small. Performance steadily declined in less than 6 months to the point we’re basically wet mopping our floors as it no longer picks up the water it puts down. Performed all cleaning and parts replacement recommended. Contacted CS as obviously this is not working correctly. Got the run around, asking for pictures and videos with slow/delayed replies. Finally sent back in for repairs and it came back in worse shape than we sent it in. Literally had a screw not installed and was actually dirtier than we had sent it in. After reassembling it is still does not pick up water when running. Contacted CS again and getting the same run around of questions. Great idea on paper design. Poor execution at best. Abysmal customer service and repair teams. A swiffer and a dry mop would / did perform better at a fraction of the cost. Spend your money elsewhere, do NOT recommend.

Battery died after one year with limited use
What can I say… I’ve used this vacuum very sparingly and the battery has died after one year. I use it for a small apartment so it was very useful when it worked. The unit moves forward very easily so I like mopping with this compared to a traditional mop. But after one year, no matter how long I put the vacuum on the charger, it does not charge past 2%. Of course, this happens just after the one-year mark, so no warranty. The battery is not replaceable, so now this is just a door stop. When I spend $300 on a vacuum cleaner, I don’t expect it to break in one year.

To much upkeep
Has to be cleaned after every use. The clean water tank needs to be drained and disinfected or it will have mildew inside. After three years of use the suction hose has now cracked. Never buy another product from Tineco.

You Need It
Absolutely love this vacuum / mop. If you have hardwood floors (especially if you have a dog!) this is a must. In my opinion it’s not for deep cleaning your floors, but for everyday spills, muddy paws, crumbs, ect. it’s great.
